It was our 2nd time having their mouth-watering shawarmas thanks to a close friend's recommendation. We ordered their Chicken on rice, Lamb Saj meal and Chicken Saj meal. Their saj wraps are simply too good to not try; I'd say they are worth the drive from Milton to Mississauga. They seem to very popular with back-to-back orders of both take-out and dine-in. Both times we dined in, however it's worth mentioning that calling ahead of time and placing your order will really save you a lot of waiting time. The 1st time we waited 40 mins for our order as we did a walk-in (they had already warned us of the wait time as they were preparing countless orders). Today we called 15 mins prior to arriving, and our food was ready to dive in. Another thing to add here is that they have limited seats available to dine-in as it's not a very spacious spot so plan ahead. Nonetheless we highly recommend trying their shawerma platters.

First if all it was impossible to call and place an order. Tried calling for half an hour if not more without any luck… Then arrived to location itself and it took around 40 min if not more to order and get my order… Finally received my food and I have asked for pomegranate sauce to be added to the saj but it wasn’t… All the meat items were super dry, not seasoned and seriously burnt… So all this waiting would have been okay for delicious food but unfortunately it was very disappointing experience.

We have been searching high and low for a truly authentic shawarma sandwich. Original Shawarma is the most authentic shawarma you will ever find. The owner is the most hospitable person we have met and the service is top notch and the food, just wow. No words can describe the taste and authenticity. It felt like I was back in Jordan. This is our first time and definitely not our last time. We will be back very soon.

Super testy shawarma, both lamb and chicken are insanely delicious, juicy and fresh We tried both sandwiches and family platter and always impressed with the flavours Omar and Bayan took care of our order to be in this amazing shape , friendly team

Ordered the mix family platter... was not impressed. the lamb and chicken were kind of dry and burnt. the bread was stale. There are better places for such platters. Check my previous reviews.

First time in Canada I enjoyed eating Shawarma!!! More than what I expected! Very tasty 😋 very fresh and delicious 🤤 we took the Family meal it was amazing! The place clean and great environment! The must important thatwe find a staff was friendly and helpful and they are very generous ! We meet the chief Ahmed and he was very kind and happy! So for sure the food will be great 😊 🙌 they have out door open area. we are happy that this month they will have new branch on Montreal Quebec 👍 so excited. Best recommendation

This is my second time at Original Shawarma. First time I got the Chicken Meal and thought it was mediocre and dry. Decided to give it a second chance today after reading reviews that lamb is better. I ordered the large Lamb Salad & Rice meal. When I opened the takeout I was disgusted. So much sauce and it was sweeter than I like. I asked for hot spicy level and it’s so mild. The amount of sauce is to cover up that there were only like 10 small pieces of lamb in there. The sauce drenched the salad which I don’t like because I prefer my salad with little sauce.

If you are looking for authentic shawarma place in Mississauga, you have to come here! It’s a family run business (not like other fast food chain shawarma like Osmow’s or Lazeez). The owner and his son are so friendly, they will explain to you what each meal includes! The most popular dish, Chicken Saj meal, is just amazing! I personally like the Lamb Mandi meal because the lamb is cooked to a super soft texture. The portions for every meal is always plenty and the price is affordable. You will always see a big family with 10+ people coming here ordering a few family platters and enjoying their Friday night or Saturday afternoon on the outside terrace. Great environment for dining in and fast service for take outs. Plus, everyone here speaks Arabic! A little bonus, their Cajun fries are better than Popeye’s!

The $4.50 garlic sauce is just 2 small sauces, which you can get for $1 each.. So they just take 2.50 from you for nothing :( Other than that, no complaints. The chicken on rice was decent.

I was working nearby,So i decided to come to this store. I have heard great things about this shawarma joint in the past Certainly its one of the best shawarma places in gta Starting with the customer service,the lady greeted with smile Ordered a chicken Saj and they gave me a spicy garlic on the side Chicken Saj was wonderful and trying it with the spicy garlic make it more special The quality of saj bread was sooo good nice and crispy The only thing i was concerned was, the dining area tables were dirty,but i did find myself a cleaner table Overall a good experience and would definitely recommend this place to everyone else.

In addition to the delectable mixed BBQ plate my wife and I enjoyed, what truly elevated our dining experience was the thoughtful touch of complimentary lentil soup for those awaiting their meals. The exceptional service and delicious food make this restaurant a standout. We'll definitely be returning.

This is the worse shawarma I have ever had!!!!! I bought the saj lamb shawarma and I asked for just the lamb and lots of hummus. Wait time was much too long. Tables were not clean. I wouldn’t mind the very small portion with hardly any hummus if the taste was great. Unfortunately I got “a large” shawarma that would barely pass for a kid meal. Just look at my photo of the shawarma relative to the plastic spoon!!!! I will not be back. I have had great shawarmas in my life and not so great but this one was a disgrace!!!!!! They have great advertising but the lamb shawarma was terrible !!!!!!

I went there yesterday and ordered a family plater. It was very delicious and the service was amazing. They were all super kind and friendly and especially chef Ahmad who came out personally to ask me if I was taken care of and what I would like special in my order. Thank you for the great service.

Very nice experience. The staff and atmosphere have a chill vibe. We ordered 2 cheesy volcanoes on my son's bday and they gave us extra chicken and fries, very generous of them. The fries are the best I've ever tried, very flavourful and crunchy. Would recommend.

They were really good, I loved their chicken shawarma, their pita tasts amazing. I also tried their lamb it was fantastic. I highly recommend it. I would check the order though to double check if it's right because they got one our side wrong and we only found out when we got home.

Good service friendly staff. Just ordered from here. Waited 30 mins for chicken shawarma on Salad however my salad was drenched in water I didn’t even taste the vegetables , all I tasted was water and my chicken was cold even though I waited 30 mins for fresh chicken it was good the last time I came but this was really a disappointment

Food was really good both the lamb and the chicken shawarma. The portions were huge none of us were able to finish their meal! Consider sharing platters :)

You won't go wrong with any choice at Original Shawarma. I am not going to even talk about the mouth watering Shawarma, or the amazing falafel as it is a given when you visit this place. I am going to focus my review on the amazing customer service for the employee at the cashier and the great hospitality of Chef Ahmad. Chef Ahmad is the backbone of this business with his great hospitality and welcoming nature. You just feel the great vibe and love in every bite you take. Keep it up Chef Ahmed and staff.

This place is totally worth it. Huge portions and just the right amount of messy. Bread is amazing at locking in the flavour. Combos and family meals are priced very well. Clean Washrooms. Suggest ordering ahead. Can get busy.

This OG Shawarma and Mandi spot is one of the highest rated Shawarma spots in Mississauga and for a good reason since their food was freaking amazing! I went there at 4pm and the place was jam packed till 5pm so I knew something was good about this eatery which I later found out to be true since their Mandi chicken was tender and juicy, their lamb was seasoned perfectly and their chicken tenders were very unique in taste 10 I was also very impressed with the spectacular customer service as restaurant staff tend to panic during peak hours but the staff at Original Shawarma remained vigilant and were able to help out all their customers! Do add this spot to your list of restaurants to try out!

Amazing food! Great for our family get-together at home. The staff was very accommodating, and they were able to prepare our food even if I was earlier than the scheduled pick-up time. While waiting, Neema even offered a sample of their lentil soup, which I'm having for the first time, and it's delicious. Highly recommend this for anybody's next food adventure! Go to the Mississauga branch where the food is good and the staff is great!

Traveled all the way from Texas to try this place out based on the Facebook marketing. I truly would give this place 3 to 4 stars for the food. The meat was a bit dry/overcooked, and the bread was stale. Giving 5 stars for the outstanding customer service/experience. I know this place has what it takes to keep it 5 stars. Best of luck.

Could do better with the shawarma. They recommend the chicken king shawarma. Found it boring. The hot sauce was not hot but rather sour.

Tried this place out because a coworker recommended it to me. This is one of the best shawarma places in the area. Good prices and fairly quick service for how busy it is. I love how they give you a bit extra meat on top.

Had the rice and chicken platter, stuff was great - small portion filled me up, I usually have to get a large at other places because of how stingy they are but Original delivered. Price was on par with the chain shawarma, but quality is much better, especially in the meat. Sauce was not an issue - if you like light sauce make sure you ask! Hot sauce looks kind of suspect because of the artificial red colour it has (hopefully its a natural colour?), but it does have some kick. Would definitely return to eat again, may be my new lunch spot
