Love this renovated mix use development in Charlotte. We went to this location for the Wednesday night farmers market and loved the murals, repurposed manufacturing equipment, and outdoor areas. There were work areas, retail spaces, eateries and a brewery, event space and they were still working on much of it. A perfect combo of old and new that felt fresh and fun. I highly recommend a visit and a long walk around the campus. I loved this space so much I created a whole post about it. Can't wait to see how it continues to evolve.

We have been hearing about Camp North End so we took the drive last Saturday. This place gives us the Eastern Market (DETROIT) vibes. If you’re from Michigan or have visited you know how beloved that market is to the Detroit people. Camp North End is still under construction. We noticed a few restaurants & we were hoping to see more but no matter- this development is so darn awesome. The art, the repurposed material- all worth a trip to check out. The history alone: was this a Ford plant once? A missile plant? That’s what my husband found in a search. While checking it out. Getting hungry? Grab some lunch from the open establishments. My husband researched and found that Camp North End have a farmer’s market from April to October. That sounds nice. We’ll need to check that out. When we visited on Saturday it was cold & icy so we didn’t get to explore as much as we wanted. We’ll definitely be back & we’ll share with our neighbors in DAVIDSON as we learn more.

Where do I even start? As an architect and urban designer I might be biased about this place but I promise no matter your background there’s something you will love and enjoy here. This former manufacturing site is slowly adapting its buildings to accommodate for restaurants and retail. I went on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn’t very lively but I can’t wait to return on a Friday evening. My favorite things were the abundance of art and the landscape design, beautiful harmless bees everywhere 🤩

Camp was super fun, but it’s definitely still an area that’s up and coming. It’s cool now, but six months or a year from now, it’s going to be ready for prime time. We especially loved the diversity of businesses and art in the area and can’t wait to come back and see what it becomes.

This was a great facility in which to host the Van Gogh Immersion Experience. Very spacious. View of the Immersion was clear and breath- taking. I highly recommend the 'inner seating' so you get the full view. The facility is an old mill with original wooden brick and cement flooring. Take a pillow to sit on. The metal benches are just that: hard metal! BE AWARE: Uneven floor surface in some areas (possible trip hazard for mobility impaired folks).

This place is amazing! There are a ton of food vendors, small businesses, art murals, and even a farmers market. A friend and I met up here while I was visiting for work. It’s perfect for a quick bite and something to do. All of the food was great. There were a lot of black owned businesses to support. There were a ton of unique products to buy and a lot of art to look at at absolutely no cost. Very cool experience.

A hidden gem in Charlotte. Try visiting on a Friday or Saturday evening, when there is some art exhibit in good year arts. This place has a different vibe all together which can only be experienced. Has a big parking lot, small brewery and food stalls…

Very cool place in Charlotte ! Definitely an upcoming development that is set to put This area on the map. This campus is so large and has a lot of fun activities to do that are open to the public. There’s plenty of sitting areas and a lot of shops with more to come. I just loved the vibe here and will definitely come back during my next trip to Charlotte.

We went for the Van Gogh exhibit--which was incredible! I had been to all of Blumenthal's locations except this one, and I'm going to have to go back. It's a really cool place. There's art everywhere and several restaurants on the grounds.

Very beautiful place to spend an evening. Also, learn little bit of history! Mostly eateries but nicely laid out ! Though some regular food outlets, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops available, the most attraction is at the individual campers - many with various motives. Don't miss out evening time when lighting. Enough car parking, dining tables, relaxing benches available to spend the evening!

We went on a Friday evening to enjoy the live music which was great. Enjoyed the food choices and the fun, eclectic atmosphere -all the swings, Lego play area, art, and native gardens. In December, the Mistletoe Market is festive, and an ice-skating rink with a lodge and snow globes replaces the Lego play area.

An old factory complex repurposed as a beautiful public space with lots of art, music, classes, and events. There's stuff to do and nice places to chill out with no pressure to spend money. The landscaping is kept a little wild in places, attracting birds and butterflies. If you feel like spending money, there's an assortment of shops and food trucks. This is by far my favorite place in the city. Great vibes all around!

A cool industrial area that's been revitalized into an area with shops and restaurants. They have a brewery which allows customers to take their beer anywhere within Camp North End. I deducted a star overall because even though they have multiple parking lots it took us a while to find a spot because they were all taken. It was a Saturday and I'm sure that had a lot to do with it but it's always a little annoying to get somewhere and have to drive around waiting for someone to leave to take their parking spot. Overall such a cool place! Next time I'm in Charlotte I would definitely go back when I have more time and check out the rest of the shops.

This location offers a pleasant environment for strolling and appreciating the decor and design contributions of local artists. At the time of our visit, not all businesses were open. The summer heat can be somewhat intense, as the majority of the venue is outdoors. However, we remain optimistic that given time, this will become a popular destination for dining and relaxation. The space appears to host events periodically, adding to its appeal.”

Camp North End is absolutely an amazing attraction all year.. This holiday season is definitely a must do. They have ice skating, great food and shops you'll love. I took the grandbabies there yesterday, 12/3, for a photoshoot. They had so much fun playing on swings and free games throughout Camp North End that they forgot it was a photo shoot, and the pics were great. Great for date night, kids' night or a sole visit; you won't be disappointed.. Check it out!!

One of my favorite places to visit when I'm in town. I've seen it go from one open retail space to a whole city of art, fashion and food. I love it here❤️

👍👍 A very unique place! We were coming down to shop in a market for Mediterranean foods, and we did a pitstop to walk in uptown for a bit. My husband noticed a few people coming out of Latta arcade so we were curious and walked in. This reminds me of the arcade up in Asheville and it’s also a historica...
