This hotel was mixed! It had really wonderful service and staff… kind and attentive. The location is also great. The suite we got was in the Maison, and it honestly was tattered, dirty and there were intense sewage smells all weekend. The sofa in our suite was frayed all over and had dark dirty staining. The rugs we pretty gross and the room hadn’t been vacuumed particularly well. It’s an expensive hotel to have rooms in that condition. It unfortunate because the location, staff and the historic architecture are all really nice and unique.

Really enjoy the cool trendy vibes of this hotel, rooms are very comfortable, and there is always a hand written personalized card welcoming me to the hotel, valet guys are really great, they are often the first people you meet at the hotel and make a great impression, car seats are always warm in the morning ( I haven't worked out how they do that) and a bottle of water waiting in the car, restaurants are great and the wine and cocktail list is extensive, great art work and furniture and right in the center of the old port near the art galleries, law courts and great restaurants. Highly recommended

I have a passion for hotels. In fact, I don't so much go travelling as I go "Hotelling". To me, a great hotel is more a verb than a noun! Why? Simply, a great hotel requires more than the expected luxuries, all of which the William Gray offers in abundance: large rooms, carefully designed appointments, a wonderful bed, "enough" closet space and what is, without exaggeration, the greatest shower head I have ever encountered. (Yes, I took a picture of the shower head!) However, what sets the Gray apart from other wonderful Old Montreal hotels is its remarkable staff. I spent four wonderful days here - a delayed birthday celebration. My every request - including a few I hadn't actually requested - was met in a calm, professional, engaging manner. The Gray's staff has managed to elevate "teamwork" to the level of an elegant art and their energy is infectious. For example, the charming Concierge Team - Veronique, Sabina and Leonie - organized almost every aspect of my stay, suggesting amazing restaurants, the best routes to attractions, and even (Thank You!) a couple of things to avoid. A few moments with them each morning and I was ready to head out on that day's adventure. Add to all this people power a perfect location, an excellent restaurant (Maggie Oakes) and some truly amazing bartenders and you have everything you need to make an urban getaway a hedonist's dream. My thanks to you all and I will see you the next time I need a "birthday"!

I've done a fair amount of travel, and this is one of the best hotels out there. Exceptional service, nice design/ decor, comfortable rooms (great showers!), and a perfect location for enjoying Montreal. The staff are very polite, professional, and helpful (and they're very patient whenever I try to practice my French, which is terrible). Can't recommend the William Gray highly enough.

We stayed here for our anniversary and truly enjoyed our stay. Got the love package and the room was nicely decorated with some flowers and dessert and sugary. We had an amazing view from our room. The bed was super comfortable (one of the best beds we have tried) and our room was so clean. Also tried their massage and Thermal experience and we loved it, it is a nice addition to your stay to relax. Their Terrace restaurant on the 8th floor has an amazing view to the port. We did not like their food and menu tho ! They Could work more their food. There is an Italian cafe next to the hotel which has amazing coffee and pastries. The hotel’s location is amazing. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a romantic and relaxing place to stay in the heart of the old port !

My wife and I stayed at the William Gray for New Year’s weekend. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was amazing with multiple heads. We had requested a room that provided quiet, and we were very pleased with the room selected by the staff. On the downside, the bath towels, while clean, were frayed. The room was a little smaller than anticipated. It would have great if the provided toiletries were in sustainable containers.

As wedding season is coming up, I thought I’d add my review in case any bride is thinking of staying here the night before their big day. I actually stayed in the Deluxe Suite last July (night before my wedding) and the bad memories still creep up from time to time. Let’s start with the pros. The suite itself was nice. It was spacious and I felt comfortable enough throughout the hectic morning when my hair stylist and makeup artist joined me in the room. I had my “first look” at the stairs near the lobby and got some great pictures. We also had some beautiful family pictures taken in the little garden area. The main reason why I stayed here was for the location. I thought it would be easier and more efficient to be near the places we would be taking pictures at before the ceremony. Now the major con. I did not get ANY sleep and I think that’s one of the worst things that can happen the night before your wedding. There’s zero soundproofing so I spent all night tossing and turning, getting so frustrated with the constant ruckus outside in the streets. I tried to change room but of course they’re all booked. The concierge was nice enough to have someone from their sister establishment bring over some earplugs - that’s A+ service there! But unfortunately, I was still able to hear all that noise through the earplugs. I was completely exhausted in the morning and kept worrying about how I was going to get through the big day without any sleep. Thankfully my adrenaline and the day’s excitement kept me going. But brides, be careful if you’re thinking of staying overnight here before your wedding. You need your beauty sleep and I’m worried you won’t get it here.

This is our second time at this lovely property and our stay was fantastic from start to end. When we checked in GM Vittorio personally came to greet us which was such a kind gesture and kudos to him for operating such a beautiful property and one of the best team he has under his leadership! Tom the valet person was great and always there to help and goes an extra mile! Sabina at the concierge was so helpful with all our request! We only have great things to say, if its Old Montreal it is only going to be William Gray Hotel. Great location, amazing staff and fabulous hospitality, can ask for more! Kudos William Gray Hotel.. Best Wishes, Andy

Everything was great and the room was beautiful and nice. Very nice experience here at hotel William Gray. If I could say the only downfall to it was the doors. They are very heavy doors so if our neighbor left their room everything works kind of shake when the door closed. But I guess that vent be helped. Over all a great experience and will definitely go again and try a different kind of room as they have many great options to suit your style or needs. Plus it's right at is port so makes for a great walk outdoors. A1

Spent 3 nights at hotel this past MLK Weekend with a group of 12 adults. Lovely hotel in central spot Old Montreal. Great amenities- restaurant, coffee shop, spa, roomy common areas and underground parking. Very nice staff. Restaurant/ bar staff very accommodating. Shout out to “Ace” our Bartender. Food very good. Got a nice group rate discount. Couldn’t have been better.

You wanna stay here when you visit Montreal. Hotel staff is amazing. From the valet out front to the front desk. Also the staff working in the hallways and rooms. The restaurant is wonderful. Great food. Polite servers. Great location. Plenty of things surrounding. And rooms very clean and bed comfortable. The shower is amazing. 😁

My absolute favorite hotel to stay at in Montreal! I've been a William Gray fan since they first opened and have had an exceptional experience EVERY SINGLE TIME! Upon arrival with the valet team and then to check in, the staff are warm, friendly + helpful. I always appreciate the complimentary bottles of water waiting in the clean rooms, ample towels in the washroom, Le Labo products and a seriously amazing shower! (don't underestimate the joy of a good hotel shower). The beds are a great size and really comfortable. I love my summer visits to the hotel so that we can enjoy their beautiful rooftop terraces, exceptional views of the Old Port. I've enjoyed breakfast, lunch + dinner at the hotel restaurant, Maggie Oakes and it has always been good and consistent. I've enjoyed a few visits to Spa William Gray and highly recommend the thermal circuit as well as a massage with Petra - she's excellent! This hotel is chic, full of good energy, has a lovely team of staff that works at the hotel and the location is prime! A MUST VISIT!

Phenomenal. Had just a day in Montréal recently and stayed here. We had a corner King that was spacious and bright. The decor is minimal and trendy, but not utilitarian. The bed was amazing, I just wanted to laze in it all day, but there was too much good food and sightseeing to be had! The shower was sublime, I didn't know I needed 5 different shower heads all pelting me in various ways and intensities. Service was chill and stellar and made you feel like a million bucks. If you're driving, you must do the valet parking - the hotel is right in old town and parking is a nightmare. We had a delicious breakkie at Maggie Oakes, with the maple kouign-amann (queen a-mahn) being a surprise hit for Mr. Uruk. I insist you try it! Overall, well worth the price point, and so central to some of the best walking areas in town.

We were invited to a wedding so no comment on the rooms as we did not book one. Speaking about the establishment per se,it was fantastic. The first and most important factor would be it’s incredible staff. I am speaking top of the trade attendees. The hotel itself was gorgeous and comfortable. Restrooms plentiful. I did notice a spa which was being frequented which is a nice touch to a hotel. Location is great if you’re around the downtown area.

Elegant hotel in the center of downtown. Shops, restaurants and warf are all right there. Terrace Rooftop bar is quite popular with the younger crowd. The food at the restaurant was excellent.

Service, hospitality, Rooms- all excellent! Everything was what we imagined and hoped for when booking a hotel in old Montreal. I've stayed here a few times and will continue to go back! I can't wait to take advantage of the SPA!!

Really fantastic hotel in an ideal location in Old Montréal. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. Loved the spa. One complaint was the room we were given was by the elevator and the room opened right to the bed rather than down a bit of a hallway which is typical. The TV was placed in an odd location which made watching it hard. The housekeeping was terrible! They constantly came late after we’d returned to rest after all day out, forgot to replace coffee mugs and take old ones, didn’t leave new wash cloths, never once replaced lotion. For such an expensive luxury hotel, the housekeeping was really oddly sloppy. We did love the front desk people, spa and concierge. Maggie Oakes was pretty good too. We will be back but will ask for a better room.

Lovely hotel, great location. We love the rooftop terrace for drinks and dinner and the library/coffee shop area. We’ve stayed at this hotel several times, but this time was a bit less impressive than before. We were first offered a room with very tiny windows that felt claustrophobic despite high ceilings. The second room offered was much better in terms of light but overlooked a noisy back alley where bins were removed early in the morning. We still had a great time, but for the price, I have very high expectations, so 4 stars from me this time.

Had an amazing meal with even better service… the tuna tartare was very delicious and we had everything we needed thanks to our waitress Laura. I will definitely be coming back on my next visit!!

I went to the terrace, had a cocktail and some entrees, everything was delicious and the view, omg the view, since it's in Old Montreal- old port, you get a view with water surrounding you. Gorgeous place and the waitresses were really nice. They even charged my phone 💚

I had a great stay here. The coffee shop on the first floor is excellent and seems to be very popular with locals. We had a great lunch at the rooftop restaurant and ate breakfast each day at the restaurant on the first floor. Delicious! The location is excellent. Lots of quaint old Montreal right around you so you can generally walk anywhere in the area with several streets for pedestrians only. At least in August it was. I'll be back!

Our room was small. Having said that, the decor was beautiful and the designer made great use of space. Gorgeous washroom. I loved the shower. We had a small window in the room, reminding you it's an old building that has been renovated. Nice details in supplies - lush towels, nice selection in mini bar, red wine & wine glasses and wine opener awaits. Nespresso machine and cups ready to go. Bottled water. Individual Shampoos & hand cream. The hotel itself is charming. It is valet parking only. I believe that was $47/night. The location is special - perfect. The hotel offers a rooftop terrace for drinks and meals. It's also connected to a restaurant on the main floor. There is a shop that offers casual wear and some art. We didn't have time to take advantage of the spa facilities. Service was excellent. They do turn over the bed in the evenings. They replenish your room in late afternoon. Everything felt new and very clean. We loved it and would definitely return. Enjoy your stay! 🍷

Very elegant boutique hotel in the heart of the Old Port. The interior is beautiful, the rooms are clean and the service is very efficient. Drinks on the rooftop terrace are great with nice views of the waterfront. Keep in mind that due to its location it is very busy, crowded on the street level and looking for parking is pointless. They offer on-site valet parking which is worth it just to avoid the headache of old port traffic. Obviously everything you could want is a few steps away and there are dining and cafe establishments at the ground level (Maggy Oak's and cafe Olympic).

+ The location is perfect at Old Montréal, the most picturesque part of the city in our opinion. We arrived by private transfer (booked by us), and we think this is the most comfortable way. The hotel itself is also beautiful, and the view from the terrasse on the 8th floor is also very nice. The staff was very friendly, especially the gentleman that received us and spoke French and English very well. - Our room (828) was on the last, 8th floor. Same floor as the restaurant and the already mentioned terrasse. The view, therefore, is also great but the problem is that you bump all the time with people that come just for the restaurant and are not hotel clients, and it doesn't feel private or comfortable. Also, the wall behind our bed was near the bathrooms and that common area to the restaurant and it literally trembled multiple times awakening us during our sleep. It felt like an earthquake (it wasn't....). Also, the corridor to our room was always super hot and smelled bad. It felt like these rooms were an afterthought and a way to better utilise this last floor. I would much recommended staying at another floor, avoir the 8th floor and especially the room 828 if possible. Also, breakfast takes forever. We had an excursion one day and we ordered things well in advance, but our food took more than 30 minutes to arrive (granola, fruit, nothing fancy). Take that into account when planning your day.

Stayed here for the weekend of our wedding. It is one of the nicest hotels I have been to. The location is unmatched, right in the centre of old port. The staff provided complimentary champagne, fruits, and desserts because of our wedding. It was a great touch. The staff were great all around. The valet, reception, and maids were all lovely to deal with. I can’t wait to return here some day.

Chic rooftop located in the William Grey hotel! Water views with delicious cocktails. We devoured the salmon tartar and steak! With a glass of red wine. Steak was asked to be cooked medium was Deff cooked well done, salmon was good. Our waitress was also a doll. Very friendly and welcoming.

Came for a one night getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The concierge left us a very nice platter with sweets and a lovely card. The room is comfortable and has everything you need. The room is absolutely silent and cozy. The dinner at Maggie Oakes was delicious, and the William Gray cocktail was the perfect balance between tangy and spicy. Went for a walk after dinner, and the nightlife at the Old Port was exciting, with different art galleries, restaurants, bars, souvenir stores, and beautifully decorated ruelles. Will be back!

There was an issue with our booking but in the end Sabrina from reservations sorted it and the entire hotel staff was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, the hotel had a very comfortable boutique feeling. Housekeeping was always spot on and the gentleman at the front door always smiley and a great character! The location is great with plenty of good restaurants nearby (Monarque was a personal favourite). We went for a quick dinner at Maggie Oakes after arriving and were pleasantly surprised - steaks are great! And the food in general is quite good, better than the average hotel restaurant. Breakfast was also very good - the Granola bowl and healthy bowl were exceptional in my opinion. Overall it’s a very pleasant hotel to stay in and the service is also very personal so highly recommended.

This hotel is in fantastic location to old Montreal. It also has all kinds of great amenities. A spa, restaurant, cafe, local artist retail store, valet parking, roof top restaurant with an amazing view and a lovely lounge area. However for a 4 star hotel, it lacked in cleanliness and attention to details especially in our room. We booked a suite on the 4th floor. The lamp shade had tears and holes in in. The couch had stains, the throw pillows were tattered, the floors were dirty, the handles of the closet doors chipped. The beds are not comfortable and the bathroom floor didn't heat nor did the towel warmer work (it was winter). We did not mind the noise, but at night you do hear the people on the street. We ordered room service for breakfast one morning and the omelette was overcooked and the food was nothing special. The steam room in the spa needs a big deep cleaning. There was muck on the bottom of the benches in the steam room that I accidentally touched, gross. The showers in the spa also need a deep clean. The staff and service were lovely however. I had one of the best massages of my life. See Annie. Not sure we'll stay here again, for the price, we expect better attention to detail.

Relaxed and Elegant My wife and I spent two very comfortable nights at the Hotel William Gray to help celebrate my wife’s birthday. The Hotel’s location is perfect for touring Old Town Montreal, and is within relatively quick drives to other neighborhoods. We stayed in an Alcove King. The beds are super comfortable, and the rooms are spacious enough with great showers and amazing water pressure. We enjoyed dinner at its Maggie Oaks and had a great couple’s massage at its Spa William Gray. Its attached next door Cafe Olimpico is charming and serves excellent coffee and pastries. The entire staff at the hotel from the reception team, thank you Eddy, to the door men, are welcoming, friendly and professional. We highly recommend this hotel.

My family stayed back in May and they had the pleasure to meet Sabina. A super helpful concierge when it comes to place to eat/visit in Montreal and made sure that if there was anything that needed to be filled up in the room in was done. Great service, lovely staff, I highly recommend !

I had forgotten my computer charger in my room and had asked them to please call me when they find it. Not only did they not call me back, but when I went back the next day, they told me there was no way the charger was there because housekeeping had already done a "deep clean." I left the charger tucked in a corner between the desk and the wall so clearly their "deep clean" needs improvement

If I could add a 6th star, I would. I’ll preface by saying when reviewing on Kayak I only look at 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts and try to book places with amenities like gyms and pools. 21 countries and 21 states and this is my favorite hotel in the world!! Nestled in Old Montreal (preference of ours), the hotel is a gorgeous balance of city hotel and resort like amenities. Service is outstanding from Johnny the bellman and valet to the entire front desk staff and the spa manager Emily. From malfunctioning hotel keycards to calling cabs or getting local currency- the staff goes above and beyond a la Ritz Carlton or Mandarin Oriental. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side but comfortable and featuring one of the coolest showers I’ve seen (4 buttons and spigots). Pretty library area with a pool table (table closed during Covid). Cute cafe and a pretty restaurant also on the main floor. Second floor features some working space, outdoor sitting area and a spa access only small pool with a fountain. The spa on the basement floor is amazing and features the best steam room I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying. Food at the spa is surprisingly good and the thermal experience is well priced (40 pp, 50 with pool- Canadian so roughly 38 dollars). No idea how this is a 4 star as it has it all. Take it from someone who loves to experience new hotels everywhere- I won’t seek out anywhere other than William Gray.

This hotel is a relaxing getaway in the heart of old Montreal, beautiful decor. They were the only hotel in the area with an outdoor pool. I called to confirm and check many times that guests had access to their pool and could order drinks and food around the pool. When I arrived I was told that there was a $40/per person fee just to sit by the pool. That’s all it included, nothing else so just be aware. The spa needs to clarify their relationship with the hotel.

We were looking to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary during the lockdown while restaurants are closed. Luckily Hotel William Gray has the ingenuity to offer dining with Maggie Oaks Restaurant in private rooms. The experience was amazing! The hospitality, the cleanliness, the setup as if we had a dining table at a restaurant, the service, the care, the attention to every detail yet make us feel comfortable (it can be awkward with all the current measures and restrictions). The food was exceptional, we had a great time. Thank you Laurent and Fernando, a Feel-Good moment!

  • 3/5 Sam L. 2 years ago on Google
Quite simply, the staff are not well trained or professional. One does not know what the other is doing, there is poor communication within departments and between. No one knows which restaurant is open and what time. Major issues at reception, nothing was clear, this is the first experience you have when walking into a hotel and it was NOT smooth at all. The two saving graces were: Veronique at concierge: who noticed a lack of professionalism at the front desk, offered us 2 drinks tickets to be redeemed at the restaurant, and escorted us to the restaurant when the hostess at the terrace refused to let us in. and thankfully Diego at the terrace restaurant made us feel welcome, was professional and kind.

Upscale and looks great. Ducked a star for temperate controls that barely let us heat the room up enough (in early may, can't imagine winter). No ropes in the room, or a bed spread cover. Clean, modern, really well located and great staff.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the William Gray. It’s a beautiful space and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay a special one. Shout out to Veronique and Matisse on the concierge and front desk, respectively. The thermal spa was a nice treat and excellent value. We will definitely be staying here again.

BEWARE!! I recently had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel for a wedding that took place in mid/late July. I had three rooms (5 nights each) that were booked for my immediate family that had been reserved in advance by my father in law. Because of my travel plans, I had called and asked the hotel if I could ship my tuxedo along with my son's tuxedo in advance of my arrival, which I did by shipping in a box. I was put in touch with the concierge, Sabina, and she assured me that my shipment from the US would be handled with care. Upon arrival and checking in, I was given my box with no conflict or discussion about any charge. Two days after checking in, I was called down to the front desk and informed that the postal service charged the hotel $600 Canadian dollars for the shipment? I explained to Sabina that there would be no way that I would authorize this expense and told her she should have rejected the shipment. At that point she confirmed with me that I would not be charged. Long story short, the hotel has charged me anyway. Clearly there was an error of some kind with Customs/Shipment, and the easy solution for the hotel would have been to reject the package. The same situation happened to my daughter, the hotel rejected her's, and her box went to the postal center right down the street. We were given direction from the hotel on where her box went, went to the postal center, and paid a nominal fee ($40) for her dresses. I am beyond appalled that such a "high class" 4 Star hotel in downtown Montreal would "hang" that unauthorized expense upon me, especially because this is something I would never pay for or accept. I am in the process of disputing this unauthorized expense with my credit card company. I would advise all that plan on staying at this hotel to beware of your charges from this hotel!

Was in Montreal for a wedding so decided to treat ourselves (myself & my wife), truthfully I expected a lot more from this hotel. Previously we stayed at the four seasons which I highly recommend! William Gray was good but not great especially for how much it cost. We found they didn’t clean the rooms even when requested, room service was very slow and forgot items such as cutlery. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a friend.

My husband and I love this hotel! We got married at the William Gray 1 year ago; we felt so well taken care of. The team was extremely professional, and helped us plan the wedding of our dreams (in a pandemic, no less). The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the aesthetic/ roof top views are unique and made for really nice photos. We wish we could do it all again :)

Phenomenal hotel. Very modern, new, and clean. The old port is where you want to stay and this is right on the Main Street. Amazing coffee shop in the hotel. My wife is from Montreal and we visit frequently. We’ve stayed at almost every four and five star hotel here, and this will be our choice moving forward. Also, make sure to check out The Coldroom for craft cocktails next door. One of the best bars in old port unless you’re looking for a pub.

I organized a photoshoot at the hotel for my company and had a great experience with the whole team. I can here specifically for the thermal circuit and massage. The staff were professional and friendly even though there was a time mixup on my groups end. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us as much as possible. This was my first time doing the thermal circuit and I am now hooked. I would recommend this experience at William Gray even if you have done something like this before. You will get 5 star treatment with a smile.

This is a nice hotel - in a good location - but ultimately, I think a good nights sleep is the essential element that must be present at any hotel, and sadly here, we did not have a good night. We booked a "Deluxe" room - which was admittedly a good size and nicely fitted out. However, the room backed onto what I assume was some sort of back alley or loading bay - as the windows in the room were completely frosted - so there was no view outside - this is not necessarily what I would expect from a Deluxe room, but not the end of the world. But what was unforgivable was the endless noise all night - I assume maybe from neighbouring businesses - but up until around nearly 1AM we were kept awake by bottles being emptied into the trash cans, this was constant, every 5-10 minutes dozens of bottles being emptied out and breaking - Couldn't understand where they were all coming from! But I was more surprised to be woken at 6AM with this starting again - Why they haven't negotiated some sort of quiet hours with local businesses - or indeed why the City hasn't legislated this in a tourist area with hotels is beyond me... But this ruined the whole stay. We expected better for the near $700/night cost here.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with great service and food. Rooftop is amazing and the restaurant very good. Eddy was an exceptional representative for the hotel and helped us tremendously. Thanks again Eddy, and will definitely be staying there again.

I recently stayed at Hôtel William Gray and I have to say I was blown away by the experience. The hotel is located in the heart of Montreal's Old Port, and the location couldn't be more perfect. Everything you could want to see is just a short walk away. The rooms at Hôtel William Gray are spacious, elegant and comfortable. I loved the modern decor and the fact that they have kept the building's historic charm. The amenities in the room were fantastic - from the comfortable bed to the luxurious linens and the Nespresso machine, they have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They went out of their way to accommodate any requests I had, and provided some great recommendations on restaurants and things to do in the area. The hotel also has a great rooftop bar with stunning views of the city.

Disappointing experience. We were very much looking forward to our Easter weekend trip to the William Gray. We booked 3 nights but decided to check out after just 2 nights as we couldn’t sleep in the hotel at all. Beds uncomfortable, pillows feel so old and all lumpy with cushioning, climate control is so loud you cannot sleep with it on. Upon checking out we were so upset to find damage to our brand new car that we left in their valet. We have just got this car and it has two chips to the paint in the bumper where they have obviously hit something in their tight underground parking lot, and didn’t even have the decency to tell us. Of course, I am sure you will take no responsibility for this as the valet ticket says. You should be more careful with peoples vehicles. Wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel to anyone. We now have probably a $1,000 repair bill! On top of the $1,000 we paid to stay here, and $800 we spent in their spa!

This hotel is incredible. I have nothing bad to say about it. I'd recommend staying here in a heartbeat. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I stayed in the William Gray King room (in the old part of the hotel), and my room was incredibly lovely, cosy, and well appointed. The best part was how quiet it was. I was so comfortable that I slept in to check out time at noon. I honestly didn't want to leave this hotel because everything about it is perfect. I forgot to mention that there's a café olimpico here! the coffee is to die for.

Absolutely stunning place a lovely mixture of modern exposed columns and beams and heritage bricks. Well appointed rooms in a great location. Great and friendly staff, Eddy was magnificent. The concierge were also helpful in booking restaurants and giving bar recommendations.

Staff and location are great. However, the bed I slept in was quite soft and lumpy - it definitely needed to be replaced. The Wifi was also quite slow at times. I've stayed at a number of other hotels in Old Montreal and prefer Saint Sulpice or Hotel Place D'armes

Beautiful hotel. The deluxe room was super clean and the balcony had a nice view on the old port. We were there for our wedding anniversary and the staff put in some nice extra touches to make us feel welcome and to congratulate us. Excellent location. Although the streets around the hotel can get noisy in the evening none of the street noises came through when the balcony door was closed and it was very quiet and relaxing in the room. Overall a great stay!

Loved the experience. Hotel is very nice and boutique. And the service was amazing! Eddy at front desk was very accommodating and went the extra mile to serve us. I would come back!
