Wish I could give 0 stars. They lack the most important thing needed in all gyms, hygiene/ cleanliness…no one and I mean no one cleans after themselves or whips machines down. I don’t even think the employees clean up in the morning or at night after closing. Not even the personal trainers training customers clean up or teach their customers to whip down machines after each use. Never have I ever in my life gotten a rash but after 2 days of attending this gym I am now getting rashes on my hands. After speaking with the front desk about it he basically looked at me like I’m a mad man and did nothing about it. Only regret is I prepaid the full year so I can’t cancel. This is other than the stench of B.O while in the gym. Nasty

*** AVOID THIS GYM *** Only redeeming factor of going to Crunch is the cost is comparatively low. With that being said, that shouldn't be the reason that you have to have a terrible experience with broken equipment at every turn. I've been to Fit4Less previously for a year, which is similarly priced, and never had an issue with their equipment. Main Cons: - No support when contacted online - Majority of machines are broken (in some way) at all times - Cable attachments have exposed steel wire - Washrooms are never clean - Really weird layout

Poor and dishonest management, unclean ladies locker room and poor overall customer service. I would not recommend this gym to my worst enemy. You are better off paying more and getting better return on your money. LA fitness or Good Life will be my next stop.

The gym is obviously one of the cheaper gyms around which helps out its rating. The staff is also kind and the other members seem just as kind. A big plus is they have a nice functional woman's section that is pretty clean. However, generally many machines don't work and there is no effort to keep the place clean. You can blame it on the cheap price but there are other affordable gyms with better quality for the cost.

I started going to this gym about 10 years ago now, and it used to be great! Sadly, however, it seems that the gym has just gone downhill the past few years; the wash/change rooms are always unclean and the floors are disgusting, many machines are broken, the pool feels barely maintained, etc. One of the most appealing things about this gym was the fact that it had a women's only section, however, that no longer exists; even when it did, over the years the section became more and more sad (e.g., capping weights, more broken machines, missing dumbbell sets, etc). Actually, the gym itself feels like its integrity is wearing... I will always remember about 4-5 years ago when I was on an elliptical, and someone upstairs (the women's section was on the first floor) dropped a weight so hard that the room shook and a piece of metal (like a cover from a sprinkler) went flying off the ceiling and somehow managed to dodge everyone there. When I picked it up and told the front desk what happened, they did not seem phased; it's almost as it they're used to this stuff. Now, I have switched to a gym where I pay $90 a month, but at least there I can get my money's worth... It's just sad to see what this gym has become.

Regarding the Mississauga location, the downsizing that took place the last couple of months left the members especially the females devastated. Small unappealing room for the fitness classes instead of the big room. The entire close-down of the women section. One star because of the above. Five stars ⭐️ because of Rudy’s classes that are always always excellent. He is the main reason we still go to this gym.

Great place to work out. Good price for a monthly gym membership. People are nice and friendly. My personal trainer named Deepti was very kind and encouraging. She helped me with reaching my personal goals. She comes up with something new to do every week so that it’s not the same boring thing every time.

This gym is OK. It is missing a lot of bench press bars. I have to go all around the gym to find 1 if I want to do bench press. Please, buy some more of these bars (how do these even go missing?). Also, very few bench press machines. If you like to bench press, you may consider a different gym.

This place tried to scam me. I got a letter in the mail stating I owe them $3200 after not paying my gym bill. I never had a membership here ever. What happened was back in 2012 when Premier Fitness went bankrupt they illegally sold their client's accounts to Crunch Fitness without my concent or knowledge. Crunch Fitness then had the audacity to send me a collection notice in the mail. When I called the creditor to rectify their mistake, they said I must make a payment now, which I did not thankfully. Based on the statute of limitations, I was exempt, however if I gave them a penny, I'd then be responsible for the whole bill. In order to squash this I was told to go into the gym and talk to the manager. I go in and this god awful woman tries to intimidate me further, blaming me for this mishap. Once she finally accepted that I wasn't the one to F with, she agrees to close the account. Then she had the audacity to ask if I actually wanted a gym membership with them lmao. Watch yourselves, this place is shady.

This is very low standard branch of crunch fitness. Their Floors, changing rooms, lockers are so dirty like they haven't been cleaned since decades. They always have "crunch" of machine cleaning liquid and paper towels which lasts for months. People will say not to expect more with $10 per month gym but they don't know instead of 100 , 200 people would be there in gym during peak hours. Cherry on top, they don't keep air-conditioning on , it feels so hot and sweaty once you reach in gym without doing workout. Even front desk people keep gym doors open to get fresh air during summer. Once machine is broken , it will never be fixed. People also uses machines so badly, no one there to monitor. Not sure if owners reads reviews but if you do then requesting at least keep air conditioning on and have basic supplies of cleaning stuff..To compensate cost, Switch off TVs and radio as no one is interested in them.

Was charged for my membership during the lockdown. Reached out to cancel and get a refund but was ignored. Emailed through the website, no response. Called the Mississauga location and explained. Sent an additional email with all details. I have received no response and continue to be charged monthly to this day. 4 attempts to cancel and ask for refund have been ignored. No regard for their members whatsoever. I will be pursuing further action for my refund and cancelation.

Absolutely atrocious cancellation policies. They've lied to me, telling me that my account will be cancelled, and it didn't end up getting cancelled. Led to charges being added to my account. they don't allow phone cancellation either...I moved to a different country and they wouldn't allow me to cancel. I'm never signing up with Crunch fitness again. Staff is friendly, but this level of dishonesty hurts. It's made me lose trust in them and trust in the company.

My Personal Experience with my personal trainer Deepti is Excellent. She is best at what she does. After each training, I always look forward to another training session with her. For every training I do with her, she goes extra mile to educate me on right exercises to do in the gym and also at home( including the Right Nutrition)as well . Thanks so much 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

The Crunch facility being reviewed is the one located on Millcreek, Mississauga. This place would be a 3 star, but I'm giving it 1 star. Equipment are old and its not being kept in proper working order and worn equipments aren't being replaced. As long as I have been coming to this gym (pre/post pandemic) the men's washroom is pretty nasty, smells of urine all the time. Outside of the gym in the parking lot, it's pretty dirty also, parking lot always full of garbage. I've brough the issues to management's attention and nothing has been done, so pretty much I just go in and get out as fast as I can. Now I work out at other locations just to avoid this place. Even after a good work out, it still has negative vibes. Staff are nice and courteous, They get 4 stars. Price for membership are great, 5 stars.

Equipment barely repaired or working. Steam room broken 90% of the time. No one picks up the call during working hours (called 4 times on a Tuesday at 11am). Sad to see a good gym being turned upside down because of greedy owners.

My experience with Crunch is good so far. I remember last year when i took the membership at crunch and was wondering about how to use equipments and do weight exercises. I was requesting for personal trainer and it was my goodluck that Alan connected me with Deepti. Deepti was my personal trainer and my experience with her was amazing. She is friendly, patient and kind. During my weight training with her she always encouraged me in the positive way. Her knowledge on weight training and nutrition is incredible. After 6 months of training now i can go to the gym with confident and do weight training on my own. And, the credit goes to Deepti. In short words, thankyou so much Deepti to share your knowledge on exercise and nutrition.

I'm giving them five stars, because of my amazing trainer, Deepti Mahto. She's not just a personal trainer but also a great friend who's been my rock throughout my fitness journey. Deepti didn't just hand me a generic plan; she really took the time to understand my body type, energy levels, and overall health. She adapted my plan as needed, making sure it was always in sync with my body's requirements at any given time. She went the extra mile, researching and creating a custom diet and workout plan just for me. Since I first met her, I've felt healthier, more energized, and more comfortable in my own skin. What makes her special is that she's not just professional but also genuinely caring, putting her clients' well-being as her top priority!

Cheap gym but you get what you pay for. Equipment is often out of order and takes forever to get fixed. Not all the benches have Olympic Bars so you need to wait for someone or try to snag one very often. Still for the money I don't think you will find anything cheaper and if you go during off peak hours it's not too bad. Would recommend for any students trying to get a cheap meambership at a gym.

Thank you Crunch fitness for the wonderful experiences. Alan, you are a wonderful person. Thank you for the best price you offered me for my personal training classes. Thank you Miguel, my legs don’t wiggle anymore while lifting. Thank you Edward, I did my personal best in squats. And finally, thanks a ton Deepthi, you are a knowledge house. Thank you for all the wisdom you had given me to train the body. Without your help I would have never went back to dead lifts.

Good gym. Great if you know what you're doing and how to do it. Great for independent workouts. Generally clean, and the music is decent. The locker room could use a bit of updating, but if you are there for a quick in-and-out workout, it won't bother you. It's one of the better economical gyms in the area, and it has a working steam sauna, which is great for post-workout relaxation

Great price! Really appreciate Alan, the personal trainer manger, and Darrell and Matt my trainers. They each take the time to listen to what I want to accomplish and are really helping me to reach my goals. This is the first time I've ever been able to stick with a gym routine long term.

Love the fact that they have a women’s only area with a studio as well. Good basic equipment. Wish they could work on the Air Conditioning at the place as well as provide Wifi to really elevate the experience. Great membership deals though so I would recommend!

It's a decent place, but for a gym I would have expected the ventilation to be a lot better! Plus most of the equipment are old although usable. However, for $10/month membership and $50 annual fee it's ok.

You get what you pay for been coming here for awhile. Front desk is very friendly. However sometimes the equipment is broken, the swimming pool has no water, broken windows, lack of weights and benches during rush hour. However dumbbells do go up to 120lbs. Edit: Also my locker got broken into few months ago but luckily I didn’t have too many valuables inside only a little bit of cash. Would not recommend u leave valuables in there as its happened to others aswell and they don’t have a camera in the changeroom(which is a good thing)

I was a bit hesitant to try out this gym at first, but I'm glad I did. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and they made sure that I felt comfortable and confident throughout my workout. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated the variety of workout options available. I especially enjoyed the group fitness classes, which were challenging but also a lot of fun. Overall, I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a supportive and enjoyable workout environment. The gym is spacious and well-equipped, with a wide variety of machines and free weights to choose from. Overall, I am very satisfied with this gym and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality workout experience.

Great gym for a awesome price. I get everything I need to do done and I never wait for machines, if so it’s moments. Staff are nice and I’m not paying. 70$ a month for the exact same thing. Overall I’m getting the same outcome for a better price. Highly recommend

I've been coming to Crunch Mississauga for around a year (as well as a stint pre-pandemic) and have been happy with my overall experience. The two standouts of the gym are Paula and Bailey; always helpful and always brighten up everyone's day. They both deserve to be recognized for making the gym what it is, as it would be any other gym without them. The gym can get quite busy in the evenings, and as others have mentioned some machines old/out-of-order. Would love to see the swimming pool make a return (one day), but overall great gym, and wouldn't have it any other way.

Bailey, Bailey, Bailey. WHAT CAN I SAY?! Bailey is an absolute gem at the gym! Every time I walk in, she greets me with a warm smile and a friendly hello. Her positivity and enthusiasm are contagious, and she makes me feel right at home every time I visit. Not only is Bailey incredibly friendly and welcoming, but she is also extremely knowledgeable about the gym's services and amenities. She is always happy to answer any questions I have and provides great recommendations for workouts and classes based on my fitness goals. Bailey is also extremely organized and efficient in her work. She always has everything under control and manages to keep the gym running smoothly, even during busy times. Overall, I can't speak highly enough about Bailey and the amazing job she does as a receptionist at the gym. She truly goes above and beyond to make every member feel welcome and comfortable, and her positive energy and professionalism are a testament to her dedication to her job. If you're looking for a gym with great staff, you won't find anyone better than Bailey!

Overall I had an amazing experience with Crunch. The plans are affordable and although the gym is not extremely well kept, for the low price, it is worth it. What I can commend wholly on is the personal training. Deepti was an absolute delight in training me: she was kind and caring, went out of her way to explain and make sure I understood every movement, every exercise, and the reasons and science behind each, and even ensured I understood and had a my nutrition down as she trained me. I did a 6 month contract with her and it was worth every single penny. I’ve come out of these 6 months with an entirely new look on my fitness and health, and can see what flaws I originally had that caused me not to be able to progress in my fitness prior to learning with her. I’ve also lost inches in size, gained more muscle than ever before, and feel so much better physically. It’s literally all I wanted out of personal training, and I’m delighted that I got even more than what I expected. I came in hoping to get the understanding behind fitness so I could do it on my own after some time, and wow, did I absolutely receive. I cannot recommend her enough; she has become a dear friend and is an absolute master at her craft. Thank you so much for all your hard work and passion Deepti! <3

Overall, for the monthly price this gym is great. I do believe that it needs a few more machines to make it a complete gym such as a T-Bar Row, another Pec-Deck Machine, and another Dual Cable Station. A few more 2.5, 5 and 10 lb plates would be great as well. On the busy times such as 430pm onwards, it would be very helpful to have more of these machines and weights. Another thing this gym needs is a weighing scale, almost every other gym I have been to has a weighing scale. Not just the typical step on scale, I am referring to the Doctor scales where the weight is toggled left and right. Another comment would be the air circulation in the gym could be improved. It is always quite humid and hard to breathe when the gym is close to its capacity. The staff members at the front are very pleasant as well. They always greet myself and my wife. I have been a member at this gym for 2 to 3 years now and I will continue to be for more years to come.

When I first joined this gym in 2018 it was a 3-4 star. After Covid it has went downhill quite a bit. The hours originally were 24 hours Monday to Friday but changed during Covid due to the lockdown rules. Covid is long over and the hours still haven’t went back to the original hours, it’s still posted on the door too. One of the many reasons I joined this gym over the others in the area was for the pool. I loved the classes it had but it also closed around Covid and never reopened. Another thing is the outdated equipment. A lot of it seems to be from the 90s- early 2000s. In the women’s area gym a lot of the weights are mismatched as well. The next closest crunch gym is in Oakville which has all brand new and matching equipment, yet I’m paying the same membership price for ancient equipment. My partner decided to leave the gym as the hours never changed back and it was hard to accommodate to their schedule. If you have a question and need to email the gym regarding your membership they never email back. This giant parking lot they have (which is a plus if it’s busy) is one of the last places to get plowed after a snowstorm which makes it difficult to get in/leave if you’re lucky to get in the first place. Two positives to this gym is it’s one of like 2 gyms in the area that have a women’s only area as well as the membership is affordable.

If you're looking for a budget gym with the essentials for weight training, this gym's base plan is worth considering. The gym has a good variety of equipment, but it can get crowded during rush times in the evenings, so you may want to consider coming during off-peak hours. Overall, you get what you pay for, and the value is definitely there. It would be great if they could improve the cleanliness of the gym, as I've noticed some areas could be tidier. If you're looking for a gym that offers more specialized equipment, this might not be the best option for you, but if you're looking for a no-frills gym with a friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices, this gym is worth considering. It's also worth mentioning that the gym offers classes, which could be a great option for those looking for a more structured workout. While I haven't personally taken any classes, it's worth considering if you're interested in that kind of workout. However, my review is limited with respect to classes since I haven't used them myself.

I've been a member of Crunch Fitness for a few months now, and I can confidently say that this gym is a great fit for anyone looking for a high-quality fitness experience. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff and other members who are always willing to offer a helping hand. The gym boasts some of the best equipment I've ever used in a fitness facility. Whether I'm looking to lift weights or get in a good cardio session, there are plenty of options to choose from. The gym is always clean and well-maintained, which is a huge plus for me. The vibe at Crunch Fitness is truly unique. The environment is motivating, and everyone seems to be there to support each other. The staff is always on hand to answer any questions I have or to offer advice on my workout routine, which has been incredibly helpful. One of the things that I love about Crunch Fitness is how affordable the membership is. For the quality of the gym and the classes offered, it's really a steal. It's definitely a great value for the money.

Walking into Crunch Fitness was a great experience for me in my fitness journey. Right from the entrance, the welcoming greetings from the staff was a clear indication that they care. One of the standout features of Crunch is its spacious layout, which ensures that even during peak hours, there's enough room to move around without feeling boxed in. Moreover, the gym boasts a variety of machines and workout zones catering to different fitness levels and interests – from weightlifting enthusiasts to cardio lovers. However, they could do better with improving the maintenance of these great machines that they have. My experience with Deepti as my Personal Trainer When it comes to personal trainers, Deepti is one of the best in Crunch, if not the best. The depth of her knowledge about fitness and nutrition is evident in the way she tailors programs for each of her clients, ensuring that their unique goals and challenges are addressed. I was impressed with Deepti's genuine passion for helping others. My training with Deepti was not just about counting reps and sets; it was a holistic experience where she delves deep into understanding one's motivations and uses that as a catalyst to drive results. Her warm demeanor and infectious energy made even the most grueling workouts feel invigorating. She possesses an uncanny ability to push you beyond your perceived limits while ensuring you're always in safe hands. In short, Deepti is a beacon of inspiration, a guide, and a mentor rolled into one. If you're looking to transform your fitness journey, look no further as Deepti is the embodiment of what every personal trainer should aspire to be.

Giving a 5 star rating only to my amazing trainer Deepti-- she actually took the time to understand my body type and went above and beyond to help me with my diet along with our weekly training sessions. I only wish that this gym had better equipment that they actually took the time to fix, and that they didn't get rid of the women's section.

I had the pleasure of working with an exceptional personal trainer, Deepti. She taught me how to use each piece of equipment in the gym along with proper technique and form. She takes the time to listen to your concerns, holds you accountable, and motivates you to keep up with your fitness goals. What sets Deepti apart from the rest of the staff there is her honesty and respect for each of her clients and I felt that my time and money was valued. Deepti has had a positive impact on my fitness journey and I highly recommend this trainer!

the best gym for the price, but they’ve permanently shut down the women’s only section. very disappointing as it’s the only reason why i was there. they have an expansive upstairs section where there is a variety of machines.

My family friend recently worked here and got fired in the most disturbing way from the manager, The equipment is always broken.. I had a consultant with someone, and he didn't even bother to show super unprofessional.. I was a member since before this gym promised a women co-ed area.. I will be canceling, and letting others know that this is not a good gym..
