The taste of each and every dish we ordered were amazing. The BEEF fry was fentabolous. Chicken roast was mind blowing. We really thought we were in Kerala. No words for Ghee rice. We ordered nadan food once and all the dishes were superb. All our relatives had a great opinion on each and every dishes especially the king fish curry and sambar. Once we ordered Ghee rice, chicken roast, beef fry, porota and paneer butter masala . Every single item was soo delicious. Thanks to John Ettan and his better half for arranging such an mouth watering dishes

Very dedicated and hard working couple running this restaurant. I recently placed a catering order for 60 people including Breakfast, Lunch & evening tea for a teachers workshop. Very tasty food was ready to be picked up exactly on time I asked for. Specially mentioning the quantity of the food items.Very reasonable prices too. Thank you John&Athira.

This place is a must try spot, we have tried Kerala Parotta and Beef curry which was awesome 👌. The food was really fresh and tasty. And the best part is best customer service.

Polite and good service.Food just okay expensive for the average taste. If food item is missing in spite of feedback no action taken to rectify. Sad that you cant take criticism. I have a splendid experience with JJ Biriyani Hut. I tried their Thalassery Chicken Biriyani and Beef Fry. Both of the items are really yummy and finger licking. This is the best authentic kerala biriyani I ever had in Ontario.

Without an iota of doubt, The best Kerala food we have eaten across Canada! Really tasty biriyani and mouth watering fish fry. A must try for all food lovers. Thank you John!

The worst customer service. There are many Kerala restaurants which has good food and good service. But this place has the worst customer service. The people are so so rude. For asking a question I was told not to come to the restaurant it self and with this behaviour they expect to have good sales. I don't know if the food is good or not, but if you're treating your customers with such disgrace, I don't think so anybody is going to show up. Please avoid going here and look out for other Kerala restaurants which are of course better than this one.

This place is great! They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, south Indian special foods are delicious. and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

Came across this place through instagram. It was lauded as a great place to get regional Indian food. It did not disappoint. The kizhi chicken Biryani was extremely fragrant and the chicken 65 was absolutely amazing - very crispy and tender. Will definitely come again to try other dishes on their menu :)

The Biriyani was authentic Kerala style, chicken 65 was Awsome. Kizhi Biriyani was lovely. Thanks JJ biriyani for bringing back memories from backwaters of Kerala. I really missed the food and you have brought me back to the land again!!!!

This was a hidden gem, located inside a small mall in Mississauga. So not so great for ambiance. But that's compensated via some super delicious food. Appam was soft and well fermented, and Pepper Chicken Curry had a lot of very well cooked succulent chicken pieces, and was enough for 2 people. Also tried out Kizhi Chicken Biryani, which comes wrapped up in a banana leaf, which is wrapped again inside an aluminium foil. The whole dish was so aromatic and yummy and the fried chicken pieces were pretty tasty. I'm surprised it has such less reviews. The outlet being in a food court of a mall is probably why not a lot of people know about this gem, but I'd recommend this 10/10, and they deliver as well, so do try this out.

Had ordered kerala porotta, pepper chicken and beef roast Kerala porotta- it was chapati made from Maida.. no rings or softness or crispiness.. just flat thick and rubbery. Have taken pics to prove. Pepper chicken.m - pepper chicken means actual black peppers used. This dish had bell peppers in it and tasted sweet. Beef roast. It was fried but tasteless.

I ordered a Masala Dosa. I had high expectations and were fulfilled in a reasonable price. I really liked the Sambhar. Everything was freshly made and could be confirmed from the aroma.

Best place for Kerala food, I’m a huge fan of their biriyani, I’ve tasted at almost all Kerala restaurants in town , this certainly goes to the top in my list. Unfortunately, not a great place for dine-in. Owner is so kind, wish them great success.

My wife and I thought of giving this place a try as we don't have any Kerala Restaurants in Hamilton. We ordered Kerala Parotta, Appam, Nadan Beef Roast, and Kizhi Chicken Biryani. The food was well prepared and very tasty. The prices are reasonable as well. The owner was friendly, polite and humble, the service was quick. Planning to make another soon.

We got the Kizhi Biryani (Chicken and Mutton) and Beef Chilli. Excellent excellent food. I just wished I lived closer to try the other stuff too. The person I spoke to behind the counter seems like a warm and honest person too. The place is in a food court of a mall and I would recommend takeout to enjoy the food. Not everyone will feel comfortable with the location, but if you can get over that and give this place a chance it will not disappoint. I hope the food maintains its taste and consistency for years. Just the best tasting Kerala food I have had in Canada.

Really delicious food . We ordered thalassery chicken biriyani , porotta and beef for a group of 40 people . The food was ready on time . The packing was perfect . Very delicious thalaseri Biryani, very good portion for the price, also tried mackerel fry, again very authentic and fresh. Highly recommended. Owner was very friendly and down to earth, will surely visit again soon

Hard working couple running this place. Unfortunately when I got there the Biryani was finished and so were the appams. Gives me a reason to visit them again. Awesome beef roast with parotta. Awesome mackerel fry and pomfret curry. Enjoyed my meal after a long time Edit- Tried the Thalassery mutton Biryani. It was the best I ever had. Balanced spice and flavour. The fried onion and raisins lend their sweetness to the spice that hits your palate with the right notes Must try if you love your Biryani. Comes with raita (pachidi), urad pappad, mango pickle.

Food was overall good. Bought thalassery beef biriyani and beef kappa biriyani. Both were a bit spicier than usual.

Heard so many good things about this place, so decided to order chicken 65, which sounds and looks great from precious pictures and reviews. I was told it would be 10-15 min wait. No problem. I hung out in the food court until my order was ready. The dish was barely lukewarm. The chicken was rubbery, not crispy at all, overall almost inedible. My only thought is that dish was not prepared fresh, and was reheated, which even that was not done properly.
