Mammogram was performed by Linda and Bony Density by Patricia. Both were friendly and highly competent. Made sure to make you feel as comfortable as possible during the exams. Dr. Otaky is excellent. A very calm demeanour, thorough, takes the time to answer questions, does not rush the appointment. The offices/waiting areas are clean, bright, easy to get to on Sherbrooke corner Guy. Highly recommend this clinic for any of their services.

$875 for an ultrasound and I'm still in the waiting room 1h after my original appointment time. Highly unprofessional. I'm usually not one to complain as I'm a nurse and I understand that sometimes some patients take longer than others, but charging nearly $1000 without taking into consideration that people's time is limited is absolutely ridiculous. I expect this kind of service from the public healthcare system. I travelled 2h for this and had to miss a whole days' work.

Dr. Otaky had great bedside manner and made me feel comfortable the minute I walked into the room. Made me feel at ease and calmed my nerves right away. Great doctor, would highly recommend ;) It's quite pricey ($875) which I get since its private and honestly, you cant put a price on health and your peace. BUT the wait time for a private service was crazy, 2 hours and 15 minutes was intense. Had a great experience considering I was going for a mammogram and ultrasound. After not being taken seriously by “public” clinics, I decided to go the private route. Worth every penny. Had an appointment in no time, was treated with respect by all the staff and physician. My concerns were taken seriously even though(thankfully) my screenings came out fine. Mammogram was not painful, the technician was awesome. Was able to go over the results immediately with the doctor and he performed ultrasound himself. Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend.

I’m never one to post reviews about places, but I need to for this medical facility. This place is by far the most welcoming, organized, and professional medical facility I’ve ever encountered. I was here for the radiology center and was very pleased by how fast paced it went, how welcoming the ladies at the front desk were, how efficient the technician lady conducting the radiology was, and how calming they were. I was scared to get an MRI but the technician lady was so nice and calming that I couldn’t help but feel so at ease and safe. She truly was made for this job, she was extraordinarily amazing. If I ever need other medical services, this place is definitely my go-to. Thank you to the great team that helped me!

Dr Polyhronopolous is, as always, very professional and meticulous. He always takes his time and listens to my concerns. At this clinic he has access to all the diagnostic resources required to complete the diagnostic in one visit. I am lucky to have him as my doctor. I considered knocking off one star for the price but given the transparency I did not feel it justified. I came for the private care and that’s what I received. FYI- to see the doctor they require a recent mammogram, if not done recently they will be asked to do it at their radiology centre (which is private) so plan for that added cost.

I usually do breast check up in this clinic with Dr. Otaky and I did the thyroid ultrasound with him as well, and I got the result on the same day. I had originally filled the online form twice to obtain an appointment, but no one called. However it was very easy to call the clinic and book an appointment. Dr. Mordechai Rehany provided me with the worst time with a doctor I’ve ever had. He was disrespectful from the moment he arrived. No explanation of why he was seeing me rather than the doctor I was expecting. When I was lying on the table, he told me to move closer to him and then to turn onto my side right on the edge of the table facing him where he sat. When I told him I was going to fall off he told me I could lean against him. My breast was bare and I was so uncomfortable and scared during the whole examination trying to avoid touching him. He had no lab coat or even suit jacket on. Also no mask, yet he felt free to cough with no attempt to cover it. Big smile to say everything was okay. Then he gave me a towel and strutted out and left the door wide open. I put my shirt on and escaped.

While it's an absolute shame the cost of good healthcare is this high in a country with socialized medicine, I am happy I decided to pay for my breast ultrasound and consultation. The public wait list was about 2-3 months, but by going private I was able to get an appointment and results within 2 days. The day of the appointment I was in and out very fast, never waiting for more than 5 minutes! Dr Anderson was incredible, and she took her time to explain what she was doing, her thoughts, and to make sure she didn't miss a thing. After that she double checked her findings with a colleague. Very, very reassuring to feel you are receiving proper care when it comes to what could be nothing..or cancer. It hurts a lot financially, and it's shame it has to be like that in this province. If anything I am happy that by going private I was not taking a spot in the public system for a woman who cannot afford it.

Got the initial result 4 days later, and final result one week after biopsy. I have decided to follow up my surgery with him which will be done within one week or two. I highly recommend this breast clinic.

I recently went for a mammogram at VM. The technician and facilities were excellent. I then waited close to 2 hours for my results. I can understand that going to a breast center in a hospital would entail this. I do not understand that when one pays $240.00 that the wait is this long even if other clients do need to have biopsies. There ought to be more than one doctor. I do not plan to return.

My experience was pretty good actually. I drove in from Ottawa and because of the weather, was a little rattled. The staff were friendly and efficient. The fact that I don’t speak French was not an issue. My only comment comes from there not being enough direction to get to the reception area from the main floor. I was actually directed to the ninth floor for my appointment (ultrasound). Someone there saw me wandering around looking for the receptionist at which point they sent me to the tenth floor where I finally found the right place. Other than that, I appreciated speedy service and the doctor was lovely.

I was very pleased from the beginning till the end. Starting with getting a quick appointment. Dr Poly was fabulous he did my hernia surgery annd I couldn’t be happier . The service with my surgery booking was the best also! Very quick and efficient! Excellent service!!

I drove from Ottawa to VM-Med to get my biopsy done there. In Ottawa they would only have given me an appointment for another 2 months. Here, once I called them they booked me for the following day. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Dr. Otaky is very knowledgeable and knows perfectly what he is doing. One of my greatest experiences ever!

The appointment was for my girlfriend and she filed up the form on the website to get an appointment. The clinic manage to give her an appointment the same day and most importantly the results of her tests on the spot. Everyone at this clinic was absolutely outstanding! From the receptionist to the technician and to the Doctor… all of them! They take time with you, you feel very welcome and you actually feel like an important human. Thanks again to your marvelous team.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff & doctors at VM-Med. Dr Otaky handled my ultrasound & biopsy in one office visit with results in a few days & surgery scheduled 10 days after that. I have never felt rushed whatsoever in any of my appointments & all of my questions & concerns are answered & addressed. If I needed to get a hold of the doctor it was quite easy to do so. Scheduling is also smooth & quick and they will work with you to find a time suitable for you!

Exceptional clinic and Dr. Otaky is a fantastic doctor - sympathetic, down to earth, extremely knowledgeable, good humour. I'm out of province and well worth the travels to see him. All of the staff are also very kind, supportive and helpful. (all health care should work. this way)

Very impressed with this organization! Very quick and professional response. I met with my surgeon the day after contacting them. My inguinal hernia surgery took place less than 2 weeks later. My surgeon, Dr Polyhronopoulos, was excellent. I highly recommend VM-Med for surgery where one cannot wait the ridiculous times the Quebec public system offers.

1st time to the clinic, met with the nurse who was amazing and comforting. Explained everything step by step. The Doctor was amazing and felt I was nervous so she calmed me down. Very professional.

I needed a test fast. They were able to accommodate me in the next day or so. The Physician was wonderful and the nurses and admin people were very efficient and friendly. I’m very glad I found this medical service.

If I could write a worse review I would, however , I do not posses the capabilities of expressing myself in such a tasteless manner to describe the inefficiency and unprofessionalism that this commerce practice with. I found this establishment as advertised as Hernia specialists, when speaking with the acting management and supervisor, they could not answer normal everyday questions to answer my concerns, spoke over me, rudely interrupted me and then spoke on the doctors behalf after not liking my reaction to their disgusting behavior. Any company that acts and practices this type of gross abuse of power in interrupting and speaking over a potential patient and then hang up on them should have their medical licenses questioned. To employ such disgraceful and disgusting behavior is a prime example of what we as people don't bring to the forefront of attention clearly enough making it rampant in our society. I think that there needs to be an internal meeting or restructuring of your staff to ensure you actually have competency in a supervisors role as to not worry potential patients and insult them. Good thing we live in a one party consent country.

I went to VM - Med on Wednesday May 17th, it was an awesome experience with Dr. Anderson. She is very caring and has a great sense of humor too. She knows what she is talking about, great Doctor. I feel very confidant with her as my Doctor going through this Breast Cancer journey. The rest of the staff, front desk and outside the offices getting all the paperwork done for patients are also awesome, very personable!!!

Fast, courteous, friendly, professional, efficient. I was in and out within an hour, including ultrasounds and medical examination, with results in hand. Dr Otaki and the entire team are excellent.

The process was more streamlined than ever before. Quick action at the reception and the different steps were done seamlessly. Here are different observations: 1. The forms to fill in were not clear. It indicated G/D and then at the bottom Yes/No - so I assumed G was Yes and D was No. While it meant sein gauche / sein droit. So I filled the forms wrong. Needs to be better organized. 2. Everything else was fine - excellent technician Shannon, the best I have had at this clinic over several years. 3. I went to the room where it said appointment booking - there were two people on the telephone - after waiting five minutes or so one of the women on the phone looked at me and told me by a hand gesture to wait outside. When outside, nothing happened, after waiting for ten minutes I saw a small notice saying that the follow up appointment will be done directly by e-mail. After two weeks: --I have not received a follow up date so far. I was also told that ---a copy of the receipt was going to be sent by e-mail. I did receive an e-mail but without any attachments. No receipt attached.

Was able to get a private appointment with Dr. Otaky within 24hrs of contacting VM-Med. Dr. Otaky is professional and has fantastic bedside manner.

Terrible communication and administration. Every time you call the person who is supposed to help you is "on break," and they don't call you back or email you back either. I had to call several times just to get an appointment and another important question addressed. Then they're annoyed that you're calling back when they should have done their job in the first place. Once you're there, it's okay. The MRI technician was excellent!

Very professional and knowledgeable doctors. I felt really confident with Dr Otaky as well as with Dre Dontigny. Every staff members were warm and welcoming. Highly recommend the clinic.

I found a lump in my breast. My gyno wouldn’t see me. I don’t have a family dr. I sent a message to VM med and I got an appointment the next day. They were fantastic. The mammogram technician was so warm and professional. I saw a great Dr. I’m almost no time. He was able to give me my results and was very thorough. I highly recommend this clinic if you don’t want to waste your precious time and get piece of mind fast.

The reception was very nice and professional. The staff was nice and most attentive. It's so obvious when you are in a private clinic or hospital. The difference between public and private just hit you coming in the office. One hour wait seemed to go by pretty fast since you can watch the big tv monitors while waiting. Dr. Dontigny and her assistant Sarrah were very professional yet friendly and very caring. I already have an appointment for my next visit and all this via email ans SMS.

I just called now Monday morning Sept 25th at 9:30 to cancel my appointment, receptionist kept insisting I have to answer my SMS msg, told her I never received one just an email that I responded to and canceled it on there. Then she hung up on me. Receptionist is very rude for a private clinic. Get a different job if you dont like that one!!!

Dr Anderson is extremely friendly, and really puts you at ease. She's a real gem. And the woman who did my mammogram (I never learned her name) was also quite cheerful! I will definitely be back.

Excellent experience! Dr. Lorraine and Nurse Sarah did an incredible job! They are very professional and caring. It feels reassuring to know you are in good hands! The staff was also very kind and the wait times were minimal.

I highly recommend this clinic to my friends and all people who need quick diagnosis or just to do screening. It is an expensive service like all private ones in Canada, but it is absolutely worth any dollar, you pay for the doctors who did a long study and become experts in their domain. Dr. Naim Otaky is a doctor which you can not forget and if you have to return, you will do it with pleasure and without any hesitation. He is an expert in his specialization. He has visibly very extensive experience and knowledge. What makes him an exceptional doctor is his character and personality, attitude to a patient. His is a wonderful, noble human being with a heart and a great sense of humor. His calmness, warm smile and confidence make patients feel safe and assured even with an unpleasant diagnosis. The receptionists of this clinic are professional and human beings which also touched my heart. Thank you Dr. Otaky for everything.

I am a resident of Ontario, and disillusioned and frustrated with the lack of service Ontario health care provides. Dr. Poly came recommended and I could not have been more impressed and encouraged by not only his professionalism, but the professionalism of his office staff in general. These are people looking to be helpful and looking for solutions not for obstacles and indifference. I am looking forward to having Dr. Poly getting my problem solved. I had my hernia procedure today (within 4 days of meeting Dr Poly…… lol). I cannot express how impressed I was with the entire staff. I could not have received better care and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr Poly and staff. These people are the epitome of health care professionals and just generally nice/good people!! THANK YOU

I have been a patient here for over 2 years, and my experience has consistently been pleasant. I regularly see Dr. Browman, who is exceptionally professional, friendly, and fluent in English. I would highly recommend VM Med and Dr. Browman to anyone in need of medical services. I also use the public wait list, you do need to plan ahead of time as the waiting time is usually 2-3 months. All the staffs I spoke with are very friendly and helpful too.

Brilliant service from the second you walk in. I had a breast ultrasound done with Dr Dawn Anderson and she really eased my anxiety from the get go by showing a lot of empathy and answering all my questions. Her and Katerina were very thorough and professional. Would definitely recommend them in a heartbeat.

I was appreciative for the timely manner in which I was seen by Doctor Otaky and the scheduling of the my surgery for Inguinal Hernia. The staff was professional and attentive. The surgery was Open Mesh surgery vs Laparoscopic which took more time to heal and left a three inch incision scar. Given the latest technology and success rate for laparoscopic surgery, in retrospect, I would have preferred Laparoscopic. It was unfortunate that I was not given the option. upon further research, I understand it is a more costly & timely procedure. Nonetheless, the surgery went well, however I felt somewhat rushed to exit the clinic following my surgery; I could barely walk down the stairs. There is an opportunity to improve on the patient follow-up care following the surgery. I was told that someone would contact me 5-6 weeks following the surgery to schedule an appointment with Dr Otaky. After eight weeks, no one contacted me so I reached out to schedule an appointment. When I paid for the surgery I requested a breakdown of the procedure for my insurance. I was told they would work on it however I still have not received anything from the clinic even after two follow-up requests. Overall things worked out well but there are definitely areas of improvement for a private clinic; such as more consideration and discussion with patient in terms of surgical options (pros and cons) and more attentive patient follow-up care.

Dr. Gerry Polyhronopoulos made my surgery go smooth and painless and I felt reassured and in good hands all along the process of all my visits. On top of being highly professional and having capable firm surgeon's hands ( during my surgery I did not need any sedation, so I was well aware of the surroundings) , he is very welcoming, caring and able to listen and answer all the questions and concerns. Thank you Dr. Polyhronopoulos for taking such a good care of my problem !

I went to VM Med for an ultrasound and anticipated a level of professionalism with the $250 price tag. Unfortunately, the front desk attendant's demeanor fell far short of expectations. Not only was she discourteous, but she also gave incorrect directives. Her negativity and hostility in response to basic inquiries left me regretting my choice to seek services here. I will be sure to go elsewhere in the future. It is very disappointing when the private medical sector is a worse experience than the public one.

Staff are great and very welcoming and professional. This is the second visit in 6 months where I waited almost 2 hours to see the gynecologist and I had an appointment. One expects that wait time in the public healthcare system, not at a private clinic.
