Really friendly service. Authentic food that was delicious. Affordable prices. Some seating outside but additional seating inside downstairs. I would recommend checking it out

The gyro wrap was SUPREME and had my body warmed up and my belly satisfied till dinner. The Mediterranean salad was a nice addition as well.

The food is good although you can't really make sense of a menu. But the woman who is always there is incredibly off-putting. I ordered the same thing on two separate occasions and the second time I was asked about a side item which confused me because I wasn't asked that the first time. She immediately starts screaming at me that the guy was asking about sides. Still not knowing what the sides were I ask about my options. She was still kind of being belligerent so I just said no sides. When we try to pay she starts loudly talking at us about how long they've been around and that they are an institution like Georgia State University. The food is good but not good enough to offset the crazy and abrasive.

I ordered myself the falafel wrap and my husband had the kabeb both were extra tasty! I usually don't do many spicy foods, due to no gallbladder but I'm glad I did come today. It was super delicious. The workers were friendly and understanding. A tiny bit crowded in the restaurant but overall delicious(and messy, hence my spoon to eat the filling!) and will be back!

GSU student here - this is absolutely my favorite lunch spot any day I am on campus. The owners are very personable and get to know their customers and treat you well. The food is great and always fast served. This restaurant is worth the walk from anywhere downtown. I am very glad they made is through the pandemic and continue as a part of the campus community.

I went here to grab lunch with my co-worker when we watched another person walk out of the restaurant. After this person left, the staff member at the cash register began to berate this customer that just left to a group waiting in line, saying "we have to kick them out all the time when they come in here" and was very rude about it. My co-worker and I both left immediately, not wanting to be treated that way by staff or wanting to support a business that treats people that way. We will not be returning.

The staff were rude and disrespectful when I walked in. The woman at the front counter was berating and aggressively dehumanizing a young woman as I walked through the door. I believe all human beings should be treated with respect and because of this I chose not to support this business or this type of behavior!

The lady at the cash register is rude and sarcastic. I chose not to give my money to that restaurant today. I have eaten there in the past and the food is descent.

Mediocre food with terrible service! I’ve come by with smiles twice and she’s been rude both times. She doesn’t even greet you or smile. Not welcoming at all for a small dirty Greek spot that you can barely even stand in. I’m not sure if she’s racist or miserable but if you’re black just go somewhere else!

This was my first time eating at Ali Baba and I must say I had a great experience. The owner was so freaking nice! The cashier and the guy helping the owner with the orders were both nice as well. Now to the food...AMAZING!!! This was my first time trying Falafel and it was delicious! I had the Gyro with Lamb with side of hummus and salad, both were really good! You get a lot of food for a reasonable price. I am definitely going back and I highly recommend trying Ali Baba, you won't be disappointed.

I walked passed this place a few times. The location is very small, blink and you will miss it. I ate here two days in a row. Enjoyed my salads very much.

Great food and service. Told them it was my first time there and they hooked me up with extra sides so I could see which ones I liked best. Will definitely be back

The food and assumed owner are AMAZING! The lady checking customers out is NOT SO FRIENDLY to people who aren’t her color. I visited the first time to have a pleasant experience with who I assume is the owner, with the cashier being dry. The second time I visited, the assumed owner was not there and I observed her interactions with others of not my color first because of the vibe I received the first time I visited. After observing and then TRYING to order with the guy behind the glass, cashier lady intervened and spoke to me very condescendingly twice, even after I tried to de-escalate her unwarranted frustration with me and it made me uncomfortable. I left without my food and will only order if I see the assumed owner behind the glass.

i got the mediterranean platter there’s a very similar tangy note to the hummus , ganoush , the bean salad and another item i got . im used to mediterranean food being very layered in flavors . theres this overpowering vinegar flavor to basically the whole platter . and the falafel is dry , cold and is a bit misleading considering its indented but you cant see that from the top . i assume thats how you get it to stand up ? flavor wise the falafel is the tastiest thing here

I once had the perfect falafel wrap when i lived in Switzerland, I always craved that taste, and this was as perfect as it got, so much nostalgia

Presentation is important, and you can tell they just don't care. I ordered my food to-go and my gyro was so messy, with sauce all over the outside of the container and the bag. Also the pasta it came with was not what I expected. It was a white sauce cold pasta with feta cheese on top. It tasted spoiled. And the small amount of the gyro I was actually able to eat was mediocre. I could've had the same taste and quality at Arby's. Not going back.

Gyro was super good & the lady up front was super kind while getting customers in and out! This isn't a sit down restaurant but more of a grab and go setting for a quick lunch!

Food was great, owner is very nice, but the large and extremely unattractive woman at the front counter was just incredibly rude and nasty to the other women customers...just horrible person. She ruined the whole dining experience with her nastiness.

New favorite restaurant. Very friendly staff. I have not ordered something I didn't enjoy. Reasonable prices and pretty filling servings. I believe each entree comes with 2 sides and a drink.

One of the absolute best places to get a Mediterranean meal in downtown Atlanta. Great falafels (your choice of a wrap or salad). Great vegan options. Definitely recommend.

The best Mediterranean cuisine! The portion size to price is unbeatable. The food is delicious, best falafel, the hot sauce is flavorful and has distinct test, along with all their seasonings.on top of their food the owner is very kind and sweet person, I visit the place after two years(before covid), the owner remember me and treat me with free flagal and hummus,.

Despite being easy to miss, this place truly has excellent falafels and gyros. Lots of food for your money. Excellent taste. Would recommend. This is not your typical sit down, though. You order the food and wait for it, then enter the adjacent building and go down the stairs to eat in what almost feels like an empty food court in a mall. Still worth it for the food.

This is my favorite food place by GSU. Every time I go they’re quick and very kind. The prices for their food are affordable and the amount of food is great!! I always get the chicken gyro spicy, grape leaves, and pasta. The grape leaves are the best I have EVER had. The pasta salad is better than any pasta salad I’ve ever ate. And the chicken gyro is just chefs kiss. I always get it to go because I don’t think there is seating except in the area next door (which is public seating). Great Place for a quick but fulfilling meal!!!

I love Ali Baba! I work nearby and I get it all the time for lunch. My friends at Ali Baba always hook me up with a generous Greek salad with chicken and pita, and plenty of babaganoush on the side. For $10, you absolutely cannot beat it. Did I mention how tasty? Stop reading reviews and get some now!

First time there and I will definitely be back. A great price for even better food and awesome portions. I got the Chicken Doner and the Baba Ghanoush and I highly recommend it being spicy too. 100/10

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
