An exceptional park with miles of trails and well-maintained, as are most Morris County-based parks. While the landscape could benefit from some cleanup of old fencing and unkempt brushes, overall I walked half the mileage and am eager to complete the rest at a later date. There are various entry ways in which offers ample parking, latrines, picnic areas, benches and even a playground with some workout stations along the way. I do a LOT of hiking throughout Morris and Sussex and this is being added to my list for location and scenery.

This is a great park that offers so many different activities. The paved path that goes through the woods is tremendous. Open fields, baseball field and bike paths to name a few features. I would highly recommend this park if you live in Morris County. An Annual 5k and Skeleton Run raises money for Childrens Hospital.

This park has nice paved trails for biking, walking and jogging. The park has a small lake at the entrance with benches and small brooks along the trails. We went bike riding there during the weekend and the trails are very peaceful, quiet and scenic. Some areas are shaded with trees while other areas are more open space. We rode for an hour and a half, taking breaks and sitting on the many benches along the trails to relax. It's a great area for a safe, family friendly ride.

Beautiful but relatively short walking path, but be careful of the horse manure if you take the riding trail. Nice play areas and outdoor exercise equipment.

This is a great place for a family sunday. You can run, walk, skate, ride a bicicle or even a horse. The whole trail is very easy without hill. The view is peaceful and beautiful. I will recommend for anyone with kids that want to burn some energy before meal. You can also walk you dog (with leash). Definitely I will keep bringing my family each weekend.

Great and peaceful walk, nice little stream, friendly people on the path, helps you think and clear your head. Also saw a crane on a stream and a bird that looks like "angry birds" πŸ˜‚

Beautiful walk on a clear and well maintained path. You can't beat the fresh air to clear your head and keep you fit. I encourage you to take photos so you can pause and connect to what you see - enjoy! Wrap up warm πŸ˜‰

Great spot for running and biking. Flat. Lots of paved trails, so it is great for little kids learning how to bike. They also have picnic tables. And very modern and clean bathrooms. Police was present on the parking lot (at least a car was there). Definitely coming back.

Fantastic place for a stroll or a bike ride with the kids very flat and easy to get around yet the horse trails offer a little bit of fun with the dirt.

Well maintained and popular location for walkers, bikers, joggers, and families. Distance is determined by how far you walk in and back. Approximately 7.2 miles potentially. Clean restrooms available! The path is paved, bit a bit narrow. Be mindful of your surroundings and move to the right when necessary.

Love this place. Can ride your bike or walk for miles on paved paths that are twisty turny. Extra nice that most of the paths provide a cool shade from the trees… especially nice when it’s hot outside.

Go for a walk, run or a bike ride with tons of great trails that extend into Chatham.. Playground, bathrooms and bike share available on site. Great, free outdoor location to bring the family!

Beautiful park with a great little playground for the kids. Lots of folks biking along the trail and walking their dogs. Had picnic tables available for visitors as well as a park bathroom with changing station.

Easy paved path, with some unpaved trails, through a beautiful reservation. Babbling brooks, horses (as well as horse poop), deer and birds are a common sight while hiking. Clean restrooms, picnic areas, playgrounds and bike rentals available.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ It's big space with trails, soccer and baseball fields, a playground for kids. It is also pet friendly, so bring the fur babies out when it's nice! There are two reservable group picnic areas. There is a open restroom as well. The kids like it (sans the mulch πŸ˜…). There is also other open fields as...
