Amazing local coffee spot located inside the Burton store! Passed by today to buy some coffee beans and accessories for a gift, and I could not be happier with the service received. The few times I’ve been, staff here have always been kind, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about their products and all things coffee. Fresh tasting coffee (with samples!) and decent selection of coffee making accessories. A true hidden gem!

located inside the burton store, found this gem during morning community running club! ( @le6amclub on instagram) staff is super knowledgeable on everything coffee related. definitely a must for coffee lovers. and if you aren’t you’ll probably become one 😂 also they have these loyalty stamp card (like mcdo, calem, strom spa etc, 11th beverage free! )

Can’t say anything bad about this coffee. The price is good, the pourovers were good (even tho I haven’t tried the ones from the new barista yet), the beans are wonderful ! It’s just a good place to chill and feel welcomed far away from busy cafes ! I haven’t been a coffee that feels calm like that for a while and totally forgot about them even existing haha.

This place is unreal. First time there today — the barista must have a PhD in coffee.. So knowledgeable!! Nice selection of beans. Will be back for sure!!

Best coffee shop in town, no doubt about it, possibly the best coffee shop I have visited around the world. An absolute must-visit for those that like coffee. Service is top of the world too, and I am not exaggerating. Try it out yourself.

An amazing spot truly. This guy knows + loves his coffee more than anyone I have ever come across. A true artisan - great conversation while he creates and I learned a lot. Oh and the result was an amazing Flash Brew 👌 Will be back every time I am in Griffintown.

Really enjoyed my visit to Escape Lab. Wolfie is very talented in his craft and knowledgeable. I end up not only getting a very good cup of coffee but also buying coffee beans. For true coffee enthusiasts I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I stumbled upon Escape Lab during our walk back to our Old Montreal hotel. We are coffee fanatics so of course we went inside. Thirty minutes later we walked out with two incredible flash brew coffee and a bag of beans. We had the nicest time learning about the variety of beans along with tips and suggestions of places to go and things to do while visiting Montreal. I wish we had asked for the awesome person’s name. If you’re reading this, thank you for an incredible experience!

Escape Coffee Roaster offers free in-store pickup if you purchase from their website. Their coffee is amazing and really allows the different coffee to shine through with their light to medium roasting style. I especially enjoyed the Triple A yirgacheffe. The latte while in store was absolutely delicious and the barista was so welcoming and charmingly nice. Will definitely come back again!

The best coffe shop in Griffin town, these guys put a love in how they prepare your coffe. There's a super chill and cool vibe in the store. Don't get fooled by the store it self THIS is the place for you real coffe needs.

The barista Woofy was personable and friendly, and passionate and knowledgeable about coffee. My friend and I hung out a little longer just to chat with him and the in-house roaster. They happened to be testing out their new roasts, and offering out samples to guests which we took advantage of. Because of the limited seating, I would not recommend this cafe for private conversations, but I would absolutely recommend a visit for anyone who likes artisan coffee and is down for a chill, "hip" atmosphere. Constructive note: The taste-testing method seemed less than sanitary, and should probably be reviewed. Thanks so much Woofy and Escape Lab for everything, will certainly be back with friends.
