The manager, Wisler is an amazing person and an angel! He is now a celebrity in our friend group and family and the story will be passed down through generations. His hotel is amazing From the lobby to the rooms! He gave us free breakfast and was so kind! We will be back! Highly recommend you stay here!

We stayed here 4 nights and it was hands down the worst hotel (it’s a motel level) experience we’ve ever had. The first night the AC was broken. There Is no breakfast or place to get water refill. No blow dryer. The curtains leave gaps in the window so you get light coming in every morning. The gym is closed. The pop vending machine ate our money twice and we were told by front desk “we’ll be reimbursed when we check out”. We had a do not disturb sign on our door and had house keeping not only knock but come in when we didn’t answer.. twice. This was hands down the most ghetto hotel stay ever and it NOT worth anything more than $80 a night. The quality in next door not only has breakfast, water refill, quality washrooms and a gym but actually feels like a hotel. The parking here is ridiculously over priced, just park 50m away at the public garage for $12 a day. In conclusion, please look elsewhere.

this hotel is a waste of money, not only did i find cockroaches in my room, when i informed the hotel they simply did nothing. I talked to them several times over my stay, and when they said there manager would talk to me i never heard anything back. I have pictures and everything of the bugs and they still could care less. i don’t know if it’s because i’m a student that they don’t respect me but regardless it was a grungy stay. So i urge you to take my advice and stay anywhere’s else for a better experience. the three star rating is beyond exaggerated.

This hotel is in good location which is close to everything and has nice room service. Toilet is old and water keeps leaking. Breakfast is below average and does not have variety. Staff members are polite and helpful. Overall experience was very good.

I was worried about booking here because of all the bad reviews but I have to say it was definitely not as bad as some people are making it out to be. Room was very clean, no bedbugs, clean beds, clean bathroom. Room did not smell bad at all, no stench. Beautiful and elegant lobby. Staff was kind and patient. I got my 250$ damage deposit back (I paid by credit card, I know some people who complained about not getting it back that paid with debit - I was not given the option to pay with debit so I think they realised it was an issue). The only problem I encountered with the hotel was that we were not given working cards to open our room's door. We tried many times, went back down, they tried to fix it by remagnetizing the cards. We went back up, cards still didnt work, went back down, one of the employees came to check and opened the door with the master key. We were told that it would be fixed the next day but it was not the case - so we had to keep asking for staff to open the door for us. That was my only complaint.

This hotel is absolutely a waste of money and time. I've been in the checking line for like 4 hours, and after that, they gave us a dirty room without any cleaning or something, and the room smells so bad, and they really were my whole day, and I couldn't even use my day. I like this hotel -100, but google doesn't let me do it.

This is why it's better to experience the places yourself. I read all the reviews and it didn't give this place a good chance. We booked anyways. Check in. Fast and courteous. I think many vlient may be shocked about the $250 deposit. Room we got. Nice, clean. What we expected and more. Location is sooooo close to downtown. Bonus Breakfast.........better than all big hotels we stayed at. The food was soooooo good. Check out. A breeze. Love this place. Will stay here everytime we visit Montreal.

Starting with the breakfast, which we paid for and was promised, upon check in we were told there was no breakfast at all! Second, the ice machine were broken and when asked for it I was responded in the most rude manner. After that, i asked for some extra green tea and after waiting for 20 mins, they bought me black tea! I said its not what I wanted and they said sorry and went inside. The front desk was so unresponsive. Specially the morning girl Bianca, she had no clue how to be a front desk agent. She kept saying ‘she can’t help because manager isn’t here’. The room had flies and wasps, the beds made creaking noises, the bed room door for 336 won’t lock. There was no one at the property that was helpful. Worst stay ever!!! Would not recommend to ANYONE!

40$ for self parking. Terrible parking lote for larger vehicles. The price is high for what they offer. No fridge. It needs an upgrade. Elevator was hard to get at some times during the day. Old rooms, dirty, nice makeup to pretend it’s something else. Definitely regret spending more than $200 a night to stay at this thing. After the second night we packed up and we went to a hotel.

The hotel and staff was wonderful. Also, we arrive late at night. And everything was ready for us. We had breakfast the next morning and was able to sit and enjoy the hotel before we left. Positively wonderful !.

Lelux Hotel offers a morning buffet breakfast, a convenient perk to kickstart your day. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained. However, their service fell short as they didn't assist with luggage to the room. Nevertheless, it's a decent option for those seeking a comfortable stay with breakfast included.

The staff's attitude and lack of concern for customer satisfaction were appalling. When I attempted to address my concerns with the front desk, they were dismissive and unhelpful. It was clear that their primary objective was to maximize profits at the expense of guest comfort and satisfaction. I strongly advise potential guests to avoid this awful place at all costs. It fails to deliver even the most basic standards of quality and honesty. The rooms are in dire need of renovation and thorough cleaning, while the deceptive practices employed by the management tarnish the reputation of this establishment. Save your money and look elsewhere for a hotel that values its customers and provides a pleasant and honest experience.

Spent 5 days at this hotel, the first room we got had the Washroom light flickering, and the metals from the heating pipes were kn the floor. Reported it right away to the front desk, and called multiple times to speak to the manager the manager never contacted or called back. Very poor service and no consideration for their clients. I requested to speak again with the manager he was not there again! We were switched yet to a different room where the AC/heat does not work and had to wait to be transfered to yet another room....all the rooms turned out to be full and we were given blankets to deal with the AC problem. My plans were missed up and time was wasted switching between rooms. They promised to fix the room, when we came back to the hotel in the evening, the problem is still there! Very badly maintained hotel, they don't care about their clients, and they would let you walk away all upset and wouldn't do anything about it.

A little get away from Toronto with the kids! This hotel made it remarkable! Rooms are spacious and comfortable, me and the kids we had a 2 queen bed size! $25 for American breakfast was worth it during our stay! We didn’t want to go out for breakfast elsewhere. When we checked in they had a nice Limousine waiting for a bride to come out!

This was the worst hotel stay we've ever had in our lives (we typically stay in 3-stars). Beware that you cannot check-in before 4pm and you'll likely wait in the line for 2+ hours with your luggages. They only had one staff checking people in and the line went outside the hotel for multiple days we stayed there. A group in front of me who had a wedding to go to had to get ready in the hotel bathroom because of the line. On our second day, our key cards stopped working all of a sudden. We couldn't get it fixed due to the insane check-in line. The staff who "fixed" it only asked for our room number and issued new cards without any type of security check, so we could literally be anyone gaining access to the room. Not to mention, our key cards stopped working again after using it just once. At no point, the hotel staff acknowledged and offered an apology for any of this. Also, their gym is still closed due to COVID.. Spend a little bit more and stay somewhere decent.

First let me start with first receptionist (arab i think morrocan guy ) he was verybusy.lots of customers . Poor customer service. When we asked for room we reserved he kept saying he have not charged any more he hinted to go somewhere else. After waiting for 30 mins he finally went to check and came back and gave room. Some one complained that AC is not working on entire hotel .he said some one coming at 11 to fix it. He told same story to us. So we checked in with kids. Receptionist false promised customers. Room were good size and beds are good. Windows were old not cleaned. Bath room toilet sink was not cleaned. Biggest issue was AC not working all night . We slept with out ac in hot summer. Opened window little air coming from outside but not enough and lots of sounds from vehicles. So in the morning there was another receptionist (black kid ) he was nice ,he understood its their fault but not letting customers that AC is not working and refunded entire money . Third receptionist after he left (looked like indian orgin brown guy) not that nice talking customers. Serious customers service problems. Make sure everything works fine before u checking. No parking available but Enterprise paid parking and street parking available.

If google would allow negative review option, that would have been the first choice. There is nothing to be liked in this hotel except that the hotel was centrally located. The hotel lacked some basic amenities like complimentary bottled drinking water(I was told to take tap water from bathroom which was so unhygienic) shower cap, toothpaste, safety box etc. At the time of booking, we were told that there was complimentary breakfast but we were only provided with croissant and that too upon asking for it. Also, we had booked for a king size bed but we were provided with two twin beds joined together and that too the mattress was broken from beneath. Overall strictly *NOT* recommended.

We booked a room with 2 queen beds but we ended up getting one with a sofa and a bed and no Fridge. The air conditioning in the original room was broken and I believe that was the case for all the rooms on our floor because even the corredor was super warm (80c). If you read other reviews you will see that other people had the same problem. When we got to the new room the sofa was ready. This tells me that they knew it would be needed. I would not recommend this hotel at all!

So don’t stay here. There were stains on the walls, the bathroom door didn’t close, you have to pay for parking (which can be fine, but it’s 25$ and it doesn’t say it on the website). There was no food options for the morning, the staff is less than helpful, I called about the bathroom door, they said they would call me back, an hour went by, so I called them. Once they just didn’t answer, the other time they hung up, so I went down to just be told “sorry the maintenance guy isn’t here until tomorrow morning.” I’m pretty sure I left my drivers license in the bathroom, but no one answers the phone when you call. We waited an hour to get checked in, with only about 5 groups in front of us, and one of the ladies had to find somewhere else to stay because her room wasn’t clean. So other than the area, it’s definitely not worth the 450$ for the room. Especially when it’s gross inside.

Absolutely terrible. I did not sleep all night due to parties next door. 4am called front desk she would not resolve the issue at all. She called them saying please be quite. Lasted two minutes. Horrible customer service. Since I couldn’t reply to the HOTELD REPLY, I did call the manager, she kept asking me what room it is, it was 4am you think I wanted to come out to see what room it is, no however I did and I heard her call them. But guess what nothing changed. So your manager did nothing as well.

My boyfriend and I were charged 75$ for a cleaning fee because we spilt the smallest amount of food (Chocolate) on the sheets and the sheets when we got there were gross and obviously not washed or not washed well enough as they were dirty and had some red stuff on it? The lobby may look very nice but the staff and the cleanliness of the room was so not ok in my opinion. When we asked if the sheets are not getting washed anyways they wouldn’t answer whether they wash the sheets or not between two guest stays. The parking lot is very very small and they charge 40$ per night for parking.

Incredibly dirty room (stains in bedding and desk chair, floor has not been vacuumed, shower curtain full of mildew), Air Conditioning stopped functioning, and Wifi did not work. These are among the most problematic issues, but there were endless others. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. ANY ISSUES THAT ARISE WILL NOT GET RESOLVED.

The most useless and worthless hotel. No one picks up the call at intercom. Parking is the worst. $40+tax. And not friendly at all. No plates. Plastic glasses. They have no idea what is happening around in the hotel. Staff is rude and would not recommend at all. Cheaper Airbnb’s are 20X better than this. Money wasted!

Lelux is a motel, but a good enough one for that. The good: the staff were very to-the-point with help and directions, the halls and elevator were always clean, the lobby is pretty, and the breakfast smelled good. The not as good: the room had a broken bathroom vanity, chipped tub, chipped sink, warped desktop where the laminate had mostly bubbled off the wood, the ceiling was peeling from the top of the walls, the window opened but with no sort of mechanism connected, so I had to reach out over the edge of the building to close it the one time it was opened wide. The motel vibes were strong, but that's ok we were traveling! I would have called this a 4 star motel, however the 2 biggest red flag were 1) that the staff did NOT respect the "do not disturb" sign, coming into the room when I stepped out for breakfast and left my sign on the door. Came back to find the room had been cleaned, towels changed, beds made, and the DND sign changed to the inside of the door, when I was under the impression that a do not disturb sign means I am requesting they specifically not do that. I don't want people seeing the things I leave out, or having my lingerie and other personal belongings looked at. I take the sign down when I have packed my intimate items away into a suit case so you do not have to deal with them, and I get to keep my privacy. And 2) being woken up by management banging and yelling at the room next door "check out is 11am! Leave, or I am calling the police! No exceptions, out now. Get out." At 11:05am was a very rude wakeup. I did enquire at the front desk and found out they charge $25/hr for late checkouts though, so at least I can hope they got their money from those people. Overall, 2/5 stars. I would return if it was posted for $100/night or less, but only because I didn't see any bugs. I would definitely suggest staying at a Super 8 instead.

Terrible service. They have a totally inflexible policy of check in at 4:00, to the point of getting in an argument about it with a big family with children at 3:45 PM. In the end, they had their lobby full of people at 4:00, unnecessarily creating a line and conflict, as more people arrived and unknowingly jumped the line, making everyone else more annoyed. The front desk lady seemed completely uncaring, not empathetic or friendly and the gentlemen were more interested in talking to each other than in taking care of the customers. Terrible experience, and for absolutely no reason.

The absolute worst hotel I've ever been to. We checked in, got into the room and walked right back out to find another hotel for the night. We asked for a refund since we weren't staying but the front desk agent refused. Reading other reviews, I can see that this experience is a common one and all I can say is that they are not exaggerated. The rooms are dirty, old, dark, dingy and falling apart. The sheets have holes and the beds look like they were made up by a child. The TV in the rooms is a tiny (like 13-inch?!) "flat screen" that I am pretty sure was the first flat screen ever invented because it looks more like a computer monitor. The curtains were falling off the rod and the paint was peeling from the walls. This, my friends, is where dreams come to die.

This place is the most disgusting “hotel” I’ve ever been. It was so disgusting I decided to lose my money and go elsewhere, as they refused to give me a refund. As soon as we arrived everything seemed dirty, there were graffiti’s inside the elevator! (And no the artistically nice ones, but the cheap marker ones). But the worst part was when we arrived to our room… it smelled like Febreeze trying to cover heavy cigarette smoke and there was still coffee brewed on the coffee machine. Walls scratched, stained carpet… AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!! Please save yourself money and time and go anywhere else, for what they’re asking you can find much better options. We stayed in that room no more than 10 minutes until we realize it was not safe for us or our kid to stay there. I spoke with the heavily underdressed front desk manager and even the hotel manager and it was not possible to make them understand how bad the situation was, so they refused to refund me. On top of all this there flys on the lobby, spinets, the parking roof was pretty much falling apart, the windows were foggy... Just to mention a few things. Oh! And lots of stairs everywhere, making it inaccessible for wheelchairs or strollers. Lost my money, had to pay to stay elsewhere and hated every second at that place. We ended up staying at the courtyard by Marriott for $20 more per night

Really great hotel considering the price. The rooms were clean and it checked all the boxes. The area is really cute and has lots of food places nearby. Close to the metro and i enjoyed walking to downtown from here. For the price it is worth it!

Do you think this is acceptable? On the place where once there was a mat, now it’s dirt. I am so sad this was our choice. Even no door for the wardrobe. Some dirty curtain instead. And they charge in advance the deposit 3x larger than a room price.

We checked in yesterday. I found the rooms really tidy and clean. Everything was put well together. The area was pretty nice as well. Tejinder helped us alot in the process of checking in and guiding us through the hotel and surroundings. Over all everything was great :)

Worst experience ever. Washroom light was flickering, causing everyone to get headaches, and couldn't use the washroom because of that. The metal covers from the heating pipes were on the floor. No matter how many times you complain, they have very little to offer. They had us move to a different "upgraded" room, and it turned out the AC was broken and the room is ice cold, the room aas smaller than the originalroom we were in. We called and complained, and they said they have maintenance on site to fix the AC, came back in the evening, and the problem is still there. They don't care about your satisfaction with their service. They will let you walk away upset and won't offer a better deal for all the chaos we went through. Very badly maintained hotel. Ruined my trip.

Great time! They don't clean your bedsheets if you have items on your bed for liability reasons, I wish I knew that the first night. Otherwise awesome. Super close to Berri station and great local food available. Very nice lobby too!!

The service was very good. The person in the front " Tejinder " was able to help a lot. The staff was great. The receptionist were very helpful and answered all our questions. The room service was clean and good. Overall Its a 9/10 , I would recommend this to others.

Nice hotel, with a great view. The room was pretty clean. The front desk staff is super nice especially Tejinder, he was extremely helpful with letting us know what events were happening and what places we could visit. He also made sure everything was going well through out the day!

At the reception you are greeted with a smile and interest. The guy checked us in was Tejinder . They are trying to find a solution to your problem. The location of the hotel is considered central. Two minute walk to the metro stop. The cleanliness of the rooms is average. Garbage is taken daily. Will be here for next stay. Recommend 100%

Great location, nice lobby, terrible hotel. At first glance, the hotel looks nice however once we got into our room we were very disappointed. The wall paper all along the walls were peeling and the walls were dirty. The bathroom and beds were clean. We got a room that was suppose to have two queens however the beds are actually full size/double. The mattress were awful, very hard and sagging in the middle. Our rooms did not get cleaned for the whole stay (4nights). Parking is also not very user friendly. There are support beams everywhere, making parking practically impossible in the spots if you have a larger vehicle. Everyday at 4 o’clock, our rooms keys would get deactivated. We would have to wait in line atleast 30-45min each day during check in rush hour to get back into our rooms. The staff was always nice but very unimpressed by this. Would not stay here again.

  • 2/5 ivy R. 1 year ago on Google
We booked double queen bed room during our trip to Montreal last week. We stayed for 2 nights. The room doesn’t have basic amenities like microwave and fridge which most of the hotels have. The rooms look like a motel, not a hotel. Only plus point was it was close to most of the attractions in Montreal. Parking was 25$/day and they have very limited parking. If you are late in check-in, you don’t get to park your car. The parking lot is very congested, difficult to reverse car if you are not in a good parking space.

  • 2/5 Yuval B. 1 year ago on Google
Just don't. Avoid. Please read all the other reviews. Rooms are in bad condition, beds are not comfortable, shower is ok at best. Some of the rooms are not accessible for wheelchair or baby strollers (or rolling luggage for that matter). Location is not bad, next to a Metro station.

  • 1/5 Karli D. 1 year ago on Google
WARNING BED BUGS!!!! We stayed in room 312 and there were so many issues but biggest one being BED BUGS! I wish I was kidding but I took a photo to identify the bug found crawling on my pillow and it was indeed a bed bug, later my friend was bit by a second one as well. When we told the front desk and asked for a refund the receptionist gave us a rude smirk and told us the manager wasn’t here so nothing could be done. They didn’t apologize once at all or even acknowledge how serious bed bugs are. Among that the shower curtain had werid stains, half the lamps, the fridge, and phone were unplugged when we got there, TV is halfway broken. Seriously disgusting this place needs to be shut down.

The lobby looks nice, then you go up a few steps to the room despite the elevator. Now one is in the room and sees it. The room looks old. The bathroom is rusting, not a pretty sight. The continental breakfast is not good.

It's a great location which is close to mostly everything and is walkable. Parking are expensive and hard to exit. Service is slow it takes about 15-30 mins to check every single client. They take your payment and take another $250 deposit for damages. Rooms are small, washrooms only have one sink. No amenities. They won't give wifi password unless you ask and the line up for check ins are all the way outside the front door as there's only one old man taking check ins. Oh well! Better than no where else to stay I guess.

Hello this “hotel” has horrible service with the exception of the front host in the day which is a Latina young woman. I had the experience of booking a night on the 1st of January. I did not expect such chaos while I was there, there was drug addicts staying in the entrance which scared my partner so she had to leave. During the night the host at front desk left his personal friend sleep on the couch in the entrance. Second of all they had kept my deposit of 250$ accusing me of smoking in the room which I definitely did not. Both employees argued saying it smells of smoke. Front desk saw me go outside every time to smoke and the cameras can speak for them self. As well as a couple that was checking out before me was left with no questions. They’re is plenty of weird activities going on I definitely don’t recommend it if you want to stay safe. Worst place to stay at. As well as when you try to contact managers or owners which I was told will be there at 9am. I got hung up on twice in a row.

Parking is 40$ a night. Surprise 250$ damage deposit that they want in cash when we got there. Currently sitting in the lobby with lots of other people while they go check our rooms for the deposit and expecting everyone to wait upwards of a half hour. Few things in the hotel are so old they look like they’re from the Cold War. Rooms weren’t as nice as in pictures. Location worked decently for our trip.
