I love beer. They make beer. They sell beer! I bought beer. I love pretzels. They make pretzels. It was warm. There was mustard . I bought pretzel. I broke a part of the pretzel off. I dipped said pretzel peice in mustard. It was delicious. Bring a friend. Drink beer. Eat a pretzel. Also, nachos.

Been coming here for years and it's always a pleasure. Relaxed vibes, great beer. They always have something new on the menu as well as standard favourites. They make a great IPA and usually have more than one on the menu. The variety of sizes to chose from is great to, you can taste a few without committing to a full pint. There can be a line to get in at peak times but it's worth the wait.

Great beers. Amazing nachos, and vegitarian charcuterie board. Going to be a must stop anytime we return to Montreal. We came last year when it was closed so glad to see them open again. As good as ever if not better. Place is very nice. Looks great. clean. updated. Food is excellent. Beer is amazing. Odd note. But they really hit the mark with a simple gender neutral washroom.

Absolutely fantastic spot for craft beers. They do a great job with a variety of brews (especially hazy ipa and sours), not to mention a lovely patio outside to enjoy during warmer months. Must-visit for craft beer lovers For more travel eats, drinks and other recommendations, check out and follow me @instantonium on Instagram

Busy place, but great selection of beers!! I really enjoyed the sour and my new favorite, a smoked beer. Friendly staff, and nice interior, space for larger groups if you can find the space

Recently renovated. A typical micro brasserie in plateau. Their homemade beer is good. The food very bad. Terrible desert. I recommend to go exclusively for a beer but not to eat at all

One of the best stouts I have had in a long time. The other beers are good too. Great service with friendly staff as well.

What can one really say about Dieu du Ciel that hasn't already been said? They make good beer. They have a good atmosphere. They charge reasonable prices. It's been completely consistent over the last decade that I've visited this city on and off. You should go here. Their most distributed and most consistently available and beloved beer is Péché Mortel. Start with that if you've never tried it, be blown away by its awesomeness, and then go from there.

This is the place to go in Montréal if you are a beer connoisseur! It can be hard to get a table, so be prepared for a wait. But you cannot beat the price and selection! Also, because of how packed it gets, the service team will only pass by occasionally, so I recommend paying in advance if you have to be out by a certain time. Take advantage of the selection and work your palette - you may discover a new style of beer to fall in love with!

Came here to try the Rosee d'Hibiscus as it sounded so different. Once in the Pub service was very kind and they were ok with me taking up a table being only 1 person. I went for a tasting of 3 beers: The Rosee D' Hibiscus It was really nice and refreshing, easy to drink especially in the summer. The Limonade Poivree, that was something very different, it is a blanche and you can trully taste the lemon pepper in it. Finnally the Solstice D'Ete Framboise it was delicious (you need to like fruity beer) Overall a wonderful experience!

This place is everything a brewpub should be. Great ambiance, helpful staff, wonderful beers. If you're from out of town and only have time to visit one brewpub, this is where you should go. Flawless and worthy of all the hype.

This place is lovely. Great patio and also holy smoke, the Imperial Stout exceeding my expectations. Soooooo good. I wish this beer was for sale in Vancouver. Nicely done.

One of the first brewery in Montreal, and still one of the best! The beer is just so delicious, great atmosphere, great terrasse in the summer and A1 service. You want to be here.

A brewery that came highly recommended by a craft beer friend and Google. Both were right. Reviews on Google mentioned that this place is wildly popular and always rammed with queues to get in being pretty usual so we arrived 5 minutes before opening time on a Thursday arvo. Already a queue to get in. Currently being renovated to expand capacity but still a large selection of quality beers. Can understand why it's often mentioned as the place to go for craft beer in Montreal.

I was told I would find cask-conditioned here. While quaffing the British bitter on cask (pain øuotidien) I kept getting honey in the nose. My server let me sample the co2 tap version and no smell of honey. Cask cersion was at maybe 43-48⁰F, so I conclude it did not age well. The fried calamari so tender and light and the house fresh cut fries, freshly hot were a tremendous treat for the palate.

I stopped by the new brewpub on its first day open. I loved the old place, but this is much roomier and open. The staff is great, as is the beer. I did not have any food there this year, but it was always good in the past. One of my favorite destinations in Montréal.

Best microbrewery in Montreal, constant rotation of different type of beers, so you get sometimes the same but always new flavors to taste, service is great and if there's a line, the wait is worth it, one thing I don't like, the bowl of nuts has decreased its quality, other than that, it's all great

Great beers, service ok at best, 3 staff were drinking behind the bar while we weren't even seated, with other people piling up behind. We literally had to walk to the counter to get a reaction.

The beers are a bit lagging behind other better spots like BreWskey. Great staff and service though!

In the gritty realm of craft brews, this microbrewery is an undisputed heavyweight. A solid 5/5 stars, because let’s face it, their beer is a knockout. Each sip is a journey around the world of hops and malts, a symphony of flavors that transcends borders. From the first pour to the last drop, this microbrewery doesn’t just brew beer; they craft liquid poetry. It’s not just a local gem; it’s a global beer pilgrimage. And at this microbrewery, you’re not just feeling it—you’re savoring a worldwide beer revolution. Cheers to the brews that redefine excellence! 🍻🌍

Try the barrel aged péché mortel if you're into craft beer!

  • 1/5 Josuah K. 8 months ago on Google
The server brought me a pint without asking what size I ordered. I know this is a famous beer house, but none of the beers are cold. A beer that gets lukewarm after one sip. If you look at the tables around you, everyone doesn't finish drinking beer. Look at the fries served here. I don't know how many days they've been using the oil, but it's definitely more than a week old. And I saw little kids eat it. Go to next place 'siboire' This place is wat too overrated.

Great service and an extensive selection of craft beers with a lot of limited options innovative beers. Beef burger is also delicious. There’s a nice terrace outside. I will definitely be going back.

Quality beers, nice atmosphere & good service. Checks off all the boxes for a solid microbrewery. The compact space gives it a different feel from other microbreweries. Haven't been in a minute so I'd like to return to see what's on tap now.

Spent a couple of hours one afternoon here.. what a great spot. Awesome atmosphere in a fun neighbourhood, with a ton of unique beers. Good service, good pricing. Minimal food options, though you are really coming here for the beer. Highly recommend!

Amazing beer and excellent service. We brought our two toddlers with us and the staff was very welcoming to the kids. Bathrooms could use an upgrade and no changing table but overall it was a really great mid-day stop for some great beers and a small lunch (they have pizzas).

This little brewery is something worth checking out - I personally find their best beers to be their stouts! They have this lovely coffee stout that has a creamy, foamy texture that’s not too bitter and has a hint of sweetness. Excellent brewery and a cute little patio to enjoy small dishes and snacks.

Awesome beers, some of the best and not just in Montreal. First time we chanced onto this place while strolling in the area. Best decision ever to drop in for their amazing beers. Definitely a must visit if you are in Montreal.

Loved our second visit to Dieu du Ciel! Sat in front of a big open window on a gorgeous summer Montreal day. Our group sampled almost all of the current beers on tap as well as each pizza. Our server, Dominic, was wonderful - super friendly, knowledgeable about the beer and handled our group of 6 (including 2 kids) with ease. Wonderful place & we look forward to many repeat visits.

Absolutely charming little brewery. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to the fact that I'm not fluent in French. The beer was fantastic and the small plates they offer on the food menu were very well done and paired perfectly with the beers. This is one cozy brasserie that you must visit when in Montreal.

Some of the best beer, well, anywhere. Dieu has a huge following in Montreal and beyond. Exceptional craft beer with a constantly changing selection. Good bites and a very popular patio.

The beer is just so good! I cant recommend it enough. The coffee stout and the mango beer are a must try. The nachos too! Plus the servers are so welcoming.

Beer is great, service is great, vibe is great! Wonderful place to share great times with people you love. This Brasserie has an issue though: how do we manage to choose between so many great options without getting drunk? 🫣😅

We waited 20 min to be seated. Good selection of beers but service needs to be improved.

  • 1/5 Benoit G. 2 years ago on Google
Not friendly with a very anti-customer attitude. We were very disappointed to find out that we were charged for a beer that we returned after a sip. It was sour to our taste but both the bartender and manager said that they liked it and therefore it is our fault. The waiter even put his nose in the glass to smell it and said it was fine: like he expected us to take the glass back (in the age of Covid!!!) Any other place would have brought us another beverage but here wasn’t the case. Avoid this place at ALL cost or be ready to always agree with the bartender’s taste because it will be on your tab.

  • 4/5 Aatik C. 2 years ago on Google
Beer is incredible. Atmosphere is laid back yet very lively. Excellent music too! Only improvement that could be made is a larger food selection - only nachos and a couple of basic pizzas were available on Saturday night.

Good beer but the young barman (dark hair, glasses) working the bar on the pub side of the place had no clue how to pour a stout, which was surprising for a brewpub. After pouring me this monstrosity / joke (see photo!), I said nothing at the time not wanting to be annoying, but for the second one I asked him nicely if he could pour it so the head was around finger width, explaining that this was standard where I was from (Dublin - and this was listed as a “stout Irlandaise” so I figured I was not taking nonsense here). He did so and he said I should have told him the last one was badly poured. I said no problem not a big deal. (There were 8 people he was serving sat at the bar so I did wonder why he couldn’t maybe look at the pint before he gave it to someone!) After 4 pints I had to leave and got the check. I tipped $4 thinking that was standard (as it is in NYC - a dollar a pint) and he told me passive-aggressively that “15% is normal, but ok”. I would have preferred he just said thank you or nothing. Left a bad impression. I won’t rush back. I do think the tipping culture is getting crazy. Getting a hard time for tipping $1 a pint across 4 pints sat at a bar, when the barman doesn’t even know how to pour them!
