Dear Maison St-Vincent, je t'aime! Honestly, you are my favorite renting in Montréal; I would trade a kidney just to live there permanently. Anyway, jokes aside, everytime I buy the ticket for a ride in this place, I come back home with imperishable memories. Well located, just 10 minutes away from the Wheel, and the rooms all have a special vibe; a perfect mix of rustic filigree and new age trends. Bring some 20 years old Cabral porto in your traveling bag, cosmic tea also, blast the right music, select the cheesiest & old Roku movie on the screen, buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Perfect location. And the bathroom was very nice. I'm including a photo of the shower since when I booked the room, I couldn't find any photos of it. Love that it has both a rain shower head and a hand wand. We were in room 204. There is some noise from the businesses emptying bottles into trash cans that is behind the room, but it wasn't an unpleasant sound. Great air conditioning and the kitchenette is fantastic. I had family staying at the William Gray which is just a couple doors down. They paid three times what we paid and I actually like the Maison Vincent much better. It was so nice to just have a code to get into the building and another for the room. You never worried about leaving your key in the room. Plus the space was big enough for the two of us and we didn't feel crammed in at all. There is the bed area, the kitchenette, a sitting area and a table with bar stools. And the bathroom is very large. Just one sink but tons of counter and storage space. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel steps away from Old Montreal. Was able to leave my bags before check-in / after check-out (just had to notify them via text). They were fairly responsive when texting. Room was clean and felt really cozy. The double curtains were great - felt like it adequately blocked off light so you could sleep in if you wanted. Some downsides: - No elevator (they do mention that if you need help with your luggage, contact them 48h before your stay & they can help) - Noise: Because of the location, it is understandable, but flagging that this is in a busy part of town. The garbage / recycling do come early in the morning but it wasn’t as bad as I expected (I saw the comment from the other poster but I did stay in the 3rd floor so maybe that’s why the noise was not as bad?). I did also still hear some ambiance noise from the nearby restaurant until 12am too but it wasn’t too disturbing & I could tune it out. Overall, it’s a nice hotel and I’ll likely return again. Edit (2023): I came back again this year and it remains my fav hotel in Montreal.

Really rare find in Old Montreal. We stayed in room 305 for 2 nights, and it was everything we needed. The shared kitchenette was super useful, the provided earplugs was a nice touch even though it wasn't too noisy in our room. The complimentary tea, coffee and water was also a nice bonus. The bed was super comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. We even ended up using the Smart TV on a rainy night! I would highly recommend staying at Maison Saint-Vincent.

The location is ideal, situated in the heart of old Montreal on a beautiful street close to everything. The interiors have been tastefully renovated, but the best part is the management. Despite being virtual, they made our experience wonderful, addressing all our requests and being exceptionally kind throughout our stay. Even when a mishap occurred that wasn't their fault, they surprised us with a bottle of wine. Additionally, when we left an iPad behind, they contacted us before we realized it was missing. I've already recommended this place to all my friends planning to visit Montreal, and I eagerly anticipate my next stay.

Lovely location great for shopping and walking around old Montreal and not only. Staff always ready with a smile. Room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The style details throughout the hotel were engaging and fun. We loved the extra amenities( shampooing, shower gel, body lotion , bar soap, shower cap, coffeee and tea. We also had a red wine waiting for us in the room. We would definitely stay here again !!

Room 305 shower don't work. Only boiling hot water so no showering possible. They don't have a front desk there is only txt service. The person texting was communicating with us until we asked about the shower. As of that point the communication stopped. This is a rip off.

This is a difficult review to post because the hotel itself is nice, but you need to know about the area it's located in. Tuesday and Thursday is trash day, Monday and Wednesday is recycling day, and Friday is another trash day. Literally every day of the week you will get woken up by a truck picking up some sort of trash. On Monday and Tuesday it was a 5:30am wake up, on Wednesday and Thursday it was a 4:50am wake up, and on Friday it was a wake up sometime after 6:30am. Rooms 201, 202 and 203 are on the street that the garbage trucks drive on. Avoid those rooms; and I'm assuming it's the same in the rooms on the 3rd floor (301, 302, & 303.) Friday nights there is a pizza restaurant (Bevo) that plays loud house music (you can feel the bass in your room) until at least midnight. This is a super cute hotel, great mini kitchen setup, good water pressure, and cute bathroom. The bed was comfortable but too soft for us personally. It was just really unfortunate that we had to endure trash trucks so early in the morning and a pizza restaurant/wannabe club music so late at night. If this noise is lessened at all by staying off the street in the interior rooms of the building, then that would have been amazing to know ahead of time and something we would have loved to know. Not necessarily the hotels fault, but I'm sure they know of these issues and would be better to note that on the website listing for the rooms. Pros - cute, comfy, cool location in old town, nice big windows, natural light, updated rooms, updated bathrooms, new paint, prompt to deliver extra toilet paper and shampoo to us. Cons - right on a busy street, can hear literally everything that happens outside, can hear footsteps walking upstairs, could be cleaner (cobwebs around ceiling/lights, trash hadn't been emptied, holes in towels), trash bins are literally right below room 202 & 203 outside - so all the trash trucks stop outside your windows. If you're a light sleeper or someone that likes to sleep past 5:30am then look elsewhere.

Perfect spot for a quick visit to the Old City. Room was beautiful and clean, location was very central to all the sights, check in was let-yourself - in using door codes. Easy as can be. Not the right location if you can't climb stairs, expect a lot of services from on site staff, or want in-building amenities like a gym or meeting rooms.

My husband and I stayed in room 302 on August 29, 2023. The room was lovely, great coffee maker, with Netflix and also in PERFECT location just steps from. rue St-Paul in Old Montréal. We will definitely be back!

Maison Saint-Vincent perfectly combines the small comforts of home with a bright, modern, luxurious retreat. Small touches like snacks, filtered water, real plants make it feel like home, while achieving a spotless, uncluttered space. Would definitely recommend! The street noise and noise between rooms was a bit higher than normal but not uncommon in old buildings and during a weekend stay. Earplugs were provided but we never needed them.

Such a charming hotel! Truly lovely furnishings. The hotel is conveniently located close to metro and bus transportation. And the neighborhood is charming with lots to do.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The check in process was very easy and the hotel is located very close to a lot of Montreal attractions. We will definitely be back!

Not sure what all the positive reviews are about... the first thing I get when I get to my room is a phone call, not to welcome me to the place, but to ask if I parked my car in the wrong place! Note there is no front desk or anyone on the site at this accommodation. All the communication is via text (or a phone call when they want to make sure you haven't parked at the wrong place :( ). I found the descriptions of rooms confusing. It seems that all rooms on the 2nd floor have kitchenettes but no desk (there is a desk in the common space); all rooms on the 3rd floor have desks but no kitchenettes (there is a shared kitchen). I had to change rooms because I needed to work and the dining chairs provided in my 2nd floor room were very uncomfortable to sit on. Also, my first room (#203) faced a cobbled street so I could hear every time a car passed during the night, and and the noise of a truck that comes and makes really loud noise at 7:15 in the morning (ear plugs provided for a reason!). The chairs needed to be repaired, I found rubbish from the person who stayed before. After I moved to the 3rd floor things were marginally better (room #305 faced the courtyard, a little less noise but still noisy when the garbage collectors come early in the morning, and there was an A/C compressor humming right outside my bathroom window). One of the drawers of the desk was broken. I also felt unsafe as all the doors are controlled by codes so in theory anyone with the code can open your door. There is no chain or bolt locks or anything that can secure the door from the inside. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable beds, the furniture was modern, and the bathrooms were clean. I will be looking elsewhere for my next stay in Montreal.

If you're looking for a comfortable, modern, and clean location in the heart of Montreal? Here it is. We were skeptical on how there were no physical people to check in with, but the communication was amazing.

I am a local but we stayed here on our wedding night and it was delightful. We are looking forward to going back every year for our anniversary! Great location but you won't want to leave because you have everything you need in the room.

The location is excellent, and the place is so cute. All the amenities are there, there's even a little lobby with a desk (for work) and a kitchen for things like coffee and tea. We had a great time staying there. The only quibble is that the hot water is tepid at best.

I only have great things to say about the staff and the 2 rooms we got for our stay in Montreal, at Maison St Vincent, rue St Vincent. Thank You for allowing us to stay there. Although accommodation is referred to as rooms they really are large studios, with all the amenities that studios offer. The double room was huge with a nice living area + kitchen. Everything has attentively been thought through. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes, even milk in the fridge for the multiple coffee pods. We even found a bottle of an excellent Bordeaux in each room - but I don't know if that's only because we were there just before Christmas. Anyway, the management is very thoughtful and easy to work with. Texts get answered right away! We would love to stay there again!

Amazing location and beautiful modern place with everything you could need. The only downside was parking. We had to park far away and it was a bit of a walk with our luggage.

Beautiful place to stay just in Montreal old town. Walkable to pretty much everywhere. Rooms are very nice with a lovely modern bathroom and little kitchenette.

Had the most amazing stay at this beautiful hotel! A true hidden gem in Old Montreal. The attention to detail, easy/seamless self-check in and gorgeous decor made our stay beyond enjoyable. Best area too!

Absolutely fantastic hotel. As other reviews say if your not up by 9 the garbage trucks do make enough noise to wake you. We never has that issue though since we were always up before then. You can hear doors closing if they get slammed but we never heard other people talking in the hotel. Our biggest regret was really not staying here for our entire stay.

Hotel went through an electricity surge within a short time of arrival and it damaged personal property. Management was evasive, did not follow up as promised or forward hotel policy. The rooms are not clean, blood stains and ripped sheets on bed. Luckily we were able to stay at another hotel that turned our stay in Montreal around. Never again.

I have never wrote a review for anything but I had to for this. Maison Saint Vincent exceeded all of our expectations. Spotless clean and bright. The check in/out was a breeze. It felt very safe and we had more then basics! (Robes, slippers etc) Very appreciated. I’m very grateful that I was able to afford this quality due to the amazing value for the price. The decor is exquisite, they gave good thought to functionality as well, Great attention to detail. Best place I’ve ever stayed for the price to be honest. The only thing I could think of .. is it’d would be nice to have luxurious rooms with bathtub .. for something like a romantic trip but that may not be their audience and that is fine. Do not hesitate to book. Thank you very much to the entire team !

Beautifully decorated and perfectly located, room 201 was a wonderful place to hang our hat while checking out Old Montreal! The ear plugs on the nightstands were a nice (and necessary) touch as the garbage pick-up outside is quite noisy in the morning. The only downfall was the curtains - they were beautiful.. But not functional. The room was very bright and made it difficult to sleep. If you need a darker space to sleep, I would suggest bringing an eye mask! Regardless, I would stay there again!

Spotless, beautifully designed room with very comfortable bed and many cool amenities in the small kitchen. Loved the self check-in, the room was perfectly ventilated and air-conditioned and the location in Old Montreal cannot be beat! Will definitely be coming back! Thank you for this very enjoyable experience!
