Dr.Sirhan is the best. He is kind and patient and answers all questions as well as being a fantastic surgeon. You cannot go wrong with him. I was so blessed to have him do my operation for Cushing's disease.

I've been on hold for an hour just to speak to reception and change an appointment I've never seen anything like this before. I will update once I've seen a doctor but right now I am incredibly displeased with this hospital you should never have to wait this long just to modify an appointment.

I had an appointment scheduled months ago but my neurologist never showed up. I informed the receptionist about it and she told me that someone would get back to me. I left another 3 messages yet I still have no answer over a month later. Finally when my mom tried calling from another # they picked up and said they would get into contact with me ASAP yet I still have not heared from them. Being a health care professional myself, I am in totally in shock by the way I'm being treated. All I'm asking is for a call back so I can know whats going on. I am not one to complain but this is ridiculous. I feel totally discouraged and unsupported.

This hospital is extremely disorganized with patient care. The staff seem way overworked and their policies are beyond ridiculous and endanger their patients.

Following a transfer from St Mary's Hospital. I was hospitalized at the Montreal Neurological Institute following a grade 3 aneurysm for a few weeks. They saved my life after I fell into a coma. I must say that I was surprised to see all the staff were friendly, and very attentive to my needs and willing to answer all my questions. I would like to thank all the staff on the 4th floor of Intensive Care for your wonderful work. You are angels of God. Thank you for giving me a second life without too many after-effects.

Dr Feindel was my neurosugeon back in 1984. I had epilepsy and he performed “ The Montreal Procedure” on me. It was a miracle for me. I never had another seizure again. I returned to The Neuro in 2011 to participate in a research study that Dr Feindel was working on. It was an honor to meet him again. Shortly after his death in January 2014; I received a copy of the book he wrote: “ The Wounded Brain”. This facility is the best neurosurgery center in the world. I am from the United States. No doctors over here could diagnose me correctly of help me. God Bless Dr Feindel, Dr Milner and all of the staff at this wonderful facility. Thank you All.

Was there on October 20,2012 for a grade 4 brain aneurysm and was also in a coma for 40 days. They saved my life and thank God they were there when I needed them . I was rushed there after Valleyfield Regional Hospital we’re unable to do anything because it was a Saturday morning and they did not have the doctors or equipment to operate on me. It will be 10 years this year in October. Although I had to relearn how to walk, talk and drive my car again I am very grateful for what they did to me. Thank you Montreal Neurological Hospital for giving me a second chance. Regards, Alfio Arciero

The secretary are insanely rude and racist too (especially to my mom). We were just asking some questions normally for futur appointments. They straight up just said no and go back to your home city. My mom has cancer and she is stressed about it. I know people are overworked there , but that kind of attitude shouldn't be tolerated anywhere. Also, the doctors never respect their appointment time (it's fine if we have to wait 2-4 h beyond our schedule time). But to reschedule our appointment 1-2 weeks after the date promised cause the doctor was too busy should not be okay. From friends experiences: once they were supposed to meet with the doctor, but since the doctor was too busy they had to meet up with an assistant that barely did anything. Hopefully the next few appointments would be able to change my perspective about this place, but currently they have no respect for the patients there and can even put their lives in danger.

So far, I'm impressed. You don't wait for too long to see a doctor. Doctors seem to be very knowledgeable and my neurologist listens to what you have to say and can explain what are her findings for you to understand. Appointments are on time and the staff very dedicated. This is the place to go for neurologic problems.

Doctors are good, but we have to wait at least an hour, but mostly more to see the doc for an appointment. Today we had an 11 am appointment, we only saw the doc at 12:30.

Great staff, great doctors. It's too bad they can't organize better to not have people waiting for hours for scheduled appointments.

I am a new patient at the Neuro Institute. The Dr I saw was really nice and gave me a lot of confidence. I put 4 stars only because when I went to get my hospital card the woman who gave me the service was not done well. She practically threw me my hospital card and a pencil to write on, as if it didn't matter. I hope she can improve the service.

I've undergone numerous tests and two Brain Surgeries at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital All the Nurses, Technicians, Medical Staff, Residences, my Neurologist and Neuro Surgeon were so amazing. I felt and was always treated like I was part of a family of all the wonderful Staff members. I'd drop by every few months after appts to say Hi; get my "Family Hugs" etc. My life has totally changed for the better and Thank all whom kept me smiling and laughing even when the going was tough!!🤗

Very disappointing, the clinic ended up calling me, I got a telephone appointment 1 month later, they sent me a confirmation text 2 days before to tell me the time of my appointment. I never received the call from the doctor, I called the clinic to leave a message, the secretary called me the next day to tell me that the telephone appointment is made after the clinics and that they will be informed of the week, so I lost half a day of work at my expense. I will wait for the call but I am not sure I will be able to answer since I work in the hospital environment

Excellent experience with Dr. Moussady. Very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer your questions and explain things. I went in for an injection into nerves in my head and he was very gentle.

I feel understood and had answers to most of my questions. I had 2 surgeries here with Mcgill students following my experience. Went 8yrs seizure free after surgery with meds, now 2yrs seizure free. 💜

The receptionist for Dr. Frauscher is very kind. However, other than her, everything else has been a disaster. I’ve been calling for months and have yet to get a call back. I took off work for a scheduled phone appointment and I never got a call. I’ve been stressed, lost so much time and money and have had horrible service with little to no feedback from anyone following my tests (EEG + MRI). I highly suggest going anywhere else.

The nursing staff are great, attentive, and helpful. The staff always seem to be smiling knowing that their days can be demanding and stressful. And I couldn't ask for a better neurosurgeon. This is a place that cares and I am happy to be a patient here, even though I am ready to get home.

I would like to use the opportunity to extent my thanks and gratitude to the staff at the Montreal Neurological Institute. My mother was accepted as a transfer on Jan 23rd, 2022 and sadly passed on Jan 24th, 2022. My mother was a young physically and mentally fit person and we were ins shock by what had occurred to her. Although her fate was already determined, the team at the MNI took the time to do more tests, provide explanations and treated our family extremely well. The teams from nursing, doctors, security, house-keeping worked together to accommodate our family needs. They all went above and beyond to help us through this difficult time. My many thanks to Dr. Vieira and Dr. Teitelbaum and their teams for all their work and support. Our city is truly blessed to have such a great hospital filled with truly amazing and compassionate professionals.

I visited my cousin who had a serious case issue in her back, the food offered for patients needs to be tailored to the needs of every patient, and it was not freshly made… a call to nutritionists and health organization to take care of this issue please.
