Upon
hearing
there
was
local
thrift
store
in
my
area,
i
was
exited
to
see
what
unique
and
interesting
clothing
options,
that
i
most
likely
wouldnt
find
at
value
village.
Upon
entering
with
my
partner,
we
realized
how
cramped
the
space
is,
normally
i
dont
mind,
you
take
space
where
you
find
it,
but
there
was
just
random
clutter
about,
where
i
was
expecting
to
find
clothes.
The
first
thing
we
spyed
as
we
made
our
way
inside
was
some
nice
dresses...only
to
find
out
they
were
$100+
dollars.
My
partner
gave
me
a
look
of
"are
they
serious?"
Before
i
realized,
and
pointed
out
these
are
locally
made,
so
in
my
head
i
could
justify
the
price.
Looking
further,
the
main
issue
i
had
was
the
lack
of
styles,
and
the
prices.
When
i
go
thrifting
for
fun
clothes,
i
expect
to
pay
about
10-15
dollars,
not
$40
for
some
decent
designs
that
will
be
out
of
style
next
year.
The
feel
is
"trendy
thrift
store"
for
tik
tok,
instagram,
etc
to
say
that
you
"thrifted
it"which
is
fine,
but
its
really
just
gentrification.
Again,
the
store
is
nice
and
the
staff
are
decent,
just
i
really
wouldnt
say
its
a
thrift
store,
more
the
idea
of
one
through
the
lense
of
social
media
influencers
