I made a prepaid reservation back in January for the Vogue hotel for a stay in May. I booked a non-refundable flight to get there. Today, I received a call that they were canceling my stay due to renovations. They offered me nothing to assist with finding another hotel. Prices for both flights and hotels have skyrocketed in the last three months. I will not be making another reservation at this establishment. Edit: I contacted Hilton and the hotel, as requested in the reply. Both told me I needed to cancel my reservation and good luck finding somewhere else to stay.

Love this hotel! Beautiful interior and very luxurious feeling. The lobby is gorgeous and spacious. The breakfast is only cereal, pastries, and fruit, but absolutely delicious. The fruit is fresh. And oh gosh, the croissants are so fluffy and buttery and the best I've ever had!! I had a king room and it was very nice. My boyfriend and I both loved it. The room was spacious and everything was so comfortable. The TV was big. The bathroom was also super spacious. The jacuzzi is fun. Location wise, the hotel is in an amazing spot. There's so much resturants and things to do all within walking distance!

Vogue Hotel is such a beautiful and luxurious hotel! It’s definitely my go to and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s staying over night in Montréal. The staff are so kind and treat you like royalty the entire stay, especially the valet staff. The hotel is incredibly clean and the location is absolutely amazing, it’s in the heart of St.Catherine and is in walking to distance to everything! I will continuously be returning. Thank you for the memorable and great experience! ☺️

Although we have stayed at this hotel on and off for many years, we will not be back. The hotel has gone downhill since being taken over by Hilton. It is definitely not a “ Fine Hotel” as stated by AMEX. 2 stars at best!!

This place is awesome. The entire staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and very luxurious. Even though the hotel is being renovated you still get great service. While their breakfast option is not bad, the hotel is located within walking distance to other breakfast options. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Montreal.

No valet or door man. They are short staffed, will need to wait to get help with bags or car, even though valet is set at $54.00 plus tips. The bathroom sink had a sewage smell. A technician showed up upon reporting that refused any foul smell. As a fix, he left the water running and asked us to do so before using the sink each time. We were there only for three days, so we learnt to live with it but won't be booking again. The receptionist could have been more pleasant. We included breakfast while booking, but the receptionist refused to acknowledge this during check-in. When I showed my copy of the reservation, they offered to use a small amount of money towards a la carte items. They said that's how it works in Montreal. I asked for the difference (with and without breakfast) to be refunded.

Came here towards the end of our Montreal trip to celebrate my fiancés 40th birthday. Upon checking in, we received an upgrade to our room since he is a diamond member which made us very happy! The service was exceptional, all of the staff were very friendly. The drinks at the bar were thoughtfully made and the lobby is gorgeous. This hotel is also in the best location. My only complaint was that our bathroom didn’t really “match” our room - it’s like they upgraded everything in the hotel expect the bathrooms. Would still gladly return the next time we are in Montreal.

This is a true luxury hotel! The staff are spectacular. I have never stayed in a hotel where the bellman brought ice to your room. Every staff interaction was an incredible experience. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was like having an in room spa including a jacuzzi tub, and top notch amenities. This hotel is my new Montreal favourite. It is about to under go a reno, I hope the beauty and charm carry over. I look forward to returning to this hotel!

The staff are super friendly and helpful in providing activity and restaurant suggestions. The rooms are very good value and the location is convenient. We were particularly pleased with how well our dog Zelda was treated. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Montréal.

Wow! Vogue hotel is what Montreal desperately needed. Not only were the room and common spaces designed to perfection, every little detail blew me away. From the soaps, to the bathrobes, everything embodies comfort and luxury. The location was perfect as it sits on Montagne street in the heart of downtown Montreal. The staff was so friendly and personable, they accommodated all my needs so graciously. This hotel is truly spectacular. I cannot wait for my next visit!

Great location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. You are made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in and right at home for your entire stay with any needs you have being met immediately. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The bath amenities smelled so good I loved the added touches of the month wash, bath salts and loofah! The bath towels were thick and very soft. Everything about the Hotel feels very luxury. My favorites part was Ending every day with a soak in the jetted extra large tub! It was perfect! Towards the end of are stay we got given a tour of the remodel in progress once its finished it will be beautiful but don't let that keep your from booking to stay here as there was no noise! We Will definitely be back and stay here again.

Great location and nice and comfortable rooms! Loved the stay. The mini bar and the little snacks add a really nice touch. We had a room with a large tub with jets and that was a nice and pleasant surprise! We did not try the restaurant but it seemed to be always full. Especially on the weekend. Other pluses were the bathrobes, slippers and even a black little towel to remove makeup.

Perfect Christmas weekend stay at Vogue. Service was great. The little things of this hotel really made it unique and memorable. Valet men were sweet and even left us with two bottles of water in our car on our last day. The hotel also gave us a some gifts during our stay and I thought that was such a thoughtful gesture. Le labo products were another chefs kiss touch to the room.

This was an amazing experience from reception to checkout. Even the valet service was exceptional. I really wish we would have stayed for more than one night but we will for sure be back in the future.

I had a fantastic time in The Vogue. The check in was great and very enthusiastic , the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, bed luxurious and the bathtub was great. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious but there were often long wait time specially at breakfast, the service while seating was super. The gym was very complete and spotless clean. The younger crew members needs to be train more in hospitality, say hello to the guests and offer them to enter or exit the elevators first for example, details that are customary in hotels of this caliber. The complimentary Wifi in the room was too slow most of the time unusable, they have a premium package for purchase. The check out was rather cold and transactional. The valet parking was not as organized as I hoped but the attendant was apologetic. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to go back next time I’m in Montreal for business or pleasure. Book and enjoy.

ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with this hotel and staff! I cannot wait to return! The ambiance sets the time for the overall experience. The rooms are spacious and designed immaculately. The food menu, beverages, wait staff and bartenders are at 25 star quality (5 star squared)!! Checking my calendar to see how soon I can return!!! DEFINITE quality stay here.

It’s my go to when I come to Montréal. The staffs are so attentive, their friendly smiles, kind gestures - offering to store my things in a safe place while i was out and about. The valet who were eager to help you upon arrival (Michael, Kamal) The front desk staffs (Laetitia, Juliette) warm welcoming, their tone, maybe it’s a Quebec thing i don’t know..they were great! Don’t forget to try their delicious cocktails. Due to my time limit in the last visit, I ordered lunch to go..it was well packed and did not take long. The restaurant host was very eager to assist upon arrival for breakfast, the waiters were attentive..noticed what I needed even before I could thought of it. It was my third time staying at Vogue, I was glad to see their visions transforming during the renovation: before and after. The first visit experience was limited due to unfinished restaurant and the lobby..but the staffs attitude has never falter. The bed was super comfortable, hot-tub was nice..a piece of mind to have it. I stayed in the King apartment suite once, love the space..it had a kitchenette, full size fridge, love the premium bluetooth speaker. As a whole; the design, location, friendly service, and the foods…I have given them 5-star. Thank you everyone at Vogue Hotel for the good memories. Salut!!

Friendly staff and very welcoming. But: be aware of the elevator aka the train which is loud as hell and you can hear it all night. The WiFi is terrible and it is impossible to work. Clean and spacious rooms - but the noise and WiFi are -2 stars.

Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Very quiet in the room. Friendly and efficient service. One of the nicer Hiltons we've stayed in. Note that the double rooms have double, not queen beds.

Location is downtown across from a nice mall. Everything in it I can’t touch but nice 🤣🤣. The service is quick and impeccable. Valet took care of my car like it was theirs. The baker my was phenomenal. The bar tenders know their drinks I’m an old fashioned guy and I was lit after one. This place knows their food. I know food as a chef Check me out IG: chef_raymond_

Loved staying here! The hotel and room were beautiful!! Location was right downtown near all the shopping. It is also a short walk to old montreal. Very good location. Would highly recommend. The restaurant in the lobby is delicious as well. Best breakfast!!!

Wow, this boutique hotel is absolutely gorgeous. A must experience if you’re ever in MTL. It’s newly renovated in the last few months so all the facilities and decor are brand spanking new. All rooms are generously sized and decked out with top of the line linens and their hospitality line is Le Labo with my favourite Santal 33 scent. Continental breakfast was also delicious with fresh baked goods and fresh fruits. I was in heaven at this place. Highly recommend.

We checked in at 4:45pm and the room was not ready. It was just unacceptable when the policy guaranteed check in by 4pm. The receptionist did offer us some refreshments and free parking for one night. But after a long day of traveling, the last thing we wanted to hear the room was not ready and we waited for another hour for it. The service at the restaurant for breakfast the next morning was super slow. The staff was nice, but they were just not well trained or prepared to serve a busy holiday weekend. We ended up ordering room service the second day to avoid a long wait and slow service. We also had to request for housekeeping 3 times to clean the room. Housekeeping finally came by at 7pm to clean the room and they did such a sloppy job cleaning. It was a horrible experience overall. We booked this hotel through Amex Platinum, which labeled this hotel as Fine Hotels & Resorts. It should have not been on this list. I must say. We normally have good experience with Amex, but not this time.

Location, location, location. You could not ask for a better location than the Vogue Montreal. Located in the heart of Downtown Montreal across the street from a luxury department store. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. My fiancé and myself missed our connecting flight due to weather and the hotel did not charge us for the missed the day even though we did not provide proper notice. The room was beautiful, modern and clean. If you order room service, make sure to take advantage of the truffle fries.

Fabulous. Absolutely fabulous. Great service. Great food. Room has one less star because the jets in the bathtub did not work, but the bath was still fantastic. Would definitely stay here again any chance I get. Would highly recommend.

Nice hotel with good design and location. the only reasons for 4 stars: 1) There is a mechanical noise at night (AC?) 2) My room and other friends' rooms were wrongly charged for minibar we never even touched? but they refunded right away so make sure to check your credit cards.

  • 4/5 emma w. 6 months ago on Google
The rooms are very beautiful. And the hotel is amazing. I stayed there with my boyfriend who booked the room. The reason for 4 stars is: 1) when getting breakfast I ordered an orange pekoe tea and instead they brought a red berry tea which would be fine but I am allergic to cranberries and strawberries so I couldnt drink it and the employees seemed a little upset with my request for a different tea after. 2) It seems like they overcharged us a bit because we had some credits and they arent answering the phone for us to get in contact with them regarding this.

Very nice rooms with nice amenities and great service. Good 4-star hotel. However, the rrstaurant was a disappointment. Hilton really missed the mark on this, by trying to make it trendy. They should have kept the old restaurant with its unique offerings and ambience.

  • 5/5 Cole R. 6 months ago on Google
We've stayed at a lot of Hilton properties including Waldorf's and Conrads. This hotel most definitely is in the same class as those more prestigious brands in the portfolio. Excellent location in the city, very posh fit up in the guest room, hotel restaurant and bar is upscale, and most importantly the hospitality of the staff is particularly good. We were welcomed, we enjoyed the stay, and we felt valued as Diamond members. Would most definitely recommend to a friend and will be staying the next time we're in town.

Absolutely love this hotel. The decor is beautiful. Thoughtfully curated art. Great gym too. Oh and the Le Labo toiletries keep the lux vibes goin. The hotel lobby’s bar is just out of this world too- they have a unique concept where you touch the texture of a cocktail and they make it for you!

Currently guests at the Hotel and I am disappointed to have to give such a bad review. I am a Hilton Honours Gold member and never had to complain about a Hilton hotel. The service at this hotel was so bad that for the first time ever I opened a formal complaint file with Hilton. The hotel is beautiful. Interior design is top notch, room is great and the bed is very comfortable. The big let down of this hotel is housekeeping and Yama bar staff. I was very shocked by this as it was actually the worst service we had during our entire Canada trip. Majority of the staff at the Yama bar were too preoccupied with themselves and being arrogant. On top of this there were far too many mishaps for a hotel of this calibre. - We were snubbed at Yama restaurant on first night for not wanting to eat there due to extremely loud DJ (my partner has hearing difficulties) - Room amenities: shower gel bottle empty at arrival, no shower cap etc just sloppy - At 6am on a Saturday we received a telephone call from front desk asking about guest we don’t know about. No apologies were made and we had to actively seek help to understand what happened from the front desk supervisor. Scary and bizarre situation. - Housekeeping wanted to clean the room at 11 and was quite rude to my partner to get out of the room - Robes taken away (without asking) next day during housekeeping and not replaced - At Yama bar on two different nights: took a while to receive our drinks and for our second order, after 20minutes of ordering we had to go to the bar and ask what was happening and they said they ‘didn’t have the order’ despite several bar staff being available. - Room service breakfast was yoghurt, it came with a fork and knife (no spoon) again just showing the lack of attention All in all, it’s a beautiful hotel and we cannot fault the room itself because it was very good. The staff however, specifically at Yama restaurant and housekeeping, are completely indifferent to guests being present. You have to fight for normal service and that is the last thing anyone on holiday would like to do. Edited: noting I was never offered a conversation with the Yama restaurant director.

I wanted to try a new hotel in Montreal and Vogue did not disappoint, the location is great right in downtown. The valet welcomes you kindly upon arrival, the front desk is courteous and attentive, I stayed in a king bed high floor that had a nice view of the city, the bathroom was spacious, taking a bath there after a long day was much needed. Room service was excellent, they read me the menu when I wasn’t sure what to order haha also arrived quick, the morning (2pm) I checked out they went over the chargers to my room just as a courtesy which I appreciated, overall a pleasant experience and will be coming back when I have the chance to visit the city again.

I stayed 11/10-11/12 in room 510. I choose this hotel because the first time I came about 2 years ago I loved it- I got a room upgrade, concierge was nice, I was made to feel special. This time I felt like I was a chore, the jets in the tub weren’t working, I asked for a later checkout (of less than a hour) and the woman was so rude and offended I even asked. It was just such a different experience this time, one I will certainly not go back for. Also- the restaurant is very high end/club vibe. It is not a hotel for families or casual people. This was not an issue for me as it was just me and my husband, but I would’ve felt so uncomfortable if my kids were with me.

My experience at this hotel was a nightmare. The receptionist staff were shockingly rude, engaging in a 30-minute argument over parking and Hilton Honor benefits. I had to call Hilton customer service to resolve the issue, wasting 1 hour and 30 minutes of my time. At the end, Hilton person apologised on the phone and told me I was right but staff at reception were rude and reluctant to talk to me or solve the confusion. The only positive was the clean room, but that's something I expect from any Hilton. I wouldn't recommend this place and have no plans to return. Terrible customer service experience! I forgot to mention, I was charged for using Mini Bar which I didn’t use. They rectified the charges after 1 month but I had a hard time talking to them.

We stayed for 4 nights. We booked through Visa infinite luxury hotel collection and was given complimentary breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and food was great. We watched two Habs games when we were there and it was a walking distance to the Bell centre. We would stay here again for the future.

I stayed with my two young children in a King apartment suite. The room itself is spacious, ultra modern and cozy. It is far superior to any other Montreal hotel rooms in the same price range. The only drawback is the “fireplace” which is essentially a light. It is underwhelming and out of place. The hotel lobby is beautiful and warm. Food in the hotel (Yama/Bazin) is delicious, but pricey. The game changer was the impeccable service we received. We will be back very soon.

  • 5/5 Richard L. 1 year ago on Google
The best asset of this hotel is their staff. Upon our arrival around 6pm-ish, the front desk staff and manager provided excellent hospitality and made us feel warm and welcome. The major issue with this hotel is it renovation in progress, which leading to problems with room and facility amenities availability. So, if you want to enjoy all amenities at the hotel, you will be disappointed until perhaps latter part of the year. Other than that, this hotel is located in a great location in city center of Montreal, and is within walking distance to many attractions, shopping and dinning places. I would definitely go back to this hotel again.

  • 3/5 Jenny C. 2 years ago on Google
A bit overpriced for what you're getting. Yes, you're in the heart of Montréal and the service is great, but the lack of amenities don't make this hotel worth it. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and masks were encouraged (but not strictly enforced) in common areas. The restaurant downstairs has pretty good food, but they're only open until 10pm and you can't order room service once they close.

Had a great experience at this hotel. It has a great location close to St-Catherine, the room I booked was large and was well equipped, we needed a microwave for our baby’s milk and it was brought right up. Excellent service from the whole staff at the hotel. Will revisit again

Really enjoyed the time at the hotel. The staff was always accommodating for any requests that we had. The cleanliness during these COVID times was top notch. To be fair, the staff are the real gems of this hotel.

We decided to spend our anniversary in Montreal and my husband chose the Vogue hotel for our accommodation. And to be honest - I couldn’t be happier. It was SUCH AN AMAZINGGGGG place. We stayed for 3 nights and the staff were incredible. From the moment we walked to the front desk, they were able to answer ALL of our inquiries. The gentleman at the front doors - Luis was such a breath of fresh air. He was exceptionally nice and held the door for us and just had great banter with us. Not to mention how good the food was at La Societe - absolutely incredible. Amazing customer service once again and Matthew (the server) took care of us every single time. I would 100% return to this location. Such an amazing time.

Hubby and I managed to get away this past weekend and had the pleasure of staying here. Firstly, the staff was very helpful and accommodating - from the valets (special mention to Michel!) to the front reception staff (extra special mention to Diana and Megane and the 2 gentlemen that helped me with the late checkout!). There was one night that we wanted to eat at a particular restaurant that was showing "no available tables" to reserve for the night in question. We asked the front desk to try to get us a reservation and within an hour of our request, they had managed to get us a reservation for 2 at the restaurant. Talk about getting results! Now for the actual room. We stayed in a King Deluxe Suite and it was everything we had hoped an more. The room is huge, and the entire suite was CLEAN! All it was missing was a mini-fridge, and when we called down inquiring if we could get one, they sent one up within 20 minutes of us calling. The floor we were on was quiet, and even though we were placed near to the elevators (which we usually don't like), we must admit that the entire time we were there, it was quiet and we couldn't even hear people getting on and off the elevator. The only detail that we would say was missing is an actual ice machine room on our floor - we had to go down 3 floors to the 6th floor to get ice. Not sure why they don't put ice machines on every floor, but it's quite a minor detail in the grand scheme of things. Also, it would have been nice to have a pool and/or a spa available onsite. That would definitely increase the appeal even more. Overall, this was a beautiful stay and we would not hesitate to stay here again (hopefully for a longer time)! Thank you, again, Vogue Hotel Staff for making our weekend such a peaceful and enjoyable one!

I’ve stayed here several times. Previously a Loews property. The rooms and beds are very nice, and staff is friendly. They are preparing for a renovation so Restaurant/Bar is closed, and they don’t offer fresh brewed coffee in the morning. You have to utilize coffee maker in the room, or go off site.

Posted at Tripadvisor: Overall: We rate the hotel 3 out of 5. We wished we could give more, but the breakfast situation and their insistence of charging us the 4th night really ding their score in our mind. We will not go back here. I think we'll give The Four Seasons, Fairmont QE or Sofitel Golden Mile a try the next time we are back in town.

Excellent location in the heart of downtown Montreal with lots of shops and restos nearby. Service was also excellent. Of note was the bedding/sheets - very luxurious and the huge plush towels were the most decadent I've ever seen in a hotel. The only downside is that the hotel is getting on in age so the decor is a bit dated, but apparently renovation of the rooms are on-going. In terms of value this hotel is 5 stars.

Just checked in but already had an amazing experience with the front desk. First time in Montreal, Abed and Mohamed the front desk staff, were extremely helpful with suggestions and getting us settled. Louis was super friendly and helpful with our luggage. They really sold us on coming back and staying here even though we just checked in. Room is very spacious, clean and elegant! So far great experience.

This hotel is currently under construction and is missing some amenities but don't let that deter you from staying there. It's a very comfortable room in a great and convenient part of downtown. The towels and robes are the best of any hotel we've stayed at. The staff is also very accommodating. It's a great option if you're visiting Montreal.

Very biased, lazy, irresponsible, ignorant, you can see anything except hospitality there! Our rooms weren't ready, and they kept us on hold for hours in the lobby. We were with three seniors, and they didn't even care to get the room ready faster or provide them with any comfort. The rooms are very ordinary, and the staff are like robots. Worse experience of our trip to Montreal

Last minute booking, super expensive for what it is. $615 for a night for a deluxe room. Got upgraded as I am a Hilton Honors Gold member. The room is beautiful but couldn't admire much as we had a tragedy at home. Even though I informed the staff about the tragedy, they never asked for anything comforting they could do for us. Rather I was charged $7 for consuming two water bottles from the fridge. I called the hotel today to ask what those charges were for, after a long wait I was informed about the water, and was told "next time just ask for the cold water from the reception, don't use the fridge". Rude. I am disappointed with Hilton. Won't give my business again to them.

Even without restaurant and bar access (remodeling) the hotel is fantastic. Breakfast is promptly delivered daily. Hotel staff were attentive and very friendly. Rooms were great, spacious. Great tub! And the location is central to downtown, with lots to do and see nearby. Would recommend.

Everything about our stay was excellent. We had stayed at the Lowes property approximately 3 years ago, prior to the beautiful renovation we were pleasantly surprised by. We were given a warm greeting by the valet attendant, had a seamless check-in experience, were blown away by the modern yet luxurious rooms, enjoyed the large gym space, and the staff was lovely. I forgot how amazing the location is, as well. Can't wait for my next stay at the new Vogue hotel!

I just have to say, that from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we got to our room my significant other and I felt embellished by hospitality and an attention to detail. From concierge parking, an upgraded room, to the hand written birthday note and bottle of champagne; the staff at the Vogue went above and beyond to ensure my partner’s birthday was extra special. You only get to celebrate the milestone of 30 once, and we’re so glad we chose the Vogue Hotel in Montreal to celebrate it with.

We had an exceptional stay... Great attention to detail (love the elevated decor and signature scent) and the service is superb. Location is walking distance to tons of key attractions and surrounded by the best shopping and restaurants. Our new go to in Montreal.

Towards the end of are stay we got given a tour of the remodel in progress once its finished it will be beautiful but don't let that keep your from booking to stay here

One of the best hotel experiences we've had. Rooms are comfortable and it actually gets near total darkness for a good night sleep. The staff is super eager to assist with anything. Visitors who observe kosher dietary laws should be aware this location is prime for downtown activities, but all dining is 20 minutes by car, on average.

It was not a bad stay but could maybe be a 4 star but it does not feel anything near as good as it was the last number of times. It could be COVID or transition from Loews. Left us feeling lacking. Too bad as we loved this hotel for our Montreal getaways.

Had a great stay at this super-chic hotel. From the moment you walk in the door, you will see that everything is perfectly appointed. The rooms are beautiful and have all the comforts of home and then some. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is excellent as well. This will be my new go-to hotel in Montreal. Kudos to staff and management on a job well done.

Nice rooms but can’t give this place a good review. Got in after a flight cancellation at 2am, literally had to wait 40 minutes for them to figure out my booking. No big deal; I don’t really put the blame on them. BUT, they forgot to take my credit card info for incidentals, and had they audacity to cal my hotel room at 4am to get my credit card info. I had to wait 15 minutes for them to come and get my card. Could not fall asleep after this. This was not an urgent matter; and should have been dealt with at checkout in the morning. Now I am super tired going back to airport; from a totally annoying late night wake up call…
