Horrible store with horrible staff, Mark is terrible with treating people and completely lacks knowledge, doesn't even know the fish he stocks... Read through most of the reviews, they're so obviously faked or from one of the co owner's family ( Mark Escobar). Avoid this store at all costs. EDIT: Mark is now offering discounts to falsify a review online, pathetic

BUYER BEWARE DONT NOT BUY FISH HERE.. I bought a juvenile star sapphire from here and it died by the time I put it In the tank about 10 mins trying to save him. I had bought other fish prior to, at least 2 hours had them in a bucket with an air stone and they all were fine. So I called them back fought them to get a replacement not the friendliest to be honest. Got there gave me my replacement the next day the fish died again! Something is wrong with their fish they are sick and thank God they didn't infect my fish. The worker said might be my water parameters as an excuse, but all the other fish I bought the same day are all still currently alive. So think twice before purchasing fish here, super overpriced and very pushy to sell. I suggest finatics, and big als nearby instead of this store.

I love the new store. Amazing high quality cichlids at really great prices. Super clean tanks, healthy fish. I picked up 5 fish today, a Venustus, a Jack Dempsey and 3 Lithobates. I will definitely be back. Also picked up food including very hard to get Extreme. Food was cheaper than other area fish stores.

This is the worst fish store I’ve been to in the GTA. Their tanks are dirty, the fish are unwell and their prices are high. Save your time and money and go to Finatics down the road.

Amazing store 10/10, great service, beautiful fish and reasonable prices. Bobby G and his staff are very friendly and helpful they answered every question I had. I am quite shocked that this store doesn’t have a 5 star rating, the people who gave 1 star reviews have know idea what their talking about.

Mike has a wide selection of cichlids to suit the needs of both beginners and hobbyists alike..... The prices are cheaper and more flexible than any other Fish stores I've been to in Toronto, Mississauga and Scarborough .... The environment is warm and welcoming , I'd recommend anyone and everyone to pass by and say hi and have a look..... The friendly atmosphere and wide selection is enough to enjoy...

Good Store good selection of african cichlids mike the owner takes the time to explain to you the different types of fishes he carries most of them are brought from Africa and from Germany good selection and prices are competitive

The best aquarium store in this area by far great prices for the quality fish you always get. Bobby and will are the 2 nicest guys you could ever meet they both have an incredible knowledge of the aquarium hobby. Every cichlid I have ever purchased was the happiest healthiest fish I have ever bought.

Staff were friendly and half the fish in the store were good. Only half tho. about half the tanks were not being maintained when I visited the store. Dead fish, algae everywhere, skinny fish. Especially the Betta section. The store itself was in disarray. Quite messy and smelly. I won't be back at this store anytime soon.

We visited yesterday and I have never had such amazing customer service! Bob stayed over an hour past closing so he could be there when we were in London. We talked for an hour in the store like old friends and the time flew by! His selection is fantastic and the fish are in tip top shape! I have never seen such beautiful discus. They will grow big in our tank! I was so happy to come home with two top quality discus and a colony of blue dream shrimp! He even threw in babies for me. Thank you Bob! We will be back!

They have a big selection of Rare wild caught African cichlids and imported from Germany and also wide selection of breeding groups for all of breeders and they also have a wide high quality breeding pair of discus that they imported from Germany 🇩🇪 and also some goldfish that they imported from Japan and some Guppy’s from Russia and they also have a breeding pair of turtle and also some angelfish from Philippine and lots of selection of flower horns. I highly recommend this store for all fish lovers

Kinda tucked away and small, but the variety of fish here is crazy lol. I went with a fish fanatic who seemed thoroughly impressed. Owner was knowledgeable and will help you out, or just let you browse. :)

Bobby G’s was definitely an awesome experience! I went with a few fish in mind and was blow away by his selection. The beauty and quality of cichlids is unmatched to anything I have seen. They really are by far the most gorgeous I have in the tank now. It's really apparent side by side with the others the incredible quality and color. Very happy!

When you walk in it’s messy, dusty, dingy, smells funky and spider webs everywhere, I thought I was walking into a horror movie set! I was lost and wasnt sure where I could walk thru. From Past Pictures the place looked nice, They seem to have given up on keeping the place clean, presentable which is unfortunate because they have really good prices, nice healthy looking fish surprisingly and fish I’ve never seen at other stores.

Beautiful bettas and really great prices! Really great variety of all kinds of fish. I was pleased to have found pink varieties of bettas, guppies, and glo tetras. The shopkeeper was really friendly as well. There is free parking.

Went there seeing the ads..but the fishes are highly overpriced. The collection is also not so great.

Bobby G’s sells nothing but the best. When we head to Bobby G’s we know it is going to be a 2 hour visit. Clean neat and tidy. Whether you are a veteran Cichlid keeper or just starting out you are sure to gain some knowledge. We always look forward to our next visit.

The service I received from Bobby G's was amazing; they were extremely responsive and had great communication. I ordered and paid through email, and the fish were shipped the following day. They were well packed and acclimation instructions were very clear. I would definitely buy from Bobby G's again!

Update: This review is for: 1- the crazy pricing they have for their fish. Its three-four times more expensive than other pet stores, for the same quality fish and sometimes even lesser quality. 2- The life stock they have are labeled wrong. Eg. they sell low grade blue shrimps as high grade Blue Dream neos, any newbies would know the difference. 3- some fish had visible signs of sickness but were in the same tank with other fish. This will kill your buyers fish. I will updated my review based on the steps business takes fix the problems.

Been in and around the fish world for 10 or so years. I’m used to driving to Toronto for selection. Very happy that London finally has a quality shop that’s worth going to. On top of that I was pleasantly surprised to find Will ( an employee there ) that I know from other stores here in London. He is excellent to deal with and has an exceptional amount of knowledge. I’ll def be back knowing he is there

Small little family aquarium shop with so much selection! Mike and Irene were so helpful and kind during my visit, making sure I had everything I needed and giving me the opportunity to look around unbothered for as long as I wanted. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE i will never return to this store the employee or boss was super ignorant and made me not wanna be a customer i was new and he spoke to me with with a verry poor attitude and was verry disrepectffull and tryed to make a firstntime customer feel dumb i recommend people find a different store dont shop at this A-holes store. I had a chance to visit the store yesterday, and I was very impressed. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and I found everything I needed. It was a much better experience than visiting a big box store, since their so close to my house I will visit often.

Very clean with a great selection of fish and products. Bobby knows what he is talking about and takes the time to help. The prices are great and all the livestock looked healthy! Very diverse selection of cichlids and shrimp but other cool stuff as well. For sure worth the visit.

My son and I had a great experience at Bobby G’s. We were greeted as soon as we entered the store. If you want African cichlids you need to go here. What an amazing selection of fish. Bobby and his staff took their time and answered all of our questions. They don’t try to sell you products you don’t need or too many fish at once. They really want your tank to be successful. We can’t wait to go back in a few weeks for some more fish.

I recently got 5 cardinal tetra from these guys and they sure look super healthy. It was my first time here and I definitely recommend these guys. They also have a great selection of cichlids . Only thing to improve: the store can be a bit more organized. Nonetheless. I definitely recommend these guys. Always good to support family owned business.

Great place to buy. If this place was bigger? I could only imagine what they would bring in. I’m not a chiclid keeper, but the owner showed me some rare ones he had. Might start up a chiclid tank now 😊

We had a great experience stopping by Aquatopia! We have ordered thier discus before and they have a great selection of freshwater fish. Discus from 3"-5" beautiful and lots of fancy goldfish, oh not to mention great customer service!

Probably one of the best, if not THE best fish stores in the GTA! I have been keeping betta fishes for almost 20 years and by far, this store has the healthiest looking ones in the city! I would highly recommend anyone who’s looking for betta fish to come here- not only do they have the rare breeds (koi, dumbo, shortail marbles), they’re all thriving! Amazing job, store owner!

Got some fishes from this place for low price, they are healthy and doing well. They have very good collection of fish. Store looks very old and not maintained well or isn’t upgraded. Guess fish tanks are kept well based on the condition of the fish.

Friendly knowledgeable staff that are helpful and friendly. They don't have the a/c running, so the store is kinda uncomfortably warm on a hot summer day. Maybe a few fans pointed towards the door might be helpful 🤷‍♂️

Great selection of Malawi fish and he’s even got some monster fish there ! Long time aquarium hobbyist looking to get back into the hobby. Inquired with mike regarding a preorder notification on nov 14th. Got a couple of replies back but when I asked for pricing and how to proceed, I did not get a response. Noticed today that the shipment had arrived and inquired as to why there was no communication. The response I got from mike was “ lots of people order, I cannot serve everyone” As a first time customer I was shocked as to the lack of customer service despite some very good reviews from other fellow hobbyists. I hope future customers will receive better service.
