If I had an option I wouldn't even give them 1 star. You get in person doctor appointment 4 to 5 weeks in advance. Phone call appointments after 3 days latest and when it's time for your call, you get a call after 4 to 5 hours . There's no respect of others time or schedule.. Doctor rushes and has to the point conversations. Reception never picks up the phone calls.. or responds to the fax pharmacy sends them.. it seems they are over booked and don't care about patients at all! Please safe yourself and don't waste time with them.

I have been calling the Intrepid Mississauga since 2 weeks several times almost all days. The reception should be not taken if they cannot pick the phone and after 20-25 minutes they are just terminating the phone. Health department should look int this when as a patient for several years are trying to reach and the receptionist terminates the phone. I want to book my appointment on the sonography which i took and its really frustrating that all such folks are given a position in the clinics. I am with the family physician since 10 years and since she is ow retiring i think i will look to some other physician nearby my home. I am fed up with the clerical/receptionist who work here.

Had a pretty bad experience with Dr. Ghazala Saif and the assistants, would not recommend her as a family doctor. During my first family medicine consultation I started to have a panic / anxiety attack and informed the assistants that i would like to speak with the doctor and do the introductory questions with her, told them I dont feel good, and they got super tense. Once Dr. Ghazala came inside the room, she didn't even bother having a conversation with me, asked me what happened and i said i'm having a panic attack and possibly a burnount. Within 3 minutes of her coming into the room, she upped my antidepressant dose 4 times, again, we did not have a single conversation, i was actively in a panic attack and nobody did anything to calm me down, not even speak to me. After upping my dose without knowing anything about my personal and medical history, I asked her if she's going to do the family medicine intake, and she quickly left the room after giving me a bloodwork test, and I had to figure out what to do with that piece of paper, no explanation whatsoever. Safe to say I am not going to be her patient and I would not recommend her or the clinic if you're suffering from anxiety. I'm not even mentioning how the clinic called me 3 times after I already set up the appointment to book my appointment.. very disorganized

These people will give you depression. Staff ( including pharmacy) and doctors at this location have zero manners and basic training to treat patients ( specially with kids) . Please for your mental health sack, stay away from this place. They will treat you disrespectfully. I cannot believe they are able to operate in Canada with this attitude. - online booking doesn't work. -nobody pick up phone -nobody respond to emails ( been trying to book appointments for my kids for last 2 weeks. ) -if try to ask pharmacy to help, they will shout at you and hang up on you. I wish I could complain about this clinic somewhere.😢😢

AVOID AT ALL COST. If I could give a lower rating I would. My appointment was rescheduled three times as my family Dr would not be in. I agreed to see another DR in the office Dr Bawangoanwala. the day of my appointment I get several reminder texts giving the option to check if there are any delays it shows none. I arrive at the exact time of my appointment and was told there 30-40 minute wait. I told the receptionist I had a quick errand to run and will be back in 20 minutes. I got back in less than 15 minutes and was told there's still 7 people ahead of me. When I asked what the purpose of my appointment is if I still had to wait I was told the DR is going away and squeezing in her patients. I was finally called only to be put in hallway to wait some more. The Dr passed me and did not even have the courtesy to acknowledge me sitting there. I was put in a room, after waiting another half I decided to leave. The lab tech(only good thing about the staff) was very apologetic. I asked her to ensure ohip will not be billed she advised it will not be but I will call ohip to confirm.

The clinic front staff experience is quite inconsistent - often irresponsible (I've always had positive experience with my family doctor and friendly medical team). Waiting for 30-45 mins despite the appointment is quite common (that's probably the case elsewhere too). I was there for my in person appointment - merely 2 mins behind. Then I waited for another 5 mins for front staff to even look at me so I could report my arrival for the appointment. One staff said my appointment was marked by the doctor as 'no show' (Really? For 2 minute delay!? Is this even normal?); the other same time said their system didn't book my appointment due to some glitches (I actually got appointment messages, reminders till my arrival; I even marked my arrival on the link) The staff then asked me to book a phone appointment at a later time. Simply said their appointment system has glitches. No regards to a client that takes time off work just to be there for the appointment even if 99.99% time they end up waiting. Bottom line - some front staff will definitely benefit from effective client service and basic courtesy training.

Our family doctor from Square one health group referred this clinic to do our cardio and other related tests. They called me and arranged the appointment based on our requirement. Went there on Sunday afternoon. Easy to reach.Plenty of parking available. I was initially confused where the entrance was. Entrance is actually from the back side. Bit confusing there. Overall satisfactory.

Even 1 star is too much. 1) I feel offended by their marking my gender as OTHER 2)personal bad experience with 2 of their doctors who only care about putting you on a pain killers under any reason (including depression). Wondering what percentage of their income is made by prescribing the pain killers… 3)the clinic require from you to show up there every few months if there is a reason or not. Just to drain your OHIP card for useless appointments. How convenient …

Dr Waseem is honestly the best doctor I have come across. He is patient, knowledgeable, and very calm. His assistant was very considerate of my work schedule and had the doctor see me on priority basis. Highly recommend Dr Waseem and this clinic!

This place is an absolute joke. Don’t even bother scheduling an appointment. “Our system is down” is their canned response for lack of competence. I checked into my appointment 5 minutes before the start time and they said they’re on time. After 20 minutes I followed up with reception and they said they will check me in now… like why did I even check in at first? Had I not followed up I would sit here with no knowledge that the receptionist check in is not valid. Don’t waste your time here, waiting at a walk-in clinic is faster. Thanks for wasting my afternoon! I will continue to use online services rather than waste my time sitting in an office with staff who don’t do their job.

Pathetic is how i would rate their service. The lab assistant made me wait on fasting for more than an hour and she says she doesn’t have right equipment for one of my tests and would recommend me to go to lifelabs for all the tests including blood test. Went to lifelab and they had a wait time of more than an hour . Hence i returned home due to Intrepids negligence and lack of empathy towards a fasting patient. I requested them to at least take my blood sample . They refused stating that they are understaffed

Dr Sidra is my family doctor and my today’s visit was excellent Her attention to the details and keep tracking of all matters which are my / our concern, are outstanding and I really appreciate her time utilization, knowledge of the subject and following according to importance of the issue is commendable Thanks Dr Sidra

This is by far the worst experience. Dr. Sidhu refused to see patients because they were late for the appointment by 5 minutes. UNBELIEVABLE!!! This office just does care about the patients!!!... The front desk staff don't know what they are doing either...NEVER COMING BACK AND MOVING MY DR AND I DON'T CARE IF I HAVE TO Drive another 10 minutes...

Terrible clinic very hard to get through confirmed appointment went there after telling them on arrival was asked to wait after 30 min if waiting was put in a room waiting another 30 minutes was told i have no appointment and the doctor is not coming . Doctors there are inconsiderate they don’t care about patients mismanaged place . They kept on saying no doctor is available for a confirmed appointment eventually had to tell them i will complain about this then only a doctor saw my daughter. if i could give a lower rating i would. Terrible clinic .

If you have something simple to see these doctors like sniffles cold or cough, other than that these doctors have no clue. They should be called diagnostic technician they just read your blood work and urine test they are absolutely clueless if antibiotics don't work on you or some other medications they prescribe you. That's why there is 12 months wait for a specialist. I had heard Walking clinic doctors are clueless but then I experience and saw it with my own eyes. So good luck don't keep your hope high with these doctors here.

Doctors and staff are good. Online booking system is terrible and unreliable. You may or may not get an email a few days later. You cannot contact them by phone, only routed through an automated system until it hangs up on you. Expect a week just to contact someone to make an appointment. Are you sick on a friday? Maybe you will be able email someone on the following wednesday to make an appointment.

They have good doctors but everything else requires a serious overhaul. Their online appointment booking system has so many glitches. It never shows any available appointments. Even their phone number fails to go ringing mode or into a dial tone. It’s impossible to book an appointment (online or on phone). Also one time, we also had a very bad experience getting our blood work done from here. The staff member poked the needle on my spouse’s arm three times and had all three failed attempts while drawing blood. They were so casual about this incident saying that we are unable to find a nerve. Their staff need to be more careful and experienced as multiple failed attempts could have led to serious health issues.

The services that I received from Dr. Waseem Chaudhary was excellent. He did a great job with my first ever health exam earlier in the month and there after yesterday. He give full attention to you which was lacking with my previous doctor and take interest in illness history. All the staff there are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. I really appreciate my nephew who recommended me to contact Dr. Chaudhary and I am so glad I chose Intrepid Health Group and now would highly recommend it to anyone.

My family doctor is dr.asifa. Whenever my daughter sick and i need appointment for same day she is off that day staff always said that and tell me go to emergency then y we make family doc if can go to emergency wait 15 hours .. this week i visit there dr asifa is in clinic and they told me on phone she is off receptionist is liar she said oh dr ghazala is available i takes 3 hours to see when i reach there she said oh she is fully booked .. what type of service is this .. they should change their front desk who lie too much check our patience level .. they r deciding where we have to go if we have family doc then y we go to emergency.. i seriously dont like this always lie if dr is in clinic but they tell u on phone she is off today these people think we r stupid here …

Worst clinic, they book you in for one time and thn expect you to wait for 3 hrs minimum with the appointment. And that’s not a big deal for them , how come they are assuming that ppl who came to see the doc in this clinic are free ppl nothing else to do. Please have some mercy on patients. The doctors and the receptionists all are same. The doctors book 3 patients for physical on the same time assuming that she can check one patient and others two can wait comfortably in the waiting area.

Update: Reducing 2 stars. The doctor continues to be more than amazing, but at my recent appointment , I had to wait from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM just to be able to see the doctor because apparently someone deleted my name from the schedule after marking me as arrived. Approached the front desk twice only to be told Dr will see you in a bit. The management responded to my email and was apologetic about it. Will give this team another chance to improve their services. Old review: I switched to Dr. Waseem as my family physician. He is extremely well informed and will thoroughly attend to your doubts and queries.

My wife and I came for a 1:30PM appointment with Dr. Chaudry and arrived 5 mins early. We then approached the lady named Sarah and informed her we were there for a 1:30PM appointment and was asked to take a seat after getting my wife’s last name. 15 mins passed our appointment and I approached again another lady in the reception which seemed to be more helpful than Sarah and told her that we have been waiting to be called and we did not want the same thing to happen to us a week ago that I ended up waiting for more than 1 hour past my appointment only to be told that there was a system glitch and my name was not listed in the schedule which by the way, the doctor apologized about it and it was fine because I understand that things happen. However, Sarah interrupted and said that we told her we were there for CARDIO. We said no that’s not what said. She then impolitely insisted infront of the other receptionist that we told her CARDIO making me and my wife feel that we were liars! Sarah argued on this 3 times that we said CARDIO instead of apologizing and owning up to her mistake! We did not demand to be treated like a king and a queen because we appreciate frontliners as my wife is on medical field too and I am in the service industry as well. We just wanted to be politely and properly treated. I don’t think Sarah realizes what she did and it was just so rude of her to insist for something my wife and I never uttered in the first place. PS: We have a good experience with Dr. Chaudry by the way.

Noora is amazing lady. My daughter had gotten a fracture and she helped us a lot. And Dr.Waseem Chaudhry is very nice and helpful.

contrary to the numerous poor reviews of this clinic, I have had nothing but positive experiences here. Dr Chaudhary is one of the more knowledgeable GPs I've dealt with & the reception staff are professional, polite & accomodating. Well run establishment!

Wait times are too long.

My experience with Intrepid Health has been wondering. I recently had high blood pressure and was unwell to the point that I passed out, Dr. Waseem’s entire team, Dr. Batool, Nora, Jerusalem and Zobiya were very helpful and understanding. I don’t have words to explain how comfortable they made me feel and gave me the best care possible. From the bottom of my heart, I’m very thankful to the clinic for everything and recommend everyone to come to this clinic if you’re looking for a family doctor or walk- in.

I had an appointment with dr sidra at 3:30 on 25 feb 2022 on phone call . I waited till 7:00 . Heard nothing from office no email about why this happened . Irresponsible non prodessional attitude . If dr sidra changed her plan due to some reason office might call email about the delay or cancellation of appointment .

Even after telling so many times that pls send prescription to the pharmacy I go the doctor never sends that location and I have to call every time and all the time the pharmacy and the clinic are on long holds as if we are free. If there was negative rating I would have given that.

I am very satisfied with the services I always receive at this place. Dr. Saif is excellent. The wait time is a problem at times ,however, I find this issue in every clinic in Mississauga. We need to learn to be patient since at the end of the day exceptional jobs of our doctors and nurses really matter.

Just to let you know if you think they have basic things that are supposed to be in “urgent care” like surgical glue for minor cut you are wrong. It says there is walk in and open but dr not in until after 12 and I was on phone for long time with no answer. Don’t bother. And yes the reception super helpful she said go to emerg for the minor cut..

Our family Dr Sidra Sindu was very attentive to our problems and took time to hear us and take care. Also really appreciate Nurse Nora..very professional and caring..Nurse Nora is truly a remarkable person and so caring. So far we are really impressed with the service at Intrepid Medical Centre

This is one of the best clinics I have seen. Staff is professional and attentive. The lab experience most especially is top notch. I found it easy to get along with members of staff here. Thankful for a wholesome experience.

Called for app for dr to get renewal prescription but receptionist was so rude and not helpful even for walk in . We were patient of this clinic for last 10 years but once your dr retired you are no longer patient of this clinic so will not get app and go to any other walkin clinic to get your regular rx

The cardio staff is slow to get reports sent. Weeks have passed and my family doctor is yet to receive my reports. Making an appointment is useless since you have to wait anyways. Facilities are clean but still wouldn’t recommend.

First visit Dr Sayyid seems like a good doctor....hope they get rid of their front desk team with ppl who r there for us not test our patience.... Went in because I've been having severe cold and flu symptoms for past 3 days and I was barely analyzed by the doctor and was told I couldn't get antibiotics. Didn't bother checking my temperature or give me a covid test, I felt it was very rushed. She did prescribe me a puffer for weezing coming from my lung which I then brought to the pharmacy inside the doctors office and I couldn't believe the price.. $101.. I had the same puffer 2 years ago and it costed me $25. All in all it wasn't a pleasant experience for me and will not be going there again

The phone line is frequently busy so you can't even leave a message. The receptionists simply ignore emails and don't send in your prescriptions. Absolutely do not recommend.

Worst experience ever - the Doctor here is 2-3 hours late, and when i called the reception the first one hung up on me and then the 2nd one- they told me the doctor will call you by EOD- good grief! its healthcare not amazon delivery.

This is the worst appointment portal and booking system I have come across. Firstly online booking never ever works and yet their answering machine keeps stating to book appointments online. Secondly even when you call, you have so much hold on phone before getting to receptionist and moreover it disconnects number of times. Is our time not valuable? Someone needs to fix the appointment booking afyer so many people complain on the reviews!

Why is it that it is humanly impossible to get through a medical clinic like Intrepid? Intrepid asks us to book online and when I did try today i.e., July 10, 2023, I am getting a booking for Thursday August 17, 2023. How does that even work? - Do they hope that my illness should go on for over a month!! It should be noted that it is not that I did not try calling them. I did that four times, out of which, once some lady did pick up the call and asked me to hold, only to disconnect the call. This is outrageous. It is extremely sad that they can not handle the patient load, and if that is the case then I suggest they do not accept NEW PATIENTS. Got signed up to Dr. Chaudhary (the doctors here was professionalism but i guess this location took walk ins a lot so they got tied up with the schedule and little time for each patient health concerns intake) What im concerned here is why his nurses was rolled her eyes with me while im slow to answer personal health questions. Im sorry i guess my health concerns just not worth it obviously your time is matter than people's life when you make a choice for yourself pick and choose to be a nurse? I couldn't belived when I have to write this, this health clinic located in a good location, plenty of parking and theres also a pharmacist here and dentistry right next to it, doctors was also staright to the point. The downside is if youre a human walking with feelings and not a robot and everyone got the right to seek compassions especially when your sick, weak and need help. Couldnt believed im asking for simple human right at a health clinic.. Obvs it wasnt the doctor faults at all but if theyd hired better understanding staffs then i guess this place would be a better place.. Awful clinic. Wasted my time and money. I had a holter monitor appointment through cardiohealth booked at Intrepid Health Group. I had called cardiohealth to inform them I was going to be 15 mins late due to rush hour traffic. I checked in at the front desk, I informed them that I had spoke to someone at cardiohealth about being late and the receptionist told me to sit down and my name will be called. After watching several people be called and waiting over 45 minutes, I went to the front desk to ask how much longer. Only to be told the holter technician had already left for the day. I waited over 45 minutes for nothing. The receptionist was rude, offered no solution or even so little as an apology for the confusion. Do not waste your time coming here. They are very disorganized.

Brought my dad to the clinic, the doctor didn't even listen to us and ripped up one of our documents without even consulting us. Very unprofessional and did not take the time to consider what was needed. Very disappointed and will not be returning.
