I got to know the chef and was quite surprised on how much prep goes into the food. The owners changed since September 2022 and based on the other reviews, the food is way better now. I can’t vouch since I’ve never tried it before the change but I do have to say the burgers are fire 🔥 especially the Brass Mack (better than a Big Mac). All the sauces for the chicken wings are homemade. If you’re getting fries with your dish, pay the extra for crispy fries! I don’t tolerate spicy food but the pickled jalapeños on the nachos were a nice surprise. Impeccable service from our waiter/bartender Jordan, I definitely recommend!

I came in on a whim and had a wonderful time! The bartender with the blue hair made a mean martini and the atmosphere was exactly what a tourist looking for a bar off the beaten path would want. The drinks are reasonably priced but the service is unbeatable. I would definitely suggest this bar to anyone who likes a well poured drink and good company in a kind and welcoming bartender.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere and the server make you feel like you are a regular. My server Elodie and all her colleagues were the friendliest folks and made my day. Five stars all round for everything.

The service is excellent and the patio is very nice with a view. The chicken wings are delicious and there are over 16 flavours for the wings! The crispy fries and loaded nachos was also very good. The drinks and food are great at reasonable price. Brass Door is a real hidden gem at the heart of downtown Montreal!

Get the Brass Mac! It’s basically an elevated Big Mac that won’t make you regret it tomorrow. It’s well priced and tastes delicious. The cocktails are actually reasonably priced too! It’s the first bar I’ve been to where I got what I paid for! Staff is attentive and friendly, even when they are busy as hell. Really appreciate it as someone from out of town.

Been coming here for years. Wednesday Wings is a vibe. Euro pints is a vibe. Staff is cool most of the time but Elodie really goes above and beyond so she definitely brings this place from a 4 to a solid 5 star for me 🙌

AMAZING wings! Try the honey garlic it BANGS. Drinks could be slightly on the upper end but other than that really recommend. And the staff was very kind :)

Very friendly staff, atmosphere with the music and lights were great. A lot of variety of chicken wing sauces, waitress recommended the Jalapeno Ranch sauce with our Smoky Hot chicken wings and was really good.

Elodie served us, I am thankful to have come to this place for the Smokey hot chicken wings were immaculate! Especially with the jalapeno ranch she recommended, one bite and I was in awe.

Wings are really tasty. Many different flavors but I think the Korean BBQ was the best, good spice level and a little sweet. Staff is amazing super friendly and welcoming. Great drive bar atmosphere. Will come again next time I’m in town

A regular spot that I go to with my friends for Wednesday wings! The prices are great, the food is good, the service can be slow but it's always worth it. The sweet potato fries are also very good!!

I love this place. Came after a concert to keep the party going and it’s the best late night spot. Everyone is super friendly, awesome DJ. I’m here right now I had to review before I go. They go above and beyond. I’ll be back for two more nights in a row before I go home out of town. Edit to say and yes food is awesome, so fresh and the cooks are so nice. I can’t wait to go back again tomorrow.

Although it's on crescent, this place felt like a hole in the wall. Surprisingly the 69 cents wings were scrumptious and delightful! I'd recommend the 911; If you're a real fan of spice 🔥 We're really thankful for the service Elodie provided and, had a blast despite being clearly too drunk to behave.

We went at 6pm on a Sunday evening. The waitress was not very kind to us even though we were the only people in the entire restaurant. My friend ordered a sandwich and the bread was so stale it was harder than a rock. My coca cola was flat straight from the can, not sure how long it had been sitting in the back. My wings were delicious, but even some of the wings tasted like they had been sitting in the back for a while rather than cooked fresh.

Went there with the office, great time. Good spot to drink and chill, live band was very cool that night. Food is bar food so no surprises there, the fries both normal and sweet pot were amazing. Very good service as well.

I found this place by accident on my 1st night in Montreal. I ended up going there all 6 nights of our vacation including New Year's Eve. The staff are just awesome. I met many of them, both on-duty and off!! Great people. Big shout out to Hatam, Jesse, Jordan and Alice. You're all amazing at welcoming customers to your bar and making them feel right away like it's their new local. (Irish Conor living in Florida).

I had an amazing time at this bar! The wings were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and they had an impressive selection of beers. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff was friendly. A must-visit for wing and beer enthusiasts!

Everything here was 5 stars. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the service was even better. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. We ended up visiting lots of other pubs in the area and we wish we stayed at Brass Door all night!

We stumbled upon Brass Door Pub by accident, finding a street parking spot right next to it. A fortune accident it was though, this little pub was a fantastic find! A real pub vibe, it had good Montreal food and other pub food with a tasty draft list to go with. 10/10 would go again.

Elodie is so slay! The pub has a fun, English-friendly environment (if you’re an American tourist it’d be really easy to visit the comedy night). The best part of our night though was our server elodie— she was amazing!!! Really efficient and very nice :D

We went to the Brass Door for wing night and ended up having the most amazing service from Elodie. Drinks were always full and she checked on us often and made us feel welcome. The wings were great as well (and cheap!) but the service was so outstanding that it is the main reason I would come back.

Small pub but it's still very welcoming. Not too dark but perfect for the events. Their bathrooms though could need quite some help. The staff is super nice, and the comedians were very funny. I've only had the mozzarella sticks and they were quite good. My friend really recommends the chicken salad

Out of country visiting for a quick weekend getaway and we stumbled upon this eclectic 3-step Xmas oasis due to Alice’s (bar manager) vision of a Xmas wonderland: 1- Great Music 2- Great bar tenders Cecilia and Evan 3- Drinks excellently made (Hendricks gin martini) Perfect trifecta!!!! Mighty fine place. The service is consistently good when I go. The staff are just genuine and cool (Chirag's service is great). I used to go here years ago just for wing night (and they're still good) but it's my #1 spot now just to go grab a beer too. Food's good too. If you're trying to find a good bar on Crescent with your friends that's just legit and genuine, just go here. Great place.

Came here after a long travel day and it was just what I needed. Chill bar without any pretension and the bartender Kimberly was super fun. The wings were fire too. A little small but the skin is crispy and the meat is super juicy.

What a great place. I've found a fantastic dive bar. My bartender (who happens to be the manager) Alice really tried her best to find a beer I like. They had no problem offering me a different beer just because I didn't like my current one! Also, I got a couple of free shots. This bar reminds me of the no nonsense bars I used to hit in NYC. 69 cent wings were good as well. I could see a great camaraderie among the staff. I'll be back soon.

The food was nice, but the service was really slow and the our server was a bit rude. They were very understaffed but they could’ve been a bit more polite about taking the order. Still the food was decent. Wednesday is 69 cent chicken wings so be sure to try that they got some pretty good flavor options for wings. Personal favorite chicken wings was the honey garlic if you are looking for something not spicy and the buffalo wings. If you’re looking for something sweet and tangy then try the mango habanero wings. The atmosphere was nice but it was a bit hot inside. Good selection of beers aswell

The service was pretty slow sitting outside. It felt like the one bartender needed some help but he was friendly. The food was yummy and the beer was fresh.

We watched our waitress get in an altercation with a rowdy customer. She handled the situation amazing it's really unfair the management makes her work alone dealing with 12 to 15 tables simultaneously and having to fight with customers who are obviously drunk. Outside of all of this this place had great cheap appetizers large variety of beer on tap and several authentic pub eats which you would expect to find at an authentic Irish pub like this. This has to be a spot I check out every time I'm in town here. Also ask about the wing special which seems to be everyday.

Delightful staff make this place a 5! The wings were really great too - wonderful flavour. The beer selection wasn’t amazing but it looks like the bar is pretty stacked so I’m guessing you could get a pretty wide array of mixed drinks or cocktails. Recommend visiting! Also totally dog lovers!

Nice quiet night just how I like it. Service was personable. I ordered ground beef nachos which is unusual for me but somehow they made it taste like real food. It hit the spot. I'll probably go back again this week. 👍👍

Went there after a Habs game. Felt like a dessert where no one wanted to serve us. Told us kitchen was closed yet were severing others food after we came in. Some of worst service have ever experienced.

The wings were amazing. I loved it, but i can't say the same for the drink part. Generally, the beer pitcher was dirty so that you can see clearly. Beer mugs semelled disgusting as if there was fish inside it. Even we requested new mugs, but we had the same problem.

The wait to get a table and get served can be a bit long on Wings Wednesday but the wings are so damn worth it, especially for the cheap price and sauce variety! They sell wings for 55 cents each for 6 or 45 cents each for baskets of 12, 18, 24. So make sure to be real hungry before going to get your money's worth!!

Unique place. Came in for drinks before the Canadians game. Had a different look and different atmosphere. Had a whisky punch was really good. Upper level looked cool. Was in around lunch. Next time I'll try it out in the evening

The wings were really good and super tasty we had a lot of them so we tried all of their sauces and the honey garlic was amazing, the BBQ sauce was also really good . The Buffalo was average but we ate everything lol

The wings here are top notch, but our server definitely should not be in the restaurant business. She sighed everytime we asked for anything, including when we placed our order, she had bad breath from drinking alcohol all night, and when our bill came, two of our party had paid their share, and she refused to remove it from the total bill. I asked politely, many time, to give me the whole bill amount (not hard to do) and she kept arguing with me, that it doesn't work that way.... It doesnt work for a waitress to give me the total bill of ONE table? Finally, she gave it to us, and I showed her we had already paid 60$ of it beforehand. She refused to acknowledge it, and not to deal with her abhorrent behaviour, we ended up paying 60$ more on a bill that was 160$. It's unfortunate because the week before our waitress Allyson was great. This one, totally ruined the experience, she made 60$ extra and now me and the rest of the party vowed to not return to Brass Door Pub. Shame.

We had a comedy night here and it was sooo much fun! All the comedians were very good and they had a special guest Sugar Sammy... and he rocked the show. Food was excellent. Staff is very patient. It was a purely wonderful, fun night. I highly recommend this place.

it's a pub with very little charm, they were out of red vermouth (!), and it had a pretty good DJ. very quiet, except for some loud bar patrons on a Friday night. the server was kind and enthusiastic, but untrained.

I recently visited the Brass Door Pub and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service and drinks. Despite the inviting ambiance, the experience left a lot to be desired. The service was slow and inattentive. It took ages for our drinks to arrive, and when they finally did, they were poorly made and tasted terrible. To make matters worse, I noticed that the barmaid had overcharged me for my drinks. The staff seemed indifferent to our complaints and were not helpful in resolving the issue. To make matters worse, the food was below average and overpriced for what we received. The portions were small, and the taste was unremarkable. Overall, I would not recommend the Brass Door Pub. The poor service, overpriced drinks, and lackluster food left a bad taste in my mouth, and I would not choose to dine there again.

My experience was horrible. The place was at 70 percent capacity, not full at all. It took us 30 minutes until I was fed up and had to confront someone to serve us. After that, we still waited another ten minutes. The server was disinterested and provided us with the worst service possible. I've worked in the industry and can tell the difference between being slammed and just lazy; this was the server being forgetful and lazy. The server was at times rude and confrontational and didn't apologize for the many mistakes – from the bill being wrong to the ridiculous wait time. We had to beg to get water to our table; this was an exhausting experience. The staff didn't work together cohesively, and whoever is managing that place is seriously failing their team. There was no cohesion; the servers didn't want to help each other out. Overall, it was the worst dining experience I've had in the last ten years. Yes, the wings are good, but that doesn't give you the right to treat your customers like this. If you're looking for good service, this is not the place. If you want decent cheap chicken wings and god-awful service, this is your place.

Great wings here. Favourite are the sweet chilli wings. Love the fries (both crispy and regular) even more! For those who love Caesars/bloody Mary’s, highly recommend the spicy Caesar here, so good. To top it all off, great music and comfortable but fun vibes.
