I really enjoyed my wonderful week in the Alpine French School. I was surprised by how much I learned, even though its been so many years since I tried to learn French before! I was the oldest in the class (by a long shot, I'm 77!) yet I never felt any different from any of the other delightful students. Natalie, our teacher, was the soul of patience, yet never wasted a minute, explaining everything, several times - in French - if my face was showing signs of being 'lost'. Our lessons and exercises were relevant and fun to do, and the three hours each morning flew past. The school itself is very well run, Katy and Grace are friendly and efficient and any queries etc are dealt with quickly. Its a wonderful school which I so enjoyed, while my two small grandchildren were just down the road, in the children's summer school where they had fun and a great experience too. Thank you all at the Alpine School. I do hope to come back again some day as I have so many lovely memories of the school and Morzine too.

A bit disappointed with the programme for my 6 year old which was “creative activities” on four afternoons and woodworking on one (the latter was great). She had a good time playing with friends but it wasn’t worth the 600 euro cost and certainly wasn’t what was advertised (I’d expected swimming, orienteering, high ropes etc). The programme for the week after was massively better. By contrast Adventure Plus was excellent and well worth the cost.

The Alpine French School is just fabulous. My children and I spent four weeks here in July/August. I was lucky enough to have Nathalie as my teacher, who is a superstar and helped me progress so much during the month. I loved it all! The children both enjoyed their lessons (they just did mornings) and we're really pleased with how much French they now understand. Our 9 year old especially is able to converse with us so much more than before.

my 3 kids did 2 weeks of camp at Alpine French school this summer. It was a great experience for them, they all enjoyed it a lot. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The afternoon activities are really fun, especially for the older kids group. the only thing i think can make the camp even better is the teacher in the younger kid group would speak more French than English to make it a more immersive experience. overall we’re very happy with their camp, would love to come back! Merci beaucoup!

My two eldest children spent a week at the Alpine French Summer School in August and - despite an initial reluctance to go to school during their summer holidays - both agreed that it was a great experience. They've both really gained in confidence and are much more inclined to use their French during our subsequent travels in France.

I spent a month in Morzine at the Alpine French School, and I highly recommend it. The teachers are great, and the staff is great! I was already at high level of French before I went, and even so, my level improved a lot over four weeks.

My boys, 8 and 5, spent two weeks at this camp over July & August. Both had a lot of fun; my oldest really enjoyed the Adventure Camp that took place in the afternoon (my youngest wasn't quite old enough to join - but wanted to!). We would definitely return again; Morzine is such a wonderful place to visit with a family! (Just note that the camp takes place at École Sainte Marie, a different location than the Alpine French School - if that helps with choosing accommodation)

Our children just spent a week at their summer adventure camp. They all enjoyed their time. The teachers did a great job and the activities were entertaining. Every time we brought up an issue or concern they took care of it quickly. I think attending the first week of the summer allows for hiccups as things get sorted, so if you are only going to do one week don’t do the first one. The activities available for the youngest weren’t the greatest and didn’t involve much adventure. Our youngest was able to join the older group. There was a bit of what was advertised on the internet wasn’t available, so make sure to ask clarifying questions. Our kids are already talking about coming back next year. It seems like a lot of families do more than one week. We weren’t sure about it for the first year but wish we would have done 2-4 weeks for the kids to really get to know the language and other children. Thanks for a great week!
