I don’t even know where to begin. Took my wife the morning of 1/27/24. She had really bad gallbladder pain and turned yellow. The nurse advised her to get a ct scan and the doctor would call to another hospital and get us in at a hospital with a surgeon and updated technology ( apparently, jasper does not have an ultrasound machine). We waited for a few hours for the doctor (which is fine. I get it’s busy and short staffed. That’s not the issue). The issue was that the doctor came in and said there was really nothing they could do. If they did the ct and it showed an infection, he legally couldn’t let leave without being transported to another hospital by ambulance. But here’s the kicker. He said they did not have any ambulances and that people were there from 2 days ago waiting on one. (I really hope no patient has a life threatening illness. They would probably die waiting that long). He advised us to go to another hospital. We could have left 3 hours prior if the nurse wouldn’t have told us They would do a scan and transport us to another hospital. They did not do any imaging or take urine or blood samples. The doctor based his medical diagnosis on conspiracy theories. He stated RSV wasn’t bad. It was the media blowing it out of proportion because they want to sell the new vaccine. And that ct scans could be deadly. We finally were discharged after they told us there wasn’t anything else they could do. Which is ironic because they didn’t do anything at all. We went to the ER, waited for 5 hours, just to be told they couldn’t help us and to go find another ER. If you value your health, Stay far away from this place. The nurse and doctors are awful. UPDATE: we went to Newton piedmont and they took her blood. This showed elevated liver enzymes. She will have to have the gallbladder removed. Jasper hospital couldn’t even do a simple blood panel. Needless to say, we are so thankful for Newton Piedmont, but furious with jasper. This is inexcusable. This place should be shut down. I will definitely be contacting the Georgia Department of Community Health to file a formal complaint. FINAL UPDATE : Called and talked to the compliance officer. She was very empathetic and caring. She took accountability of the mistakes that were made, which I definitely appreciated.

Emergency room took samples to test for a specific bacteria (it was verbally repeated multiple times that the bacteria in question would be tested for). Long story short, when the results came back from the lab, they had not tested for the bacteria in question. This meant that receiving treatment for the bacteria was prolonged, and the patients suffering was prolonged. It is hard to give them less than three stars (considering they work well with what very little they have), but many of the staff are rude and unprofessional. Regardless, I am not going to generalize others' experiences to this emergency room as being as poor as the patient's in question.⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have received 3 COVID vaccination shots from Jasper Memorial Hospital. They made the process easy and Robert Cumbie did a great job with the jab. There wasn't any stress with getting the shots and luckily I did better than I expected with side effects.

I had a seizure and my husband brought me to Jasper Memorial. They were wonderful. Especially Crystal who was my attending nurse. She explained everything she was doing and was very personable. I had a cat scan, an IV with some kind of anti seizure medicine followed by a bag of vitamins and folic acid followed by a saline drip. My Doctor was Dr. Watkins and he was less friendly but explained everything clearly. Everyone I encountered was nice, helpful and professional. The hospital was clean, well organized and my room was spacious but the bed was a typical uncomfortable adjustable rock :)

The ER department is a joke, the nurse acted like she didn’t want to be there and treated me with a sense of annoyance. When the doctor came in he asked minimum questions. When I told him my symptoms he did not order any test, labs, or fluids. The doctor gave me very little treatment or relief from my sickness. He basically just wanted to give me pain meds and send me home, I refused the pain meds but did request to be discharged. I will not be back ever. However, the registration lady was absolutely wonderful.

Being new to the area I was able to walk in and be seen right away. All staff members were professional, caring and informative. I loved the personalized care of the smaller community hospital. I was also referred to a primary care physician before I left to follow up with. No problems with establishing an appointment with Village Medical. My medications were waiting at Monticello Drugs for pick up. Absolutely the best experience from all hometown businesses. Friendly, courteous service. You definitely have a new customer! Thank you all!

The physical therapy department and people are first class. The department has been modernized with new equipment. The personal are highly qualified and very nice. My therapy was great for my recovery. Jasper County/ Monticello is lucky to have this therapy department in the hospital and community.

went out there plenty of times for headaches NO TEST NO NOTHING was done need workers who actually wanna work and not think your wasting there time.

Our daughter was treated in the ER for flu. The facility was very clean and the staff was very attentive. The treatment and care she received was top notch. Each staff member demonstrated a high level of expertise, while showing genuine care for our daughter. I would recommend this hospital for fast, efficient, expert care for medical needs.

I have lives here 22 years and have used hospital a lot. The majority of nurses and doctors are wonderful. I have only come across 2 nurses and 2 doctors who were really rude and acted like u were wasting their time. I saw a comment about Dr Hall and she w as the rudest and most hateful doctor I have ever run across. I also got the question about why I was in the ER from her! Other than that we’ve had good experiences there.
