Normally the beach would be full of people and all covered up by restaurants. Also some locations have their own beach segments which limits the public beach area down to a minimum. However, I went to the beach at 5:50am, when things were still not set up and the beach was clear of any tourists and boundaries, which was very enjoayable. Terrible access in general though unless you pay at a restaurant to get through. There's only one free entrance and exit to the beach and I guess that this one will be closed down too if I didn't arrive at this place so early.

The water is pretty clear and the sand is OK. But at the shallow water is plenty of algae floating around and kind of not clean. You have to swim out a bit to get nice water.

I would say this is the main beach in Cannes. Centrally located right across from all the shops and hotels. The beach is segmented by private beach clubs/restaurants set up with all their own beach chairs to rent, which limits the public beach area down to a minimum. To access the beach you will have to pay at a restaurant to get through. For the general public there is only one free entrance and exit to the beach.

Beautiful beach overall. Location is great, water was beautiful. Had showers and foot washers there which was a nice touch. Sand could have been cleaner but overall a great beach!! Had a fun day there

Cool public beach - not crowded at all - but we were there a little early. The water was very cool and it dropped off really deep just a few steps in. I’ve put my feet in the Mediterranean!

the beach here is okay. sand is nice, the walk along is nice. however the area is also pretty empty, bordered by expensive designer shops and restaurants and only a few cafes to eat for lunch further in the city.

Its a long walk by the beautiful view and most of the place is private owned restaurants.

Watch out for agressive seagulls. They stole half of a croissant right from the hand.

Beautiful sandy beach, gets very crowded though, so get there early. We got there about 10 and struggled to find a spot. There is a beach shop, food shop and library nearby... we had a great time

My personal opinion is that people will be unhappy when they choose to stay their whole vacation at this beach. The water is quite dirty in summer and nowhere to hide from the sun. There are do many fascinating places near Cannes that it's almost a crime to miss a visit there.

Great beach to just sit and enjoy watching the waves.
