It is very important to know that this hotel offers hourly room rentals and although it might serve its purpose in that department (we had no idea until we got there and the front desk person told us), however if you are planning to stay there overnight, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. It's not clean and it stinks with cigarette smell, the smell lingered in our clothing and anything that was in the room, location is right by the subway which is the only good thing about it. the place is very outdated. It looked and smelled terrible! Absolutely not recommended.

It’s a basic hotel. It's small and a little claustrophobic. It's in a super sketchy neighborhood, random screaming in the middle of the night, weird really loud squeaking coming from God know what or where. It was super dark in the room, despite turning the room light on, but it was extremely dim. I wanted to turn the lamps on and one turned on but the other one didn't and I discovered it was because one of the outlets doesn't work. No microwave or anything of the sort, except there's a mini fridge. But it doesn't look anything like a mini fridge and also, by " mini fridge " I mean super mini. Tiny. You could fit 3 cans of pop in there and that's basically that. On the plus side, while it's hot as hell in there, some have A/C's so that's a plus. As for the service and the receptionist, I can't really complain. The lady was nice, and explained everything you need to know, gave me the key and sent us on our way. They don't bother you at all during your stay. You can come and go as you please. One thing I did like is there's security, you have to be buzzed in, and you aren't going past the receptionists unless you have a room, they also don't allow more than two people or so in one room, and they don't allow visitors past 11pm. So, I mean, it isn't terrible. It isn't great. It's okay. I needed to stay somewhere because my apartment flooded during the heavy rain yesterday (September 13th) so I wasn't looking for anything luxurious. Just the fact that it was a room that was pretty clean meaning I had a roof over my head and I wasn't homeless was more than good enough and definitely something worth appreciating. I'm not mentioning the " downsides " to critisize, I'm just saying what the facts were for my personal experience. My room may have been very dim and an outlet didn't work, that doesn't mean that every room is dim or has a faulty outlet.

Location was a bit sketchy. Even though the sheets and towels were clean, everything else wasn’t. Paint was coming off from the walls, dirt on the floor and a strong smell of cigaret in the room. You pay for what you get.

It's okay..... Mattress could be a bit more comfortable. If you have a bad back you may be on trouble . I'm a guy who could sleep anywhere so minor issues with the room was not a problem. 480 for three days was the attraction for me Checked in on a Friday - the front desk clerk was super friendly.

One of my favorite places to visit is Montreal. Always good for exploring and never a dull moment. This hotel is my home away from home.

Would give this zero stars if I could, rooms are very dated it’s very loud. It also stunk like cigarettes, the smell gives you a headache. Trust me pay the extra money and get a nicer hotel!

This place is horrid for the pricing, a tourist trap to gouge you. 150 a night for a room that is the size of a small child's play room. The water in the room (which I presume tap out into a corked bottle tasted like backwash!), The TV was small 20-30 inch and had a visible white line on the screen so made using it inconveniencing as well as no TV guide to you have go through ever channel (which is basic cable?? With no hotel movie rental options.) I would be curious to what a blacklight would reveal. The service is a one as there was none and they have the audacity to put an envelope in the room for a tip. Do not stay here, Hotel pricing for a motel or cheap bnb appearance.

we were extremely disappointed! The room doesn’t look like the pictures at all. As soon as we arrived we felt an unpleasant smell in the room and there was a lot of dust and hair on the pillows and curtains. I sent them a message but I was ignored. The balcony door is difficult to open and when we step on it gives the impression that it will fall. Towels and sheets are of poor quality and the bed is uncomfortable.

I was waiting for the worst situation when read comments. But not everything is so bad. In my room there was only a strong loud cold water faucet. I didn’t watch tv, the fridge working, didn’t see insects. Outside was silently.

It was very nice. The hosts are nice and quite humane. Bad reviews online shouldn't always be taken seriously. Go see for yourself

Good service but old and outdated gives a sketchy feel and the neighborhood also feels sketchy but it's near downtown

Good location. Renovations needed but the basics are provided. 24/7 manned security to let you in after buzzing the front door. No keys provided.

It's at a vantage point in Montreal, for people who are stranded in town, it could be a secured place to pass the night.

Everyone who works there claims to be the manager, and the real manager is never ever at the Hotel. There is a fake manager (grey hair lady) who does anything she can possible to not have to call the real manager. The real manager is a young guy who looks like a student. He has glasses and black hair. NEVER EVER give your credit card information to this property. I learned that the hard way.

The owner of the “hotel” is incredibly rude, absolutely the worst service I’ve even seen. When it fits her needs it’s called a hotel ( we booked on air bnb) because she wants to give none of the services of a hotel like fresh toiletries or towels, and none of the personal touches of an Airbnb like someone personable and understanding. The only goal is to price gouge guests and give nothing in return. NEVER EVER STAY HERE. The worst stay I’ve had by far. I feel bad for her employee who was very sweet but has to endure this insufferable miserable woman daily.
