Our
Lady
of
Aparecida
Metropolitan
Cathedral
Its
construction
began
in
the
1.92Ø
decade
and
was
completed
in
1.95Ø.
It
has
architectural
characteristics
in
the
neo-Gothic
style,
bringing
as
significant
elements
verticalism,
the
rose
window,
stained
glass
windows,
needlework
endings
and
the
use
of
tracery
and
reliefs
in
the
exterior
ornamentation.
Its
external
structure
has
a
central
tower
and
two
smaller
ones
on
the
sides,
all
of
its
windows
are
made
of
colored
stained
glass
with
gold
and
silver
details
and
the
altars
have
representations
of
noble
families
from
the
time
of
construction,
with
the
ceiling
being
a
measured
barrel
vault,
without
decoration.
.
Apparently
very
well
preserved
from
the
outside
and
you
can
see
its
towers
from
afar.
