Planet Fitness is a great gym with a welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere. It tends to get busy from Monday to Thursday, but it is less crowded from Fridays to Sundays. They have plenty of treadmills, although the weightlifting area can be a bit small on weekdays due to high demand. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a positive gym experience.

Really nice location, more than enough machines and exercise equipment to use. It’s big enough to accommodate a full workout even when it’s busy. Its amenities are very well kept and in good condition as is the fitness equipment and machines. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, would definitely recommend joining planet fitness vs GoodLife and sh!t for less.

This Planet Fitness sits on the corner of Dundas and Erindale Station road. Is part of Westdale mall. I've been here a couple times and it's a pleasant experience. Staff is nice and polite. I like the "no clanging" of gym equipment rule. There a ton of parking outside. There's a LCBO just in front of it so you can grab some beers after. There's a pandemic going on right now so lockdown or not, keep washing those hands! Stay safe out there people!

Gym quality was okay. They don't have all the typical items you would expect in a gym like a squat rank or a proper bench rack. Service quality was poor and the customer service was not good. Watch out for the hidden fees they charge even if you use their services for a short time. I was charged an annual fee, but only had my membership for 3 months.

Worst of the worst. Kept charging me after I went in and told them to cancel my membership post lockdown since I have my own gym. They not only charged me for next 5 months and they also increased the amount they started taking out of my account. Today I went in person and the gentleman at the front desk demoy Robinson was really rude and caused a huge lineup at the front desk. Then he ignored all my questions and didn't let me add comments on my cancelation form and I still don't know if my membership is canceled or not. Absolutely horrible experience Also, he refused to provide his name. Even in the cancelation form he put his initials only. I had to call back and ask another employee. The service in quality really dipped post lockdown and terrible management. I asked for a superior and if the superior is the one responsible then who do I even go to for complaint?

Have been back about 4-5 times after not going for almost 18 months. They have done a fair job increasing spaces between machines. Would be great if they could perhaps mark where benches can go at free weight area. I've only seen an employee once go around and remind members to mask up when not at any station as per current regulations. I know it's a pain but I also believe that none of us want gyms to be closed down again. Otherwise I go during off peak times and glad to be back.

I cancelled my membership at planet fitness years ago, unfortunately I’m not a person that checks my bank statement ever. I learned my lesson the hard way. I was getting charged by planet fitness for the past 6+ years after canceling and of course without going once since I canceled. I went to the gym last week and I was told there is no proof I cancelled more than 6 years ago. $2000 out of pocket without using that gym and a cancelled membership.

It's open 24/7 and it's inexpensive; inside is also pretty clean. Non-offensive music is played, staff are friendly, parking is fine, and it's usually kept pretty clean. There's paper towels to wipe things down and hand sanitizers. There's one of those 30-minute speed workout areas, but with one of each machine, slow people can't get skipped, so you'll need to rely on the staff to monitor people are using it right. While it's a pretty decent gym for the price, the downside is that they seem to intentionally make this place a miserable experience for anyone trying to use free-weights. Very few free weights in a small space, relative to the demand for them during normal hours. Even the weight stations are hard to access during peak hours; just not enough of them given the number of members. If you're tolerant, and don't mind being close to other people, you can make it work though. Where this location excels though is if you only like using ellipticals or treadmills; there's just so many of them that even during peak-hours you can usually get a spot without much or any wait. I use this gym as an after-hours location though, so often the middle of the night -- there's still people there of course, but I can actually get a real workout in without feeling frustrated by the end of it.

Love the Gym.staff is welcoming and specially Harry is extremely helpful and polite very knowledgeable. if anyone looking for a resonable and positive gym i would highly recommend this gym they would be impressed plenty of trademill's lot's of other machines,although weightlifting areas is super cool.

They don't care if you get robbed. My husband and I go to this gym and someone broke into our LOCKED locker and stole money from his wallet. We noticed after leaving the gym. We called the front desk and they confirmed there has been an issue with lockers being broken into. They asked for our number and said the manager will call. We went in the next few days and they kept telling us the manager will call. The managers never bothered to pick up the phone! We understand things happen, but all we wanted was to speak to someone and discuss what are they doing about this situation? If it's a known fact that they have ppl robbing their clients, the least they can do is call their client back, and to be proactive in preventing or minimize this kind of crime from happening on their property. To ignore the issue is irresponsible. Yes it's clean, yes it has decent equipment, but its unfortunate that they don't care about the safety of their clients.

I joined this gym January of this year and I must say it quite nice here .but my biggest motivation comes from the trainer Kelly Kassia.she is such a hard dedicated worker,always greet you with a smile.she is very intrumental to so many patrons at this gym including myself.she goes above and beyond to make sure your doing the right exercises to what it is your trying to achieve.i join her classes a few times and feel like I got a complete workout.shes exceptional.

First I asked 6 months ago to cancel the membership and they did not by saying u can hold it and gave false informations. I went agian to cancel it and they again tricked me that uou can freeze it for unlimited time so i agreed and im being charged agian after 2 months. They won't refund these charges. Thieves. Horrible to do business with. Dishonest, don't let them at your bank account. Had to yet again try to cancel. Again, they are thieves.

The woman at the front desk was terrible. my mom passed a few months ago and so i’m on her membership and the woman at the front YELLED at us to get out. (she had curly hair and was quite big herself) and i do NOT appreciate her attitude towards me. she’s acted extremely entitled and i do not think a person like her should be working at the gym. If i ever come back and see her face there, i will take legal action.

Decent gym, lots of equipment that could use better spacing. However, I think the people who workout overnight leaving their weights and accessories all over the place is absurd. Gym staff either need to address it with members who don't rewrack the weight or pick it up when they see it laying around instead of worrying about wiping the already clean glass. Nice staff though, maybe they don't want the confrontation but major liability to have these weights all over the walking space.

It's good to be here. I am a new member and spent around a week in this one and I can say it's clean and close to transit. The gym is not crowded and you can easily check that by using the crowd meter on the PF app. The one downside is that they don't have a platform for deadlifts and you can do only on the smith machine.

Been going here for a couple of weeks now: great gym! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the gym atmosphere is very pleasant. Everything is usually pretty clean, and even in rush hours, you never have to wait more than a couple of minutes for any equipment. With the exception of the free weight section that is; recommendation to management, expand the free weight section. Overall, really great gym with great value!

The staff are super nice and welcome at this gym and if you can put a smile on their face, you essentially become their gym family, and the same goes with all the regulars at this gym just takes a bit of time to get to know them but people at this gym are always happy for a conversation. The workers take good care of cleaning and sanitizing this gym day shift or night shift and every time I swing on by the gym is always organized. I would totally recommend this gym for the newbie, vets and for guys or girls who just need a hand with working out. If you become a regular you'll have some great people to meet here☺️

People at night shift are really nice kudos yo them. In day shift people are a little rude, not welcoming, not even say hi just scan your card and vaccine stuff. I’m not saying it’s bad but if they’d be more friendly and nice and welcoming it would be better.

I've only just started going to this gym, this location but so far it's fantastic. It is always clean and the staff are amazing . I honestly can't say enough about them... everyone is so polite and helpful any time I've been there.

Great price-quality-service. Machines are new, great condition and cover all muscle groups. The gym is about 15-25% capacity, so very relaxed, no need to wait or share machines, weights or benches. Gym is kept clean. Tanning rooms and massage chairs could be cleaner. Overall great gym!

I went into the gym to inquire about getting a membership. The lady behind the counter was very friendly, informative and helpful. She explained to me what was included with each membership type what the gym had to offer and how to signup online. She also let me know about the refer a friend promotion. I called my friend whom already had a membership and signed up the same day. The gym was bright, clean and the equipment well taken care of.

Dirty locker room. Dirty rest room. I didn’t see a water fountain available. Not one clientele that I noticed sanitized the machines after use. It’s truly a gym for crum bums. Not all PFs are like this. This one is just nasty.

Surprisingly good. There's a stigma surrounding Planet Fitness: annoying members doing odd workouts, very strict rules, the obnoxious lunk alarm ringing every so often - but honestly, this location has none of that. The people there are mostly easy going and nice. The rules are not strict, I see and hear people grunt and slam weights but I have never heard the lunk alarm go off in 4 months of working out here. I'm pretty sure if you're being very disruptive they'll speak to you, but that's their job. It's also very clean and generally well maintained. All in all, pretty good.

Super clean new machines amazing staff and so many designated areas to do different workouts. And it's so reasonable for the services provided. I would definitely recommend this gym.

Decent place for people that are new to workout, but the main issue is the lack of maintenance. If a machine, cable, or any equipment breaks, it takes MONTHS to have them fixed. 'Awaiting parts' is definitely not an excuse. I've seen equipment that a simple screwdriver would had it fixed, instead, they just wait...

This is a very nice gym, however I feel there could be more machines as there are times where there is only one of a certain type of machine in the whole gym and then there ends up being a line because everyone wants to use this. Examples include the linear leg press and the pec fly machine. I also think there could be a few more of the smith machines since those are almost always all full. Overall a decent gym just a little over crowded at times

This gym smells so bad!! I don’t recommend it. The front desk people don’t do anything all day, they could AT LEAST be cleaning the machines and the washrooms (always disgusting), go around to check if the sanitizers or the paper towels need to be replaced. They don’t. Everyday there is a new machine broken and it takes weeks to be fixed. Not worth the low price.

Currently using the free youth summer pass to workout. For free I have no complaints but if I was to pay, the smith machines don’t allow me to hit my full workout. Please change policy and add free weight

I recently moved to the Port Credit area and was looking for a gym nearby. I met with Ariel and right away I knew I wanted to join this gym. She was very helpful and professional. She showed me around the gym and it’s facilities and just by her enthusiasm, I knew I had to join. I signed up today and I am looking forward to being a long standing member at this club. Every month drinking water tap got problem, really disappointed with this service, i dont know what is management doing, sometimes looks like its a nice trick to sell the fridge's water bottle....

Have been coming here for a few years now and I’m really happy. It’s a basic gym but they have everything you need! It is really affordable, staff is always friendly and it’s super clean! Can get a little busy at peak times, but you’re always able to have a good workout! Will keep going to this gym!

I have similar experience as other had before about cancellations. I personally went there to the location and cancelled the membership but when I check my bank account after 3- 4 months they are still withdrawing monthly payment from bank account. I talked to the manager and he was saying that it was not cancelled. Still it was my mistake because they doesn't know how to cancel membership or they know how to make money. It looks everything purposefully when reached out to the same incident on google. Thank you all of you who wrote reviews because they think it is easy to make money and they doesn't care about your situations.

Took in a workout with my husband and daughter over the Christmas break. Nice size gym with a lot of equipment to choose from for a variety of workouts. Some circuit training stations, hip and ab stations, stretching areas, free weights. Clean locker room. Friendly staff. Wi-Fi.

Huge gym with all kinds of equipment. It’s hard to decide which ones to use. Impossible to use all the gym equipment. Now through August 31st, teens between the ages of 14-19 can work out for free all summer long!

The staff are generally friendly and greet you at the reception. Equipments are plenty but a bit old. The areas are always clean. I usually use the gym in early mornings or weekend afternoons. The parking lot needs repair, and I don't know if lighting is good at night. There is a pedestrian crosswalk from the parking lot to the gym entrance, but the painting is gone, and cars don't always stop or yield even when you are on the crosswalk.

There's tons of machines so you're not kept waiting. 24hr access so if I can't sleep and am restless I can go whenever. And you honestly don't feel judged at all. Everyone from teenagers to seniors are there. With the added bonus that teens 14-19yrs old have free access all summer

Nice as usual...very clean and spacious...but I did notice my favorite leg machine has been broken for about 3 moths..now there is a second machine down

Very good fitness center, happy to have one so close to home. Mostly kept clean, many machines so you rarely have to wait for one. However it would be nice if they would expand the free weight section in favour of some of the cardio machines; the most I've ever seen is 50% of the cardio machines being used, while the dumbbell section is reliably overcrowded at all times except when the gym is almost empty as a whole at like 3am.

I have a membership in the USA although I don't have a black card when I go to other planet fitness out of state, I pay a franchise fee and still get to work out. Here in Canada they said they are privately owned and that I would need to buy a membership at this gym to work out. I tried explaining that if I paid the $5 fee and went 3-4 times a week, then they would get $15-$20/week and up to $60-$80 a month. Since I was going to be in the area for 6 weeks, then this was a good deal for them but paying for a yearly membership then paying for a month just to cancel when I was going to return to the USA just seemed stupid to me so planet fitness in Canada gets a zero. I hope that if Canadians who work out in the USA are told the same and denied the opportunity to work out unless they join the club in the USA.

I've found the team in this PF very pleasant and helpful. It's a good gym if you just want to get in work out and go. Cleanliness is huge for me, so it's good on that front. Well done to every Planet fitness team member and special shout out to Tatiana & Christia for always being exceptional.

The staff are often seen chatting amongst each other and on their phones and neglecting the gym. The washroom is left unattended to and is very unclean. The washroom lacked one of the soap dispensers. Trash was spread everywhere in the washroom making it unsightly. Throughout the club the hand sanitizer dispensers are often empty especially the one in the change room. There should be a clean log in the washroom in which an employee comes by hourly to check up on the state of the washrooms and signs off on a log instead of signing onto Tiktok. Management is lacking and the franchise owner/head office should be made aware that the staff are not doing their jobs. They prefer to scroll on their phones and ignore the gym. I know it's Mississauga but still make an effort. I have included pictures. Please make an effort to fill soap and sanitizer dispensers and sweep. You will gain some self respect if you try.

Her confrontational approach, coupled with a power-trip attitude, starkly contrasted the gym's "judgment-free zone" promise, creating a hostile environment. This was exacerbated when my membership was inexplicably cancelled at the Brampton branch (5 Resolution Dr), with staff providing no clear explanation, only vague references to my file. The manager's demeanor—marked by aggressive gestures and a dismissive tone—was not only unprofessional but also publicly humiliating. It's disheartening to witness such an authoritative stance over fostering a welcoming atmosphere, which significantly tainted my experience and has led me to reconsider my continued patronage of this establishment. This feedback, while critical, is shared in the hope of prompting the management to address these issues earnestly, thereby improving the overall customer experience and aligning with the values Planet Fitness professes to uphold.
