My husband and I were looking for a local coffee shop (and an ethical joint) ever since we decided to boycott other multinational coffee franchises. We came across this lovely gem and I’m happy to say that we have become regulars. It’s bright and open, the service is top notch, and the food and drinks are exceptional. I personally really like the Nutella lathe and the salted caramel mocha. Will come here again and again!

Found a hidden gem on the corner of Hurontario Street and Dundas. The service here is cozy and welcoming. Ambiance, the kind that wraps you in a warm coffee hug. We tried the Chai Tea and Caramel Mocha Latte – both very well made. The Chai Tea perfectly spiced and tasty with a touch of oat milk and brown sugar. The Caramel Mocha was a decadent dance of caramel and chocolate, very rich and very smooth. Paired these with a warm, wild blueberry scone made the perfect trio for a delightful afternoon pick-me-up. Halo Expresso Bar, you've won my coffee-loving heart. ☕💖 Mississauga, you've got a coffee haven in your midst!

This is a really cozy spot! I had their Nutella latte and it was made perfectly. It was flavorful and not too sweet. The staff were friendly and it didn't take long for drinks to be mad. The Cafe is clean and has lots of seating making it easy to sit and study or hang out

The best locally owned coffee shop in Mississauga. There definitely are not enough gems like this in the city. Been a long time customer. 5/5

It's a beautiful cafe with wifi service. We had nice coffee , croissant, cheese sandwich. Food is good and so the host. It's a nice cozy place to catch up with friends or have a cup of coffee while working.

My only stop for hot chocolate and coffee before my classes. A very calming atmosphere, good coffee and other drinks, and nice interior. This is a good place to study or chill with friends. Tasteful choices of songs. The baristas are always friendly. Prices are reasonable.

My boyfriend and I have been here a few times and love the coffee & drinks we have ordered. My boyfriend recently ordered the kinder latte & LOVED it! The warm atmosphere and calm vibe makes for a perfect study/work cafe! Vegan milk options available for drinks but only a bagel with peanut butter for vegan food options.

Very disappointed with the service. You get your food and coffee in cheap disposables. I would rather go to tims and have same coffee for $2 instead of $7 if getting this kind of service. When askes for a plate and a cup they said our dishwasher is broken. Just an excuse. I do not recommend.

Well located, cozy atmosphere and the best coffee served with a smile. Our first time there, recommended and accompanied by friends . The place was nearly full, had a lively vibe and the coffee was just amazing. The drive down to Mississauga was definitely worth it. 👍

Above average local coffee shop. Their specialty drinks are ok, bakery tastes like store-bought ones, and regular coffee is fine. They aren't in a prime location so seating and parking would be available. Nothing spectacular but the price seems reasonable and the staff works quickly.

Neighbourhood coffee joint that roasts its own beans and also has offerings of food and non coffee beverages. Looks very popular with the locals.

A cozy café with a variety of options. I love that they also have dairy free options for those who need it. Extremely friendly staff!

Coffee was good but the cafe was overcrowded when we visited. One of the baristas had no mask on at all as he worked behind the counter. I understand indoor dining is open and people can have mask off to eat/drink but many people just walking around/playing board games had no mask on. Cup lids and condiments are left out in the open where everyone gets to touch them which isn’t sanitary. Overall, we didn’t feel safe visiting here due to poor covid safety practices.

Best coffee shop at Cooksville. I always go here to work on stuff (they have free wifi) and get drinks or snacks on the side. I have tried many of their drinks and liked them all. I personally like their Matcha Latte best. The atmosphere of this place is cozy and always clean unlike other coffee shops. The staff are nice and quick to serve.

Fantastic coffee shop. Plenty of space on a Saturday to get some work done, and much quieter than other places. 2 hour parking limit in the area, so plenty of time for a great latte! Wifi is solid here too. Worth battling the construction in the area. Will definitely visit again. 💯

The vibes, amazing, there’s wifi/access to plugs everywhere, the seating and the place is beautiful! The staff are very kind and apologetic when there is wait time which I appreciate and understand as their coffee is freshly made and I can see how that can take time! I wish there was a few more tables/chairs as a lot of people seem to frequent the place! I tried their iced coffee and I personally liked it (more coffee flavour than sweetener/flavour) you can add flavours like vanilla for $0.70 and sometimes I do add it! I also tried their grilled cheese and really liked it (it came with salsa, ask for it on the side instead of on it!! Less mess as suggested by one of the baristas :) A little over priced imo!

Excellent coffee. Side sweets are nice. Bad policy to serve in disposal cups one hour before closing. Also closed one hour earlier. Still recommend because of coffee.

First time here. Very impressed. Diana was awesome. Great service, smile that lit up the place. Nice fresh bagel and incredible medium roast. Just the right amount of butter and great start to the day. Diana deserves a special callout for fantastic service. Thank you.

My husband and I wanted to try this cafe and we drive by it everyday. I got a cortado and a pecan square and my husband got a machiatto and a biscotti. Coffee was amazing and quality of coffee was impressive. Atmosphere of the cafe is so laid back and comfortable. Will visit again definitely!

Great place for lattes, ice coffee & espresso. The space is so comfy & inviting. But the drinks always take long to make it might be because there is only one barista working. There is a few street parking but parking is limited.

A cafe with a great aesthetic in the Mississauga core feels few far between. The coffee was good and customer service was friendly. There is a variety of seating from lounge-like to classic tables, and large communal style. Unfortunately there’s ton of construction in the area as of this review; access to parking can be found on the first driveway on Dundas, west of Hurontario. I would definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

First time visit. Looks very nice as this kinds of calm atmosphere is rare in restaurants around this area. I think I need to try other food next time. I had a bagel and caramel machiato.

Excellent coffee. I had an Americano black so you can really taste its quality. I don’t know what kind of beans they use but the coffee was really well balanced and without bitterness. Sat by the window and enjoyed the coffee while listening to a podcast.

This place is so unbelievable. I recently moved to the area and came across place while checking everything out. I went in once and loved it, and go so often now that the employees know my name haha. The service is 10/10 and so is the actual coffee and food. Such a great place if you want to relax, do work, study etc. Delicious coffee and other drinks for decent prices. I highly recommend this place and will be regularly coming here for a long time. I'm actually fanatical about this place so I will fight and die for this place if they receive anything other than a good 5/5 review. Diana, Ethan, and Sonya (I'm so sorry if I mispelt that) make the place even better. I'm glad I'm friendly with them, as they are some of the friendliest people I've met. In short, go here now, and always support independent places that deserve it, such as this one.

Halo Espresso Bar, is a great coffee place. Been there for the first time and enjoyed every bit of my time, I ordered for Corned Beef Chorizo Panini and Iced Americano both were yummylicious. Totally in love with the ambience and calm atmosphere to study/work and have fun. The only addition should be in menu for more delicious food. Apart from that It's going to be my go to place for sure..
