Genuinely and most pleasantly surprised! Don't know what I keep coming back for, the service, or the incredibly creative and hearty selection of potato based meals! This place truly takes loaded potato to a whole new level! Taking something so simple as a loaded potato and creating different combinations with different toppings and sauces is such a brilliant and delicious idea. I found this plaza by chance due to work, and when I saw there was a Potato Bar, I knew I has to try it out because I just LOVE potatoes! Today was the perfect opportunity as my boyfriend and I were starving after a hike. I ordered the Mexican Fiesta and my boyfriend got the Potato Dog, and we found the portion to be pretty decent. The potato itself was gigantic. Where do you even get potatoes that big!?? The restaurant was very accommodating to my substitution request for corn instead of salsa. But the truly shining potato was the Potato Dog. Instead of a bun, you get a potato. Such ingenuity! We both loved it and felt the sauces and toppings complimented the potato and sausage really well. You can tell the owners put thought into the flavour combination. We live all the way in North York, but both agree we'll be back for more Potato Bar.

I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while and I’m glad I finally did. My wife and I stopped in for a light lunch and ordered a Nashville Chick and a Big Philly. Both were delicious and incredibly filling. We struggled to finish everything and probably would have been okay splitting one based on our hunger level. Everything is halal and the guy working there was helpful with suggestions. There’s also a good amount of seating and the bathroom was pretty clean. I would definitely come back and try some other menu items and perhaps play around with the toppings.

I visited here last night with my boyfriend and we were so happy with our experience. It was surprisingly very busy considering it was a Sunday night around 8PM, but it is an extremely busy plaza in general and the food was worth it in the end. We ordered the Nashville Chick and the Big Philly. We thought that Nashville Chick was good, but the Big Philly was by far our favourite. The smoked potato base was so creamy and flavourful, and the meat, which we were told is roasted/cooked for 5 hours, was incredible! My boyfriend actually said he preferred his Nashville Chick when he was eating the leftovers cold - so you know the food is good when it tastes good hot and cold! The portions are great as well - we both ate half of our portions and got full, so we saved the other halves and had them for later. The Big Philly reheated really well, but if you got things like coleslaw or had colder elements on your potato it may not reheat as nicely. Again, the place was packed, so it was hard to find a seat. It took us about 15 minutes from walking in to receiving our food, and by the time we got it we had managed to snag a table. I do have to mention the tables were quite messy as I didn’t see them being cleaned between customers. We had to clean our table off with some paper towels as there was spilled food, but I do understand that will happen when the place is as busy as it was, and all the employees were busy working fast to get everyone’s food out. Not a big deal to us, but I know some people are picky about that! Side note - they also have a big tv that was playing the NBA all-stars game, so it’s a good place to grab a bite and catch the game as well! All in all, we had a fantastic experience here! I think it’s a genius idea to have a subway or chipotle- type food option revolving around the humble potato, where you can choose a set item off the menu or build your own potato with your favourite toppings! It’s also a great food option for people who are sensitive to gluten! Very filling without the bloat that comes with eating all the bread in a pizza, burger, shawarma wrap or sandwich! Very unique place, fantastic food and service; I will definitely be coming back! (P.S. please open an Oakville location 🫶🏼🥔)

Brilliant idea to incorporate different dishes with baked potatoes! I came here because my teeth hurts from braces and needle soft food. The food and service are both good! Price is also very affordable because 1 order of these baked potato is filling for 2 meals! At about $15 per potato, it’s quite good split into 2 meals. I can eat a lot and I still find it very filling eating half.

It was the first time we tried Mexican Fiesta, which was beyond delicious. The food was warm, healthy (baked) and filling. You can easily have it late at night. I will come back with my family again!

The best idea ever, a baked potato stuffed with fresh ingredients. It’s so tasty and full of flavour. I always get the sausage one with hot sauce on the side, insane! It’s so filling and just makes me so happy. I’m so glad I found this place. Highly highly recommend!!

Absolutely delicious potato with many options for toppings; loved it. Ever since Wendy’s stopped selling baked potatoes, I have been on the lookout for a potato restaurant; and this is the one; the nirvana of baked potatoes. A must visit , well worth the price. We shared the baked potato 🥔, can be too much for one person.

Tried the smoked potato Nashville chicken that was really good. The potato was smoked to perfection - creamy and soft throughout. However the only downside is the lack of the serving size options. The size is huge and not necessarily eatable by one person especially the same flavor. Maybe a smaller serving or a multi flavor option would be more enticing to visit more often!

Went to get fries but was convinced to get smoked potatoes and it was the best decision I made that day! The smoked potato was amazing, I tried the basic one with just house sauce and spring onions and it was great! We also tried the supreme fries with coleslaw, melted cheese, chicken and corn and loved it!! They make everything fresh in front of you. The customer service was phenomenal! Extra star just for that.

This place is a potato lovers dream come true with variations of baked potatoes and hand cut fries. So many options to chose from or you can even create your own to soothe those cravings. Its a bonus the staff are very friendly as well. I will be back for more hands down!

This place has been on my list for a while and we finally got to try it! We had the Mexican Fiesta and the Big Philly, both tasted great. The portions are a decent size and will fill you right up. It's interesting watching the baked potatoes be opened and set up consistently in the containers the same size and stuffed with fillings after. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There are places to sit inside but it can get busy quick. Excited to try the tater tots next time!

The name makes it feel like it will be same old fries & stuff but this is very Different, Excellent, Fresh, Crispy, Hot & Good quantity. And don't worry, there is meat too. As a first timer, it was tough to decide what to get so we want with Alabama Totters. And we loved it!! It is like small crispy hashbrowns with crispy chicken pieces along with salad & sauces. And the combination is just great! They have tons of toppings & many menu options. We are going back to try other menu items.

What drove me to try this place is their tv ad by the window. On the TV it showed delicious food items and it looked so good. It is a small restaurant not much seating places but otherwise in reference to the food, the food is pretty good. For what you pay, you get quite a “heavy,” amount of food on your plate. The choice of food items is plenty and unique I am actually really happy that we found this place. If you’re one who is a big fan of poutine, this place would be suitable to try! I’m typically a simple type of food kind of person, so a lot of the choices were very busy for me so I only ordered the Mac and Cheese one and even that had many toppings to be honest. If you’re a picky eater or particular about your food mixing, this might be an issue for you - otherwise if you don’t mind many flavours coming together this an ideal place!

Such a hidden gem with a unique menu! We got the Supreme Fries with our choice of toppings and it was DELICIOUS 😍 There is seating inside and the space is clean (+ free wifi). Highly recommend checking out this spot! Really enjoyed the Supreme Fries, looking forward to trying more of the their menu next time 🤩

My first visit to Potato Bar was in December last year and since then I've been completely hooked. Potato Bar is the perfect spot to go to when you’re craving some tasty & filling food but not sure what you want exactly, because they have endless variations and options to play around with from savoury to sweet that’ll satisfy any and every craving. They have options no matter what your dietary restrictions are, from halal meat to vegetarian and vegan options. They also have insanely huge portions so it’s like 2 meals in 1 and always leaves me full without feeling overly unhealthy or gross. I can't recommend their supreme fries enough – loaded with cheese, coleslaw, chickpea salad and their shredded chicken, then topped with their chipotle and honey mustard sauce. It’s my go-to order and is an experience that hits the spot every time. The store’s decor is also always clean as well as so unique and modern, and you can see the time and effort put into it. The owners of Potato Bar deserve special recognition for their constant exceptional service, who are always extremely kind, greet you with a smile on their face, are helpful with recommendations, and make everything with love. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Potato Bar enough. All of my friends and family who I’ve told about Potato Bar have all loved it and keep coming back for more. The combination of their huge portions, fresh ingredients, diverse menu, accommodating options, outstanding service, and inviting atmosphere make it a must-try spot that’s worth the visit and the addiction that comes as a result.

Props to the owners on a unique restaurant idea. I LOVE potatoes cooked and served in any fashion so this was just my thing. Flavours were excellent. Gave 4 stars only because I found the price a little high for what it is…although I will say that the potatoes are a good size (bigger than your average grocery potato). Overall, my experience was great!! Also, the servers were friendly.

This place is amazing!! We went in yesterday for the grand opening and the food was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend this place to everyone!! I'll definitely be a regular customer cause I loved the place, staff and the tasty potato's!!

When I think Nashville chicken I think breaded/crunchy fried chicken with some kick - But it's just shredded chicken, and absolutely zero on the heat level. These were loaded up and tasty, and really filling so we could only eat half. Pretty decent overall because it's a unique option, tasty, and good for two meals. Will definitely be back to try some more.

One of the best things I have tried in a long time. We had the Mexican Fiesta and it was really really good. The meat was tender, all of the sauces were flavourful, and the toppings were great. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice too. A solid 5 star experience for me. Can’t wait to be back and try some of the other flavours.

A very unique experience for all potato lovers. I visited the place twice and the taste was same and on point. My all time favourite would be veggie tots- flavourful and filling. Other dishes we ordered was Nashville Chick, Mushroom Truffle, wings. Usually the wait time is around 10-15mins which is worth it. The staff is very helpful and friendly . I would like to mention “MO” very sweet and friendly guy. Place definitely worth the visit!

This potato bar is great! Portions are huge! Only issue is the temperature of the potato. Wish it was a little bit hotter. It was warm but not hot, and when you add cold toppings like sour cream or guacamole to the warm potato it gets cold fast. $63 bought us 3 potato’s and 3 drinks and we were all very full! Great service. Will come again.

This place was amazing. Their service is top tier and their food is even better. Their tater tot poutine was to die for. If you’re a big meat eater, I recommend the potato dog. Their atmosphere is very unique with fun little sayings all over. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. MUST try 😋

Went with the Big Philly with the smoked potato in this location and it DID NOT disappoint. The food absolutely goes hard and is packed with flavour. The staff is pretty friendly and the wait time for the food- at least my order (Eating with siblings, but didn’t take photos of their grub) took a surprisingly short amount of time to get to us, even with what we ordered. I would definitely come here again if if time permits. This is a very good restaurant!

The food was cooked to perfection! Definitely recommend the Suicide Wings for spicy lovers. I wasn't sure what toppings to pick but Omar was very knowledgeable and fixed up a delicious baked potato! I love these loaded baked and smoked potatoes! And also the fries are awesome. I've been to the store a couple of times and ordered deliver a couple of times. The food is always hot regardless. You wouldn't think this, but these potatoes are a serious meal. The service is great.

This was my first time trying this food. It's Tajikistanian street food. It was really great. It's a restaurant in a plaza, so don't expect anything fancy, but I didn't know about this plaza. It's in Mississauga and I'm never there, but I will start going because this plaza has so many interesting halal options and nice atmosphere. It reminds me of being in another country with all the different types of people eating outside and hanging out. There were young people, old people, and even some families. I was there on a nice summer night so that might have contributed to the good vibes.

Found Potato Bar in this great plaza full of food places. The staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent. I tried the Mexican Fiesta smoked potato and it was super good 🔥. The ingredients were fresh and the beef was so flavourful and juicy. Can't wait to try their other menu items. They also have fries if you don't want smoked potato, but you should definitely try it smoked first. Would love to see them add taters as an option as well since it fits their theme. Highly recommend!

The food is delicious & halal, the people are very kind (Musa and the whole crew are amazing guys!), and the overall environment is great! My favourite is the Mexican Fiesta with the fresh ingredients, the one order was enough for 2 people. It’s especially refreshing to have a much healthier alternative than your typical fast food options. Definitely check them out!

Potato Bar Located in Mississauga is surely a must try. The best thing about this place is that, you can build your own potato salad with your own favourite toppings. The quantity of the potato salad is pretty huge and best for sharing. Would highly recommend to try it out. The interior of this restaurant is quite average however loved the way they have displayed the quotes and images of potatoes all around the restaurant.

Amazing food. Utterly delicious. As a vegetarian, I was glad to see they were hygienic and didnt use the meat utensils for vegetarian options. Everything was done in front of us. I love to see more vegetarian options though. The owners are friendly and nice. I can't wait to go again :-).

Friendly staff. The vast variety of toppings is great! Tasty, unique concept; however, I just gave 4/5 as they need to evenly spread out/increase the meat topping quantity a little bit more as it was a little less and ran out too soon, so I had to eat the leftover potato on its own. Their poutine is decent as well.

The presentation of the food was perfect! The store is entertaining to look at, very cool! Customer service is on point! The owners Moussa & Bilal as well as the other men are so sweet! I was there on the opening day and went back the following day as well lol. The food tasted so good! 😋
