The first impression when I came into the hotel was it was rather old with visible wear and tear and relatively old furniture and awkward reception. I also perceived the hotel will be noisy being located along a busy main road. But despite my early perception, the hotel has the following positve features; 1. The room is sufficiently big and clean with enough furnishings 2. Aircon is well maintained and runs well 3. The bathroom/toilet is of acceptable standard with good water pressure and equipped with hot water 4. No smell especially from smoking 5. Lift works well 6. I stayed on the 6th floor. Noise from cars and motobikes could be heard but not annoying or disturbing. The noise from the birds living in nearby rooftops are greater but only up to around 10.00 pm (this may be a negative for some) 7. The receptionist during my stay was polite and very helpful, a "sunshine" for the the hotel industry. The only setback was the limited parking, as my car being a 4x4 could not be parked in the basement. Anyway, the polite and helpful receptionist allowed me to park by the side infront of the hotel. Overall, for the star rating and price of the hotel, my wife and I were happy with our stay at the hotel and gave it our full approval with a rating of 5 stars. Actually we intended to stay at the Muar Traders hotel but decided to stay here as the Muar Traders hotel was fully booked. No regrets.

OK la, not bad. Stay there for 2 night from 15/02/2023 to 17/02/2023... What U can expect for paying RM98 per night. Honestly, the room quiet small but still can fit 3 person. U get small tv with only 5 or 6 channel. The lamp full with dust. Housekeeping please alert about that. But the good things are this hotel location are in the heart of city centre. Easy acsess for going anyway, near to Muar Street Art, Muar Clock Tower, Bus Station, Convineance Store and many more. This hotel have 2 level of parking basement and the view at night was superb ( u can see Muar River )

Location right in the centre of town. Traffic very congested during weekend nite as people like to go near the riverbank hawkers stall. Its an old hotel. Rooms very spacious and good view of the bridge and city area. We were on the 6th floor and enjoyed the view. Toilet and shower was satisfying. Comfy mattress and pillows. We liked the good staff relation and super friendly staff. However parking lot downstairs was a bit scary and small. Leaking all over., Maybe becoz the building was old.

Although the hotel looks a bit old, they maintain it quite well and price is reasonable too. Location was in the middle of Muar town and I got a room with a nice view of the Muar bridge. Do expect some noise disturbance at night since it's right beside the main road.

A budget hotel located just near to the Muar bridge entry point into Muar town. Can call direct to book or use one of the many online booking sites. Product/Services: They have a range of rooms, I stayed in the standard room which does not have a window. Room is tidy, but feels old and tired. It's a basic hotel room. Bedsheet is clean, towels usable. The pillows are terrible and stinky, so just ended up not using it. There are some free channels on the TV. Ambience/Location: Room is very basic, not much ambience in the room or the hotel. Location is quite good. Walking distance to all the main attractions around town. There's also a food court and famous otak-otak place nearby. They have free parking for cars underground. Service: Staffs are very helpful and polite. That's probably a reason customers come back. Price: Price is acceptable. It's a budget hotel. Recommendation: Possibly get a better room. When to visit: Anytime, there's probably no peak visiting season in Muar.

Hotel is a bit old but clean and comfortable rooms. In a location beside the old Muar Clock Tower. Within walking distance to all the eating places on Google map. About 10mins walk from hotel to Wetex Parade. My room got a good view of the bridge and river. Parking space is basement or designated lots on street beside hotel. Basement carpark is a bit cramped. MPV and SUV must avoid. Will stay here again on my next visit.

Pay for family rooms , only have basic amenities , only 2 sachet coffe for 4 pax , rooms very basic , 4 channel tv (animal planet , aec , sports , unkown channel because all i can see is blurrrr) , pay more rm300 , not worth it for money , not my choice anymore

the room is not what i expected.. the room is comfortable but its dirty, crusty, and dusty… and the smell? oh my god… in malay we call it KEPAM.and lets not forget abt how i found a STAIN in my bed.. idk if its blood or what but it looks like blood 🤨 idek what to say mybe u should clean ur room properly.

good place to hang , rest , very friendly worker , good servicd by delivering our bags untill in our room , cold airconditioning , functioning water heater and easy access to parking , overall good place to rest

We took the family suite Rm 168 for 2 nights . 1 Queen bed and I single bed. A small shelving - no wardrobe at all, no mini fridge, the first night, 2 of us felt our hands and legs were itchy, my friend's neck were itchy and swell .. we felt it must be from the bedsheets .. besides that, the location is great, walking distance to the bus terminal, the Chinatown, the cultural walk location etc.

I mistakenly booked this hotel in malaysia, but actually this hotel was n italy and i requested for cancellation due to mistake booking. Hope expedite will hear this problem n return my money. Tqu

The view from the hotel room was beautiful since it has sea and city view. Price reasonable due to the place in the middle of city, near bus station and dining place. This place near to night market too.

This hotel is in a brilliant location for those arriving by bus. I noticed it out the bus window, then we went round the corner and we're at the bus station. The greeting was warm, and I had a decent view of the city and some view of the river from my 6th floor room. The shower was great and the internet worked well. Everything clean. The bed was kind of medium firm, not very soft, but not the hardest bed. I'd happily go back.

The room is very small. The bed is very uncomfortable. The bed is not really clean. The room had no soundproofing so the traffic noice from outside and alarm clock sounds from next door is really loud and noise. Also they do offer toothpaste, remember to bring your own

Was here around Oct' 2024 with my wife and teenage son. Awesome location. Highly recommended for foodies. City is very clean. Impressive. PROS -very near to Bentayan Bus Station & 434 Coffeshop & satay stalls -cheap & relatively clean -friendly & helpful staff -ample parking space for guest -nice river view CONS -room furniture need some upgrade -no swimming pool

Hotel is conveniently located in town centre. Close to eateries including the famous 434 coffee house (walking distance). Receptionist very nice mannered. However, the room was not properly cleaned. There were hairs on the floor and the bedsheet looked like it was not changed (as soon as i checked into the room i checked the bed and found hairs on the bedsheet and the appearance of the bedsheet looked like it was not changed) so i made a request for them to change and clean my room floor again. As it was a weekend night, the surrounding area was very noisy and busy. Almost difficult to get some sleep at night. Overall, this hotel is still okay for me because of the location and reasonable rate

A run down hotel, room is small and noise from karaoke. Mattress with sweqky springs due for replacement. underground parking boxes too small seemingly for kancils.

Rundown rooms. Need refurbishment. Dusty room and peeled off wall paint. Not suitable for sensitive nose

An old hotel that is rather well maintained, clean, great staff, strategic location near the city center and super competitive price. The only setback is the limited basement parking space with a bit low ceiling (careful 4x4 owners) and no elevator from basement to lobby. Other than that, it would be a very² good place to stay.

My husband and i, we went to this hotel since it is located in the middle of muar town...we arrived quite late at night, and the reception greet us with a smile... we book the normal room which cost us RM 78 per night...the hotel look quite old, but what i like about the hotel is at the lobby of the hotel, they have put a small display of historical item which i think would a attract history lover...we went up to our room, it was quite big, but the furniture is quite old but it is well kept... except for the television...but since we seldom watch tv so it is not that important to us...we end up staying another night because we like it that much...thinking about switching to other hotel, but since Muarar 99 hotel price is very reasonable, we stayed longer...all in all, great hospitality great location and really value for money...

Room was clean and comfortable. There was coffee and tea provided. Hot water kettle was also provided. Complete with bottled drinking water. The only set back was the tv screen was blur, therefore we cannot watch the tv.

I love stay here nice room and all the staff very friendly especially mr firdaus very helpful one... Will come stay here again
