This is the best paella we had ever had, period. Chef Mariano definitely uses the good ingredients to make the paella and prepare every dish with such flair. The rice was crispy at the bottom of the pan, but not too sticky that you had to "work" to get it off the pan. There were enough seafood in the mix, giving the dish much complex flavor. The salad was excellent, and the calamari was great as well. We definitely come back when we are in this area again...

Wow! I absolutely loved the squid ink paella as well as their ham and cod fish croquette! They take about 20 min to prepare the paella so you know that it’s definitely made fresh to order and it was very flavourful and filling. The service was also very good, the server who took care of us was very kind and attentive to us. I’d highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious! My roommate brought me here to win an argument (what kind of food was the best) and this alone convinced me all the way, Spanish is #1! (He's from Spain and also said it was incredible)

Montreal Paella is my favorite restaurant in the city! The staff goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service and ensure that our meal exceeds expectation. And it always does! Chef Mariano and his team put care and love into every dish they create which is reflected in the depth and layered nuances of the flavors. Rarely do I dream about food, but I dream about this food. If you live in, or are visiting, Montreal I can't recommend this restaurant more highly. Each dish is truly a sensory delight.

Definitely a must visit!! Paella is so flavorful and one of the best I’ve ever had. The gambas was so fragrant and delicious. We asked for a second serving of bread to soak it all up! Gazpacho and flan were also very yummy. Came here twice during our trip :)

Best Spanish restaurant in Canada. This is one of the best paella you can try in the world. Real Spanish food in a great atmosphere and exquisite service. Can’t wait to visit Montreal again to enjoy this awesome restaurant. You won’t regret to stop by to try it. As a Spaniard foodie, can’t emphasize enough how good this place is.

We stumbled upon this place and so glad we did. The staff is really pleasant. I ordered the chicken paella for one and was told that it would take 25 minutes to be ready. They make it fresh, I’m assuming. The paella is served hot in a mini paella pan and looked and tasted delicious, it came with a chicken drumstick and a thigh. The rice and the chicken were very flavorful. At the end, as we were scraping the rice bits stuck to the pan, I was wanting more. We were sharing the paella, as we were looking for a light dinner. Portion size is good for one, they have other sizes for two/ larger groups as well. I wish I had ordered the seafood paella, which is more typical, may be next time.

Great food, better than some restaurants in Spain, you must try pa amb tomàquet and paella, TOP. The chef takes care of the food and the customers. The service is simply amazing.

Even though it was very busy and one large group was super loud, this restaurant was fantastic. The owners are fantastic: warm, considerate, attentive. The atmosphere is modern and clean feeling. The food was inCREDible. The croquettes melt in your mouth and are creamy and delicious. Jamón Iberico and Bacalao (cod) were excellent choices. The paella. I can’t express how something as seemingly simple as rice gives me chills just recollecting it. The black rice was mind-blowing—I wish we had ordered two servings. The mixta paella was scrumptious. I need to go back and experience that again.

I cannot eat Paella anywhere else. We visit Montreal at least once or twice a year and this is our non-negotiable. We always order the Tomato bread, Garlic Shrimp and usually the Chicken and Mushroom Paella. All of the paellas are delicious, we just love mushrooms. The service is the best! We can’t wait to come back:)

Coming from Spain, our expectations about spaniard food are high. Oh well; Montreal Paella just accomplished with a very good grade. The patatas bravas are authentic, the croquetas are to die for, you can tell the chef uses the best prime materials to make them. The Jamón ibérico croqueta is excellent. We coluldn’t get over it so we had to order 2 more at the end. The paella del senyoret is very tasty so the Fideuà. We got to try the gazpacho and was also very good. If you want to get a taste of spanish food without leaving Canada, this is your place! We will be back! Hasta luego!

Had an incredible dinner at this restaurant. Went with my wife my toddler and the staff were unbelievably friendly and accommodating. They had a high chair all ready. Interior design is very cool with high tables and pantry items to purchase. The food was so delicious and better than some of the dishes we've had in Spain. We ordered the croquettes (a must get), the omelette with patatas, and the paella mixta! The staff even provided an off menu white asparagus dish that was superb. The paella was packed with goodies from squid, chicken, mussels and shrimp. Every bite was different and delicious. For the quality of food and the quality of the staff, this place is a steal. Next time we will try the Valencia paella.

Street parking. A few high top tables. Order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Several paella options. I love the individual portions so everyone can try what they want. Fried calamari and patatas bravas apetizers were delicious. My friend's seafood paella looked amazing. My vegetable paella was ok. I like the burnt rice at the bottom most and it wasn't there 😅 The waitress was very attentive and noticed I picked out the cauliflower and told me I can ask the kitchen to not put any next time. Will come back to try different paellas.

Delicious paella but slightly on the saltier side and decent portions. Clean and warm ambiance, the mixed paella is a great option; tender and very flavourful chicken.

Third time here. Still ordered the rice because that’s my favourite. Don’t just stick to rice because other meals are wonderful, too. So today I ordered Flan to try if it’s good. The results made my day, this is the best Flan I every ate and I am not a fan of desserts. I would spend all my day here if they could offer some coffee and add more tables. 🤯🤩🥳🥺《= my look while eating the Flan. UvU..

Excellent Spanish place, the best in Montreal, the attention from its owners is the best, especially the attention of chef Mariano, typical Spanish food, it is necessary to go to eat several times to be able to taste the entire menu. the octopus is amazing.

If you ever have a big event and want something amazing and different , you NEED to try this . The experience was great , from the service to the food . Placed the order on the phone and they were already so amical and helpful. I ordered the paella Mariscos for 10 ppl. It was freshly made and done exactly at the pick up time . They even brought it to my car. It was a huge and was bigger than we thought. Everyone at the party absolutely loved the paella . It was flavorful and FULL OF SEAFOOD. The calamari melted in your mouth . Definitely will try the other types of paella .

A bit of Spain in the middle of Montreal. There are a limited number of seats but it fits the airy and quaint atmosphere nicely, allowing for an enjoyable dining experience for all. The food was perfect. I went with a group of 6 who all got different dishes and we loved each one. The chef came out to help the waitress place our paellas on these beautiful porcelain tiles (found in part of their decor too). The care put into the service matched the food for an all around delightful, wholesome meal.

The best paella in town hands down! The Valenciana paella and squid ink paella are a must.

Loved my experience here so much!!! The croquetas are to die for. We ordered a paella mixta and a squid ink paella. So nice that they make small portions of paella. I wish I never got full so that I could try everything on the menu. Also so happy they sell bellota chorizo which is hard to find in Montreal. Will absolutely be back soon. Thank you so much

Recently dined at Montreal Paella and it was a paella lover’s dream. The paella was a flavor explosion with perfectly cooked rice and a delightful mix of seafood and chicken. (I had the Mixta paella) But let’s talk about those croquetas—crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and so addictive I couldn’t stop eating. The service was top-notch, and the authentic vibe made it a standout experience. If you’re into paella, this place is a must-visit. I practically rolled out, happily stuffed.
