My wife and I had the most amazing meal at this small town restaurant. The people are friendly and the food is to die for. We have traveled from Amsterdam to Paris to Bayeux to Munich. This is the best food we found. Even the French fries were incredible. I don’t know how they did it. We shared a salted caramel, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream crepe for dessert. I have never experienced anything like that. The crepe and caramel were warm. The ice cream and whipped cream were cold. I could taste each individual flavor and sense the temperatures of the ingredients. Nothing “mushed” together to make a single flavor or temperature. SIMPLY AMAZING!

My favorite restaurant in Sainte-Mere-Eglise. Kind, friendly family service and the food is really good. They are patient with my horrible French, and it's very comfortable.

Very friendly place. Make sure to book in advance as the place is full all the times. Reasonable prices. Great frites Maison. I recommend the cider drink by the tap. Also, the dessert called Alambric.

The best meal I've had since we have been here! Everything was outstanding and vert delicious. Highly recommended.

Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful city. Most of the drinks were D-Day themed, but we were here for the anniversary. The 300g "Rib Steak" was excellent! If you are planning on visiting, try to arrive about 10 minutes before they open. They fill quickly, and don't take reservations. We ended up waiting for a table, but it was well woth it.

Appeared worse than expected based on the other reviews, mainly due to service (it seemed that it was the last day before long holidays and the staff was too tired). The food (traditional ham and cheese pancake and steak) was reasonably good.

This is a wonderful creperie just of the square in St. Mere Eglise. We went for dinner, and they had a wonderful selection of galettes, which are a buckwheat version of a crepe. I had a yummy gallette with chorizo and local cheese. This is not a tourist place. It was full of locals, and our party was immediately marked as out of towners. You’ll want to brush up on your French, as the staff were not even reluctant English speakers, but our teenage waitress was attentive and friendly. When we go back to Normandy, we will visit Chez Jeanne again.

I saw this place recommended on YouTube and came by here on my recent trip to Paris. I was pretty early and probably their first customer of the day. The server there was extremely warm and friendly. One of the best service I’ve had in Paris. I had their crepes and I loved it and the atmosphere of the little restaurant.

The Gallettes and the service was superb, a real tonic on a Monday night having driven up from Pau.
