I visited shrine, beach shops. Good traveller places. Pacific ocean: nice view point.

Souvenir shop usual selection of tourist goods. Restaurant expensive, not particularly good with mediocre service. Oily fries, soggy pizza, chewy noodles. Menu very small, and most damning of all, no kids choices, a strange decision given the large number of children at Aoshima.

Eh not much to do here apart from the shrine on the island. I wouldn’t stay here overnight and it wouldn’t really be more than a half day trip from miyazaki. When the weather is nice, it’s nice to visit. There are people selling mangos and oranges. Beware though in off peak season a lot of things aren’t open, which is a shame. So the vibe isn’t very interesting.

Very good selection at this souvineir shop. Clean bathrooms and a good resturant inside too! Taco plate was a big portion.

Great place for getting goods and food while travelling. However, the curry I ate was not spicy at all, and me and my friends were shocked at the price tag of ice cream being 550 yen ($6.10 usd). But, the ice cream was very good, and the vanilla versions being particularly better than most I’ve eaten. I would recommend this place if you want to have a taste of everything.

Amazing store! Great selection of Omiyage, Japanese Sake and has a cafe that sells the most amazing mango soft-serve!!

You can find various of local souvenirs. There is a cozy restaurant and cafe inside to recharge your energy with scrumptious cuisines, I suggest you to try the seafood menu.

This is a cute botanical garden right off the beach. Such a nice area to spend the day with lots around to enjoy.

Had excellent Nanban chicken lunch in the restaurant. A great place to shop and eat in Aoshima.
