I have been a patient at St Kilda Road Medical for many years and it was a very good practice with some great doctors, staff and processes. In recent times the processes have become so very disappointing. I’m just a number now.

Had such a lovely experience at this clinic. Great staff, especially the nurse Victoria. She seemed to have such comprehensive knowledge about wound care and she answered all of my millions of questions! Such a helpful and gorgeous lady who seemed to genuinely care about my health, how I felt and my progress. Also amazing with kids too. Thank you Victoria and the team at Modern Medical :)

I made an appointment with Dr Kevin Sadhu for a skin check. From the very first call with Jamie Lee I was impressed by their friendliness and professionalism. Kevin was incredibly thorough and I feel like I’m in good hands. Everyone at the office was delightful and caring. Very happy to have found the St Kilda Medical Centre

It is a ridiculous clinic. And please attention Jarnie Zhu. The worst doctor I have met. On June 5th, I came to here. At that time, I am terrible situation. I felt throat pain, and have allergies before. Then Jarnie Zhu said need me do lots of tests, even blood. So she did not do anything. Then she try to let me come in next day to do a test because she has not time. She schedule another doctor for me, and charge me as long therapy. Today is Almost the end of the June, and I did not got anything notification about my test is have result or not. They let me have over 5 tests and until now I have any response. I have to call them to ask my test result whether they are ready. And a lady charge me 68 dollar to tell me, they only have my lunge X ray result and is fine. They don’t care patients. Only want to let people test and earn money. I used to see doctor in other clinic. They will send patient notification if patient have result and need to have appointment with doctor. So no any excuses. So now, almost a month, no any therapy suggestions, no result notification and even no any relieve plan at the first time. She said she not sure. And they try to let patient call to ask whether have result every time and cost 68 dollar every time. And said don’t have.

We had an excellent first appointment with Dr Sepideh Rouhi. We immediately felt comfortable and valued as patients. Dr Rouhi is a great listener and gave great professional medical advice in a clear and detailed way. We think we have found our new favourite doctor for our children and ourselves.

My husband and I have been patients at the St Kilda Rd Medical Centre for many years. The doctors are highly professional and knowledgeable and we have complete confidence that our health is in safe hands. The reception staff are very friendly and efficient and a pleasure to deal with.

Doctor Roahi gave my girlfriend the incorrect prescription advising her that her old prescription from Ireland isn’t produced in Australia, however the pharmacist said he didn’t understand why the doctor would advise this as they literally had the product behind the counter that my girlfriend took in Ireland. Tried calling to see if we can have a new prescription done up with the old product noted, however Julie on the reception firstly listened to my query and put the phone down on the desk next to her and waited for me to hang up ( could hear her moving and talking in the background) I called back again a few more times and each time as soon as Julie heard my voice hung up repeatedly. This is absolutely not acceptable nor the service you expect from people who you are entrusting your health with from the doctor giving incorrect information or the utmost unprofessional service by the receptionist who acts as though she works in a bottom level call centre and not a doctors surgery. Excellent service got an appointment within a few days. Doctor explained everything to me in detail and was very nice. Got treated same day. Could not have been more efficient.

Had an appointment booked for 3pm, after waiting for 45mins was told that my doctor was actually in a meeting. On another occasion I waited over an hour whilst my doctor was making personal calls. This place does not care about people at all. I will never attend this place again!

All good doctors left. Requested them to request my record to new GP and after a year it has not been done! I called them and was assured it will be done. After a month it has not been done and was told now i have to pay for the transfer. I dont mind paying but why didnt they advise me? Avoid this clinic at all cost. Not professional at all

I had a good experience at Modern Medical, St Kilda. I am new to the area so this was my first visit. They were helpful on identifying how to find the clinic and very clear with their procedures during the Covid restrictions. My doctor was friendly and attentive. The clinic was not busy (weekday afternoon) so I didn’t have to wait. I would recommend.

Worst attention ever, we did a urine exam, and we got an appointment for two weeks after to see the results, after two weeks in the appointment the most unprofessional doctor told us that someone never sent our samples, so we need to do it again and of course after paying the new useless appointment. I left the documents in reception and I told them: I’m not going to pay again for something that was supposed to be done correctly at the first time, no one even contact us to let us know that you couldn’t send the samples and the worst thing is that it was a severe condition of my wife and we needed the results. I’m not coming back ever again.

Having just returned to Melbourne after a decade interstate, I was very lucky to find such a great medical practice! Literally there is a medical centre next door, but I wanted an ongoing relationship with my GP rather than a rotation of unknowns. Dr Kevin Sandhu is excellent, knows his stuff, and is absolutely a joy to deal with. As are the reception staff, all delightful. Highly recommend 😊

He took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explained my diagnosis, and discussed treatment options with me in a way that was easy to understand. His knowledge and experience were evident. I’ve been coming here for years - it’s nice to have a reliable and trustworthy ongoing relationship with my GP which is what I have with Dr Mansourzadeh. Great service from all staff including receptionists.

Great experience here- easy booking, well located and close to St Kilda Rd offices, GP Dr Charles was lovely and very thorough- took time explaining and printing out helpful info and didn’t rush me out the door when I had questions. Receptionist was very helpful and efficient. No issue I was a new patient who had booked the appt 30mins beforehand! Will be back when needed.

From booking a last minute and urgent appointment (owing to an unfortunate accident) to being assessed, then carefully, thoroughly and efficiently treated by Nurse Fiona and Dr Magdelena, the whole experience was excellent. I am very grateful for the comfort, care and consideration that was afforded to me today. Thank you all.

Met Dr Jarnie Zhu for the first time on Tuesday, and then spoke to her by phone re follow up to Blood Test Results and a Prescription update today (Friday). Appears very knowledgeable, is efficient and also has a wonderful “Bedside manner’ as well - happy to recommend her to my Friends & Neighbours!!

My husband took my 23 month old to see Dr Charles Tsang as she is sick. She was crying as she is upset and not a fan of going to the doctors. Dr Charles was very rude, calling her a grumpy kid and even goes further to ask my husband if she’s always like this! What do you expect? She’s sick! The only reason we took her to this clinic was because her Dr at Albert Rd clinic wasn’t in today but we regretted in taking her to see Dr Charles. My husband even went back up to see him to ask for a specific antibiotics as the one he prescribed is out of stock nearly everywhere (according the the pharmacist) and he wouldn’t. He reckons the one we are after that my daughter had used before doesn’t work.. what a waste of time. If you have kids, I wouldn’t recommend Dr Charles Tsang. If you are after a better Dr. I highly recommend Dr Jarnie. I had a brilliant experience with her, so lovely and professional.

We attended the clinic and saw Dr Bahman today for the whole family. He was lovely in his manner, knowledgeable in his practice and timely in answering our all questions. Thanks to him and strongly recommend.

Excellent Nurse i do not think to have a referral to a doctor, being the same sheet of paper sent to alll doctors, with nothing pertaining to each particular referral, warrants a special paid referral for a patient. To begin with, so much of the information on my usual referral is outdated and not current; incorrect, and does not inform the Doctor you are referred to as to reason for referral. I know everyone is busy, but at $60 for ongoing referrals to othe Specialists, I don't think this is good enough (a) for the actual referral; (b) for the money. All that happens, is the same information is printed off to each doctor. A referral should be based on past & especially current & changing information.information.

Doctors, nurses, pathologist and front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. Grateful this clinic is a short walk away from home.

Kindly asked for a fresh face mask. The reception wasn't impressed by that, dropped the mask on the floor and expected the patient to wear it

Dr Murray was very punctual and approachable. Listened to my concerns and explained outcome clearly. Will certainly be going back again when needed.

My visit to St Kilda Road Medical Centre was a pleasure. The Medical Receptionist, Julie, was very welcoming and caring and I admired her calm manner in coping with a busy switchboard and patients. Julie has worked in this practice for many years and it makes visits less stressful to see her friendly face on arrival. The nurse, Victoria, who attended to me for a Covid booster, was also excellent. She explained everything thoroughly and made me feel at ease in a friendly caring manner, administering the booster efficiently. Compared to some of my friends' experiences when receiving their shots, I felt very glad that I have continued to be a patient at St Kilda Road Medical Centre, which I have attended for quite a few years. Dr Sandhu is wonderfully straightforward and friendly - he respects your time and gives you different options to enable you to make smart decisions and has a great sense of humour. Really wonderful Dr as is Dr Zhu and Dr Sebideh, good listeners and super knowledgeable but honest if they don’t know about something.

Highly recommend if you're in the area! Booking an appointment was very smooth. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. I had my appointment with Dr Charles, and he talked me through my symptoms and condition in an understanding manner and took into consideration everything I explained. Booked a consultation online for 1115. Received a call at 1130 advising me there would be an extra $10 fee. Was also then also advised that as they are running behind, I might get a call in another 15mins or so (30mins after scheduled time). Interesting experience.

My husband and I have just returned to Australia after 40 years in the USA. We were unclear as to how Australian Medical Services now worked. We chose St Kilda Road Medical Centre because of their wonderful reputation and broad range of services. We were not disappointed: Reception staff were welcoming and informative. Our new General Practitioner was warm, caring, and extremely knowledgeable and competent. The Medical Centre provides a large array of critical services which match our needs and Dr. Zhu immediately put in place a plan for our total well being. We are very grateful and comforted to know we are in the best of hands.

Absolutely superb service in general from all of the staff and Dr Nigel Murray has been a great help supporting me with my ongoing mental health issues. I am from the uk and he has been a great support system and understanding of any of my issues. I highly recommend him as a great GP.
