DO NOT BOOK HERE - BED BUG ALERT This “hotel” needs to be shut down!!!!! The rooms we had were both in unliveable and disgusting conditions!! Not even the worst part! In the middle of our first night, we woke up to feeling itchy and found a BED BUG CRAWLING ACROSS THE PILLOW. We killed it and it was filled with blood. WE IMMEDIATELY packed our bags at 3 in the morning to tell the person at the front desk whom was unfazed and told us off without asking any more questions, nor offering any help or compensation. We had to request for a new room in order to remove ourselves from that situation. We confronted the manager the next day who told us we were lying even though we showed him video and photo proof, time stamped. We had to bring all our things to a laundry mat before we could travel anymore. On top of all that, the rooms stink so bad and have such poor air circulation the beds feel so humid and wet. Truly the worst hotel I've ever experienced. Save yourself and do not book here it’s not worth the “saving”!!!!

Room was clean, old and needed updating. Washroom clean and not enough soap or toiletries. Not much insulation. Overall clean basic room and that's good for the price of $103.00 The part that was horrible is the two chubby guys at the front desk. No professionalism. Sloppy dressed, one guy had his shirt out of his pants and buttons open down his shirt. Disgusting. I was shocked that the Days Inn allows its staff to look like that. I had a guy with glasses, who did not smile at all, not professional and had no clue about customer service. I guess these days with staff shortages all over, this is what we have to deal with. Days Inn wake up, you will lose customers with staff like that represent your company.

The pictures advertised do not match the tiny room we had. No microwave, no water in fridge. Loud air conditioner. Loud thumping noises front down stairs late into the night. Found chewed gum sitting on night stand. I took it to front desk. They said their cleaners work hard and things get missed. I wanted to leave but they do not give refunds.they advertised a special cheap breakfast for guess,(sign still up) but said it was discontinued. We had dinner in their lounge, no smoking, but a hotel employee sat in patio, with a hookah, the smell filled the eating area. Made us fell sick. I could go on and on about this place. If I read other reviews first I wouldn't have stayed here. You can only complain so much and I'm not that kind of person. We dealt with a lot. Please do not stay here. There are do many other places to choose. Even the floors are uneven and walls are paper thin.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Good value for the money on our recent Saturday night stay. Very happy with the quiet air conditioner compared to many hotel heat-cool units. It's conveniently on a highway but set back and so not noisy. Despite being very busy that evening with a large wedding party staying there, the staff were friendly and helpful.

I am shocked and disgusting by the cockroach hiding under the bed. My daughter woke up with bed bug bites all over her face. The receptionist had lied about his name saying it was Paul then having his actual name Sammy on the receipt. We then asked to speak to a manager and was kicked up. The gym is a joke and the restaurant was horrid. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

A couple of advises: 1. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. 2. CHECK IN EARLY, OTHERWISE THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE WORST ROOM EVER. Here is my story. I booked a double room at this Hotel via booking.com, trusting on the photos posted on the website, when we arrived around 7.pm. and we enter the room we were shocked that the room was very small at first, but then we started to noticed that it was not only that, the room was falling apart! and washroom was disgusting! In normal circumstances, we would have cancelled the two night stay and demand a refund, but since we booked via a "trusted" website we decided raise the complaint and cancel the second night and request a refund for the first night. Following instructions by booking.com, next morning we went to the front desk, well, the response was even more shocking! they say, that we booked a double bedroom, which is fine by me, however that because we were late at the checking they gave us the last room available and that they are sorry that they gave us that room but they were fully booked that night. When we asked the staff about the discrepancies of the pictures and that we saw other rooms that were open on our way to the front desk, they told us that there were taken on other rooms that were "nicer", and those room are double queen beds. we told them that the side of the bed should not matter as when we booked a room we expect that ALL ROOMS SHOULD BE IN A GOOD SHAPE!. Anyway, hopes this help.... WORST PLACE EVER!

WORST PLACE DO NOT STAY HERE. The maids go inside your rooms and steal stuff, the management offered us a free stay because of this, and then when we call to get the stay they would not give it to us or refund. The girl on the phone who would not get sami to resolve this at 5:03pm today refused to give her name on the phone. Terrible service 0/5 if I could. Sami and his staff are an absolute disgrace.

I had a truly disappointing experience at this hotel. The cleanliness was abysmal; I wouldn't even rate it one star if I could. The furniture, especially the bed mattress, was in terrible condition and the noise level of the bed was unbearable. The bathroom was infested with insects. And the sofa in the room was torn to shreds.the AC was too noisy.

I always check for bed bugs upon entering any hotel room. It's amazing the filth one can find. Not here, I was impressed with the cleanliness. Friendly staff. I would recommend this place. The only minor complaint I might have is that the ironing board was dirty, odd, I know, I think a past client used it for serving food, then put it away, unbeknownst to staff. It collapsed on me while trying to use it. Time for a new one I guess. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This is outright the worse hotel I've ever stayed at. Not only because the rooms are pretty bad (stuff not working, renos that arent done right, stinky, and no sound proofing at all), but also because they are very rude to their customers. They also close off the hotel restaurant to guests, earlier than the posted time, so that the staff, and what looked like their whole family, can use it as a hookah bar... Which afaik, is illegal to do in public places. If you ask them about why the lounge is "closed", they just laugh at you and say "its reserved"... Right its reserved every night for the same people, that also happen to work there. Its kind of hilarious how bad that place is managed and how bad they treat their guests.

Not really good customer service. Room was really spacious. Far from downtown which makes your trip little boring. But after saying here for two days we went to Ottawa and stayed one night in holiday Inn. Which I liked more. Holiday Inn is almost same budget but great amenities and best service.

Beds were comfortable, but pillows were stiff. ZERO continental breakfast although still advertised online for this location and in the binder in my room... until I showed up in the morning and was told they "don't do that anymore" and then the binder was removed from my room. No microwave in the room, or even one you can use on site. Did not refill/replace the shampoo & conditioner, or any of the coffee/tea supplies (pods, stir stick, sugar,etc.). Blackout curtains do not close... bring a clothespin or hair clip. ZERO soundproofing... this was a huge issue. Stay at your own risk.

Structure sold by 3 stars instead the stars are 2. Dirty. Staff not very helpful (except for the female one). Indifferent. Dirty rooms. They don't clean them. They sell you breakfast but breakfast doesn't fit. They don't even have a bar. (we are not talking about the D-Lounge). The manager seems to have all the problems himself. he never smiles. anyway if you want to try ... it's up to you. I advise against it. consider that the beds are also half made and with short sheets. if you throw something on the floor in the room, it can stay up to 15 days, as happened to me. stay away.

Stayed here before during the summer of 2019 and the service and rooms were great. Fast forward to summer of 2022 and the entire hotel has degraded tremendously. Stained floors, walls, tiles, etc., breakfast was in a grab-and-go bag, and staff gave a bit of attitude. Perhaps the pandemic caused the lack of maintenance but that's no excuse now. Overall, wouldn't be much of a problem but at the price point of around >$100 per night, there are better options elsewhere. Seems like many Days Inn locations are the same; disappointed in Wyndham.

This was one of, if not, the worst service I have ever experienced. I was told no manager or supervisor for 3 days , so no issues could be sorted out . I was later given a fake name? Receipt said other name than what was said .(will be contacting head office about this). Was told he could not offer any information about refunds, and was told to “figure it out yourself”. As if things couldn’t get worse, we were then approached by the same fake name receptionist and were told to ‘get the F out’. He then proceeded to grab another member of our group. This will be proceeded to higher levels , as this was unacceptable on all levels. Receptionist Sal at the front , proceeds to give name ‘Paul’. Wish I could give zero stars.

Absolutely avoid at all costs!! Jail cells at Alcatraz had better accommodations! Tiny tiny room, everything is broken, rundown and old, air conditioning was way too loud, windows opened to the hallway where everyone walked to their rooms so everyone could see in your room if you don't have the blinds shut, no safe in the room.... One small tiny table with two small chairs in the room and not even a luggage bench!!! The room looked like hadn't been cleaned in years... Bathroom shampoo set was all different colors and different brands... To make matters worse, the hotel is so old that walking on the second floor hallway wakes the entire neighborhood... Avoid at all costs

Good hotel, nice rooms, plenty of parking spots. I took away 2 star for the service because there was no drinking water in the room, there was no toothpaste nor toothbrush. I suggest the investor go through AliExpress and check for hotel supplies, you can get these by less than 1$ cost.

Horrible place to say the least. Just bough by a room and decided we would like to go someplace else. Refund policy online states there is no refund for no shows aswell as early check out. This is none of those. When asking the man at the desk by the name of “Paul”, he became very hostile and quite intimidating as he started standing up at the desk and raising his voice with us. We asked him for the refund policy and he replied with “i don’t know”. He then said we cannot get a refund, then right after said we might get a refund on monday when the manager comes back… very unprofessional. We then decided to bite the bullet and not escalate things so we went to sit in the main lobby to discuss amongst ourselves. About 5 minutes later, the bald man by the name of “Paul” approached us and immediately started yelling at us to “get out” and started swearing… WITH OTHER GUESTS PRESENT. Very unprofessional. He then grabbed one of our party members and proceeded to pull him off the chair. Not only is this a form of assault, but is completely inappropriate and ridiculous. We will be following up with this to the appropriate authorities. Not to mention he lied about his name… He told us his name is “Paul” but on the receipt his name says “Sam”. Front desk receptionist was a bald man wearing a black north face jacket. Avoid at all costs, this man is violent to his customers and completely unprofessional.

Days to avoid This is not a hotel or brand I will return to. The sheets are as thin as 1 ply toilet paper yet even more rough... It exfoliates your whole body with the terrible fabric. Their pillows are so old and used that 2 stacked count as 1-but you only get 3. The mattress and shower seemed pretty new... But the rest was dated. No space in the bathroom for toiletries and they had drinking cups on a shelf above the toilet!?🤢 A very small room backing into the highway. It's challenging getting in and out. The walls are so thin we could hear the neighbours clearly. The breakfast was a COVID to go bag with a Dad's oatmeal cookie, croissant, yogurt, granola bar and juice box. Not healthy at all. Go elsewhere!

Realllyy old fashioned! Breakfast was all about granola bars and dad’s cookies lol. They had no water!! Their coffee was the worst coffee we have ever drank. The floors move and squeeke as you walk. Beds and pillows were horrible/ we also had to change rooms because we could hear the heavy breathing and snoring of the person next to us 😅. You get what you pay for

The rooms were nice and clean, and the service was good. They have free breakfast in the morning that can be picked up at the front desk. The design of the hotel is quite strange? Pathways to different buildings are confusing and numbering is misrepresented. Overall, a decent hotel for a night or two.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Arrived around 3am so this was pretty much our only option since they offer late check in. Room was honestly very expensive for what it was. It seemed like it hadn’t been touched in months. I know this isn’t the hotels fault, but I was a bit unnerved to find a giant spider crawling in the bed sheets. Creeped me right out and when I checked to make sure there weren’t any other bugs, I found a gross amount of dust/dirt under and behind the bed. I don’t think I will visit this chain again. Very overpriced for outdated uncomfortable rooms. I paid less for a luxury hotel in old Montreal!

We stayed in this Motel during the Canada Day long weekend. Pricing was high due to the high demand which we can understand. Specific room we stayed in the ground level was clean and spacious for couple. Tiled floor. Bathroom was clean. Small AC was a bit noisy but we did have a good sleep. Staff at the reception was helpful. We didn't have any issue with vehicle parking.

Poor service. Refund policy not disclosed. We had to cancel one night added over the phone due to the massive storm. Lady did not disclose cancelation policy and also added a night stay without speaking with actual cardholder. They put us in the wrong room thinking we wouldn’t realize but we escalated that real quick and got it fixed… mind you they made us walk to the complete opposite side of the hotel with a baby unnecessarily!!! WHICH THE ORIGINAL ROOM WAS EXTREMELY TINY. Escalated awaiting for refund which we are being told no. We took this hotel because they had breakfast which is not included and they actual chose not to serve their hotel guests as instead they hosted a HOOKAH/SHISHA party which I doubt is even legal to be smoking in the hotel restaurant. GIVE US OUR REFUND BACK! we had referred family members and had 3 rooms total booked. We had a much better experience at the Days Inn in the United States but this was a complete disaster and never again will we go back nor refer anybody else there! OH & one of our family members room smelled like wet carpet.

Whole place smells. There was short curly hair in the ice bucket. They ran out of towels, I had to goto Walmart and buy some in order to shower on my 2nd day. Really wish I could post the video of the front desk staff hanging up and yelling at guests on the phone. Awful. The parking isn't worth staying here. (Parking was full one night and a guy told me he had to park on the road a few blocks away)

Don't forget to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. They compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed. Quick and friendly check in with Jolanta. I called ahead and asked for early check in and we were accomodated with no issue as they had the availability. Room was a large king suite, all fairly basic amenities but a nice clean room. For the price this is a great value, no frills type hotel and this was my 2nd stay here.

I recently stayed at a motel where the overall experience was disappointing. The staff seemed indifferent to guests' needs, and the lack of heating made the stay uncomfortable. Additionally, there were issues with electricity in the room, limiting functionality to just lights. Overall, not a positive experience.

  • 3/5 jenn353535 7 months ago on Google
It was okay. For the price I paid, the room was adequate, no frills. It was clean, there was enough room for 2 people. I didn't expect luxury. That being said, the hallways are a little run down and need an overhaul. It's quite loud when people walk outside the rooms since it's just wood construction and hollow underneath. The location is tricky because it's on a highway, so there isn't much within walking distance to do and you can't cross the road. That's ny own fault for not researching this more thoroughly. The restaurant though was definitely my biggest pet peeve as there was very clear discrimination against English speaking guests. Considering Montreal is supposed to be a world class tourist destination, it was quite disturbing how we were treated at the restaurant, where when we tried to order, they conveniently did not have anything to serve, yet still seated us and gave us menus. It didn't escape my attention that the French speaking table next to me was able to order what I was trying to order. They nearly had a medical emergency on their hands as I had dosed my type 1 diabetic child for breakfast onky to be refused, so I mean, this coukd have gone in a whole other legal direction had I not been able to at keast get a croissant, although begrudgingly from the staff. I honestly think the hotel needs to investigate how their guests are being treated in the restaurant that is in their establishment. Other than that, the vending machines are a bit old and only take change so unless you carry money, you cant use them. Since we couldn't eat at the hotel, we did use the vending machines for snacks but it was a concentrated effort to get cash, use it to get change and then use the machine. Most have been converted to cards or bills so these shoukd probably upgrade too. Since there are no real options around to go grab snacks without a cab ride, which we did end up doing, the vending machines or a reasonably priced convenience store style area (tons of unused room by the elevator) would have been suitable for this and an added stream of income.

The front desk staff was amazing and they were very helpful. Encountered 3 staff at the desk and all of them were bilingual and knew English. The housekeeper was nice, but it was difficult to communicate with her because of lack of English. The room we got was nice and well maintained.

Was on vacation with my family. Beforehand, we were searching for a decent hotel that would live up to our standards with a reasonable price. We found Days Inn and thought it as the right hotel to stay in. As we walked in, the service was avererage but the assistance was quite low. As we walked into the bedroom as we had asked for 2 queen beds, they looked more of a double bed which is smaller. The place had a horrific stink to it as we had walked in, and the floors were awfully squeeky. As we continued walking in, we noticed how UNEVEN tth floors were, by the window was a seating area and the floor moved to an upwards angle which seemed suspicous. The washroom was smaller than the pictures online and seemed to have an awful smell to it. The blowdrier that had come with still had hair in it which is disgusting, and the bathtub had black specs in it. As we were walking towards the door outside, the staff behind the desk rudely aaskd where were going as if it mattered that much, we told him that we were going to get our bags and he rudely gave an approval llik if we needed it. overall, the staff didnt seem to notice us much as if we were bystanders and didnt seem to care about their own guests. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel as what service and room quality is what you are looking for. Truly the worst hotel I've ever experienced.

  • 1/5 Alexis A. 8 months ago on Google
The hotel was very dirty. Crumbs and hairs in our sheets. They didn’t have proper fitted sheets on the bed, just a top sheet tucked in. There was mold. It also smelled bad and a strong perfume was used to cover it up. If you have other options dont stay here.

Overall a pleasant experience, friendly staff and clean rooms, really good air conditioning, decent bagged breakfast. Although if you come late at night parking can be impossible to find. I stayed here a few days ago and there were zero empty spots, luckily 1 guest was leaving and let me have his parking spot but I got very lucky. Otherwise I would’ve had to risked it and park the car at a no parking zone. So if you plan on staying here make sure you come earlier as I checked in late and there was NO parking. The spots were all taken. Price was a bit high also per night. Still enjoyed my stay.

Get what you pay for. Stay was ok. I was so tired I don't think it mattered. I could clearly hear people walking on the floor above all night. Room was below par. My phone is almost bigger than the tv. The bed was clean though. I would stay again if looking for a cheap stay.

The photos are absolutely nothing like what they provide. We booked 2 rooms for our annual girls trip, the only thing nice in our rooms were the bathrooms (besides the broken shower door handle), everything else was moldy, falling apart and had ants. We tried to get a better room but the manager insisted they were booked out. Every time we had to come back into our room the keys wouldnt work so a technician had to come and give us new keys every time. Professionalism was a-ok. There was no breakfast, only in a brown bad with 1 juice box, granola bar and muffin. There were also no tea choices besides green tea. I do not reccomend this place, I understand COVID-19 is an issue but all the more reaaon to maintain proper cleanliness in a hotel/in. Do reconsider if you plan on staying for more than 1 night, definitely not for families or casual stay.

The room was clean, breakfast was okay, location of the hotel is great. However, the room air conditioner was on a centralize eco mode, so after cooling for sometime it would turn off and after sometime it would turn back on. Due to the frequent change in the room temperature every night it affected my sleep.

Front desk was nice and room was clean. the room was darker then expected, no windows, and it did not look as it did in pictures. the place was quiet and safe. appreciated the free parking and breakfast. the price was a bit too much for what it was.

Small space to accommodate four people, no reality to the pictures. Breakfast was a joke. A muffin, granola bar and a juice box, like seriously I understand COVID but still this could be decent. Need to improve their services. Would not stay there again.

It is the best Day inn I’ve ever been in the World. Our room is huge and clean. The beds are cosy. The hotel is located next to freeway but our room was surprisingly quiet. The hotel is a good spot to stop on a road trip as it’s affordable with free parking.

This year was terrible. For my stay the room was never cleaned Very disappointed. Small space to accommodate, no reality to the pictures. Breakfast was a joke, like being served to inmates. Sheets were dirty, felt so itchy that i ended up sleeping in my car. Would not stay there again.

The hotel looks nice in the pictures but the rooms are not that great. When we went our room was basically falling apart. The AC didn't work properly, the TV didn't work properly, the washroom was small and stuffy and did not have a window or fan. So all the hot air and smell would come to the main room. They should really install fans in the washrooms. The room does include a mini fridge but does not include a microwave. The front desk area had 2 microwaves. They did give free contential breakfast and it was good. The WiFi was terrible because they had too many users so it would just not connect. We did ask the front desk and they restarted the router and it started working and then after a while it disconnected from my phone and had to ask them to restart again. They really need to upgrade thier internet setup. The front desk was friendly and did not have any issues with them.

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!!! I have to say by far the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE AND STAY THAT I'VE EVER HAD!! We met Fatin at the reception she was very welcoming, professional and helpful. We accidentally booked the wrong room online, Fatin and Sami were both very helpful with getting us a much nicer and bigger room for an amazing price. Traveling with family or alone, I would definitely recommend sraying at this hotel. Thank you so much for making our stay perfect, we'll definitely be back in the summer 😀😃

The biggest plus at this location is the staff. Everyone I met from support staff to the manager was very polite and helpful for the entire experience from inquiry to check out. A true pleasure to work with. However, the rooms need a lot of attention to meet the standards advertised by this chain. Although the structure and amenities are spot on, the cleanliness is very poor. Our room had many mystery stains on the carpet and wall, even after we requested cleaning. There was debris under the beds and in the shower corners, indicating minimum effort by housekeeping. Convenient location for travelers, just off the highway with plenty of parking. Would be excellent to see more breakfast options from the (independently operated) restaurant, even a simple continental one.

This was my second and final stay at this hotel. The rooms are small and not very clean, which is a crucial aspect of your stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the room left a lot to be desired. It's also pretty far from all the touristic attractions.

  • 5/5 Chang Gue K. 1 year ago on Google
Night staffs were amazing. They were very professional and great helps. Room was clean and only downside we had was there was no open window on our side, but beside that its clean and good inn to stay. Location is something you would want to think about if you want to see wake up and see relaxing forest place this ain't the place to stay but if you rented a car it's nice cause you are staying in a place where its 45 min to downtown but also 2 hour 30 to the Old Quebec. Also you would think having road outside is noisy but surprisingly it did not at all.

Super swift check in check out. A lot of shops in the neighbourhood. Also next to highway Basic room, washroom and amenities but very well maintained and clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Air conditioner a bit noisy. No elevator. Walk up. Highly recommended if you are looking for some basic clean facilities for a night or two, with no frills

We had a really great stay at the Days Inn. The front desk was nice and hotel was clean and a great value. The bathroom did have a loose shower door. Everything was great and we checked the room when we first got there. It was clean, no bed bugs, and great location. People that said it was far from downtown, you're paying half the money per night. Our uber was only $27 to downtown each way. Pretty good. I would recommend staying in a king room or suite like we did for the extra money.

Customer service was excellent. I forgot my steamer 3 weeks ago in the Hotel after my wedding. I was close by, and decide to try to see if they still had it by any chance, and they did. I’m surprise they kept it in great condition for me. This was amazing, I therefore give it a 5 star experience. Thanks again for the honesty!!!

Decent hotel to stay at when in Montreal. Since majority of the day would be spent outside, this is not a bad option. Our room was comfortable. Washroom was spacious. There was a fridge in our room. Theres a microwave in the lobby that can be used that we were not aware of before. They serve breakfast (unlimited coffee, muffin, juice, granola bar).

This place was ok. Just a quick overnight stay. The rooms are small and the beds are uncomfortable. Less than enough shampoo n conditioner bottles along with less than enough towels. I’d most likely choose another hotel next time I’m in Canada.

Upon our arrival, the gentlemen at the front desk what pretty sympatic, although there was ALOT of people (hockey tournament). The 2 queens room was ok. Washroom was tiny and tiles were cracked. The air exchanger was on air conditionning, mid december :| and once we brought it to heating it kept propulsing cold air coming on and going off every half hour, all night long... there was no microwave in the room and no water fountains in the hotel. The 2 double beds room was TINY even for 3-4 persons. You can hear everything going on on the floor, upstairs and in the rooms on each side. Seems to be cardboard walls. No breakfast included. We had a team dinner in between two games at DLounge (hotel restaurant). A reservation for 5pm was made for 35 persons when the hotel booking was made. We came down to the restaurant for 5pm and there was a group of people chilling, watching the soccer game...we had to wait in the hall since nothing was readdy. We found out there was a reduced menu since we we're a big group (nothing gluten free). We ordered poutines (they were cold), the kids ordered fettucini alfredo...it wasnt an alfredo sauce, more like a cream sauce and there was a bunch of mushrooms...no one ate or finished their plate and it was pretty pricy (3$ for water, 20$ for nasty pastas :|). With the group booking, everyone had to take a minimum of 2 nights. Unfortunately, our team was eliminated the first day (friday), so we left on saturday morning since we had no more business to do there. I asked the lady at checkout if she could gift our 2nd night to someone that would need it, and she said no, we dont do that, plus I wont have my staff clean twice the same room. And she said, so your leaving? Make sure you didnt forget anything in the room or else too bad. She was really mean and unprofessional. Anyways, we got to sleep a couple hours for 330$...waste of time and money!
