Rooms 3/5: Worn carpet, AC that doesn't work great view spacious room. Really needs a top to bottom overhaul. Service 1/5: when you pay £200/night one expects as an absolute minimum that the breakfast reflects that cost. At 9am after a huge queue the food or should I say what was left if the food was cold, no milk in the unattended coffee machines no croissants. Japanese breakfast seems to be a little better stocked. If you're a westerner i wouldn't recommend paying for breakfast at this hotel. There's better places in the town to spent your money. PS: the Chinese restaurant inside the hotel is massively overpriced for what you get. You get better more authentic Chinese food on the Highlands of Scotland than in here. What a waste of time and money. (Specifics: beef and oyster sauce didn't tast of anything and was unbelievably, oily the pancake rolls were deep fried and dried to a crisp and were of the type you would source at the the freezer section of the cheapest form of supermarket. They were inedible and i just left them. Truly awful meal for 5000Yen. Location 4/5: is good but where it dropped a point was that there wasn't any restaurant choice immediately in the vicinity which would have been good the second night after the Chinese meal the previous night. Considering the price it really is very poor value for money. I'm writing this as I have my "breakfast" four dried miniscule cinnamon pastries two fried dried rubbery eggs and a tomato juice... not bad for £200 eh. For coffee I'll be going for a walk to aoshima beach park the coffee machine had no milk for 20 minutes so by the time it was topped up I'd finished. Breakfast without a coffee is not a breakfast

Chef was kind enough to prepare pure vegetarian dishes for breakfast. And for my husband the chef prepared special egg white omelette on request. All of their staff members are pretty friendly especially Tran, Kiran & Simone. Thank you for the wonderful experience. The view from all of their rooms is amazing. My kid loved the adventure land and playing on the beach which is right opp to the resort.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel, despite really wet weather. The rooms are rather dated and need an update, but they are a good size. The location is great and is right on the beach. Service was good and it was rather quiet. Breakfast was decent. I’m not sure if this is the way it is always served or was just due to the pandemic, but we were handed our trays with our bento boxes of food. Two things worth mentioning about location are that it is right near to turtle nesting grounds. There are nests marked up and down the beach, so I imagine it must be wonderful when the turtles hatch. The other thing is that it’s close to many places in Aoshima, including the shrine. Lots to see and do. The hotel gets three stars due to need for an update, but also because of lack of included amenities. I would have thought a beach hotel might offer discounts for guests for utilizing paddle boards, etc., but it didn’t seem we were offered these things. Also, my understanding was there is a fee to use the pool, which seemed a little ridiculous to me.

The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety and delicious taste. I stayed in a Japanese-style room and it was very comfortable. The hot springs made my skin smooth and it was great!

Nice hotel just off the beach. Popular with surfers and holiday makers. Short walk to Aoshima.

The nicest hotel and largest by far in the Aoshima area. Rooms are clean and tidy, but a bit dated. All rooms have ocean view facing east with expansive view of the Aoshima coast. Windows open a crack so can get some ocean vibe. F&B options a bit limited and basic food. Breakfast (included) is standard Japan hotel fare, Japanese dishes, omelet station, meats and bizarrely Nepal curry. Built during the 1990’s bubble can use some TLC. Painting in the hallways is chipped and the building seems a bit tired. Has a convenience like store in the lobby that sells gifts, simple food items, beverages, and alcohol. The pool is closed and the Google amenity description is inaccurate. NO POOL. I get the impression it’s a cost saving move, but disappointing to all the kids who can see it empty from the glass elevators. Hotel has an onsen type bath, great for relax and very popular with guests so can be a bit crowded during busy periods. Coin laundry available. Easy access to the walking path along the coast line and surfing. Lots of activities available. As of this writing, a Lawson convenience store will open in July 2023 5 min walk so more options for takeaway F&B and supplies for anyone without a car. Overall a decent hotel when visiting Aoshima. Clean, value, and convenient. Most guests use autos or tour bus. Access by train is limited to once/hour service on the Nichinan line and 10 min walk from Kodomonokuni Station.

Stayed one night here and we drove. Free parking. Hotel was right on the beach and you can see the sunrise from your room as per the photo uploaded. However room was quite old and there’s not much amenities around the area. It was spacious though. You can walk to Aoshima from the hotel. Would recommend if you drive or stop over and not fussy about having a modern high tech room. Given the price, it was great.

I stayed here with my family, Room was lovely and we were given a good view of the beach. The bed was comfortable and quiet. The onsen was clean and the water was hot. When it came to the dinner service, the evening meal was not so special and I found the meat quality to be low and lacking in taste. The breakfast was marginally better. I felt the hotel was best suited for the surfing type. I would not personally book another stay at this hotel, but my feeling is neutral.
