Lelux
is
a
motel,
but
a
good
enough
one
for
that.
The
good:
the
staff
were
very
to-the-point
with
help
and
directions,
the
halls
and
elevator
were
always
clean,
the
lobby
is
pretty,
and
the
breakfast
smelled
good.
The
not
as
good:
the
room
had
a
broken
bathroom
vanity,
chipped
tub,
chipped
sink,
warped
desktop
where
the
laminate
had
mostly
bubbled
off
the
wood,
the
ceiling
was
peeling
from
the
top
of
the
walls,
the
window
opened
but
with
no
sort
of
mechanism
connected,
so
I
had
to
reach
out
over
the
edge
of
the
building
to
close
it
the
one
time
it
was
opened
wide.
The
motel
vibes
were
strong,
but
that's
ok
we
were
traveling!
I
would
have
called
this
a
4
star
motel,
however
the
2
biggest
red
flag
were
1)
that
the
staff
did
NOT
respect
the
"do
not
disturb"
sign,
coming
into
the
room
when
I
stepped
out
for
breakfast
and
left
my
sign
on
the
door.
Came
back
to
find
the
room
had
been
cleaned,
towels
changed,
beds
made,
and
the
DND
sign
changed
to
the
inside
of
the
door,
when
I
was
under
the
impression
that
a
do
not
disturb
sign
means
I
am
requesting
they
specifically
not
do
that.
I
don't
want
people
seeing
the
things
I
leave
out,
or
having
my
lingerie
and
other
personal
belongings
looked
at.
I
take
the
sign
down
when
I
have
packed
my
intimate
items
away
into
a
suit
case
so
you
do
not
have
to
deal
with
them,
and
I
get
to
keep
my
privacy.
And
2)
being
woken
up
by
management
banging
and
yelling
at
the
room
next
door
"check
out
is
11am!
Leave,
or
I
am
calling
the
police!
No
exceptions,
out
now.
Get
out."
At
11:05am
was
a
very
rude
wakeup.
I
did
enquire
at
the
front
desk
and
found
out
they
charge
$25/hr
for
late
checkouts
though,
so
at
least
I
can
hope
they
got
their
money
from
those
people.
Overall,
2/5
stars.
I
would
return
if
it
was
posted
for
$100/night
or
less,
but
only
because
I
didn't
see
any
bugs.
I
would
definitely
suggest
staying
at
a
Super
8
instead.
