There
are
some
people
who
are
so
passionate
about
their
craft
or
trade
or
subject
that
it
shows.
The
couple
who
run
this
tearoom
are
such
people.
I
will
go
as
far
as
to
say
my
experience
getting
high
tea
here
was
superior
even
to
the
Fairmont
Empress
in
Victoria,
BC.
Firstly,
you
chose
your
teacup
from
a
collection
of
carefully
curated
vintage
antique
teacups
with
some
spanning
over
200
years
of
age.
The
couple
who
run
it
apparently
collect
such
tea
cups
from
auctions
in
Europe
and
across
Canada.
Secondly,
the
selection
of
teas
was
SUPERB,
with
high-end
hard
to
find
teas
from
the
old
Singapore
tea
company
TGW.
This
place
and
another
in
Vancouver
are
apparently
the
only
places
in
Canada
you
can
sample
them.
Thirdly,
the
host
was
extremely
knowledgeable
and
passionate
about
tea.
He
was
also
kind
enough
to
offer
a
third
pot
of
tea
to
us.
Fourth,
the
ambiance
and
seating
arrangement
was
beautiful...it
looked
like
you
were
sitting
in
Europe.
Fifth,
the
food
associated
with
high
tea
was
INSANE.
Beautifully
made
cucumber
sandwiches
and
an
incredible
smoked
salmon
sandwich
with
fresh
dill
from
the
host's
personal
garden
in
little
croissants.
The
non-alcoholic
champagne
was
also
amazing.
As
were
the
desserts.
This
was
one
of
the
best
experiences
I've
ever
had
at
a
restaurant
let
alone
a
tea
house.
I
just
wish
I
lived
closer
to
Moncton,
to
experience
this
place
again
and
again.
