Melon is half-ready. Probably good for mailing service, but not so enjoyable to eat on the same day

These places are always good to buy local produce. They are a kind of community run type shop and so best supporting rather than going to the big chains. I have been to much better ones especially on ishigaki and Honshu, it’s still worth a visit and pick up some presents for people back home.

Large selection of mangoes and fruits. The ready-to-go meals in the shop are delicious as well.

The bakery and the bento section was amazing! Highly recommend grabbing some bread and a bento from here before heading to a beach.

Nice little shop with the general souvenirs and fresh fruits. Special thanks to the nice lady sharing the Okinawa sweets with my kids who were drooling at the sight of them

Pros: * It felt like home and I slept better than usual. * there was a reeeeally cheap gear rental: 500¥ for life jacket , laces, snorkeling set. * The host was really friendly and kind. On the first day they gave us a lot of good recommendations on where to go. * Parking was in 40 seconds walk. Con Walls are thin and I could hear sounds from living room (mostly just steps). It didn’t bother me at all, but could be annoying for some.
