This is one of the better locations for this franchise. The staff truly makes the experience all the more pleasant and welcoming. Ours was Katy and the restaurant Manager was very customer focused with accuracy of orders and their delivery time. The food and ambience of this steakhouse is good.

The restaurant does not take reservations but we could get a table right after we walked in. The service was good. The complimentary bread was really good. The menu had very less chicken items as it is primarily a steakhouse but can have more variety to encourage other customers too. We ordered chicken wings, lobster and chicken burger. All the items tasted okay and there’s more room for improvement.

Had an exceptional experience at this location. We were a party of 4 celebrating my MiL's 85th Birthday. Our server JORDAN was amazing and truly made our dining experience fantastic. She treated our party with kindness and professionalism and made my MiL feel like a queen. She was engaged with all of her patrons and you could feel the positive vibe in her section. Jordan is a true gem and a real asset to this restaurant. As always the consistency of the meal was why you go to the Keg. Our appetizers arrived hot and fresh. We were not rushed with our mains which were all delicious (ribs, salmon, prime rib and NY strip). Dessert was a special treat. I'm a fan of the Billy Miner pie but tried the chocolate cake this time- it was amazing! Overall I would say the only small thing I could criticize is the noise level. But honestly it was Saturday night, the restaurant was busy, so of course it's going to be loud. It was manageable and didn't detract from a great evening.

In my opinion they serve one of the best 10 oz Prime Rib around....I have it medium rare, oh so good. They currently have the Lobster Summer Special....huge fresh lobsters steamed to perfection. I start out with an order of Cesar Salad, then follow it up with some French Onion soup. Its a very hearty spread. Service is always good at The Keg, warm and courteous smiles all around!

My experience at another KEG location really made me have low expectations. But this KEG location knocked it out of the park with their customer service. The ambience is really good too. We started with our appetizer: Escargot, Mushroom Neptune, Baked Garlic Shrimp and Garlic Cheese Toast. I don’t know if I have anything bad to say. It was just that good! It was made to perfection. You guys have to try the Garlic toast. This is not your regular Garlic Cheese Toast, but a must try from my side. It was my first time trying Escargot and it was pretty yummy. A little warning: it’s snail... but I loved it! For our Entrees we got Prime Rib, New York Striplion, Lobster Tail dinner and Mediterranean Cauliflower. Let me start with the New York Striplion because it has a story. I asked for medium rare since I like my steak not chewy but I got mine well done. I was pretty bummed about it. I asked my server and he agreed that it’s well done. He went right away and got me another one within 10mins. Even the Chef Manager came to apologize for the mistake. I got a fresh HOT steak perfectly cooked to medium rare. I didn’t make a fuss but they took care of it right away not charging me for it. I will definitely give them an extra star if I had the option. Overall our experience, food, ambience and customer was above expectation. If you guys want to visit a keg then this location has to be on your list.

One of the best steak I ever had. Service was prompt. And the food was delicious and cooked as requested. Everyone should try the steak and the lobster if they have the specials going on. Would definitely recommend trying out this place atleast once. Will not disappoint.

Had such an amazing time at The Keg. We come to this location every year for my mom and my sisters birthday. The food is always tasty and consistent, the atmosphere is great, and the staff are so kind!

Went for dinner with friends. The restaurant is cozy environment. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly! They ensured we had a great table that would accommodate our baby and stroller. The food was excellent, I ordered the classic 12oz New York striploin and my husband ordered the classic 14oz prime time. They were cooked perfectly. For dessert we ordered brownie Sunday and the Billie minor pie. Absolutely delicious and great size to share.

We went last night for our anniversary and we made a reservation. For the appetizer we had calamari, it was very light and crunchy, the sauce was delicious and it was a good size for 5 people. The bread was so soft and fresh, came out hot it was also just the right amount of bread for our table. For my main I ordered the sirloin Oscar which had the shrimp and scallops and they were very soft and cooked to perfection. I had garlic mashed potatoes and veggies with it and I had my steak medium well. The veggies were still crunchy which was perfect, the steak was seasoned well, and it wasn’t gummy or dry. The bearnaise sauce was delicious. My only critique will be with the garlic mash, it was too overpowering and there’s a little bit of a bitter aftertaste. I gave 4 stars because The lobster my mom got was small, considering the price, it was a little disappointing. Another problem we had were the fries for both my husband and my daughter, they were old fries and just refried. My husband’s sirloin was supposed to be medium but it looked like it was well done so it was a little dry. The pasta was okay. Our server Tara was amazing though, she even gave us a free slice of billy miners pie since it was our anniversary. She played with my kids and she was very attentive to our needs. Overall a great first time experience. Still highly recommended.

We enjoyed our meal at the Keg. The server Dylan was incredible. Made our 5th anniversary dinner amazing. They were prompt with our food and drinks even when it was very busy. They cooked our steaks perfect to our liking and whatever type of bread they serve was so delicious.

The place has a nice quit place under dim lights. The dinner menu is limited to mainly steaks and no variety for vegetarian. The are good. For a party of 4, you will spend about 250.0 and that's without drinks.

From the moment we arrived being greeted by lovely welcoming hosts and greeted by Devon with amazing friendly and fun service we so enjoyed our 2 hour time together celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary ❤️. Our meals, refreshments and cheese cake we took home spoiled us and look forward to coming back. John & Debbie PS would suggest cheese on the escargot and less curry spice of some sort. Never had that flavour before on escargot, strange. Would not recommend escargot. All else, great 👍

Had a lovely date night dinner here. Haven’t been to The Keg in over 3 years and we were so excited to return. Server was lovely! Cocktails were good as was the wine! Menu has excellent choices as always. We ordered a bone in ribeyes, garlic mashed with a lobster tail. Delicious! Very pleased as always.

Our steaks were great, very tender and cooked as requested. Service was good, we prereserved a table on line which was great as we were located far away from the entrance in a quieter area. Veggies tasted good but were much cooler than expected from a place like the Keg. Always love to share a piece of Billy Miner pie.

Had calamari and mushroom dip to share. Calamari is meh. Mushroom dip really good, ended up dipping calamari in the mushroom dip. For the main course, had the baseball top sirloin and spent more time sawing the steak than eating. Not recommended.

came here for an anniversary dinner with no reservations so, wait was expected. longer than usual but, the dining experience was absolutely worth it. had pagers to inform you your table's ready. all the staff were awesome! special mention to our server, Jessica, who's patient, attentive, and sweet! it may be the establishment's practice to give out complimentary treats for customers celebrating a special occasion, however, the way she segued to offering us a dessert of our choice for us to take home after we requested for our bill and a take out box (the wife was too full to finish her meal), was simply put, one class act! that gesture by the dream team managing this location, genuinely was a pleasant surprise! prior to this happy ending, the journey to it was full of delight-- from the nice, warm bread and butter, to the different servers (with Jess being our main) who brought our appetizers, salads, and mains (all amazing, btw)...everything came out like a perfectly orchestrated symphony -- timing was never rushed nor was it too slow in between. uncertain if it's their standard to have different servers for every dish, or if it's just them doing it as a team to help each other out during the busy dinner schedule. surely though, that dynamic amongst the staff played out perfectly! excellence at its finest!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Keg, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of perfectly grilled steaks set the tone for what turned out to be a delightful evening.The dim lighting, contemporary decor, and cozy seating create an intimate atmosphere that is perfect for a dinner after work. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The steaks were seasoned just right, allowing the natural flavors to shine through. As I'm not a wine person, I had watermelon cosmo and it's the best!

Went to this location of the Keg last night (our usual location is Burlington but it’s closed for renovations) for my birthday dinner with my husband. Unfortunately (but not the end of the world) my steak did not come as I had ordered, however, the customer service is outstanding. The manager offered to replace it (I declined because I didn’t want to waste it), but he did everything possible to make it better and to make sure I was happy. Our server Kyle was probably one of the best servers we’ve ever come across. He suggested some amazing food and was very honest. very attentive and went above and beyond. The bar manager brought out our bottle of wine and she was very sweet and helpful also. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and our experience and will definitely return to this location.

Came here with my cousin today for the first time, and we had such a great time. We go out for food quite often, and we’ve had some bad food and service at other restaurants. The food was fantastic, to start with we ordered the shrimp cocktail and calamari, but our amazing server Caroline brought us the house bread with the butter that also has cheese…. Let me tell you, that bread is so fluffy and soft, and the butter definitely wasn’t needed but made the bread that much butter. I had my steak medium and it was absolutely delectable and done right. Caroline was amazing and asked the bar to make accommodations, which they gladly did! The cocktails were perfectly balanced, and I would definitely recommend their mojitos, we also had the crème brûlée which was just a creamy delight - I highly encourage trying that as well. From the server, to the bartenders, as well as the kitchen, this team worked together in such a synchronized way that our entire evening out was above and beyond our standards. Can’t wait to come back.

Ive been here many times with big groups and small- I've always had attentive and friendly service! Every meal has been great.

Had a nice family dinner on a Friday night. Place was not too busy. Waited was so nice and very attentive. Would for sure go back to this location. We started with the calamari which to be honest nothing special. Would have preferred a bit more portion in this. My wife had the pork chop which tastes amazing. However I expected more for my prime rib. I felt like the marbling was too chewy for lack of a better word. Again overall I enjoyed it but for someone that loves steak you can tell the subtle differences. We ended with the Billy miner pie which is always good. Overall will still return to this place given the overall ambiance.

A quiet 53rd wedding anniversary and the bride's 75th birthday... made incredible by 3 generation surprise visit, gourmet food and our delightful server. Recommend for any special event... memorable!

Steak was over done. Burnt. When spending over couple hundred dollars between a group, you expect common service and a well cooked meal. Felt like I was at chucks having a 10 dollar steak! Not medium at all.

It's rare to have a bad experience at the Keg and this was no exception! Service was excellent, our food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and intimate. The perfect location to celebrate a special occasion. It's nice that this location is slightly less busy than Heartland so you're more likely to find a reservation here, which I highly recommend. 10/10!

Nice upscale steakhouse chain. I liked the relaxed ambiance and dim lighting, and all of the servers were kind and timely. The food tasted great, although it was pricey. The ribs were excellent, but I felt the calamari was skewed more toward fried batter than actual squid.

Our server Dylan was absolutely fantastic. Have to say it was one of the more enjoyable service experiences I have had at any restaurant lately. 10/10 for him. The food was the issue. A couple of my friends have been saying that the Keg overall has seen the quality of steak fallen off. I tend to agree. While being well seasoned, the steaks were chewy. Too much fat on the steaks. Very disappointing. The sides were cooked well and dessert was amazing. Just the steaks were a let down

The Keg at Argentia calls for a great night out! Or should I say great meal out. We made a reservation for both our daughter’s birthday and enjoyed our night out. I had the sirloin oscar and paired with the Bearnaise Sauce and it was delicious. The steak was done to medium perfection and whilst the shrimp and scallop had great flavour, I do believe there would be more to desire on size of both the scallop and shrimp. Nonetheless flavourful. Kids meals were.great and the colour sheets kept them entertained. Our serve Elaine was amazing and bought out desert for my daughter’s birthday which was really thoughtful. Overall a must try

Went here to celebrate with a friend of mine for our recent job promotions. The steak is always amazing, the mushroom rice was not good which is why I knocked off a star. It was dry and tasteless, I added a lot of the cheese butter that comes with the bread which made it worth it. I didn’t say anything to the server which is my own fault. The service was great. The billy minor cake is my favourite, and they treated us to it for celebrating our celebration. I wouldn’t recommend the mushroom rice, should have stuck with their delicious potatoes

Went for a lovely family dinner and Kyle was our server. He was so attentive and amazing! Food came quickly and was perfect. Kids loved it too and was a completely enjoyable time. Service and staff were simply wonderful

Got a crème brûlée to go as it’s my favourite thing on the menu and I can’t leave without getting one and this is what was in my bag. So disappointed, it looks horrendous. congealed and liquidy. No sugar crust

This was our first time here, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, our host was extremely polite, well versed and gave us adequate time to decide and gave us good recommendations. We went for seafood, the lobster tail, pistachios fish, garlic shrimps were amazing. Overall great experience for family and friend s. Highly recommended.
