The location was very nice, lovely architecture and an amazing host couple. We had some great breakfast and got many insider tips for our Montréal trip. We stayed three nights and I just can highly recommend this place. We would come here again every time.

Great place, very friendly hosts, delicious food, home feeling, parking place. Very close to the botanical garden, also not far from downtown Montreal.

Petra and Daniel are amazing and friendly hosts! Petra spent a ton of time with us going over the minutiae of how to get around the city, what highlights we had to see, and giving us restaurant recommendations. Daniel is an inventive chef and came up with delicious hot breakfasts every morning. We stayed 4 nights and he didn't repeat a meal once! They also chat with their guests over breakfast and really make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. Our bathroom didn't have a wall attachment for the shower head, so...we sat for our showers! It was a little weird at first (I'm used to a stand-up shower) but honestly after a whole day of walking around the city, sitting for a shower was a welcome change! They are ideally located too, in a quiet and safe area, and they're close to the bus stop and train station. There's also a cute little street nearby with restaurants and shops. It's relatively easy to get around town with just public transportation alone. We were lucky enough to find free street parking, so we left our car there for our whole visit and relied just on buses/trains/walking and saw pretty much everything we wanted to see. Will definitely be staying here again, assuming they're not already all booked up next time we visit!

GREAT MONTREAL B&B The two of us were favoured with the hospitality of Daniel, Petra and Monsieur Petit for four days in July this year. The Julliard Suite was wonderful, parking was most appreciated, and the location near active streets and attractions was very desirable. This B&B is very clean, very well appointed, and has hosts that become friends in very little time! And the food… oh the food.. a different breakfast every day, discussed with us the night before, and tailored to our diet and our wishes. We have recommended A La Carte enthusiastically to our friends, and we will definitely stay there again on our next visit to beautiful Montreal.

Hands down a 5 star experience! Highly recommended if you are looking for a comfort like home while also not missing out on the Montreal experience. Petra, Daniel and Monsieur Petit are AMAZING hosts. While Petra ensured that we had a perfect tour of the city, Daniel ensured that our stomachs were full until evening with his delicious breakfasts. (I miss them already.) Monsieur Petit has his own cute charm and was present to welcome us and to bid us adieu. The room and the house were super clean, the breakfast was mouthwatering, the hosts were welcoming, accommodating and also very informative. On our last day, Daniel and Petra played some amazing Indian music to give us that homely touch. To me, this gesture meant a lot and we felt more like their guests than just some paid customers. Thank you for having us stay at your lovely home and for sending us such cute souvenirs. :)

We loved our stay at A la Carte B&B. From the moment we arrived, Petra and Daniel welcomed us more like family than like customers. The accommodations are comfy and homey. Petra knows the city in great detail and provides wonderful guidance and tips on what to see and how to get around. Daniel is convivial and loquacious (and a great cook). Conversations with him were filled with humor and joy. Monsieur Petit is probably the world's cutest and best behaved little dog. You won't regret a stay at A la Carte B&B.

My girlfriend and I had a marvelous stay at this place. Daniel and Petra were the best hosts we could ask for. Petra took the time to help us plan everything out each morning and Daniel made very delicious breakfasts each morning. On top of that, Monsieur Petit is the cutest dog in town. I highly recommend staying here. When I return to Montreal I definitely will be staying here again.

We felt very welcomed and at home from the minute we arrived. The food was fantastic and our rooms were very comfortable and clean! Petra and Daniel were jovial hosts that were a pleasure to speak with and were quite helpful in showing us how to navigate public transport, the city as a whole, and the best places to explore. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in the apartment. There was plenty of room for us and our two teenagers. We absolutely loved the spaces inside and the neighborhood around. It would have been a great stay even if we'd never ventured beyond a one mile radius of the B&B. Nevertheless, Petra deciphered the transit system for us and tamed the overwhelming opportunities in the city and we had a fantastic time exploring. If it's your first time to Montreal as it was for us, you'd be missing out by not staying here and benefiting from the great neighborhood, Petra and Daniel's insights and advice, and the wonderful space of this B&B. If you've been to Montreal before, you should take the chance to more deeply explore this corner of it.

Daniel and Petra have a wonderful B&B in a very interesting Montreal neighborhood. They're located about six blocks west of Olympic Park and just a half block away from a street crammed with restaurants and stores. The B&B itself is extremely well organized and the apartment upstairs (where we stayed) is terrific. It's spacious, modern and very well-equipped. The hosts are gracious and welcoming; we very much enjoyed our stay.

A true bed and breakfast experience. Petra and Daniel are excellent hosts and can give great advice on where to travel and explore in Montreal. Monsieur Petit, their friendly 🐕 ambassador, gave plenty of welcoming cuddles.

We just spent a delightful five nights at the A la Carte B&B and I couldn't recommend it more highly. Very comfortable accommodation. Unbelievable breakfasts. I am not a big breakfast person but I found myself eating everything put in front of me. And on top of that the hosts are so welcoming. And willing to help me with my French language acquisition. We will be back!

Viele Grüße aus Good Old Germany! Jana & Marco

Alles in allem: TOP!

Tja, was sollen wir sagen. Was will man mehr. Eine Unterkunft zum Wiederkommen und zur Weiterempfehlung. Es lohnt sich.

We recently spent three nights at A La Carte B&B and really enjoyed our stay. The hosts, Daniel and Petra, were warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely and the breakfasts were delicious. The location is nestled in a vibrant neighborhood of Montreal which is convenient to public transportation to the city center and the botanical gardens. We would stay here again if we visit Montreal.
