Ended up here on a whim and loved it. Loved our waitress she was so sweet and seemed like she was the only one who took care of all the tables. I saw that her vest said employee of the month Then i saw everyone's vest said employee of the month 😆 The host was hilarious, along with some of the other stand-ups. Will definitely go back.

Coming here regularly for the laughs. Good quality and wide variety of stand-up comedians. Excellent value for money. Seats are not super comfortable but good enough for the 1h30 that the line up last for. Usually crowded but still managed to get two seats at a shared table last minute on a Friday night. PREVIOUS: Loved my experience at the Monday Mix there; 10 different stand ups that will range from chuckle worthy to belly laugh. Pleasantly surprised that even though we were a few minutes late got stage side seats. Service is as efficient as can be given a roomful and two waitresses. However both me and my friend were very disappointed by the mojito. It lacked both sugar and a detectable quantity of rum. They made it up by swapping it for a much more drinkable sangria when I asked but seemed very skeptical that I had ever drank a mojito... In the darkness I guess I looked like a 18 years old Bostonian coming to Montreal to drink legally for the first time. I would suggest sticking to the delicious 1642 colas. The ginger version has quite a good kick. Also wish they would lay off serving their cocktails with plastic straws. Turtles choking on plastic are no laughing matter.

When I discovered Comedy Nest for the first I was extremely excited. It was going to be my first live standup comedy experience. However, I’d seen so many off-the-charts shows on Netflix, YouTube and etc. that I wasn’t sure if a comedy club in Montreal would be able to hold a candle to them. Well, I couldn’t be more wrong. The fabulous comedians performing here, the great quality of the jokes, and the amazingly cozy ambiance of the club are the triangle of success at Comedy Nest. Today, I’ve lost count how many times I’ve been here, but I know I will always go back to enlighten my night and to get tremendous energy to go about my things in life. An absolute must for comedy fans!

If you’re wondering about whether to go, the answer is yes. Sadly, I had not been since pre-Covid. The person in charge of our tickets had booked for the night before. The super delightful and competent host at the door, put us at ease and found a nook for us. Every single comedian that got up was funny. Our cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling. Great value for 12$. I can’t think of anything else you can do for so little money that can bring so much pleasure. The drinks are very reasonably priced. Gin & tonic is 10$. It could not be cheaper. The waitstaff deserves a separate review because they’re so good. This place is located in the old forum. Cheap indoor parking. Ride the elevator up to the 3rd floor. It was packed so reserve if you can.

Absolutely loved it. We went for the wednesday night show and had arrally good laugh. The line-up with varied and really profesh. We then went back for round 2 on the friday night for the 10pm show. Smaller crowd but the same anount of laughs. Service was really nice and prices fair. Definitely going back on my next visit to Montréal!

Love this place! Good service, good vibes. It's too bad you have to walk so far to get to a bathroom though.

Great time; great entertainment. My wife & I were visiting Montreal from Philadelphia. Very pleasant surprise! The Comedy Nest Comedy club, 2nd floor, English-speaking, easy to reach (across the street from the Atwater Metro subway station) inside of the Forum cinema entertainment complex, veteran professional comics, nice beverage and snack prices. While waiting for our showtime we did eat at the on-site A&W Restaurant since it is attached and indoors. Huge movie multiplex on the first floor. Great night outing and most def easy on the wallet. There is no such thing as a bad date night whenever you go to a great comedy club!!

The best comedy club in montreal, I have been to over 10 shows and there hasn’t ever been one I didn’t enjoy. The waitressing staff is organized and quick, as well as super helpful! Some drinks are 8$ tax included, affordable considering montreals cocktails run at 15$ + tax now. Theres also paid parking lots around and usually street parking at night. Will always be my number 1 choice for a comedy show!

Just happened to be in Montreal and decided to check this out. So glad I did! One of the best nights in town. The comedians are hilarious and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The server was so accommodating and made sure we had a great time. I cannot recommend it enough. Their comedian line up is fantastic!

Best bang for you buck here!! $15 a ticket for the late show and 5 acts! Small, little grungy comedy space (perfect!!) No bad seat in the house. Limited menu (don’t plan to eat) but really all you need, couple of cold drink options and some popcorn. My only *thing is not on them but the location - good luck finding the bathroom 🤣 The club is upstairs in a mall and the bathroom is up more stairs and not marked at the opposite end! Add this to your list of ways to experience your time in Montreal and without breaking the bank.

Went to The Comedy Nest for the first time last Thursday and my girlfriend and I had a good time at a very reasonable price. Only complaint is that the bathroom is across the mall and drink options are a bit limited and pricey. Otherwise, the service was good. Definitely a nice place to go for a date.

The Nest is one of my favourite places to perform in Canada! The owners are terrific people, the headliners are always did, and the waitstaff is very kind. I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone!

Went on a whim and really enjoyed it. Drinks a bit pricey and not much selection but good enough to have a drink while watching the show. Definitely understaffed but we still got billed promptly, no waiting around. Small venue but comfortable enough. The bathroom is outside the venue on the other side of the building meaning you miss more of the show than you would if there was one inside. Overall totally worth the ticket cost.

This was an unusual experience. The server literally made it awesome. They were friendly and welcoming. It's a little space in a retail venue that doesn't have washrooms on the same floor. Crowded and a bit cumbersome. Oh yeah, comedy was good too.

Easily accessible venue, big enough with a cozy feel, good service and laughs. The menu offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Would love to see kombucha on the menu.

Headliner was not funny at all and it seemed he was not prepared. I wanted to laugh! I will check mor thorough who is on that night from now on. Party of 4, we didn’t laugh the last 1/2 hour of the show.

Great, nice staff. Eat lots before you go, they only have popcorn and nachos, no other food or snacks.

Always a great time. Popcorn or nachos, beer or cocktails, and hilarious comedians. My only critique would be that they could have comfier chairs but really you won't know if you're sore from the seats or laughing so hard.

Excellent place to have some fun with friends and listen to some good jokes. The stand uppers aren't the same every time which is nice, although I've seen a couple from other show I attended at the same place. The staff is very kind and respectful Would totally recommend

This place is so humble, friendly, cozy and fun. The staff is always amazing. Great laughs, always. Try it out if you're ever in Montreal! It makes for a fun night out with lots of good restaurants nearby to eat at before or after the show. Very affordable. Enjoy!

Great fun on a Saturday night. Top-notch performance from all six comedians and quick service of drinks from the bar. The location of this comedy club seems a bit off at first (3rd floor in an entertainment complex), but we forgot about that as soon as we sat down and the jokes and drinks started to roll in.

This was an outstanding experience. We first met Lyle at the door who was professional with an amazing smile. Our M.C. was Wassim El-Mounzer. He had us laughing between each act. We then saw Geoffrey Applebaum, Francois Bellefeuille, Paul Balyot. They each had the audience laughing in their own way. We then had our headliner D.C. Benny. He had a great set, and used great Canadian references. We laughed through the show. This is not to be missed. We will return soon. Everyone needs a laugh and the Comedy Nest delivers.

Great place to go for lots of laughs with friends! The servers are definitely all Best Employees of the Month! And the cocktails are super sweet (just how I like them). They have great entry specials for different days and if you’re a student. I’d highly recommend checking this place out!

  • 5/5 Gabrielle B. 2 years ago on Google
The set up is nice, it feels cozy without being in the face of the comedians. Staff was very nice, I did not like the drink I ordered and they removed it from my bill. I like that they offer popcorn too!
