The
nicest
hotel
and
largest
by
far
in
the
Aoshima
area.
Rooms
are
clean
and
tidy,
but
a
bit
dated.
All
rooms
have
ocean
view
facing
east
with
expansive
view
of
the
Aoshima
coast.
Windows
open
a
crack
so
can
get
some
ocean
vibe.
F&B
options
a
bit
limited
and
basic
food.
Breakfast
(included)
is
standard
Japan
hotel
fare,
Japanese
dishes,
omelet
station,
meats
and
bizarrely
Nepal
curry.
Built
during
the
1990’s
bubble
can
use
some
TLC.
Painting
in
the
hallways
is
chipped
and
the
building
seems
a
bit
tired.
Has
a
convenience
like
store
in
the
lobby
that
sells
gifts,
simple
food
items,
beverages,
and
alcohol.
The
pool
is
closed
and
the
Google
amenity
description
is
inaccurate.
NO
POOL.
I
get
the
impression
it’s
a
cost
saving
move,
but
disappointing
to
all
the
kids
who
can
see
it
empty
from
the
glass
elevators.
Hotel
has
an
onsen
type
bath,
great
for
relax
and
very
popular
with
guests
so
can
be
a
bit
crowded
during
busy
periods.
Coin
laundry
available.
Easy
access
to
the
walking
path
along
the
coast
line
and
surfing.
Lots
of
activities
available.
As
of
this
writing,
a
Lawson
convenience
store
will
open
in
July
2023
5
min
walk
so
more
options
for
takeaway
F&B
and
supplies
for
anyone
without
a
car.
Overall
a
decent
hotel
when
visiting
Aoshima.
Clean,
value,
and
convenient.
Most
guests
use
autos
or
tour
bus.
Access
by
train
is
limited
to
once/hour
service
on
the
Nichinan
line
and
10
min
walk
from
Kodomonokuni
Station.
