Great
location,
with
nearby
sites,
shopping,
and
restaurants
-
many
within
easy
walking
distance
(even
for
the
elderly
and
physically
challenged).
The
restaurant
off
the
lobby
turned
out
to
be
quite
good
(we
conveniently
ate
there
on
our
last
night);
and
the
best
restaurant
we
visited
in
Montreal
(Vargus)
was
just
a
block
away.
The
rooms
were
clean,
large
and
spacious
with
a
particularly
light
and
airy
feel
due
to
the
wall
to
wall
windows
and
high
ceilings.
A
full
kitchen
(dishwasher,
oven
with
cook
top,
sink,
and
full
refrigerator)
was
very
nice.
The
bed
was
comfortable.
The
cleaning
staff
were
prompt,
thorough,
and
responsive
to
requests
(more
coffee
packets,
sugar,
etc.).
The
hotel
was
adequately
staffed
and
the
staff
quite
helpful.
For
instance,
when
we
called
before
arrival
to
ask
about
accessibility
options,
they
informed
us
of
construction
going
on
at
one
side
and
the
back
of
the
hotel.
They
then
ensured
that
our
three
rooms
were
not
facing
that.
The
construction
around
the
hotel
was
only
a
moderate
/
occasional
impediment
to
driving
and
walking.
And
despite
street
construction
all
over
Montreal,
this
hotel's
location
allows
easy
access
from
/
to
a
main
road
and
some
back
ways
in
and
out
(though
around
Philips
Square,
many
are
one
way).
A
long
level
area
in
front
of
the
hotel
was
reserved
for
loading
and
unloading.
So
there
were
no
problems
with
passing
traffic.
Valets
(usually
immediately
available)
then
parked
your
car
in
a
hotel
garage
and
retrieved
it
on
request.
A
guest
laundry,
gym,
pool,
and
a
nice
large
wrap-around
observation
deck
is
on
the
top
floor.
The
hotel
is
well
insulated
from
the
weather
and
sound.
Of
course,
it
helps
that
the
hotel
is
on
a
side
street
and
not
a
main
road.
