I am originally from Toronto and used to Kinton style ramen with true bone broth and I was not expecting to find such a place here in Moncton. It's been over a year since I've had good ramen and let me tell you it was worth the wait. Perfectly cooked egg, noodles and the broth is truly creamy, silky, delicious and nourishing. The homestyle ramen you crave. We were also given a complimentary side dish of japchae which was so good and made me cry because I'm also Korean and I haven't had japchae in a year. GAMSAHAMNIDA. I'm never going anywhere else for ramen and sushi!

Wonderful Asian restaurant that serves Korean and Japanese dishes. They have a good variety. I really enjoyed the Gamjatang (pork bone soup) which is served with rice - it also has burdock and mushrooms which is a first for me to try. It has a good spicy flavour and really nice to have now that it is getting cold. The beef galbi was good too, on the sweeter side, on a sizzling plate and served with rice. The tteokboki was also nice but again on the sweeter side if you like it. It has vegetables, r fish cakes and a boiled egg. The volcano roll was also surprisingly good! It’s deep fried so it’s warm. We're ordered take-out from Big Bowl before and always happy! First time eating in, and it was a lovely experience. Netsu Ramen was amazing, perfect amount of spices, meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender! Prices are good, portions are extremely generous (that bowl will make me one if not two lunches!), service is excellent. Highly recommend!

Great place, love the atmosphere Not a huge Ramen fan and this was by far the best ramen I have had.

The ramen is amazing. Chashu is very tasty. Portions are generous. The japchae tasted very authentic. We loved the gyozas as well. We'll be trying the dolsot bibimbap next time. Staff are very nice. This Japanese/Korean restaurant certainly is a welcome addition to the city.

Cozy resto in Elmwood Dr. Our server was really friendly. We ordered the ones that says HOT on the menu and did not disappoint! Kimchi and japchae was on the house.

Everything is delicious 🤤 the sushi is a must. The service is much better than my house 😅

Its a really nice place to eat. The portions are also plenty. The service is also really nice too. Everytime our water runs out someone comes and fill it up before we even asked. Definitely a good place to eat if your hungry. If you have high spice tolerance I personally think you wouldn't need to worry about their spice level. I had a level four chili- it wasn't that spicy but its enough for a spicy meal and not that bland- For me anyway. You should definitely try this place out if your looking for a ramen place.

A beautiful small place with authentic, tasty and vibrant food. A great place to enjoy dinner with the family. Hot sauce served on the side- is a must for anybody who loves spicy food. Enjoyed every bit of it. *was impressed by a compliment for my birthday from the owners' family and staff.

Absolutely a great spot need to be checked out. Foods were great and there were also amazing. Now I know why they are called Big Bowl. My bowl of ramen wasn’t just big but filled with stuffs too, not just soup.

Great place to stop by if you’re looking for real Asian cuisine in the area. We don’t have many places to find a REAL Asian style food like here in Atlantic Canada. Nice staff, quick service and above all, great food at a reasonable price.

Looking for Japanese and Korean food? Come and try here at Big Bowl! We ordered appetizers Chicken Karaage (taste like amost the same of 台灣繼光香香雞🇹🇼) and Takoyaki. For ramen we ate Tonkatsu and Netsu 👍🏻 Kudos to Amy(owner of the Big Bowl) for such great customer service and we love your food ❤️👍🏻

Was craving some fried rice for lunch so I checked out Big Bowl for the first time as it's the closest to where I live. FINALLY! Fried rice in New Brunswick that's served with egg on top 😋 it was absolutely delicious. I added pork with mine, full of savory flavors; not too salty or greasy. Was ready for pick up in under 15min! Nice portion size that made me feel satisfied for lunch. I'll definitely try to dine inside at some point in the future!

Great Koren and Japanese food. Everything we ordered was delicious. We got Beef Galbi (Korean beef ribs), Kimbap (Korean style maki rolls), Japchae (stir fried glass noodles). Most main dishes come with a miso soup and salad. We ate a little bit before taking the photo. Definitely recommend.

They are not joking when they say 'big bowl' haha portions are huge! So much food for a great price and everything was delicious. By far the best ramen I've had in Moncton and the service was excellent. Will definitely be returning.

Right name for the place. They serve you big bowl will make you full. If you like spicy seafood you should try their spicy seafood soup it was delicious, fresh and big amount. Friendly stuff too. Will go again for sure

I am a new comer in Moncton and haven’t tried many restaurants but I believe here could be one of the best Korean restaurants all over Canada. I even haven’t tried so delicious Korean food in China (China also have many Korean restaurants) it definitely worth the decent price, awesome taste, idk how to describe but it was so amazing, top top top dishes. I live a bit far so use delivery platform, the takeout package very good as well. Whenever I would like to eat Korean food, absolutely come to order again.

My wife and I are extremely happy to report we have found our go to ramen restaurant in Mkncton! After a long search for a good authentic Japanese/Korean, we happened to come across this awesome restaurant located off Elmwood. The restaurant is clean and well laid out, with friendly staff/owners. Our first (take-out) order consisted of the following: Tonkotsu Ramen Big Bowl Ramen Dynamite Roll The bone broth went well with our ramen, it was not only delicious but was very flavourful...everything a good bone broth should be! The charsu was well seasoned throughout, and was well portioned in relation to the Ramen,/soup ratio! Their soft-boiled eggs were cooked perfectly, and delicious. Our Dynamite Roll was fresh and well balanced and was a hit. We were fortunate to have some of their japchae and are happy to report it was yummy. For our first time, it was amazing to find great authentic Japanese/Korean food--we definitely recommend everyone to give Big Bowl a try, you will love it! We will definitely be back to try even more from their menu, if it's anything like our first foray, it will be awesome!
