This is a delightful little restaurant tucked away on one of the many picturesque and narrow little streets found in Old Cavaillon. My wife and I ordered the daily lunch special for a very reasonable 16 Euros which included slow cooked boneless pork ribs with a side of polenta and zucchini. The pork was exceptionally tender and was accompanied by a brown sauce which I am sure was made with the pan drippings and was also very delicious. My wife enjoyed her aperitif de la maison and I the house rose wine which were excellent. The included dessert was a deconstructed tarte tatin with salted caramel ice cream which was very creative and tasty. For the price which included the plat and dessert we felt it was very reasonable especially for the quality of food and service found at this wonderful restaurant. We will be returning and suggest you consider this fine establishment.

Husband and wife team run this very good bistro in the heart of Cauvillon. Must make reservations. Limited but delicious menu. Big wine list. The owner/waitress takes her time to explain each dish and what wine goes with each plate. I had the soft warm foi gras dish and the lamb. Very good English spoken. Outdoor seating available.

Great restaurant with excellent and really personal service, not too many tables so it feels almost exclusive. The food was remarkable!

The food is amazing! What a hidden gem! The 2 little welcome bites - were nice touches. The service was impeccable. I had the vegetables with goat cream cheese as starter and the pigeon as main course - simply delightful. The dessert was panna cotta. The Michelin star is well deserved. I also thought the prices were really reasonable, too for the quality,

Excellent eggplant/burrata entrée, with the eggplant succulent, delicate in a way reminiscent of a luxuriously poached fish. Paired with an excellent rosé from the Lubéron. Followed up with a fantastic piece of Angus, cooked to perfection and accompanied by sumptuous, caramelised prune sauce, puréed zucchini and a black olive tapenade from Nyons. Worth the detour.

Very nice place, small but calm and cosy. The meals are very good, starter, main plate and desert are delicious. Chiken, foie gras Fish with a succulent sauce Entremet chocolat You will not be disappointed

Easily one of the best cooked meals I think I have ever had. This was a last minute decision to go here and it was amazing. The service was impeccable and the food was cooked to perfection. There was no rush on it, the table was yours for the evening. The beef was cooked to perfection. Well done and highly recommended

A warm welcome, polished, professional service, excellent wine list and exceptional food. We feasted on an amuse of tuna tataki, salade d’haricots verts with tomato confit, and duck sausage (I could have easily had an entire dinner of this salad), and monkfish with rice from the Carmargue in an exquisite reduction. If you are in Cavaillon you have to dine at L’Envol. In fact, it is well-worth a substantial detour!

Our favourite restaurant in the area. A lovely room (and outside, too, when it is warm); a friendly, relaxed welcome; a menu that limits choices to those made with the freshest seasonal ingredients of the day; and dishes that reflect the chef’s passion to attenuate and complement the flavours of those ingredients. A wine list that covers the bases — especially for local wines — and attentive service that makes you almost feel you’re the home guests of close friends. L’Envol was like this before the pandemic and I was so happy to see this lovely hospitality hasn’t changed. Highly recommended — we will always come here when visiting the Luberon.

The food was excellent and surprising at times. The quality of ingredients (especially some vegetables like the courgette) were amazing and well prepared, compliments to the chef. Wine pairing was really well done. Add an incredibly lovely hostess to it all and the result is a great dining experience. Highly recommend.
