Very nice creative design hotel. There is no employees on site but access is easy. The design of the common area and the room is really special and not everyone will like it. I loved it and the cool factor is way up there. The real downside for me is the pricing. It looks very cheap at around 150$ a night but you have multiple charges like cleaning at 80$ a night that is not advertised. So I paid around 270$ for one night and I don't think it's worth it. If you are staying multiple nights and only pay once the cleaning fee then it's reasonably price. What really made that I won't go back is when I realized that I didn't carefully read the small print, I tried to canceled within 5 minutes and it was almost automatically declined. That is very short term thinking and not somewhere I want to do business with.

The David Hotel is nothing less than exemplary! The customer service top tier! Amenities is great and willing to supply additional supplies if needed. Room was spacious, lots of fridge space, oven, stove, microwave you have absolutely everything you need! I would certainly come back as it was clean, roomy, and all our needs were met! I highly recommend. The location is also great as everything is walking distance!

Check-in via email and app was smooth and easy. The room is well appointed, modern minimal esthetic, very clean and has all the necessities thoughtfully provided for a great stay. It was quiet at night and well located for walking in Old Montreal and the other downtown areas. Loads of options for cafes and restaurants nearby. Their service desk via phone was prompt, friendly and helpful.

We loved every minute of our stay. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The washer and dryer in the room was a HUGE bonus!

Out stay at David Hotel was beautiful. Absolutely adored our experience in the old Montreal. The staff is lovely and went above and beyond for our comfort. Good spot to settle for a few days and enjoy the city life.

We stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Old Port Montreal. It is great to have access to laundry (with detergent), dishwasher, stove top, oven, microwave, and all the cutlery and utensils we need. The thoughtful room slippers were a nice touch as well! The boarding pass was easy to use. We parked at Stationnement Indigo Montreal - 500 Places d'Armes for $16/24h on the weekend and $25/24h on the weeknight, which was a quick 4 min walk. Everything at David was clean and quiet. And walkable to boutiques and good restaurants. Thanks so much for the lovely stay!

Amazing weekend getaway in perfect location to wander between hotel and restaurants eating our way around old Montréal. Room was clean , spacious and comfy and would stay again in a heartbeat! I really can't express adequately how much we loved this place! * Only note for hotel would be that bathrobes and slippers were very small and we are not very large people at 5'4" and 5'8" a piece, and only one pair of slippers was provided. No big deal really, just thought it might be worth a mention.

The David Hotel was so attractive online, especially with its price and excellent location, steps from the old town area of Montreal. Although the room was wonderfully clean and contemporary, the finishes were surprisingly austere, with the shower situation feeling a bit like camping out. However, the bed was super comfy with wonderful linens, plenty of towels, upscale toiletries, and a well thought out kitchen as well as a mega washer and dryer, complete with detergent for your stay. We absolutely loved the creative lighting! Our room was quiet with good room darkening curtains. They even provide a scale in the room, which is great when one is traveling. The staff were very responsive and friendly, especially to those of us who were a bit overwhelmed by the online instructions on everything about the room, and willing to help at every turn. All in all, a GREAT choice for visiting Montreal.

We booked the hotel for friends of ours. They had an amazing time. The check in was so easy, the instructions were very detailed. I called them on the way and the staff was so helpful. We were looking at the room when we dropped them off and we also loved it. Very clean, modern, everything and really everything you need is there. The location is great as well. Everything within walking distance. Its very central but still a quiet side street. If we ever visit Montreal again we definitely will book this Hotel. 100% recommended. Thank you for the fantastic experience our friends had. Sonja Guests: Martina and Jasmin

This is one of those buildings that was renovated to be a sort of spooky-cool hotel self-service deals. Nobody is there but the guests. The room was great, the hallways are painted dark colors and sort of funny, like the light fixtures are hands holding bulbs. The room was clean and.the location was good.

Amazing experience. Contactless check-in with very detailed instructions. The building is awesome and the units even better. Super clean, extremely modern and minimalistic aesthetic, amazing lighting, AC, plenty of clean towels, storage, and pretty much everything you need is there. The location is great, in the middle of the Old Port but on a quiet side. Will definitely come back. 100% recommended.

Beautiful rooms and great location in the heart of Old Montreal. Rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. Netflix was a nice plus. Self-check in process is professional simple. Guides provided by the hotel are super helpful.

The David Hotel is in a fabulous location, the rooms are equipped with top notch appliances and they are fully stocked with dishes, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils, and the bed is extremely comfortable. Only complaint ( and it’s minor ) towels could be a better quality, and it would have helped to know that the guest was expected to request extra toilet paper, coffee, dishwasher tabs etc whenever needed as there are no cleaning/tidying services during the whole of your stay

We loved staying at The David Hotel at Old Montréal. It’s a very sexy loft and it has everything, except a clock. It’s really meant for you to relax and forget time for a bit. It felt like an apartment and the convenience of having a washer and dryer is a MAJOR plus! I will pack very light next time!

My husband and I stayed in a loft at David Hotel for 5 days late September and it was wonderful! The location is fantastic- close to the metro and old port, but the street the hotel is on is far enough away from the action so it was quiet. It made it very easy to explore town. I really enjoyed having access to a kitchen with literally every utensil under the sun. We were able to shop at the market and make a nice meal with the local bounty. The room itself is large and comfortable and everything is well marked. So much storage! The Wifi is fast and I did not mind the self checkin/check out process one bit. My only complaint is, I wish there was on-site or more convenient luggage storage. The hotel has a partnership with luggagehero, but the available locations were very far from the hotel. So, despite the generous discount code, we were unable to take advantage of it due to logistics. With that said, I would still stay at David again for my next trip to Montreal.

Literally everything about this hotel was stunning, inviting, comfortable and practical. The room had a fully furnished kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, lovely aesthetic and the location in the Old Port is just fantastic. The service, despite being no contact, was incredible and the proprietors were incredibly accommodating! Will DEFINITELY go back!

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. It's centrally located to downtown and Old Montreal. Our room was beautifully decorated. I wish we had more time to stay to take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen. I had a few minor issues: the keyless entry is a pain, the drapes are difficult to open and close and the hallway was too dark, but these issues didn't detract from our overall experience.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Quirky, Clean, lovely beds plenty of clean towels etc & some nice touches ie Alexa echo dot! Perfect position for Montreal Old town. Lots of lovely restaurants bars etc. Would highly recommend. Only down point would be we couldn’t get the address for where to leave the luggage in the locker until we had booked it & we couldn’t work out which was nearest for us to book! Having a late flight the following day & having to check out & 11a.m with no where to leave our luggage was a pain! But still gets 5 stars from us.

The David Hotel was amazing. I stayed here for my birthday and could not have been happier with the room. The layout is spacious and the look is very lux modern with a twist. The loft is great and has everything you’d need. They really thought of everything. I also liked the self check in process, along with everything being accessed on your phone. Would 10/10 recommend and stay here again. The area it is in is also very walkable and close to the metro. The architecture is beautiful.

David Hotel is right in Old Montreal steps from restaurants, shops and a bakery. Short walk from the train station. Very comfortable and impeccably maintained. Suite had a fully equipped kitchen. Large screen tv, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Everything you need for short or long stay. Definitely recommended. Exactly as described

Fantastic loft suite! Extremely well equipped even with a washer/dryer. No parking at the hotel but we found a safe and secure underground lot at a great price ($80) on rue Notre Dame. Beware of scam artists in parking lots! We were quoted $180 for two nights at the lot suggested by the hotel. Highly recommend David Hotel Montreal.

David Hotel in Montreal was our home way from home! Stylish, practical, comfortable - with everything you need. Our loft had an entire kitchen (plus dishes & utensils) dishwasher and laundry units, seating and more. They clearly know the little things that travellers forget, and how to design a place you’ll want to come back to again. Location is as fabulous, very walkable to all sites you’d want to see. Fantastic.

It is good if you prefer to interact with technology rather than humans as it appears to be remotely managed. No front desk…all self check in through a glitchy web application. Honestly I didn’t mind the 9 digit unit entry code and lack of housekeeping during a 5 night stay given the nice rooms and decent location. What bothered me was the process for trying to get a late check out. I sent a request through the app 2 days into my stay. Did not get a response until the morning of my check out only after messaging them directly. I had to put in my credit card info when I made the request (it was not a simple process to request). They said I would need to put my credit info again to get the late check out. I was unable to do this due to technical issues that were not resolved after speaking with someone on the phone. They said they could not take the credit card info by phone but it had to be done via app that stopped working. Of note, I had already given them this information on the app twice previously, but this time it was not working. Tried refreshing multiple times without luck. The place is fine until you run into a problem as the customer service is worse than nonexistent. Wasted 20 minutes on day of departure trying to pay for a 1 hour late check out that I couldn’t even get due to technical issues.

We spent three nights at the David Hotel in Old Montreal and remarked the whole time what a great location it was. We were able to leave our car in a local lot and walk everywhere. There are numerous sights and restaurants so close to the hotel that even when it was pouring with rain, it was still convenient to things to do. Through the whole process of reserving the room and checking in, the David was very communicative and provided a ton of information about how things in the loft worked. The vibe in the loft was very cool and was very well appointed. While everyone knows David, the David Hotel showed itself to know how to take care of its customers as well.

Perfect location in Old Montreal! So close to all of the great restaourants and bars but half a block away from the noise so our stay was quite quiet relative to other hotels in the area. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. The in room laundry was very handy and the kitchen was well equipped. Our only advice would be to add a few wine glasses to the cupboard. we will definitely be back on our next visit.

Easily one of the most convenient hotels we have ever stayed at. The location, amenities, cleanliness, size, security, and everything you consider important when staying at a hotel was on point at the David Hotel. The rooms are basically studio apartment suites that are fully stocked with everything you could possibly need which just made our overall stay so much easier and less costly. We will be visiting again!

The loft is beautiful, very clean! We called to drop off our bags prior to check-in time and they were really accommodating and nice. Self check-in is a breeze, all the info you need is in the email they send an hour before check-in. Location is great, about a 7-10 min walk to the Big Wheel. Plenty of cafes and shops around to sight see. The shower was a little tricky to figure out and there was no curtain, so keep that in mind. Would definitely go back 😁

David hotel is a gem among the many boutique hotels in this area. Exactly as the pictures show, very clean with everything we needed thoughtfully included. Loved the design, comfort and lighting, not to mention superb location close to great restaurants and cafes. Check-in and check out experience was smooth. The codes are emailed to you well before.

Very modern & clean interior, loved the design and open concept, just like in the pictures. My stay was very pleasant. I ended up loosing jewelry behind one of the night stands which is fixed to the bed and floor. The maintenance crew went through an ordeal to recover the item for me and administration mailed it to me after while keeping me updated the entire time (thanks Mary and Marouchka!). I will definitely chose this hotel during my next visit and recommend it to all my friends !

Hi, We booked a room at the David Hotel for my Boyfriend's Birthday and had some Friends over. Although we had music a bit too loud, David Hotel was very compromising with us. The Room was really beautiful and clean. We appreciate David Hotel's customer service and gentleness with us. I highly recommend this Hotel as the location is perfect and the Hotel is super clean, has a modern twist and luxurious feel. We highly recommend. Hassani and Anne Marie

Super comfortable accommodations and perfectly located in the heart of old Montreal. Easy access to downtown and the highway. Around the corner from restaurants, historical sites and bike path. There is everything you need in the room, fridge, cookware, dishwasher and even washer and dryer. Easy check in and access to the property. Easy support via text messages for help or questions during our stay. Nespresso coffee in the room was delicious. Bed and pillows super comfortable. Highly recommended

Hotel David location is perfect! The room was very clean and had many details that made us feel like we were at home, including house coats, slippers and the most amazing toiletries that made you feel like you were pampered at a spa everytime you showered. The kitchen is well stocked with necessities so all you need to do is stop at a market and grab your groceries. The temperature control in the room was the best I have experienced. The BED!!! I have never slept so good in a comfy bed! We loved that we had an in suite washer and dryer as we could wash up our clothes before heading off to Quebec City. Easy no contract checkin and everything was seamless! So quiet as we could only hear people opening their doors but never heard a sound when we were in our unit. We loved it and will only stay at Hotel David in the future.

The David was wonderful! It was spacious, modern, and VERY clean. The lighting was amazing with so many options for ambiance. Thoughtful amenities were provided, the olive oil was especially welcome as we do cook on vacation! The full size washer and dryer were very welcome as no housekeeping is available. I would suggest a couple of things, however: A hook on the side of the vanity for the hand towel, an additional outlet on the spacious island to use as a work surface and some sand or grit on the shower floor as it is very slippery. The David set the bar for excellence so high that we were terribly disappointed in the accommodations we chose on the next leg of our trip in Quebec.

This place is something else! A unique and spotless hotel in the perfect location. Our loft was big and beautiful, the bed so comfy, and I loved the signature scent of the soaps and shower products provided...they smell amazing! The ensuite washer/dryer was a bonus too. We had the best stay...will absolutely return, and recommend!

Not really a hotel, more like short/long-term stay apartments. No concierge or amenities but we enjoyed it! The design is beautiful, and everything is clean and comfortable. Location is great. Would stay here again. Highly recommend Olive & Gourmando nearby for breakfast.

We loved our stay! The location was very conveniently located, the rooms were spacious and modern. The only difficulty we had was checking in originally. Since I didn’t have wifi/service internationally, I didn’t receive the “check in/boarding pass” email with the passcode information. Luckily some super friendly guests helped me figure it out :) Thanks David!

David Hotel is the eye-catching one when we explored our hotel options in Montreal. Very glad we chose them because it is a really pleasant experience from check-in to check-out. We love the interior designs--modern and quite thoughtful and enjoy the whole broad space (around 56sqm) fully to us. Everything is neat and clean. Instructions on check-in/out are clear. Location is great-close to Notre Dame Church, City Hall, Place Jacques-Cartier, etc. David Hotel is great for couples, friends, and small family. Tips: Street parking is allowed during night and it's free after 9pm until next day 9am.

WOW. What a contrast to another place I stayed in Montreal with a similar concept (starts with the letter S). The David is EXACTLY like the pictures. HUGE loft which I really enjoyed, sparkling clean with all the amenities that you need. The service is efficient too - the first day my shower was flooding, I texted the concierge and they fixed same day. Only changes might be a shorter door code for the room, it was a big absurdly long. Loved my stay and will be back next time I'm in Montreal.

Wow!! This has such a modern feel, yet in an older building. Once you receive their check in email you get a code and a wealth of information. The unit is very clean and well stocked. Centrally located for easy walks through Old Montreal. A 13 minute walk to the train station and 15 minutes to the Bell Centre. Pricing is very reasonable. Communication prior to booking was personal and helpful. We highly recommend.

We were very happy with our 2 night stay at Hotel David in August 2022. The room was HUGE! Very comfortable king size bed. Loved the full kitchen and washer dryer. Very clean. Modern. Quiet. Easy to check in. Easy walk to restaurants, stores and sites. Recommend!!!

Definitely a great spot to stay in for solo or couples. The location was easy to find. The room was clean and comfy. Very sustainably friendly. Kinda pricey but I thought it was worth it. Very secure place, no issues traveling as a solo woman of color. Would stay again. I will say, the shower is in the room, no door or privacy. So I think this place is best for solo travels or couples or friends comfy with each other lol.

My recent stay at the David Hotel in Old Montreal was an absolute delight. The hotel's modern rooms were a highlight, providing a comfortable and stylish retreat. The location in the heart of Old Montreal was perfect, offering easy access to the city's iconic attractions and vibrant neighbourhood's. Additionally, the convenience of self check-in made the process seamless. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, offering helpful recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the David Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a contemporary and well-located hotel in Montreal.

Good morning! What a wonderful experience at "The David"! I chose this hotel for the location, very walkable from here, and because I'm married to "David!!" Clean, fresh, comfortable and private. A lovely change from the typical hotel. John, Mary and Jamie were professional and kind! All our questions were answered and great advice was dispensed. I know we will return and this will be our destination. Thank you for everything! Deborah and David Behan

The place looks just like the photos. It’s beautiful, comfortable and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is amazing. Walking distance from pretty much all major sights in old Montreal. Communication with the host was quick and the extra coffee pods were a great touch. Definitely recommend it. Thanks for a great stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the David Hotel for the duration of our first trip to Canada. We were immediately impressed by the cleanliness and charm of the room. It is unique and welcoming with every amenity you could ask for. We didn’t interact with any staff in person but we still felt cared for as there were many resources given to us upon booking, and they were very polite and professional when we contacted them with questions. Location is great on a quiet street that is within walking distance of many amazing sites. We couldn’t asked for a better or more welcoming experience!

My boyfriend and I stayed at David Hotel in Montreal this past weekend (Oct 7-9) and we had an amazing time. The hotel was beautiful, perfect location, close to everything, very clean, and very comfortable. No negative things to say. Will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Montreal.
