😠 Seriously this place is overrated. Food quality and services are bad. There are customers canceled drinks order for he waited too long and the shop is not even packed. We personally experienced bad services where no one wants to take drinks order after we have asked for the services multiple times.... People often mention coffee, eggs, nasi, lemak, boiled, good, kaya, shop, local,

Seriously this place is overrated. Food quality and services are bad. There are customers canceled drinks order for he waited too long and the shop is not even packed. We personally experienced bad services where no one wants to take drinks order after we have asked for the services multiple times. It took us a while to pay for our food because no one wanted to attend to us. The whole experience gave us the feeling of "we don't need your business". Food wise, our eggs are overcooked and charcoal roti bakar is cold and chewy when it reached our table. I can't taste the Kaya (they only spread a small amount of Kaya on the bread). The nasi lemak and beehoon are normal and nothing to shout about. I had better elsewhere including the mediocre commercial place like Nyonya Colours or Toast Box. We left feeling very disappointed.

Despite with early birds savouring their meals and a bit packed with customers, I didn't have to wait long for my regular cup of coffee .Cheap place to have a meal. My meals of a pack of nasi lemak, mee siam and coffee only rm3..Wow real cheap... Customers of all races observed.

Only coffee (kopi) and half boiled eggs are good. Don't bother with roti bakar or stim. General cleaniness is lacking. Wonder how they got 3 star from the local council. Also, don't go there on weekends as under-staffed until nobody to clear the used plates from tables or wipe them.

We traveled from KL to Muar for this traditional coffee shop. It was overrated. Coffee was average, the worst mee hoon and noodle i had in my entire life

Only open for take away during RMCO. Food and coffee is great! Fragrant nasi lemak, kaya butter toast taste good, coffee is amazing. Old style kopitiam at it's best. They got sell homemade kaya and onde-onde. Worth recommending and will come back again.

Service is top notch but food is overrated. My first time here, unfortunately met with a bunch of smoker chimneys non stop. The fact that when I informed the boss, he said he can set up a table at the back next time at the kitchen area, tells me a lot -- the smokers are there to stay. Nothing against smokers, but I expect to get the same respect as a non-smoker. Forcing people to be second hand smoker is not acceptable. My first and last.

Old school style of kopitiam is the best kind as it brings good childhood memories. Their Hainan tea is quite milky to my taste, but the roti bakar was so gooddddddd with their homemade kaya. The nasi lemak and kuih as well. And the perfect soft boiled eggs!

Muhibbah outlet where all races come together and eat without fear or reservation. The locals call this shop "BAY DEH" Simple plain nasi lemak and mee Siam with no frills...tasty food. They serve perfect half boiled eggs and very good local coffee 😋 It's an old fashioned coffee shop..no ambience actually but heart warming to see the different races support this outlet💕❤️🙏

Nice quaint place. A real shot back in time. The toast, egg and coffee are good. All well made and delicious. Not mind blowing but a nice little coffee shop for the community to gather. I did try the nasi lemak which was a nice “compliment” to the experience.

One of the few nostalgic coffee shops in Muar which you want to start the day with having toasted/steamed bread with butter/kaya spread, splendid half boiled eggs, traditional "kuih", "nasi lemak", fried mee hoon, curry puff, etc. My advice, just go for it.

Very authentic and classical kopitiam environment. Coffee is very good. Egg yolks very big. Toasts are great! 👍👍👍

Excellent coffee and kaya toast bread. Can smell the aroma of burnt wood. The other items like mee goreng, bee hoon and nasi lemak are rather mediocre.

A local traditional coffee shop selling toast and steam breads with kaya, butter or mix. You may also get Nasi Lemak, Mee Siam and various of 'Kuai' Suitable for Muslim and non Muslim. A harmony place to enjoy breakfast as well as taking a break a long the day

Soft boiled eggs was served almost full boiled eggs. Kaya toasts were nice but it was cut too small in proportion. The charcoal toasting we’re mediocre. Kopi’s aroma and taste were fine. But kopi o kosong were slightly a bit sour. Guess May have brewed too long. Bihun mee siam and Odeh odeh were fantastic. So nice. But overall, I’m wondering why the Sultan came to patronise this kedai when the food are mediocre.
