I came here after a friend had recommended the place to me and suggested the calamari. I ordered the calamari. Once I got to the car I opened the box to check the order and was shocked by the portion size. I have never received such a small portion from any establishment, even my friend who was a long time customer and recommended the calamari was surprised by the amount, and this was at a 13 dollar price point not including tax. I went to the manager to bring up the issue and he said "sorry that's the portion size, each portion is weighed out at 200 grams". I left back home and weighed the portion, it was 102 grams as you can see in the photo. When I went back to the restaurant to once again to bring up the issue, this time with photo evidence that the portion was indeed smaller and ask for more calamari, the manager was extremely unprofessional, rude, and even acted confrontational as if this were to escalate to a physical altercation saying phrases like "who do you think you're talking to like that" and needless to say would not make any amends to the situation. All he could say was "that's the portion size". I have never had a manager who acted so unprofessional. He even kept telling me he is the owner (which I found hard to believe given his lack of professionalism). Even when I showed him the photo of the scale with 102g as a measurement, he would not admit their mistake nor make any steps towards rectifying the situation. This was the worst service I have ever experienced anywhere by far. I visited at 1:00 am on Wednesday Mar. 30. Absolutely ridiculous. I hope the real owner looks into this and fires that self proclaimed "owner".

Awesome place. The $4 drinks are a big hit. Also tried the nachos.. amazing! Update: returned to the wave today! Haven't been in over 2 years. Tried the deluxe burger, fish and chips, and NY steak, all excellent 👌. The service is always pleasant and the patio was organized and clean. Excellent prices, excellent food, good service and environment. Keep it up! Thank you.

Tried The Wave Bar and Lounge near Square One. The experience was average , the salad we ordered was not fresh. Service is ok. Overall mediocre experience. Pricing is ok, between cheap and expensive.

I went here yesterday for a speed dating event. The ticket said it started 7pm and ended at 1am, we arrived closer to 8pm and it didn't start yet. There was no organization for this event, you could see people come in, not know what's going on and leave. The tickets said 22+ yet when you entered the establishment it was quite the sight to see. As you entered there was a group of young women with young children, toddlers and babies sitting by the tables near the bar. On the other side of the bar, sitting outside on the patio, were some young men. Turns out they were all together yet sitting separately. The husband's sat outside, while the mothers that were barely watching their screaming kids were sitting inside. That is a super bad visual. Imagine going in thinking you are going to attend a fun singles event and most of the people in the bar were loud abnoxious families with small kids. The organizers had two postings with different times, my ticket said one thing while another ticket holder said her invite said something else for start times. No one was helping people waiting for the event, people came, saw this group, probably thought they were part of the event and left because who brings their kids to a 22+ event? I will never come here again, it was a waste of time and it felt like a scam since if you asked staff they kept saying that they think the event will start soon. It was mentioned a couple times. The only saving grace was that the bartender and staff were very nice and apologetic. It's not their fault the event organizer doesn't know how to do their job and run an event. Probably the reason why it was free. I would have given this experience a 1 star but the staff was nice and when I accidentally spilled my drink the bartender was quick to assist. I appreciate that. If this establishment runs any events in the future, like the one they tried to run, I hope you learn what not to do by reading this review. Everything stated are true facts.

I come here all the time. Today was so bad I order calamari got like 5 pieces. My friend got wings he didn’t want to waste food, he asked for to go box and they won’t let him take the two pieces of wings. So they threw it in the garbage in-front of us. Not only that, the bartender and the server some tall black lady was so rude and had so much attitude. It’s disgusting how a restaurant/bar can do this to a regular customer very disappointed. I do not recommend this place .

Unreal experience, multiple times. I have been here for date nights, sporting events and for work gatherings I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience and the food is great. Their service has always been amazing, great drinks and best part is the portion size for the money. Excited to come back!

Great food with a great atmosphere! Came here for taco Tuesdays and will definitely be coming back for some more. Good portion size and a variety of food options. My friends and I have visited multiple times and we always leave satisfied with the customer service.

I went to The Wave last week with some friends and we had an absolutely AMAZING time. The food, drinks and service were all great and I had no complaints at all. They are definitely one of the best bars to hit up in Mississauga. Make sure you check them out!

Me and my friends came to dine at the Wave tonight. We had a really unfavorable experience. My friend asked for a take out box for the 3 remaining wings he had ordered from the dine in special so that we would not waste the food. The server said no and they threw out the wings. As a restaurant you really shouldn't waste food like that. Especially food that was paid for. The calamari was also a very small portion and the sauces came after the food came. Will not be returning.

I encountered a significant issue at this establishment, as I repeatedly communicated to the waiter, Ian, about my severe allergy to all forms of onions and onion powder. Despite his assurances that the dish I ordered was free from any trace of onions, I trusted him. Unfortunately, I fell ill, necessitating the use of my EpiPen due to a tightening throat and subsequent vomiting. My birthday experience was adversely impacted, and I appreciate your careless attention to this matter, Ian.

Convenient location is about all. Really nice atmosphere and ecstatic. Been here a couple times, service isn’t the greatest. Waited quite some time for initial service and drink top ups. Food is decent, a little slow to come out. Feel free to try it for yourself, maybe your experience will be better than ours.

Went here because it was close to our hotel. I had my dog and they refused to let him on the patio, understandable. We decided to order takeout. I ordered the blackened chicken. It was more of an unseasoned grilled chicken that was dry and lacklustre. At least my potatoes tasted good…. As it was literally the only thing I ate from my $20 meal. My mom got wings and I asked to try one because I was still hungry.. They tasted stale and rubbery. I don’t know if they just have extremely old product and aren’t rotating sauces properly, but everything tasted like it was made yesterday… If I could give them a 0 star rating I would.

Really spacious location. Fast service we went on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too busy. I recommend the California sliders. It’s only an appetizer, but it’s really filling. Didn’t feel the need to get an entrée because I was so full.

Good variety of food! I always love their jalapeño poppers. Customer service is good. Good ambience as well. I won’t say extraordinary but it was a good experience. It’s a good place to hangout with friends once in a while.

I ordered Diet Coke here and it tasted so diluted. Legit worse Diet Coke I’ve ever tasted and I order this stuff literally every meal. I had to order specifically canned Diet Coke in order for it to be drinkable. So bad. I only drank half of the glass because I’m thirsty when I walked in, otherwise I wouldn’t have drink any of that stuff which I couldn’t even call Diet Coke at that point.

Had my birthday party there yesterday and was blown away with the organization and welcoming nature of the staff! The owners came out to greet me and made sure all my guests were taken care of. Highly recommended!!!

I always have a great experience here! The staff are super friendly and they have great daily specials and happy hour. Lots of seating and a large outdoor patio with the option of sitting at the bar.

We were there 2 times. First visit was really nice at the Saturday evening, we had really nice waitress and everything was good. The second time was valentine evening and we get 2 dirty glass to wine with someone’s lipstick! That’s horrible.. after waitress change glass was still dirty but less. Really the workers can’t have a look on their work? Disappointing then

Honestly favourite spot in the GTA to introduce my friends and family to. I come here so often because it never disappoints! Amazing food drinks, staff, and atmosphere. Recommend the wavy chicken on rice!

Good place for drinks- so many options for cocktails and shots! The apps were pretty good I had the trio dip, some of my other group members had some concerns with their mains- but it was corrected!

Really enjoyed the experience here, very clean and safe (followed all the vaccine guidelines), the wings and fries were standard bar food, our server Camille was quick and friendly with our orders, and the location (next to &Co club) allows for all your questionable decisions to happen all in one night! Definitely recommend you support this local business and please follow all appropriate guidelines.

One of the best sports bar I have visited so far. The vibe was excellent and as well as the food. All the prices are reasonable. Drinks and food both. After finding this place, I went there a couple of times, and I will continue to go there to watch matches. It is such a great place. Also, It would be excellent for per-drinking as well ;)

The chicken wrap was fine but all the food could have used a bit more protein. Service was slow but hey, they were nice! Our server came by once when we were ready to order and then ran off before we could actually order food. Its a bar and grill.

Came here tonight with a friend and I must say the customer service is trash and so unprofessional. The waitresses are just sitting down and no one is checking up until 30 mins later, our waitress seemed so uninterested and fake, the atmosphere was probably so dead due to the lack of customer service, wouldn’t recommend. If I could put 0 stars I would. It sucks because I was ready to spend money, it could’ve been a great tip as well but I guess not.

One of the best bars ever. I’ve been coming here since 2018, drinks are great. Food is great. Service is on the slow side but that’s okay. I’m here for the drinks anyway.

Wonderful place. I ordered steak, wings, fries. Steak was a bit tough but perfectly done as a medium rare. Wings are FANTASTIC! I will order again from The Wave for sure.
