Where do I start? When you're paying over $80 per night to stay at a hotel there some basic things you expect, sadly this place hasn't gotten that memo. Stayed two nights and the room wasn't refreshed with clean towels or anything. The condition of the room is dreadful and cleanliness is definitely not their forte. Used underwear and socks under the bed (see pictures) The location is great since you can walk to the Old Port and can leave your vehicle here. Sadly, the hotel attendant wants your keys so that they can move your vehicle. No thanks. There isn't an elevator, the narrow stairs and hallways are cumbersome and the walls are thin so you can listen to what happens in the neighbouring rooms. The shower stall and washroom need to be renovated and CLEANED! It has been awhile since I've been in such a dirty and unkempt hotel washroom. I really don't think the name of this establishment should be Casa Bella since there really isn't anything Bella about it.

With location and free parking- it’s a great spot. Like a very normal 2 star hotel. No breakfast. We paid 66$ usd for a room for a night and it had attached private washroom and hot water. It is off season right now. The front desk was quick and efficient. Simple. Cozy. Well situated. 4 stars because of bed comfort was a bit less.

!!!Don’t reserve a room here!!! The room was filthy and small, we could barely move in the room. The walls were thin and we could hear people in their room and common areas. The building reminded me of all the creepy houses in horror movies combined. There were narrow staircases leading to confusing paths. I would not recommend staying in this place. I think the furniture came straight out of the street.

The pictures and ratings on their website are very misleading. The place is extremely dirty, we can't stand with the smell and the appearance of the place not pleasant at all. The parking is not safe. It is in the alley between multiple apartment buildings The worst hotel I've ever been in my life PLEASE, DO NEVER BOOK AT THIS PLACE. I didn’t even sleep there. I came and left right away. It was very dirty and unsafe. I’m doing what ever I can to get a refund! They said there were none because they new no one would stay and they would have no other way to make money! They are a scam!!!! And not to mention he took our health card as a deposit because we didn’t have cash?? What is that

Great location, shared bathroom for all rooms with your own sink in your room, could definitely use some renovations but not as horrible as some of the reviews lead you to believe. Clean bed sheets and no bugs, free parking in the back of the building. The girls working the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful.

Rooms are old fashioned, with more space than regular hotels. I would recommend.

Good location for getting around Montreal as a tourist - easy walkability and access to the metro. Check in and out was smooth. Parking was included and the price per night was perfect. There is no elevator, so do not book if you have mobility issues and cannot climb stairs. Shower was a bit small, but there was plenty of hot water. Room wasn't immaculate, but was clean enough for what we needed. Sheets, floors and appliances were clean. No evidence of any pests, which is always top on my list for room checks. On the nights we stayed, they were fully booked. Despite that, the only time we heard anyone else in the hotel was at checkout time (11-ish in the morning). We will likely stay here again when we visit Montreal.

Don't listen to the bad reviews. I don't know what they are talking about. Place is very good , had a nice one week stay there without any issues.

Very dirty rooms, smell of urine on the stairs. Unacceptable! Not recommended

Great location, but that's about it. Small and out dated rooms. Not much in ways of sound isolation either.

Lock doesn’t work. Because of that felt unsafe. Parking is free which is a bonus but you must leave your keys at the front so you can’t use your car during the day.

We decided not to stay even we cannot refund our payment, it was not what we expected. The pictures and ratings on their website are very misleading. The place is extremely dirty, we can't stand with the smell and the appearance of the place not pleasant at all. The parking is not safe. It is in the alley between multiple apartment buildings. Lesson... don't pay in advance.

The room could be more clean but for the proce I won't really complain. Very close to Place des Arts and 15mn walking from Train Station, less than 10mn to Eaton Center. You have a Jean Coutu, Couche-tard just near (opposite sidewalk) and a A&W at the corner to get a good breakfast

Very small, cramped and smelled weird. Reception spoke bad English. The only good thing about this experience was that the receptionist was accommodating.

Was a great experience there. Used it as a quick place to crash after a night out for dinner and drinks. The bed was comfy and that's all we really needed! But the staff were very friendly as an added bonus! I would stay here again!

Not bad for the money. Clean bed and shower but very basic and dated. Perfect for people with a light budget.

The worst hotel I've ever been in my life. Very dirty and an unpleasant stay with all amenities in a disarray.. I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Not hotel but a motel.

Place was definitely a sanctuary for our crazy trip. Smelt a bit like weed tho, not sure about that. The lady at the front was sweet and accommodating.

Very clean room and hotel. Washroom very clean. Staff very friendly. Parking very limited to none. Location very good. Right on Sherbrooke. I would book here again if I were to visit Montreal again.

Great service - the woman at the front was very helpful and kind. Clean room, about what you’d expect for the price. Excellent location for night life. Would stay again!

The location and front staff were great but the place is a dump. Tiny room where the sink didn't work. Shared toilet and shower rooms which were filthy. Mold everywhere and the light in the shower room didn't work so was constantly cutting in and out. While it is cheaper than traditional hotels it is still not good value.

Very very very bad hotel, the service was very bad!!! Receptionist from Morocco was aggressive. Be careful of the bedbugs at this place. You can find a better place for a little bit more money! Would NEVER EVER EVER go there again!

Is it the Queen E? Nope but I can't complain. Parking included and close to where I needed to be. The room was clean. The cable wasn't the greatest but it was fine with me. I'll be back in a week or two.

This hotel was amazing, the worker at the front desk, Rashid, was so friendly and helpful, he always made sure we were taken care of, the room was very clean, the beds were comfy and the location is beautiful

Room was clean. Rashid, at the front desk, was very courteous and helpful. He helped us with parking and kind enough to let us use the back entrance to bring in our bags. Incredible location!

A wonderful hotel in a very central part of Montreal. Pretty much all the tourist spots are within walking distance, including as Mont-Royal, boulevard Saint-Laurent, and Vieux-Montréal. Our hotel room was very clean, with fresh towels included. It is clear that the building, which is lovely and historic, originally wasn't a hotel, so everyone visiting has to be prepared for that. The washrooms were small, but that didn't bother me with the aforementioned knowledge in mind and they were still cleaned. Rachid at the front desk was very nice and helped everyone coming in. We will come again!

The Hotel was just so so. Good thing - Room was spacious. Bad thing - AC controls are not in the room and it is centrally operated by the owner. Bathroom was super tiny and nothing good about it. Overall .. a place to stay close to downtown but the stay was not so great.
