O star. But it's not possible to do it. I stayed there for one night and moved to something better. The first night there was leaking water on the ceiling of the lobby, they had to put a bucket so that the water would not drop on the floor. What a sight! The room was smelling like an old decaying carpet. And then I had loud neighbour banging on the walls, police would often patrol that sketchy hotel. The young man at the reception is a Lebanese with attitude. Save your money and go anywhere but this place. Would not recommend it to my worse enemy.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, to check in I waited for 1 hr as at the service desk the employee was very rude, looked like he knew nothing and I am pretty sure under age. I request for my rooms to be together, and they were not, rooms were in-fact unbearable. The smell of smoke in non smoking rooms, tiny beds, blankets on bed covers were burnt from cigarette buds or ashes, direst washrooms, no amenities, worst service in the world. This hotel is cheap, but its cheap for a reason.-expect nothing!! I would give it ni stars, no recommendations what so ever, this was the worst experience i have ever had. I would rather sleep in my car!

Waste of money ... I spent with my wife 5 min in this hotel. I had booked for 8 nights but ... The moment we get inside we both didn't like the smell, we didn't like the cleaningness of the hotel, we decided to give them a chance and go up to check the room. The moment we stepped inside the room ... my wife was about to cry... I felt that someone will show up and this is a comedy show and everyone will laugh then they will show us the real room. I didn't like the room size, cleaningness, smell. Oh my God... this is one of the worst experiences I ever had in my life for an hotel. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Finally... I didn't like the way the gentleman at the reception treated me and my wife. One star is too much for Google rating ... I wish there's a negative stars.

This is not in service as a hotel right now, but instead is a shelter for the indigenous population. It's wonderful, because it's a safe place for unhoused people and the staff there do a great job making sure they're safe.

NIGHTMARE OF MY LIFE I would not recommend anyone to book with at Hotels.com at this location (Address: 2060 Saint-Dominique, Montreal, QC H2X 2X1, Canada) even if they offer a free stay for a lifetime. It will be the biggest mistake of your life. Below is WHY. We have reserved two standard rooms at Hotels.com (Address: 2060 Saint-Dominique, Montreal, QC H2X 2X1, Canada). When we reached the hotel around 5:30 PM to check in they said, "You have only one room booked." We showed them a reservations document that has all the information. They said they don't have two rooms for us and said, "Contact your third-party vendor from you book the rooms" even we have booked it directly from Hotels.com. The front desk called the manager and the worst part start from here. First of all, the manager was very rude to the hotel's front desk employee. Manager/Owner check in the system and said we don't have 2 rooms booked with them and when we have to show them the proof of the booking he had no answer and instead of finding a solution to the matter he just got angry without no reason and started behaving very rudely with us in front of 3-4 other customer who was waiting with other issues with checking in to the hotel. He was like, "Get out of the hotel." They don't have room and I was shocked like what nonsense instead of resolving this matter for a customer whose other with the family end of the day telling in abusive to get out of the hotel...WOW. I just punch my face to make sure that I am not having a dream or something but It was really a nightmare in reality. The manager/Owner went away after saying get out from the hotel. The Owner/Manager of the hotel doesn't care about customer experience due to the location of the hotel is in downtown Montreal. He is literally doing fraud with people by overbooking the rooms and by not providing rooms to the customer or giving back a refund. In the last, I would request you guys to not go with the hotel (address mentioned above) ever, if you want to enjoy your trip or hospitality.

Worst stay of our lives. Had 3 rooms, cleanliness of all was horrible. No hot water for shower in one room. Non-existent up keep of bed, bedding, curtains, furniture looked and felt like a 1960s cheap motel. Just really creepy feeling nothing had been washed or cleaned since 1960. Staff not really helpful (tried to get a taxi) front desk phone didn't work. Continental breakfast included coffee so weak you could see through it . Do not stay here the price is not worth it.

Awful experience! I don’t even know where to start, from the rude and nonchalant receptionist and the manager upon arrival to the dirty, smelly, and moldy rooms. I booked a non-smoking, two queen beds room; what I got was a smoking one-bed room with cigarette buttons on my bedding. I left the first night, although I paid in advance for five nights. I invite the health authorities to visit this property; it should not even have one star, rather than two.

Definitely a low end 2* hotel. Funky smell all over the hotel, kind of a strong disinfectant. Ended up choosing to not stay in the hotel (although non-refundable), as there were signs of bed bug droppings on the bed's box spring. Rooms were cleaned, and Im pretty sure its some guests that bring in bed bugs if any existed, I just chose not to risk it. The manager was very nice and understood my concerns. Not for me, but might be good for people on a low budget.

They should be stripped of their stars. The outside of the hotel was not welcoming at all. I almost slipped 3 times prior to reaching the front desk. No kindness nor welcome from the agent at the front desk. The room was small; it took few minutes to figure out the lighting. πŸ˜„ The bathroom tub was dirty!! The worst is that it does not drain!!! The room is non-smoking but the smell of smoke is all over in the hallway.😠The so-called continental breakfast?? Utterly ridiculous!! Not sure when they actually clean but over 24hrs I did not see anybody!

Very nice room for $50 a night. AC, TV, electrical outlets, and bathroom were clean and in working order. Amenities are what you'd expect from a hotel. Only complaint is the wifi, which was horrible. Come prepared with your own data plan if you don't want to go off the grid.

The price and location was great. The room is tidy and neat. I wished there was more towels in the bathroom considering the booking was for 4 people! The breakfast is very simple, but I liked that there's a free coffee in the lobby available 24h!! Also, I wished there was a mini fridge in the rooms. One more thing to consider is there's no free parking available. You can only park on the nearby streets or in the public parking lot 3 blocks away!!! Would comeback if the prices stayed reasonable!!!

We spent 8 days at the ARS hotel and I liked it very much! It's very clean and the staff is friendly! Nice breakfast election better than other places I've seen before! There's a good chance I'll be coming next year but this time with my kids!

Worst hotel ever I have experienced 😣😣😣we booked our accommodation through Hote.com for 2 rooms and when we showed up @ the hotel, the owner said there is just one booking and he didn’t even help out to accommodate for another room neither gave us the refund of our booking! Apparently, desk guy found the room and it turned out AC was not working there but after wasting 2 hrs of argument there, we had to take the room anyways! Breakfast in the morning was even worse part of the hotel, dirty and smelled really bad of smoked! ***THEY MIGHT HAVE LOW PRICE AND GOOD LOCATION BUT WORSE HOSPITALITY EVER***

I tried to book a room for my bro and walked there. It is now a shelter for First Nations people, and not a hotel.

Worst place to go to. took off my deposit, mentioning i broke a tv when i had no fricking tv in my room, could not even sleep for a night because the bed was gross/uncomfortable and a creepy hallway. You’re better off sleeping on the street than this place

Worst customer service ever. Not to mention, I've been trying to cancel my reservation online since the reception is unresponsive. Booking referred me this hotel by phone and didn't mention the reviews or rating. I am disappointed and refuse to pay full price for cancellation. I also refuse to go to a hotel room that smells like smoke or has holes in blankets. Be careful because they try to trap you with that no refund policy. And they charge you in full price before you even check in!!!

Run away from this Hotel. Worst experience ever! Bed sheets and blankets looks too old and smelly. Service is the worst. Hotel workers have the attitude that they were forced to work there. WIFI is close to dead. You can get way better place for the money

This place was central to all of our adventures. My fiance and I had a great time. We enjoyed staying here and the staff was super friendly. Wish breakfast had less carbs and more variety though. We most definitely want to come back to Montreal and will stay here again.
