Remains of original old wall. One of the characteristic symbol of this city. There are on four corners of centre of Chiang Mai. They are beautiful illuminated at night.

The ancient walls of Chiang Mai. You can see history all around the city. To all the foreigners that visit this sight. Read the signs and be respectful, and stay off the old wall.

I have no idea of rating the fort on what basis. It is one angel of rectangular ancient city of Chiangmai. Each side are 1.67 km. totally area is 3.2 sq. km. I notice this fort as a mark point to go any direction.

Extraordinario, a big surprise food is good, not so spicy and can ask without msg, frog, BBQ fish, pork tongue and chicken, a good chang beer and for 700 four persons can eat well.

Glad to see restoration happening on some.of the locations. Not everyday you have a whole city inside a moat Now if thailand could get a grip on the garbage and recycling situation it would be even better

Historical corner and ruin of the ancient fort wall. What remains is the restored portion of the wall in the old city. Part of it looks like it is sinking into the water. Interesting to see when you walk or drive by, the city was able to repair what is left of it.

Take a moment to step back in time and imagine the splendor and glory of Old Chiang Mai. Its not a heart pounding adventure like many things in and around town, but it will work your imagination.

Chiang Mai old city wall, it's the ruins of archaeological site. Please don't climb or walk on the wall because It's can make the brick broken. It's easy to reach this place, next to the road.

This is a historic wall, parts of which still exsist and should be treated with the required courtesy and respect which their age demands not like today on section where a couple were bouncing up and down with their cell phones. Morons illiterate also as there is signage enough to say do not walk on the walls.

I love old ruins like this. On a busy road corner, and during the day there is no shade cover. Overall, neat this is just hanging out on the roadside. Can simply walk around the moat to enjoy more of the same.

Not much left. Cool to walk along water and looks at bricks. You can tell they are made of lesser quality, but got the job done. No need to go out of your way, but there is a main enterance (Eastern side) that enters into the night market and on the north side there is a famous jazz club. Really, it is just a wall.....

(Translated by Google) Very beautiful, magical, there is a very cheap Japanese restaurant nearby. But will sell in the evening, the price is 35 baht per dish itself. It's delicious. Teacher once told you that People at home are around here. Had heard the sound of a gong hitting the drum in the middle of the night coming from this basin Si Phum means Sirimongkol of the land area Meaning very good.
