Great place for creative artist to be around. Lots of good vibes and life! ————————— This is an update three years later: they have moved closer to Erin Mills, which seems like an upgrade. It looks more spacious and open, still cozy and feels nice like the old location. However, not very happy about the paid parking situation.

This is one of mississauga's hidden gems! The cafe is very aesthetic. It's got a hobo chic vibe in the store and there's plenty of space for outdoor dining. They have board games and event spaces on the inside, making it a perfect destination for a group hangout or for a date. The drink selection is also quite extensive. I personally loved the spiced chai latte. Being vegan, this is a very lactose friendly place with a ton of alternative milk options. Their coffee and banana chocolate bread was also delicious. With it being a non-profit just adds that cherry on top. The only thing is that it's not extremely parking friendly. There is public parking around the corner for a fee, but it might be better to just park at Erin Mills Mall and do a quick 3 to 5 minute walk to get to this cafe. More space

I’ve seen this place everytime I visit my friend and finally got the chance to try. Didn’t know it is a vegan place. Tried their coffee and it taste good so with the cookie and the scone. Service was great and I love the chill ambience. Will definitely gonna come back soon.

Brilliant cafe! Soothing ambiance, comfortable seatings. Friends and family activities (board games). Best place for vegans! Mr. Will hosts every other customer with great friendliness. Relishing taste of cookies 🍪. One of the best banana bread. Extremely thick and creamy hot chocolate. All in all amazing cafe!

Highly recommend - it's the coolest café in Mississauga. Great space to work or meet friends - lots of comfortable seating options. Their whole menu is vegan, and they also have a decent amount of gluten-free options! I highly recommend their pistachio rose cupcakes and their loaded bagels (both come in gluten-free options)! They also have a variety of community programs and events to participate in - ranging in topics from art to health to activism. All around, a socially responsible organization and space!

Seriously one of the Hidden gems in Mississauga. If you are looking for an Eco focused Vegan cafe with a collaborative approach towards the community and enjoy some indoor games this is the place to be. Went with my wife here and we ordered a Notella Latte with Soy milk & a Spice chai latte with almond milk. They were delicious!! *Parking spot is just behind the cafe and inside a Condo and yes it’s a paid one or you can park at the mall across ( free spots) and take a walk to the coffeehouse. Look forward to drop by again soon!!

Beautiful comfortable spacious coffee shop. So hard not to get in the “zone” and be creative really quickly. All the staff are super friendly. Sharing the concept of the place. Community activities are a big part of its culture. Will definitely return. Career Coach @career_happiness (IG)

I ABSOLUTELY adore this place! Located at a very accessible intersection, Studio 89 provides the perfect alternative to Starbucks and other regular chain cafes. Everything about this place is so welcoming and so cozy. They have regular table seating, and then comfortable couches and chairs for you to relax, work, and enjoy the company of the people around you. They are fully vegan, so no real cheeses are used in their sandwiches, and only alternative milks are used in the drinks. They are also hyper sustainable, and you will notice this by how well they advertise it in store and in how they present their services. My first time walking in, I was warmly greeted and they walked me through everything there is to know about this place. From how they ethically source their coffee to how they set up and host community events for the Mississauga area. Overall a great place if you are looking for that cozy and comfortable cafe experience

One of the best vegan cafes in the neighborhood. I love their options for vegan snacking, as well as their hot and cold drinks. They have a very versatile seating arrangement that includes options for playing board games when you're with a larger crowd. The ambiance is the best part. It's the perfect spot for coffee dates, game nights, team meetings, working, and reading.

I’m so happy I came across this place. It might be the nicest cafe in Mississauga and it’s great to have a good local option that’s not a Tim’s or Starbucks. The coffee was excellent as was the banana bread. Will be back!

Studio 89 has become by favorite go-to study spot. I am a university student and leave campus early so I can study at this café. The staff are amazing and super friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for studying or a meet up. Definitely recommend. Also, today I tried their new tomato soup with grilled cheese and a hot chocolate and everything is amazing!

Had a delightful experience at this lovely little cafe. Ambience is calm and cozy with nice decor. Tried oat milk with my iced coffee for the first time since they were out of almond milk and I must say it actually tasted better than my usual coffee with creamer. The grilled cheese sandwich was really good. Friendly barista and staff. Overall 10/10! 👌

Liked the vibe of the place from the pictures and wanted to try it. I understand this is a non-profit cafe & volunteers make up the cafe staff but it shouldn’t be an excuse for subpar service. The lady who was billing our order left the counter in the middle of taking the order without any communication. The guy who finally prepared the order served us a half burnt tofu tikka wrap (best avoided) and coffee in a chipped mug (this was after we waited for 30 minutes because he had mistakenly given our coffee to another customer). Upon informing that the mug was chipped and it nicked my lip, there was no apology, in fact no reaction of any sort. I requested for a take-away cup and left the place.

I absolutely love this local cafe. I ordered a matcha and it was amazing. The staff are just amazing and the space is adorable to hang out with friends. It’s so cozy.

#1 Matcha in Mississauga area. Trust me, I am a great connoisseur of Matcha, have tried lots of places within Mississauga, but this is the best so far. I tried it with soy milk with no sugar. It was yum yum. The barista was so cool and prepared the best matcha I have had recently. Thanks to her. Great ambience and location. It’s a vegan place, I am yet to try other food/coffee options here. My little concern is the parking. Though they have parking lot in the condo, if you want to get a pick up order - it’s going to take bit of time. If you plan to sit and enjoy the ambience, then it’s a great choice for any time of the day.

Really loved their food here. Atmosphere is quiet but a lot of people were working away (similar to a starbucks). Food was delicious and served in an adequate amount of time. Love the fact they have a calendar of events with a lot of stuff going on, would definitely recommend stopping by for a quick bite or coffee!

Love the vibe. I've admittedly had better vegan bakery food though (I am vegan), but it is super clean, cozy, non-profit & there are some board games you can play (so if you play them I'd say it is definitely worth the price, acts like a pseudo board-game cafe.) I spent like a good 3-4 hours here with my boyfriend.

Overall the vibe is superb, the staff is amazing. It’s the best place in the entire surrounding for casual meetings and to catch up with friends. Perhaps a very good place if you want to sit with your laptop and work alone. This place serves excellent organic coffee but ☕️ black only. Food I just had some chocolate brownie it was okay and the banana bread was 3/5 . I can go there again and again for their coffee and the wonderful staff. Food is not my type 😅( All Vegan) though love the idea of fair trade and organic which they are promoting.

I LOVE THIS CAFE!!! The staff is very kind and friendly. There are comfy couches and tables to sit and do work. There are plugs in the floor to plug in electronics as well. I will be back for sure, the aesthetic and vibe here is exactly what I was looking for as a workspace.

Great vegan cafe. We spent a few hours there with friends having some lattes and light food. All vegan and decent portions. Service was good, loved the ambiance, the music. It has a lot of potential to be even better with more specialty drinks and things but very enjoyable overall. The staff was very nice too.

I thought this was just another cafe, but to my surprise learned that it is a non-profit community space that also sells organic fair trade coffee. Every dollar spent here counts as a donation that goes into supporting community programs and helping vulnerable people in Mississauga, so I’m glad my money goes back to helping the community I live in. The coffee, hands down, is the best I’ve had in all of Mississauga. They also offer dairy-free milk options such as oat, soy, almond, and cashew. Food wise, they carry a variety of sweet and savory baked goods. In addition, there are a few lunch/dinner items on the menu, such as bowls, wraps, and sandwiches. There is an underground free 15 minute parking option if you intend to grab your order and go; however, we stayed for 2 hours and paid $2/hr. There is an all day parking option for $6. I just love what this place is doing. Hopefully, we can attend an event or get to volunteer within the community space in the future.

I absolutely love the vibe of this place. I'm impressed by their commitment to fair trade and sustainable efforts. Love that there are volunteers and that there are youth opportunities. Food was great. Vegan, so easy to get things without worrying about allergens. The atmosphere is relaxed and internet is great. Lattes were a win for me! Thank you

Fantastic cappuccino and a really well laid out interior that is comfy, bright and welcoming. Only downside is the lack of food options. It's not a restaurant, so I understand, but because they are fully vegan, those who follow a keto/low carb lifestyle are essentially S.O.L. I'd still happily go back for another cup as it's a great alternative to Starbucks and other established chains.

This community space and the baristas are very welcoming and friendly. They have a good selection of drinks, pastries, and snacks. Baristas make sure the place is tidy and organized. Washrooms are clean and fresh too. For food, I ordered the chocolate chip banana bread and they kindly heated it up for me. I also got hot chocolate, and wish it was hotter, but both drinks and food were tasty. It's a bright space, where everyone can come in and work, study, and hang out. I will definitely be back!!

The first thing you notice when entering this cute little cafe is the lovely people working/volunteering here. They are some of the sweetest folks and will explain to you they're mission and why they do what they do. The menu is light be well thought out and the cupcakes are amazing! Definitely a place to visit and support for the good work they're doing.

Decent cup of coffee, yummy vegan goodies, and a community hub? Yes please! I've been coming here sporadically for the last three years, more frequently now though. This place is excellent for getting work done, meeting with friends, and getting involved in the community. I personally haven't attended any events but they always have events and initiatives going on! Check out their website for a full monthly calendar on what's happening 😁

AMAZING! Finally a place that has a fully vegan menu (including drinks and desserts) in Mississauga. The place is very cozy and relaxing, come try it, you won't be disappointed

Vegan not for profit café. Cute. Great concept. Friendly staff. Very community oriented. Many community friendly events that are either free or small charges to keep the café running (or for materials if it's a creation workshop). The menu is not huge, but has some interesting selections. I had the grilled cheeze and coconut curry soup, both were quite delicious, and the notella (not a typo) latte. The latte is made with your choice of unsweetened coconut or soy milk, I'm not a huge fan of drinking coffee, and it is very much like a coffee rather than a latte.

The place is gorgeous and great for a meetup. The staff are also friendly. Not too crazy about their coffee though. Ordered flat whites with cashew and coconut milk. Could be me but they didn't taste good and the cashew was especially awful. The coffee itself was weak. The place looked good though.

This is my new favorite spot! Well prepared coffee's, tea and snack options. Love the decor! But best of all... its a vibe! Big open space, not too loud, usually full of quiet people in their zone doing work and enjoying a treat (at least when I've been there). I really get the vibe that its a space dedicated to more then just coffee time, which I think is rad. The fact that their intention is to help People, Animals and the Planet makes me want to support them on its own. We couod use more of this. Nice furniture and snacks don't hurt😋. I saw on their website they hold community centered events from time too time which is cool. Highly recommend you check them out, you'll probably see me there lol.

Very cozy and comity little cafe. Good place to sit and hangout. Everything is vegan. Chia seed bagel and chocolate zucchini muffin were good.
