I'm an emigrant and moved recently. When I miss my hometown Tehran (it's look like City Theater), I go there and think about my family. I hope Iranians will be free soon and then I will go visit them. To whoever is reading this, life is so unfair, so make others happy because you have no idea what they have been through.

Place des Arts holds a special place in my heart as a go-to destination for a variety of experiences. Whether attending captivating shows or simply strolling around with the kids, this cultural hub never fails to impress. The array of shows hosted here spans a diverse range, from mesmerizing performances to thought-provoking plays. The venue's commitment to delivering top-notch entertainment is evident in every production, making each visit a memorable one. Beyond the shows, bringing the kids for a leisurely walk around Place des Arts adds a touch of cultural enrichment to our family outings. The architectural beauty and artistic surroundings create a vibrant atmosphere that sparks curiosity and appreciation. The staff's professionalism and the seamless organization of events contribute to the overall positive experience. Place des Arts isn't just a venue; it's a cultural haven that caters to various interests, making it a versatile and cherished spot in Montreal. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality entertainment and a cultural escape in the heart of the city.

Go there during the day to see theatrical plays. Go there at night to see lights dancing in the mesmerizing lighting romance. The must-see when you visit Montreal.

It's an underground maze connecting different buildings and the metro. Beautifully designed building with various interactive exhibits. Some are accessible after you pay for admission. Kudos to creativity! Some additional kiosks could be opened up - long queue to get in.

A wonderful, vibrant, pedestrian thoroughfare with plenty of shopping, dining options, and cultural attractions. The Museum of Contemporary Art is a must see. After dark the nighttime comes alive, setting Montreal ablaze with electronic color and moving images broadcast on highrises. The atmosphere is light and merry, featuring good clean fun. All ages, races, and various walks of life gather and play in the super fountain illuminated in gorgeous multicolor. Just beyond the fountain, teenagers energetically show off their dance skills like professionals. I can't wait for summer 2022 so that I can return!!

I often going there if I dont know what to do in weekends. There're always some artistic/musical/other... things happening. Good place for children (fountains in the summer, light installations in winter). Near by St-Catherine street with all the shops, bars and restaurants.

One of my favorite venues. We saw The Musical Box, an amazing show! I took no other photos of the show. Few people did, the respect for the art was high, in the room. My review of the artist will be posted in their feeds. PDA, we will be back! The washrooms are nice and clean, the security was good.

Theatre Maisonneuve is a wonderful venue for dance, music and performance. Fantastic sound and space. Seats could be more comfortable and spaced out, otherwise very nice.

Recently went to a concert and my companion had a blast. The venue was wonderful and the bathrooms were clean. The staff was attentive and kind. It is accessible for people with reduced mobility as well, they have a ramp and elevators. 10/10.

Thank god for place des arts. Even during these pandemic times, going there still has this home coming feeling where you can share a safe and fun environment with friends, family, or even alone like i do. Art is the saviour of our souls. So do yourself a favor and go for a walk, have a hot chocolate and enjoy yourself.

I went for the Christmas market and was disappointed by how much it has changed over the years. There were no deer sculptures and the lights were scarce. I imagine covid plays a big role in the stands being so distanced from each other but it made it look so empty 🙁

There were nice outdoor activities during Montréal en Lumière! I liked them all, though I didn't get to try the small curling station or the skating one. I kind of wish there were more activities, though, thought the inside of the "zone" was not well exploited... It felt a little underwhelming, especially since our bags had to be searched and we had to show our vaccination passport. Still, it was nice and, for the most part, free.

Since day one of being in “Place Des Arts”, I felt connected to the place and everything I saw inside. I did not know that this place will be a major place in my special day, the “convocation day”. 6th of June was my convocation there and I am so glad that I graduated in that place inside a great big theatre and auditorium. Now this place is so special to my heart.

Saw "Come From Away", absolutely fantastic performance, really drew out multiple emotions, and plenty of laughter! Underground parking was well organized, the workers inside were friendly and helpful, and everything was incredibly clean! Would highly recommend seeing a show here!

The theatre was pretty big. Parking was easy and there was a lot of space. They told us though if we were late we would have to wait which does make sense since we went to see the nutcracker. There were a few breaks which let you get drinks and food (basically snacks) but in the theatre there was like a symphony of coughing (A LOT OF COUGHING) so I would advise that you wear a mask don’t know if it would help though.

The stage is huge and you get a good view no matter where you sit. The one down side is that there is no where to put your purse and the seats are really uncomfortable. We had our graduation ceremony there and it was painful to stay seated for 3 hours.

Art centers or complexes might feel like artificial creations to some, but Place des Arts in the center of Montreal is a location that is essential to the cultural environment of a city that prides itself for being the most art-oriented in Canada. Place des Arts brings together buildings that are dedicated to performance arts and others that house museums. Its open plazas are also a gathering point for Montrealers during the warmer months.

Place des beaux Arts - this place has been transformed into an interesting melting point for art, architecture and coming together. A must see in Montreal. There is a direct access to the Subway. Parking is also available but rather expensive.

It will be a glorious moment when we can once again go to see live performances in Montreal again. The theatres at the Place des Arts are probably the best venues for performances of all kinds. I have many pleasant memories of shows here and I hope that the future will provide many more once this plague has been lifted from la belle province.

It was our 3rd time going to the Just For Laughs Festival. We had gone once to see Jim Gaffigan, once to see the Patton Oswalt Gala, and more recently the Eddie Izzard Gala. They were all spectacular and we enjoyed all of the comedians. The parking was close and there was a food centre close by.

Went to see a Just for laughs show inside their Maisonneuve Theather, the staff was very accommodating considering I had a sprained ankle at the time. The show was great and the sound was perfect, not too loud and not too low. Great performance! Recommend going to see things at their theaters.

It's always a place a tired Montrealer can come and relax, watch the world slow down and admire the various exhibits. However, because of this, it does attract a large crowd, and coming here in the holidays during COVID restrictions would be ill-advised

Montreal really knows how to do Christmas lights and festivities. As you enjoy the market walk over and listen to the big whale and give the kids a go on the light up seesaw. This area often seems to have something fun going on. Highly recommend, especially for kids, the walk a few blocks to the old Ogilvys Christmas display exhibit outside the museum.
