The pizza here is great and the price would keep me coming back. Unfortunately, my experience with the lady who handles the register has been negative the two times I've come here. The first time I came to look at the menu, she was impatient and seemed to want me gone, but I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. My second visit I decided to order a coffee and asked the differences between the mocha latte, cappuccino and cafe latte on the menu. She only wanted to answer me with 'they have milk'. I tried to ask her to be more specific but she said she had to take care of other customers and left while I was trying to order. About 5 minutes later she came back and I decided it was best I just pick a coffee than ask any more questions. After my coffee I decided to order pizza but was told if I were to have it, I wasn't allowed to sit in the dining area of the restaurant, but instead close to the register. I didn't understand this, but I moved over and ordered a Chicken BBQ pizza and garlic fingers. When my pizza arrived I noticed it had onions on it, when the french menu only had chicken and mushrooms as listed ingredients. I didn't mind this as the onions were easy to take off, but I figured I should point it out so they could correct their french menu. I told her there were onions on the pizza and immediately she told me I was responsible for my own allergies. I explained I don't mind, but that the french menu was wrong and showed it to her. She flipped it over to the english side where the onions are listed there, so I had to flip it over to the french menu again and read it out loud to her. She didn't apologize for not believing me, only saying she would tell the owner. At this point I figured she just had something against me, but sitting so close to the register I was able to observe her being very selective about who she was short with. With some customers she was actually very nice. A couple of ladies came in and ordered coffee and she was kind to them, offering if they would like a ceramic coffee cup rather than the takeout paper kind. I don't know why, but she never asked me the same and just gave me the paper. It's a real shame because otherwise this was a good experience. The other staff member there was kind when he served my pizza. I would like to go back, but I don't want to be treated so poorly again.

Great first experience. It was after breakfast, but the owner was happy to make me a breakfast sandwich anyway. I asked for a cup of tea with milk and sugar, expecting the condiments on the side, but moments later he came by with a perfect cup of tea. My sandwich came out shortly after and was perfectly seasoned, very tasty, and generally I could tell there was attention to detail. I will be back here soon. Thanks La Vida Café!

I got the deli sandwhich. Which was 8.99$ on the board. Add 1$ for cheese. Server asked me if I want to upgrade to the platter meal. I say ok. In the end with taxes it was now almost 19$. I understand the taxes but what in the world could be worth that big a price hike? I'm thinking rice, salad, pita, drink and/or other stuff... NOPE. It was french fries, AND NO DRINK. not counting taxes they hiked the the price about 7-8$ for f ING french fries and not even a soda drink. I'm not eating here anymore.

Had Fish and Chip today and a cold beer. The fish was a little warm and chips were cold. Only ate very little of my lunch. Sue, a very nice girl, did not ask me why I only ate very little of my lunch. She also charged me full price for my beer, went the front sign said it was happy hour. This was my place to have my beer and fries and gravy. I must said that you just lost a customer.

The food is absolutely fantastic, overall its a great little spot. But false advertising (by the owner who justs sits there and drinks ) and waitresses who bring their bad vibes, its such a shame it takes away from the overall experience

Ate here before an event at Avenir. It was very busy. This crew was not organized for a busy restaurant. Staff were pleasant when they did finally serve us. It seemed to be the first day for a few staff. We got chicken wings which seemed to be No Name brand wings. The IPA beer was from NS and it was fantastic. The place seemed clean and the decor was warm and relaxing.

Came to try their new Breakfast Menu, as a Lebanese, I've been craving good Knafeh since I arrived to Moncton three years ago.. It was so delicious and got me back home with the taste. A must try, once or twice at least 😉

I honestly don't have much to say about the restaurant. It's a nicely decorated place, but we expected a different kind of food because of the restaurant's name. We tried the hamburger and a wrap, but honestly, we didn't find it tasty, relatively very ordinary and with a very general taste. Anyway, other dishes may be better, but I don't think we will eat here again in the future if we visit Moncton.

Ordered a Shawarma Pizza and it wasn't great. Dough was undercooked and the toppings dry. Overall very bland. Maybe pizza isn't their thing, the rest of the menu looks tasty.

Got donairs online from here they tasted bad like the meet was imported frozen and the sauce had gone bad wasn’t even able to pick out the topping. I might still try the pizza and see but they should stop selling the donairs.

This little resto is cute. But they should definately take the word "pizza" out of the title. I was reading reviews and thought, it can't be that bad... well, it took me by surprise when the pizza and garlic fingers was just so bland. I mean frozen has a hint of flavor, this just doesn't. No joke. After carefully examining the crust, I think it's missing sugar. For the sauce, it's missing a lot sadly. Can't taste Basil, tomatoes...you know that yummy Pizza sauce everyone is use to no matter the kind. Yeah! This one just...has nothing to give. Advice, get rid of the pizza idea. Stick to the bar theme with nachos, wings etc...

Went in at 12pm was asked why I had an LGTBQ sticker on my work badge then asked if I supported it, thinking it was just chit chat I Then ordered and as time passed others showed up 15,20 mins after us. Our water wasn’t topped up. The other peoples food was served and more time passed - at 12:55 I was get annoyed got up to asked about food but owner decided to go in kitchen and not come out. Left at the point as it was absolutely ridiculous. Do not recommend this spot as not everyone seems to be welcomed or treated equally.

First time visit based on previous reviews. Not disappointed. Received an exceptionally warm welcome by the presumed owner. Great menu. Ordered fried clams and Greek salad. Both very good. Would have liked to see more clams for the price, but this may just reflect these inflationary times. Red wine was very good. Seldom have we received such sincere and excellent service. Highly recommend!

Hello Googlers! Thanks for having a read at my thoughts on La Vida Café. This place has a great outdoor patio and a generous drink menu. Inside vibe is very relaxing, not over crowded with tables, and plenty of booths. First and foremost the pizza is definitely there specialty thin crust and ample cheese and at $14.99 for a 9 inch very reasonably priced and delicious. The second meal we had was a "Halifax" Donair. Unfortunately not their best product. At $17.99 and sporting the Halifax name you might be thinking you would get a 1 lb meat monster. Regrettably however it appears to me there Donair is only a grocery store Donair kit that is sparing on the meat. Although the best version of a Donair kit, still just a kit. Over all I would definitely recommend this place for the drinks, patio, and pizza.

Went there multiple times and was always impressed with the food...Best chicken fingers I've ever had. Nachos and Donairs are also amazing. Food and beer prices are inexpensive. Very recommended to try out!

La Vida has a really good pizza and excellent garlic finger. Good crust, great sauce, not too greasy like other places! Issam and his wife and hardworking and very friendly. Had a good chat with him this evening while waiting for my order. They have lunch, too and good prices. Love supporting a local business. Keep up the good work :)

A Review for La Vida Cafe & Resto-Bar: Stopped in a busy part of downtown a place to try, was not disappointed in any manner. Worth every minute to stop, tried a greek salad which was very tasty & delicate; good by all means & ratio of herbs and sauce and veggies where very pleasant. On top of this, a few garnished olives on salad which made my day! I then proceeded a few days latter to try the burger platter. The burger a moist tender & well done patty of beef! The Burger with a very well balanced garnish & Cheese, made me come twice in the same day... The fries where well seasoned: with some mild paprika, I suspect spices of some sort? I may suggest the seconds with greek salad;-) I didn't try the Bar cocktail's, I suspect they may have more hidden Gems all around this professional restaurant! Clean, Modern Decoration; While Peaceful music and Video on screens remind us of travels to destinations. The atmosphere is relaxing while enjoying a meal! La Vida Cafe & Resto-Bar Thank you! I hope to stop by soon again! REYJAL Remy In Beautiful Moncton, New Brunswick; Canada
